Awesome location. Very nice.

I have always had good experiences with this hotel but this year was terrible.

The property is always clean and very well maintained.

Everything at the hotel was clean. Rooms were well-maintained and the beds were comfortable. The only issue that we experienced was with the elevators. Two out of three were not working.

The pool was closed and we were not notified. There was trash everywhere outside. The staff didn't even look up from the computer to say hello. There was no coffee from 545am to 915am. The 6th floor stunk like it had been a smoking floor that was sprayed with frebreze. The room has no bathroom door and it was off the track

This property needs to fix the garage exit bar. For those who stayed and paid for parking there should not be any problems when we’re leaving the property. There are three vehicles, trying to leave the garage myself included, and our key cards did not work. We had to notify The front desk.! We all were very flustered. $30 for that inconvenience is not OK.

Pool/hot tub is under construction and there was no pre-message regarding this. Front desk staff became defensive in response to me when I suggested emails they sent me directly from the hotel should have mentioned the pool/hot tub closure since it was one of the main reasons I booked the hotel. Instead of being able to accept the feedback, she became rude, which is not an ideal way to treat guests. Hotel was clean, but there was a horrible chemical/perfume smell being piped in throughout the building that gave us headaches. We initially thought it was cleaning products, but realized it was everywhere we went, so realized it must have been coming in through the air conditioning. Luckily, we were able to open the window in our room slightly to let fresh air in. This is a loud hotel - tons of families with kids yelling in the halls and through the adjoining room door - ice machines right outside the door. I guess because it's a convention center hotel this is to be expected, but something to be aware of if you are traveling without kids or not in a large group. Room itself was nice. Appreciated the refrigerator and that it was enclosed behind a panel so we didn't hear it humming all night; spacious, with good furniture, room to hang clothes and nice couch/seating area.

Easy check in, clean room, great amenities. I only had one issue. I booked a King bed and ended up with 2 double beds.

It would have been nice to know that the pool wasn’t working in 90 degree weather when booking the hotel. Room service menu is very limited. Room was clean and spacious and was ready when I checked in. AC was extremely loud and woke me up all night.

Great experience and great room. Only thing would be to add more employees at the front desk. It was a long wait time.

Overall the food was quite good. I did have one unfortunate experience with poorly prepared broccoli but outside of that everything else was excellent. The hotel is very convenient to downtown riverside and is very convenient if you have places to go in that area. I highly recommend it.

I was very unhappy about my dinner. Other than that my stay was awesome the resort is excellent.

I was upset that the pool was closed, that was the main reason I booked there. I was upset that the Starbucks had a limited menu, I would of not waited so long in line. The beds were not comfortable and felt cheap. Hotel was clean, average sized room.

The hotel appears to be very old, out dated and not kept to Marriott standards.

I came into town for a job interview. I was able to check in early, which was very important. The gentleman who checked me in was so friendly and informative. He went out of his way to see if he could accommodate my early check-in, which I needed to prepare for my job interview. The room was great, and the location can't be beat. I had a lovely stay. Nothing. The Marriott went out of their way to accommodate me.

The place was clean other than my shower covered in hair which was icky. The staff was great tho very nice.

Hotel room is really nice but breakfast is not included. And you have to pay parking per day that gets taken out of ur incidental charge .

All in all, it was disappointing considering we spent close to $300 per room for one night.

They had an agreement with the hotel across the street. They gave me breakfast credits in appreciation for my understanding of the inconvenience.

Very expensive and they try to get another dollar from you at every step.

If you get lucky there is some street parking nearby, not sure if you have to pay to park in the street.

Breakfast was not included and would have been 25.00 per person. We also had to pay $30.00 a day for parking. The hotel is well situated and close to the convention city and the downtown. The pool was being repaired and unavailable but the hotel had made arrangements with the Hyatt to use their pool.

Stayed for the night and it was very pleasant, only thing I’d recommend is ensure guests don’t play loud music after 10pm

What we did see very nice would stay again.

The shower door rail was very dirty, which made the bathroom feel unsanitary. To make matters worse, the elevator was not working. We had to carry our luggage down 8 floors using the stairs while traveling with small children. This was very frustrating and completely unacceptable for a hotel. Overall, the hotel is in terrible condition. I would never stay here again and absolutely do not recommend it.

Everything was perfect. Really good hotel. The only thing maybe was the person taking the orders in the Starbuck. When ordering more than one drink felt her vibe kinda off Maybe cause it’s only her working the coffee bar.. but other than that good hotel she friendly staff

I wish I would have been told prior to booking that their pool and spa was under construction. That was the whole point of my booking was so I could use the pool and spa. Let was a waste of a booking.

Room was in ok condition but not as clean as it should have been. Hotel is getting old so it feels that way. And some strange really loud banging each night and morning for a bit of time, and it wasn’t from someone in the room below. More like the storage room or some sort of workers area was below me and it was pretty annoying.

But....I always write this hoping they willsome day pay attention! The bathroom lighting is not great for women when trying to put on makeup, etc. And there is no AC vent in there either. Also, the showerheads are never strong enough. Takes longer and uses more water when they arent steong.

Marriott excellence all around. Short walk to the Mission Inn where we had dinner. My only complaint is the $30/night fee for guests to park at the property.

We had an issue with noise starting around 5 am. Sounded like furniture being thrown around in a room. Called front desk and they had security check the 2nd and 3rd floor. When I went in to take a shower the faucet handle came off so no water. My sister and I took sponge baths in the sink. We advised the front desk when checking out and your staff were very professional and gave us a credit for the parking. We will come back again.

Room was still dirty from previous guests, and it took over 4 hrs to get someone to fix an issue with the restroom.

This hotel nickel-and-dimes guests at every turn. Parking is an automatic $50 per day, which wasn’t clearly disclosed. There’s no free internet, which is unbelievable for a modern hotel, room service overpriced by 50%. The overall value for the price is terrible, and the service felt indifferent at best. I would not stay here again and do not recommend this property to anyone looking for comfort or basic amenities.

The facility was very nice, staff so helpful and friendly. The only downfall was my room on check in was not properly cleaned. My pillow cases had not been changed and floor not cleaned very well. Staff were very nice to help me though.

Amazing place to stay if you're going to be in Riverside. It was a block away from Downtown Riverside so we had no issues finding amazing spots to eat and drink within a two block walking distance.

The hotel was lovely and an easy walk to the Fox Theater, which was our ultimate destination, however we would have appreciated some food and bar service at lunch time.

Property was centrally located in downtown Riverside, easy to walk to everything. 1 downside: there is only 1 universal EV car charger. There are several Tesla chargers, but only 1 universal and it was constantly being used by other cars.

The sheets had blood on them which was absolutely unnerving, unsettling, and disgusting to say the least. It made the rest of the room feel dirty and made me very uncomfortable for the whole stay. I would hope the sheets were washed but by the looks of it, I would assume they weren’t. There was also lots of dust on the edge of the shower doors on the floor that could use some scrubbing because it began looking yellowish. Other than that, the stay was fine with good amenities for Marriott members.

The security guard was extremely rude to my boyfriend asking him why he was there. Once he showed his room key the security guard said that doesn’t mean anything and stated people like him don’t belong here

The room felt grungy and the air conditioning very loud. We checked in and the last customers glasses were still at the corner the room door when we left. Dinner was a disaster in terms of how long we waited I believe over an hour and the appetizers were served last! The food as far as taste was good by our guests vote though the tortellini was just tube macaroni. We weren't discounted or giving an apology. I understand being shorthanded though it was a joke! The place lacks attention to detail and at best a 2 star hotel.

Property was beautiful. Housekeeping did not do as we asked. They took away a towel and never replaced it. When I asked they took all the towels away . I had to call to get them all replaced !! I also asked the service to vacuum the room and they never did. The rug by the bed was gross

Outside property bushes and sidewalks smelled of urine and spoiled food. Parking garage was easy to access and felt more secure than the street side of property. Pool was refreshing.

Marriott gas always been great. But this time fell below on the bed having a dirty comforter and a sewing needle left in bed. My daughter was stuck in leg when rolling out of bed. The front desk was great on trying to resolve problem and had housekeeping change the beds asap. Vanessa great front desk service.

We got there and the room was hot out took a good ten minutes after we turned the air on to actually start cooling the room. I was calling to get a maintenance person when it finally turned on. It took another hour or 2 to get the room cool. The shower and towels had hair on them. It didn't have basic things in the room like a fridge. I called to let them know the fridge wasn't working and hot and they told me it's not a fridge but a cooler that looked like a fridge... We had to make many trips to the 5th floor to get ice. Ice is only on the 5th floor. We ended up with water all over the place because this fun "cooler." It was a hassle for a hotel that's supposed to be on the nicer side.

The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and check-in was smooth. Our room was spacious and well-stocked with essentials. Parking was easy and convenient. However, the hot tub was out of service, pools were lukewarm. When we requested towels, none were delivered—even after 90 minutes—which left us walking through the lobby soaking wet. Although we came for the event, we still expect our room to be a nice break from all the crowds. Our second night was less than stellar as we were kept up until 2am because of a loud party / concert happening on the floor below ours. While the location is excellent for convention center events and the stay wasn’t terrible, the experience was mixed. I might stay again for the convenience, but I’ll also consider other options before booking again.

Front Desk service was excellent. I wish there was an in-room dining menu when you want to order room service especially when you're there for 1/2 nights.

Great property, close to dining/bars, in the middle of downtown Riverside. Rooms are updated and look great. Good size room, and had a great view of downtown and the hillside. Would definitely stay again.

Didn’t warn us about the pillows being down (we have allergies), hot tub was broken, shower head was broken, random guy sleeping right outside the entry doors, majorly understaffed, internet is spotty at best, tv kept glitching, trash left in hallway all night and day.

Room service was based upon availability. What? You’ve sold me a room and now you can’t clean it. Bedding didn’t fit the bed. Pillows were awful. Parking is expensive. Waiting list to check in?

Upon arrival there were some gang affiliated kids that threw a water balloon filled with some red liquid to my car. Then they hit the car behind me. This happened in front of the convention center. I also saw them walking near the hotel which I avoided. Something to look into.

The hotel was nice as well as the staff however the only issue was paying for parking. We already pay for the hotel why is parking $30 just to park at the hotel we are staying at. Obviously to get to the hotel and around you need a car and we shouldn’t have to be charged for this.

Arrived to the room and noticed how hot it was. Went to the thermostat to change and it wouldn’t cool down the room. They need to fix room 714

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms need an update on furniture. Price is good for the place and location. My only downside was parking is $30 dls per day. And the rooms not all come with a fridge or microwave, if you want one is an extra charge. But overall is a decent place for the price.

The hotel was nice and clean. Room was clean and updated. Layout was a little odd as a large armoire was at the hallway entrance and there were other places it could have been placed that were out of the way. Service was okay. There was no ice machine on our floor but we were not told that at arrival. We had to go searching all around until we realized it was missing from an alcove that looked like it had hookups. We asked the cleaning staff, who said they were new and were unsure. Not only were we uninformed, but staff as well. I noticed then that we were not informed of anything at check-in as they usually will inform us of amenities, parking, etc. I had to ask how to access the parking lot. Not the level of service expected from Marriott that we have received in the past.

Love the facility however a ton of 10yr old soccer kids running around the lobby, bar and restaurant all evening unparented and doors closing all night. The night after they left was great.

Woke me up at 5AM with loud thumping and banging. The desk person said they would refund my money. Then said they couldn't, because I booked through Expedia. Expedia didn't keep we awake. It was you. I will never stay at your property again. I'll let everyone I know how bad I was treated.

I had a wonderful stay at this location, and I can't recommend it enough! The staff, especially Noah at the front desk, went above and beyond to ensure my experience was perfect. Their warm hospitality and attentiveness made all the difference. The amenities were fantastic. I was particularly impressed by the cleanliness throughout the hotel and the convenience of the quality restaurant and bar.

Fabulous property and perfect location

Love we could walk to cafes and shop. But many homeless in area outside of property. We were confronted by one carrying a broomstick during the day. It took a lot of effort to be able to walk away from him. The homeless in the area seemed to have mental issues not drugs.

Quiet and clean and safe

This is the 2second time we use the hotel and convention center for an event. The Hotel does not have the staff to handle the amount of people they book. They book back to back event and can not turn the rooms around fast enough. The rooms are not cleaned and can not check in un till almost 7 pm at night. We had an event in the convention center and came from out of town. This delay made us late as we could not get ready in our room. Not to mention the extra stress that this adds when you have a schedule and a large group.
