Inexpensive. The room was clean (when I arrived) and didn't smell, the air conditioner worked, and the shower had hot water. The room was poorly maintained. The privacy latch hung off the doorjamb, as if the door had been kicked in. There was a power strip dangling from the microwave (this is a code violation). The toilet flushed properly about half the time. There was supposed to be daily housekeeping, but I was here for five days, the room was never cleaned, and the trash wound up spilling onto the floor.

The room's floor was very creaky and noisy. The bedside tables needed cleaned, and the sheets/duvet for the bed was gross. The faucet in the bathroom was not properly attached and moved around when you turned on either faucet. Water pressure was quite low from the sink's faucet. The microwave was peeling on the inside and rusty. At least the air conditioner worked.

Room was fine. There were some issues with the outdoor door locks not working so we had to prop it open to get our stuff in. They said they were ordering new locks. . When I walked in they quoted a room price considerably higher than the online price I had just seen. I had to make the reservation on the phone while standby the desk to get the lower price. Not a lot of sense in that. Overall it was an OK budget hotel. Room was clean and no significant issues

Rooms were horrible. The stench of smoke as we opened the door was so bad. And it lingered the entire time we were there. Toilet was not bolted down on either side and rocked as you were on it. Toilet seat slid around as well. The center faucet wiggled because it wasn't installed properly. Hot/cold handles were put on backwards. Took a bath and shower at the same time. An old bracket from a towel bar was still hanging on the wall. Flooring stuck up in places and almost cut our feet. Horrible place! Do not stay here! They should be paying us to stay!

This place is absolutely gross! The smell was horrible everywhere. The toilet was super dirty, the floors were gross, and the window was broken with tape on it — definitely did not feel safe at all. There was also a strong smell of marijuana in the hallway the entire time. I know it’s cheap, but honestly I would rather pay more than stay at this gross place again. I hate giving bad reviews, but people should know before booking. Do NOT stay here!

BEWARE we arrived late for a 1-night stay. It seemed OK - well lit with card access, lobby was welcoming, front desk was pleasant. I booked through hotels.com & payed in advance I thought we’d be good to go. Check-in went well until they asked for a credit card. That’s standard - they usually place a hold that releases when you check out. What raised major red flags with me was that they weren’t intending on placing a hold but they were going to take a photocopy of my card to keep on file. I’m sorry but absolutely not. Even with card monitoring through my bank there is no way that I would ever allow someone to take a copy of my card. The attendant did say they would discard it after checkout, but I was not reassured. I’m very disturbed that this wasn’t listed as a requirement of booking. Thankfully, I had a small amount of cash on me & they finally allowed a $100 cash deposit. Unfortunately, we were put in a room with an active leak from the ceiling. It had obviously been leaking for enough time to cause damage to the window, wall, & baseboard (poorly covered with a scrap piece of drywall). We were moved to a vacant room that was at least in better shape. However, that entire hotel was poorly cleaned & in horrible condition. Most of the room doors looked like they had been kicked in & poorly repaired. The HVAC vents were atrocious. Oh, & they advertised free breakfast but there wasn’t any. If it wasn’t so late & we didn’t have to get up so early we would have left.

But it didn't really anything beyond that. My room was not in ideal shape with large cracks and tears all over the floor, but clean besides that. I did have trouble with the door locks but everything was secure when I figured it out, even if it didn't look too secure. Appliances overall worked, but there were some significant oversights. Like the entire power to the bed lights not working, only to randomly turn on while I was asleep at night. Also was kept up a bit with how noisy everyone in other rooms were being for evening hours. Service was kind of mixed. Evening of my check-in was alright, but during the check-out the counter was completely abandoned, I could even see the cell phone they left behind. More importantly, there was no way for me to reach someone to know I was ready. It basically came down to me waiting at the counter until another customer happened to noticed. When I actually did get service though everyone seemed polite enough which I have to give props for with how tired everyone seemed to look. Probably should update that lobby photo too. Said free coffee, but the photo made it look like more than what was actually there. Not sure if it was really worth the price, but at least it was cheap. I guess my line for minimum quality was just a bit too high to achiev

Stayed one night as a stay over to continue my travels. The bed was comfortable, but that was the only positive thing. The pillows were as flat as a pancake, the room door looked like it was kicked in at some point, there was no lock on the bathroom door and a piece of the floorboard was missing near one of the beds. Motel is run down and could use some real love by the owners.

Kind of a no-frills place but perfectly adequate for a night's sleep on the road. Staff we encountered were courteous and helpful. Parking was easy all around the building. Our room was a bit shopworn but clean, with a good little microwave and a small fridge that needed defrosting. Wifi was quite good and the beds were very comfortable. Location was next door to a great eatery. Suburban environment not far from I-390.

What really made me mad was the phone call I got this morning. The clerk on duty said she was unable to process my payment through hotels.com, and I should call them and get them to call the Econo Lodge. I did this. It took 40 minutes. What I can't understand is how there is no back channel between econo lodge and hotels.com. There must be some sort of service agreement between the two. I find it extremely unprofessional to have guests handle a problem between the vendor and the hotel. However, the person I chatted with at Hotels.com was very kind and very efficient.

That's all the good things that I can say about it. The bad side? The air unit had no direction fins to direct the air, so it blew on you. I turned it off. The air freshener that they used was so overpowering that I had a headache from it. Even when turned off the air unit was making noise that I had to unplug it. In one the corner of the room was a dead cockroach. The bathroom was a horror show. The ceiling was falling down over the shower, and it looked moldy. The sink didn't have any type of drain cover, so if you dropped something in the sink it was gone. I have stayed in different hotels that charged the same price and the room was better. Very disappointed.

Unfortunalty, the room was not clean. The hallway and room had a stale smell of smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room. There was lipstick or something red on the walls in the bathroom. The "plug" that was provided for charging phones on the bedside table was filthy inside and had not been cleaned in a long time. There was also food or something in there, but I did not take the time to look at it more closely. The curtain rod was bent and some of the clips were missing. The desk chair was missing a castor or 2. The shelf in the closet was not hung correctly and was very unstable. The sheets did seem clean, thankfully. I feel like the LVP (vinyl plank) in the rooms was a good choice, I am sure that helped cut down on the stale smoke smell that had permeated the carpet in the hallways. I understand we did not spend a lot of money compared to other hotels in the area, but I did expect the room to be cleaner than it was. I know the hotel is dated, however, I could overlook some of that if it was clean and well-maintained.

I mean, it had a bed. Floors were cracked, with the fake wood split. The AC unit was filthy. The bed side tables were in terrible condition. The room smelled of cigarettes. The bathroom was gross. The shower curtain looked like it had been dragged in from the street. Dust on everything. But they managed to make a mediocre towel in the shape of a goose. (I would have preferred a shower stall that wasn’t covered in dirt) 5 days prior I requested an early check in at 1pm and despite them saying it shouldn’t be a problem, they couldn’t accommodate on arrival. Only reason for it not being a 1 star overall was because the bed was comfortable, and I never felt unsafe. I’d say I got what I paid for, but I’ve definitely paid that much before and had far superior experience. Not sure how this place has managed a 6.6 rating out of 10.

Had door to outside like a motel. Only a few of them, most doors inside. Pros.... hot water, convenient, shower water pressure, friendly staff and helpful Cons...no dresser (which seems to be the trend), noisy road traffic, heat-AC unit noisy and didnt regulate temp correctly All in all.. would stay again for a brief visit but 3 or more days, you may want something else

The hotel was fine and staff was great. The only problem was the walls were paper thin. I could hear everything from inside to outside. There was some sketchy people outside at night. I smelled marijuana from one of the other rooms. I liked they had parking but not to where I could see my car.

Extremely lack luster. Noisy heat/ac unit. Sheets may have been washed in hot water but no detergent. Trash left behind by previous guest. Broken towel holder. The smell of marihuana in the breezeway. Not a place for a lady to stay by herself unless she has protection of the leaded kind, just in case.

First when we got there we had to wait for 15 min to get a room because the room wasnt ready yet and they said the cleaner was just finishing up but when we got up to are room he wasnt doing the room he was just outside the room 205 and we waited for 15 min and when we had enough waiting we went down to get another room which had roaches in it so the next night we had to get another room which had no fan working and and pizza left overs on the ground... over all poor cleaning. And I didn't get my money back or a discount.

The room was freezing upon entering and heating element was so loud and kept going on and off all night making it impossible to sleep. There was lots of yelling in the hallway by other guest at night and then again early in the morning. The heater sometimes muffled the sounds in the hallway which was the only plus. The comforter had a burn hole in it and one of the deadbolt locks had been broken off.

This was a last resort booking due to everything in the area being booked. The place is run down. The room/lodge smelled terrible. When we checked for bedbugs we found trash and food remnants under the beds. There were bugs in the restroom this morning. There were questionable people hanging around when we checked in which gave it an unsafe feeling.

The hotel room was covered with cockroaches in the bed the washrooms and on the floor and the room was smelly. I complained in the morning and the staff wouldn't get me a price adjustment or say they were sorry - instead they said it was manager's decision and no manager was around. My daughter's and I were terrified and didn't sleep all night.

The first room I was in have bedbugs and cockroaches. I made the front desk aware of it they give me another key to another room. When I get to the new room the bed wasn’t made there was cockroaches everywhere and they were very big. I had to go stay in my car with the baby so cockroaches don’t get in his ears. The pillow were very dirty and have some black spots on them. The rooms was dirty and have dust all over. It was a bad experience.
