Very nice place clean helpful staff good breakfast

Stayed in a room with a king bed and a roll-in shower. Stay was xcellent! Breakfast bar was also great. Will be very happy to stay there again.

I am very Pleased with the the accommodations every time that I stay at this hotel . The rooms are always kept clean and comfortable , great parking and the continued helpfulness of Management ( Erica ) and Front Desk Staff ( Robert and Lashaunda ) .... GREAT TEAM ALL AROUND 👌👍 .

I stayed at this hotel for 7nights 8days as we are Diamond Plus Members. I did not book through IGH and immediately regretted not doing so. The pool was not open all week. I could not get my room cleaned or fresh towels unless I threw them outside of my door and even then i had to request new towels or fresh garbage bags to be put in. The sink was clogged but the gentleman fixed it immediately. Problem is, he left the black gunk all over the sink and floor. No one came to clean that up. The shower pressure was not there. I will say the hot water was center-of-the-sun hot. I was leaving early in the morning and there was no more half and half for the coffee. When I asked the person on duty if there was any more she said we don't put it out and proceeded to ask why so many people were leaving as early as we were. It doesn't matter! Just get the creamer for us. Thank goodness there is an IHop just across the parking lot. Breakfast was ok. It was the same thing every single day. Sometimes it was good and others it was awful tasting. The coffee was excellent. Loved the cinnamon rolls, the room has a microwave and fridge, and parking was adequate. The best part was Target and Ihop being within walking distance.

Fist to comment no one came to our room to clean for the whole stay until I decided to asked about it someone make shift and make the bed over with the dirty sheets, no changes of towels with 4 people into the room,AC got turned off 3/4 of the nite and for someone going through to stage of Menopause it was terrible.

Nicely maintained, good first impression. It hadn’t been vacuumed thoroughly, there was debris underneath the heater by the window. We were awoken at 1 am to street racing on the highway adjacent to the property. I heard another guest also talking about it at breakfast the next morning.

Our daughters were in a dance competition and we booked the hotel to stay together and to have use of an indoor pool. All the girls ended with chemical burn type reactions to the chemicals in the pool. Our shower faucet also ran all night and couldn’t fully turn off.

Horrible front desk service. Showed up an hour after my original check in time. Room wasn’t ready, he had no idea when it would be ready, and offered no solution just gave us a “too bad”.

Clean, well-maintained room with a welcoming and friendly staff. The breakfast was solid, and the instant coffee machine ensured fresh coffee anytime.

The hotel itself was perfect for what we needed. However, finding the entrance of the road, which was not marked, made it difficult. And when we arrived, there were a bunch of rowdy kids in the breakfast area. I know the clerk was trying to maintain order but, damn, those kids were out of control and not a parent to be found. For a few minutes there, my wife and I were considering not staying there and finding a different place. I had stayed in a relatively dumpy motel the weekend before and it was way quieter compared to this place at the time. After that, it was a good place to stay.

Did not eat breakfast at the hotel. My room was not ready when I arrived around 3pm. It was still not ready several hours later. I had to leave for an event and did not return until 10:30pm when, thankfully, I was able to get to my room. I think an adjustment to my bill would be appropriate for this inconvenience.

The room was clean and nice. There was no staff at the main desk everytime I went there. I saw one staff for my entire stay. No housekeeping services. There were cigarette butts all over the ground at the side door, like someone dumped the cigarette disposal and never cleaned it up. It was there for at least 24 hours.

Convenient location right off Rt 104. Same parking lot as IHOP and Target. Very close to Rochester General Hospital.

Clean Clean

Facility is clean and the breakfast was well served. Staff at evening check in could be better and the elevators were down and they had been for some time, as the paper on the elevator had bent corners. My wife has issues going up and down stairs, so I started to ask if they had any first floor rooms, but before I could get my comment out, all I got from the agent was "we are completely sold out."

Parking was fine, pool was clean, bathrooms needed to be cleaned better. Seriously understaffed. We fidnt get bedding for out pull out couch untill 11pm and we were tired breakfast was mid. Lots of cross contamination but a nice staff member got me some freshly made sausage for my kids allergies to eggs. The frost desk lady was nice to me but threatned my guest with a noise complaint that wasnt about our room. And the elevator was broken so we had to walk uo to the 2nd floor. I would stay again but at a different holiday inn express. Thanks

Room was great, but the Keurig machine did not work and there was hardly any water pressure in the shower. I would have appreciated their replacing the coffee maker for a four day stay.

Room was in good condition, comfortable bed and great breakfast but hotel had some questionable guests and traffic that made me feel uneasy. Asked to have room changed while there after questionable man checked in but by another gentlemen stated he was there to sober up.

Everything was GREAT as usual , accommodations was perfect , clean spacious rooms , friendly service from entire staff , I would/ will recommend this establishment to others .... friends and family .

The room and bathroom was very clean and I asked that they be cleaned daily along with new linens and it was taken care of for a several day stay The room was quiet and heater worked great in 20 degree weather. Very pleased with my stay.

The room was in good condition. The staff was nice. However, upon arrival after driving 5 1/2 hours we were originally told we were going to have to go to another hotel. Because there was a vacant room that was no longer vacant. Apparently that morning is when this was discovered. We didn't end up having to be the ones to move thankfully. However, even the thought of that was stressful. I would think that a call would be made prior to guests arriving to advise of the room situation. There were only a handful of cars in the parking lot so I'm not sure why there would be a room vacancy issue to begin with. Not really the best feeling that we were going to be moved and if weren't ok with that to "book somewhere else". Definitely will think about staying at another holiday inn

Everything was perfect! We had a good nights sleep and no worries because the place was clean! They even have good quality hand soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner! Thank you!

The breakfast was above my expectations. The TV control was a bit difficult and limited, requiring a lot of time to search. There was no access to streaming accounts.

The room was clean and beds comfortable.

The room had a smoky smell even though the entire hotel is non smoking. Room was not made up while we were out from 9 am to 3 pm. Otherwise good.

Checkin was fast and easy. The room was clean and comfortable. We were staying one night to go fishing the next day. I realize you can’t have the breakfast area opened all the time but to be told you can’t even touch the cereal at 5:30 in the morning is really ridiculous. There was about 6 people there at that time.

Everything else was fine.

The first floor room felt like it was in a moldy basement. There was a moist film over everything including the carpet and bathroom floor. To cover up the moldy smell they used a strong artificial fragrance that I could almost taste.

Overall it is okay for the price

Breakfast first day was not great. Other days it was fine. I stayed for 5 days. There was a roof leak on the 2nd floor with a bucket underneath. You could see mold on the Sheetrock above the ceiling. Not ideal. But. I’m pretty easily pleased. My work location was walking distance away so that’s why I picked it. Also. Generally HIE are quite “nice” this was was certainly in the low end of the HIE spectrum.

we have been coming here for years. never ever bad. this time extremely nonexistent room cleaning. no trash dumping, forget clean towels. we know how to make our own bed. There from Thursday till Monday.

Joy at the front desk was a hero. We were having trouble checking in and getting our key to work and she was so helpful and patient. She's the reason that I will definitely book again. The hotel location is so convenient and shares a plaza with Target and IHOP which is helpful for grabbing a quick bite and anything we forgot to pack!

During the stay the fire alarm, we rushed out but one of the employee came out and told us we could stay in room as its safer in the room as the doors are fire proof, this was rediculous.... he needs to be educated or he should not be speaking. I enjoyed myself

The ONLY Ice machine was out of order. The area gave me vibes that it may not be safe. We did not have a problem but just had a cautious feeling.

Only issue we had was the breakfast was only offered starting at 7am and since we were in town for a dance competition we left hotel each morning before breakfast time at 7am

The hotel had hot dining options for breakfast, which is a plus. The microwave and fridge in the room was also a great benefit to us. Target is within walking distance. So many places to eat conveniently located near this location. The room was extremely hot, (even with the heat off)which made it uncomfortable to sleep. The ac/heat unit was broken upon arrival so maybe that's why it was so hot. Our stay wasn't a bad stay. Thanks for the kind and polite staff who assisted us during our stay.

The pool’s chemical smell was overwhelming and we didn’t even go in the pool area. Staff was very friendly, property had shopping and food very close (walkable), and the breakfast was just what you expect from a Holiday Inn Express.

Erica was super friendly and helpful at check-in ! The property does have a pool which wasn't listed on the Hotels.com website sadly.

While the staff and management were the saving grace for this hotel, the condition of the hotel was overall terrible. The rooms cleanliness was insufficient, the AC/heat was broken and could not be changed or turned off, as well as was stuck on the coldest setting in the middle of the coldest week of the year.

The comfort was good and the cleanliness was well kept. However, upon arrival we were notified the pool was closed. This was disappointing as we booked this hotel for the amenities they offered. Breakfast was served with over half the items empty or out of stock.

The property was great, Expedia overcharged us. Advertised rate was $110 taxes and fees included, I was charged $135 and some change. Not sure how to get a refund so be skeptical of advertised prices on Expedia.

I stayed at this hotel when it first opened and it was a great experience. This time it was a hotel in need of a renovation and maintenance. The bathtub caulk was very gross with brown mold and cracking. furniture was beat up looking. Beds and linens were good. Rip in the shade. Could have been cleaner overall. Front desk was very nice.

We had to request a plunger and service the toilet. The iron scorched my shirt. We did appreciate the not that they short on housekeeping staff. I perceive that as don’t expect much…

-You can see that they are trying to revive this place but theres still quite a bit to be done -There were a few suspect teens in the lobby that smiled at us and asked us what room we were in. Nothing bad occurred but the hotel staff seemed unconcerned with them loitering and asking these odd questions to guests -Hastily removed dispensers in the bathroom left lots of holes and various other blemishes. Should be an easy fix if they pay attention to it. -I am a fan of Holiday Inn Express but this one is beneath their standards.

Not what I would call breakfast.

I was surprised by the stores that surrounded the hotel. I managed to get a car wash and oil change during my stay. There is a Target and groceries stores surrounding the hotel. I was able to get everything I needed.

Overall, it's a very nice place to stay and is newly renovated which is nice. Why did I give 4/5 instead of 5? It was the breakfast service. Not that the food and drinks were poor, it was the attentiveness of the breakfast staff that was lacking. The person attending to the breakfast seemed like he didn't want to work. He did not tend to the garbage cans which was overflowing (so much so that patrons started throwing regular garbage into the recycling bin) and not attended to. He wasn't keeping items stocked up until patrons actually had to ask him specifically. There was a long period of time that he was using the computer in the lobby, sitting there to charge his phone battery and listening to music. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.

Cons were the odor of the cleaner, smelled like strong carpet cleaning powder, the overhead lamp shade in the room was ripped and hanging, there's a thermostat, but the old AC unit is the room was filthy, all slats and vents were filled with dust and mildew spots. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Didnt get to try the breakfast so not sure about that.

Very good, clean basic room. Underwhelming breakfast buffet. In room coffee maker was broken and the pool was indefinitely out of service for repairs. Fitness room available. Nice local beach opens after checkout.

Comfortable and convenient location for our trip

The only negstive was the breakfast was shut down before 10 AM and no coffee was available.

The rooms are not clean. I changed the room twice and still not clean. No good ventilation in the rooms. Breakfast during the weekdays is very limited. They closed at 9AM while the Breakfast time from 7- 9:30AM. The serving persons told me to come early next time !!!!

The bathroom tub was rusty. The vent in the bathroom was missing it cover.

I was put in a disabled room with a broken shower that fell on my husband and cut his foot. The pool was out of service and wasn't told this when booking. Also breakfast ran out before it was over... no knifes, no pancake batter, and no more cinnamon rolls. It was not a good stay.

Room 212 was what we were given and it was not cleaned by staff. The bathroom tub was dirty with someones hair on it. The outside of the trashcan was dirty and the bathroom door had colored fingerprints on it. Under the sink there was a corner where someone swept all the dust and debris at and just left it there. We had a pull out bed with a bag of opened goldfish ceackers under it. The next day when we were coming back from the breakfast, a housekeeper told us our room was vacant. We explained to here we were booked for two nights and she insisted on being rude, walking away mumbling, "I was just trying to let yall know, Sh#t". My husband called front desk on his cell as the room phone didn't work and in true rude service they blew it off. Perks- The breakfast was good, staff there was decent and it was clean and well keep. Long story short, we will never book this hotel brand again.

We were disappointed. The hotel is located to the side of "Target". We did not go there to shop. The welcome counter does not look like a hotel's counter. The pool is closed due that "they have been waiting for an inspector to come in for 2 months and check it out". According to them Expedia was informed, but we weren't. We did not get a Senior discount but they offer it. No one came in to clean the room and bring clean towers. Phone in the room is not working, had to go downstairs and get towers. The room smells like it had been previously a smoking room. Breakfast was good.

The Deskclerk treated us like we were a bother when we were checking in. He seemed more intererested in the computer screen behind the counter. Questioned the reservation because it was made by wife's maiden name. The other staff were nice and tried to be helpful. The breakfast buffet had no plates. How can a hotel with a breakfast service run out of paper plates?? Was told they were on order. If I owned the company, I'd offer 5 free nights with an apology.

It was a perfect spot for a little getaway trip.
