Great staff. Clean rooms.

All TV’s where not working in the morning in all rooms to watch the news , they came back on after a couple hours .

The staff was nice and the room was decently priced. Near restaurants and stores which is nice. Apart from that honestly it was a bad experience. Our room smelled of mold and onion our whole stay. We learned that a few homeless people have been staying in some of the rooms and he was the one making everything smell and bringing in his broken bicycles and smelly dirty things into the hotel. Homeless man was able to get into the pool area when I went in with my kids and he grabbed a few towels and started smoking a cigarette while he was in the jacuzzi. Elevator broke one day for the whole day and I have a bad knee from knee replacement so it ended giving me pain. The WiFi connection is terrible. The breakfast is basically air fryed potato tots, powdered eggs, and microwaved sausage links. The waffle machine is the only nice part of breakfast. Homeless liked to invade that area as well and touch everything. We had a lot of rain one night and turned out there was a leak in our window and water came in. The window wouldn’t close. It wasn’t pleasant overall honestly.

Enjoyed every part of our stay here. From the front desk to the pool to the rooms, everything was excellent. We will definitely make this our go to hotel every trip.

I was in the area to attend a conference. The hotel was located right off of I-30, which made it convenient for getting around the area. The hotel was clean and served a decent breakfast. I would definitely stay here again. Good deal for the price.

This hotel was clean and the staff was very nice. There are restaurants close enough to walk to, which was great after being in the car all day. The breakfast was good too.

Staff were nice. Breakfast could be better. Sofa bed still had dirty linen.

There was some construction in the lobby, however, that didn’t slow down checking in. The staff was extremely helpful. The breakfast was very nice. We didn’t use the swimming pool, but it looked like it might need to be cleaned.

I wish the parking lot was bigger.

Overall the room was okay, because we only stayed one night. I rented two rooms. My parents stayed in one, and my sister and I stayed in the other. My mom complained that the microwave was dirty. I didn't use the one in my room. Also both rooms did smell like pee. I don't know if they used a dirty mop to clean the floor. However, the room was clean and well stocked with towels.

Staff was extremely helpful i arrived not feeling well and early and they accommodated me and put me in my room right away and constantly keep asking if I was ok ..thank you so much for that..your breakfast was wonderful and location for us ws great..again thank you for everything and I will definitely book again great job every one ?

Bed was a bit uncomfortable. I was in a room by the ice machine and close to the elevator. It was pretty loud outside of the room. Didn’t sleep well.

There wasn't an elevator centrally located.

Bathtub dangerous. Rounded bottom and slippery. it was very dangerous to shower.

Bed too hard and sheets not soft like a lot of other hotels

The breakfast was excellent. The choices were great. The mattress wasn't comfortable. A note to self, when coming back to stay at La Quinta it is important to know that the church service gets out at 1030 a.m. and traffic is at a standstill.

Building is new. Room was clean. Breakfast was fresh. Love the fact only a tap was required for the key card instead of a "just right" slide to open the door. Wish all LQ's would go to this type of keycard. Only con..a/c was loud but it worked great. The pool looked clean but didn't have time to use it.

Refrigerator was frozen up. After a very lengthy time a replacement was brought. It was molded. I cleaned it myself and replaced it where l took the non working one out. Five day stay. Desk clerk said they would try to get me a refund for the first night. Didn't happen ? Stayed here many times. This was likely our last.

We've stayed here several times now when visiting family and it's always been so wonderful. The staff is friendly with greetings and stories and the place is so well kept. Even though it's right off the freeway you wouldn't know it. We'll stay here again!

The handicapped features in the restroom were the best we've experienced in years! Room was neat and clean. Beds were a little hard. Bath towels were a little scratchy and not as soft as I expected. Breakfast was okay.

Internet was nonexistent. on for 10 seconds off for 30. Breakfast is completely redundant. Powdered eggs and turkey sausage. Links/Patties, same thing. Maybe some imagination Canadian Bacon? Real Bacon? Ham?

Room was clean and reasonably well appointed. Location was a primary concern, and the location was convenient for our visit. Access is a bit limited but was not a problem. No complaints during our stay.

Our room was very nice loved the floor plan. Super clean very comfortable beds I give it a 10. General Manager help us with our check in he was exceptional. I love staying there in Rockwall Texas

One suggestion - need more towel racks in the bathroom. Hard to hang bath towels and wet bathing suits on one small towel rack.

Every thing was great

Hallway smelled like urine. There was a piece of a broken hanger in the hallway I saw on the first day and stayed there for the entire 3 days I was there. The room was clean but not the hallway I was on the 3rd floor. Will never stay there again. Only ate breakfast one day not the rest. Just felt too dirty to me. For the price thought it would have been better.very disappointed.

The staff was great and the 2nd floor window opened for fresh air and the place was very clean. We didn't have any food so we can't comment on that. We'd definitely stay there again.

We stayed here primarily for the convenience to the base. Area seemed dirty and sketchy. Hot tub was only “warm” so we didn’t use that (although would love to have after driving 1100 miles) the refrigerator in our room kept dripping water and there was a puddle of water every day in the bottom on our food. And previous occupants hair in the tub is a hard no for me. But they are very welcoming to the AF members. And location to the AFB was prime.

Clean enough but didn’t smell fresh. Low water pressure. Overall just okay.

This is the second time we have stayed here. It was great except one thing. Please look at your coffee cups. My daughter got a cup of coffee this morning and the bottom fell out of it all over her and almost on her 9 month old baby. Luckliy she acted fast enough and she eaa not burned by the coffee, but her stomach was red for several hours.

Good location for where we were going in the area. I stayed at this same laquinta 10 yrs ago and was very good then.

The area was quiet. The room was clean. The only the complaint was that the dryer in the guest laundry room did not work. I put my money in, and it kept shutting off within two minutes.

Checked in later in the evening. Front Desk Attendant was nice but seemed disinterested in anything but their phone. Hall in front of elevator and elevator itself was disgustingly filthy. Get to room, looked cleanish. Sofa was stained and tired. Flooring in room was dirty. Bottom of bathroom door looked to be broken and poorly patched up. Bathroom was dirty. Made me wonder about entire room. Too tired from flying all day to put much more thought into it. Slept in some and go down for a later breakfast. Attendant starts making breakfast for employees and sharply closing down at about 8:45, never replenishing for paying guests. Doubt I will be back, stay here if in an absolute pinch, but not worth the money. Parking lot is also sketchy and needs works.

Some downsides were that breakfast was basic and not so tasty. The cleaning lady kept on knocking and interrupting us several times so she could clean on her schedule and not ours. We were also told if we wanted a 1pm checkout we had to pay?? that was new!! Overall though a good stay.

The room was quiet and clean. I thought the bed and pillows were super comfy and I actually slept quite well. I normally don’t sleep well if I’m not in my bed. The pool was a little lackluster and was freezing but other than that it was a really good stay. It was nice to have a microwave in the room so we could grab some quick frozen meals to eat when we were hungry .

Staff was excellent but the place smelled of Marijuana. It could also use updating.

Very nice hotel. No deposit required. Excellent pantry/market selection with toiletries, cold drinks, frozen dinners, ice creams, candies, dry goods. Upgraded to the suite at the property. Very nice room, very clean. Limited breakfast hours so ended up missing it. Provided a complimentary late checkout. Excellent experience overall. Will stay there again when I visit Rockwall next.

Our stay was good. Had a late check in and they were very accommodating. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The only issue was the room had a faint cigarette smell. It did eventually go away. We were too tired to switch rooms. Did let the front desk know.

It was a great value for the price. Would recommend it.

Room itself was nice and I was only there for a few hours on business. I didn’t even stay the night. Only complaint is that I paid through Expedia and when I was sent a text from la Quinta prior to arrival, I entered in all of my information (license plate, drivers license, credit card for incidententals, etc) for a “speedy” check-in. Upon arrival the attendant still made me do all of those things and then some. Still a nice room and location.

We were there for one night for my son's birthday and everything was great. They have a couple restaurants at the front of the parking lot. The rooms were very nice and pretty spacious the staff was very friendly and the check in was super fast and easy. We will definitely be staying again

Decent hotel. Traffic congestion around the area. Felt safe. Had to wait like 15 minutes to check in because the front desk worker was helping someone with their TV. I guess only one employee?

Soon as we arrived there were people with their personal grill on the property and really noisy, lobby smelled like cannibus and receptionist looled like he was under the influence. Hotel smelled really bad and the room was very outdated and felt really humid. Beds were very uncomfortable. I decided to take my family else where as soon as we entered the room. Very unfair price for the condition of the hotel

The room was mediocre at best. There was no bar soap for the sink and counter was dirty. The only redeeming factor was breakfast. Everything was clean and very well maintained. This location was a disappointment after staying at several other LaQuintas on my trip. I would recommend the chain but certainly not this location.

We were however disappointed in the indoor swimming pool/hot tub. They were both filthy! There was a film of scum on the top of the water - it was nasty so we chose not to swim. Otherwise our stay was good!

The hotel charges you $25 to take your pet in, but then we were asked to leave the breakfast area because we had our dog with us. The problem with this situation is that there are NO tables to sit down with our dog to have our breakfast. I understand the reasons both legal and social for this but if you allow pets and charge extra for them please supply a place so we can eat breakfast with tables.

You can tell the property had some remodeling. However, I did like how quiet my stay was. I felt safe parking there. The beds were comfortable and shower was warm. The microwave in the room is an old style if that matters to anyone. Breakfast is your typical free breakfast. The pool was warmish *according to my family *. I only used the hot tub which was definitely warm. I like having it indoors because it gave the kids something to do in the rain. The staff I encountered was super friendly. The only downside was the fire alarm went off in the morning after 8 am. Otherwise, I enjoyed it and would stay again if ever in the area.

This is a nice property

I'm very picky about where I stay and do not hesitate to recommend this property. We stay in Rockwall about twice a year and will be coming back here next time.

The indoor pool and hot tub was so nice! Hotel is very quiet and the pillows were nice . I would definitely come back here !
