Nice staff, clean room. Was late to breakfast so didn’t have much options but what we got was good! also had trouble with booking originally and they helped resolve issue no problem!

The sausage and eggs were rubbery. Too crowded and not enough seating. Coffee was good.

Location good. No decaf coffee labeled or available. No coffee maker on room. Not enough plug ins in the room. No way to charge my phone without a plug.

The staff was friendly & accomodations and breakfast were great! Located right by a gas station and restaurants. Pet friendly. Family Friendly. Nice pool and spacious, clean rooms.

I killed a huge spider the first 5mins there. The next morning the shower turned on after 5mins of trying then wouldn’t turn off. Staff had to use tools to turn it off and they wouldn’t adjust my rate at all for the inconvenience. I will never be back here. Also I am a platinum member who travels every week. This I strongly recommend anywhere but here !!!!

The room was okay. The faucet on the bathroom sink was too small for the sink so when washing your hands you had to rub the back of the sink. The room had a little bit of a smell to it. There was definitely some black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. The beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable! But staff was absolutely amazing! I give the hotel a 5.5/10 but the staff an 11/10. The ladies were so sweet the whole weekend!

Everything about the property was slightly above standard, the room was very comfortable and clean, and the staff was extraordinarily helpful! I think the breakfast could use a little upgrade, specifically it would’ve been nice to have yogurt and granola, or oatmeal plus fresh fruit.

Hotel was very clean!

Breakfast was watery eggs microwaved paper slices of bacon and watered down juice. Parking was fine as there were very few guests.

We have stayed at this hotel several times a year, every time we attend an event at the Harvester. Over the years, the condition of the property continues to decline. The side entrance door does not close securely making it easy for non guests to enter. The bathroom shower curtain had dark black hairs all over it. The shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers have been removed. The ceiling in the bathroom has mold on it. Very disappointing as this has been our go to hotel wherever we are in Rocky Mount for a night of music. We will be looking for a different place to stay next month.

Carpet, bedspread, even curtains were dirty, worn, and stained. This nonsmoking room had been smoked in at some point — the smell remained. One of the bed frames was badly bent.The staff were wonderful, but that was the only good thing. This place is in need of a total refurbishment. It was definitely not worth the $116 we paid. This is the first bad result I’ve had from Expedia, but it was a doozie. We were celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary but the two beds in the room were doubles. We ended up sleeping apart.

Lady at checkin very friendly polite. Checkin was a breeze. Room extremely nice and roomy. Only suggestion I would bring my on pillow. The ones they had are really small. But definitely would stay there again.

The staff was extremely helpful. Kristen explained where our wedding was, gave us recommendations for eating and shopping. The hotel and our room was clean, the beds were firm and comfortable; however, the hotel is starting to show its age. Breakfast needs improvement. The business district, 5 to 10 minute drive, had many fast food restaurants and and basic stores. Ippy's Restaurant is next to the hotel, walk across the driveway.The food was excellent.

First time staying there, it was nice..

When we checked in the girl at the desk told us that the room we had would have a slight odor because they allow pets. I have two dogs so I figured how bad could it be? Well it was so bad That I couldn't stay there. There were no other king bed rooms so they put us in a room with two queen beds. When we got into this room it also had an odor but not to bad. I figured it was only over night so I stayed. For a Wyndham hotel I was very disappointed. I would not stay there again. The one good thing is that the staff was very nice.

Unfortunately the breakfast has gone down hill here. We have stayed here before but on this trip teh breakfast was really poor. It was not ready at 6:30am as announced. There was no coffee ready. The orange juice was very watery and teh apple juice tasted off. The gallon jug of milk in the refrig was 4 days past the expiration date. All of teh bread goods were nearly stale. This breakfast really needs to get improved. There was never enough coffee for everyone at breakfast.

Clean, very spacious room. Staff was wonderful. Rooms are very nice and WiFi worked great (many hotels advertise free WiFi but it hardly works) as well as advertised tv channels 😊 I would choose this hotel over any in this area.

Good overall experience. We've stayed here one night each month from July-September. Very well maintained and clean. Located well, close to anything you could want to do and good places to eat.

Dated, funky smell in room, two hair dryers and one didn’t work, the other one barely. Not much of a breakfast. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Breakfast caused intestinal disturbance - a nice parting gift. My advice : avoid the eggs! Only good things were the bed and allowed the dog for $35. Not worth the price!

We always stay there when we go to Rocky Mount. They also allow pets. My little dog isn’t scared when we stay there.

The pillows are little square pillows that are terrible. I had to get extra just to have more support. We stayed 3 nights. The first morning they did no housekeeping. The second morning when we left for the day especially asked the front desk to make sure we get our room service. The guy said no problem…. Well we came home that night and nothing was touched. We went down stairs to complain and to get more fresh towels and toilet paper. She handed us some and apologized for it not being down and she would come make/change the bedding, but there was no point now. We requested a late check out which is 12:30pm with the front desk. When our last morning came we had housekeeping knocking on our door and the front desk calling afterwards to find out why we haven’t left yet. I told her that we had a late check out and she told me oh she wasn’t left any notes. I explained to her the night before we requested it and that we say her write it down.

I booked a room for my kids and I. We decided sleeping in the car was better. First off the second floor smelled weird. Upon opening the room it was a heavy gross smell. Everything was dated and dirty. It was throw up on the carpet. There were dirty towels on the floor. The sheets had stains in them like alot .

The beds had stains on the sheets and bed covers. The floor had stains on the carpet and a cigarette butt under the desk. There were people up late partying by the pool one of the nights of our stay. When our room was cleaned, my clothes were touched/moved by housekeeping. After cleaning, no new towels were left but the front desk person was very nice and brought them to the room.

There were very few food options. There was an Applebees nearby and a steak hiuse

The sheets were dirty, used cigarette butts left in room, no hot water for showers (freezing cold!), dirty unsafe breakfast area.

Front desk was kind, the rooms were clean, the breakfast on the other hand wasn't as good as I thought. We ate the eggs and it made our stomach hurt. Overall it was alright.

This was our second time starting here and the staff was wonderful and courteous and the pool was nice and clean we would deff recommend anyone to come stay here u wouldn’t have any problems but just not wonting to leave

Staying here was okay. This hotel promotes hot breakfast but only serve coffee. There was a receptionist who constantly profiled and made my brother feel uncomfortable and tried to charge him for a room that was already reserved and payed for. Falsely accused him of smoking just because he had his window open because the room was stuffy and the air conditioner doesn't get as low as it should. House cleaning was amazing. They do have a gym and the pool doesn’t have any water in it.

Stay here anytime I'm in the area and never disappointed. Restaurant next door is great and no traffic noise to speak of.

Our room however was a different story. There was a noticeable odor as soon as we checked in. The bed pillows were the size of throw pillows. Never in my times of staying at a hotel have I seen bed pillows that small. The A/C unit was not working properly and did not cool our room at all. Fortunately the front desk staff did all they could at the time and provided us with a fan for our room. We were only there for one night so that helped.

Well priced and convenient

Short staffed. The person running the front counter is also mixing waffle mix. Asked for towel replacement but didn't get them until we went back to ask later. Only 3 tables and 8 chairs for breakfast-not acceptable. Also, not cleaned so quite nasty to eat at a table where everything is sticky. Absolutely no sugar free syrup, drinks, jelly, cereal.....not good for a diabetic. Waffle mix was empty, then not mixed well (likely because one person was doing everything. She was very nice but still alone from what I could tell. Will probably not even stay at a baymont ever again.

Always a good stay

Room was kind of gross as far as cleanliness. The bathroom was dirty and the sheets didn’t smell clean. On the positive side there was an excellent restaurant right next door in the same parking lot.

Everything was good. Until the room below heat/ac unit started up. The sound was very loud and my room floor vibrated. I didn't sleep that night. I did ask if they could check and see if they could fix the problem, but next night same thing. Hope that the get it fix for the next guest

My husband had stayed here twice prior and said it was okay. However, this time I went with him. There were cigarette burns in the carpet. The vanity wasn't clean. The worst part was taking an ICE COLD SHOWER in the morning. Unacceptable. We will be traveling often to the area, unfortunately this is convenient. Not sure if we will stay again, looking around.

Property, building and rooms are a complete dump. Room was filthy, all kind of hair in the sheets and blood stains on the bedspread from the previous people who stayed there. Had to change all the sheets out and remake the bed. Small couch in the room looked like it came out of the landfill all kinds of dirt and stains. People upstairs making all kinds of noise until 2AM in the morning. Saw people dealing drugs in the parking lot. Was the worst time and place I ever stayed at. Never again will I stay here. Spend your money elsewhere and find a better place this place needs to be shut down.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. My husband and I had no issues during our stay.

I liked that the parking lot was well lit and I was able to park my truck and utility trailer in a spot that I could see from my window. I will definitely keep this hotel in mind if I have to work in this area again.

I have stayed here often on visits to Rocky Mount. The hotel has gotten better in terms of customer service. The rooms could use some light maintenance and upgrade to paint and curtains. Overall the stay is good value for its price point.

I thought it is terrible that your company does not put soap or shampoo in the rooms. We had to go to cvs and buy travel size stuff.

I booked a suite. When we arrived, the firniture in the suite was ripped and dirty. You couldn't sit in in at all because it must have had pillows at one time on it. When you sat the back was so far away you were laying down. The lamp shades had holes in them and the body wash was mounted on the wall outside of the shower about 3 feet away. The refrigerator had pladtic peeling off it. The only good thing was that the beds were comfortable.

Front desk personnel had on pajamas, was unkempt. Coffee was cold, linen on bed was old. Pillow was atrocious.went down for breakfast at 08:30 and they ran out of food, had to wait about 20 minutes…as a Veteran I wouldn’t stay or recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Very good value for the price

Standard motel favored by workers and folks traveling on a budget. Easy check-in and very friendly staff! Our room was on the second floor near the stairs, which was perfect for traveling with our dog. Comfortable room. Good water pressure in shower. Breakfast options were somewhat limited but they had good coffee.

The property was fine. However, the parent company (Wyndham) has directed all Baymont properties to remove all coffee makers, drinking glasses, and ice containers, from all rooms! What do you use to take medicines or calm a dry cough? In my consumer opinion, a poor decision on their part to save buck.! Time to boycott Wyndham!

I stayed at the Baymont for a friends wedding that was very near by which is why I chose this hotel. I wasn’t expecting fancy by any means but I was immediately greeted with the front desk Laurie, who was shaking her head at me upon walking in and says “I see your ride left”.. like my Uber was supposed to hang out with me all day?? My flight got in at 12. She tells me check in isn’t until 3, giving me attitude, answers 2 personal phone calls while I’m standing there, and thankfully she’s able to get me a room early. That was appreciated, however the room reeked of cigarette smoke so bad I had to get air fresheners just to tolerate the smell for 2 days. I was worried my clothes would stink. I wouldn’t stay here again. I had a couple of other guests staying here as well for the wedding and their rooms didn’t smell as bad as mine, so it may not all smell.

****BEDBUGS******Worst Hotel I have ever set foot in. This place should be condemned. Please look into another Hotel and not risk getting bedbugs. When I walked in to our room which was 217 there were blood stains on sheets, pillows, the walls and the room kept getting worse as I looked under the cushions of the couch and the bed and etc….the employee showed me another room and it was just as dirty . He said the owner would refund me in the morning so I left and went to the Holiday Inn which I definitely recommend . The next day I called about my refund and the rude woman said they had me on camera in the hotel room going through it for ten minutes and finding no bed bugs so they would no let be refunding me. I do question how they had me on camera … do they have secret cameras in the rooms? I decided to go down to the hotel and see if I could find the owner so I could get my refund as promised before. Upon entering the hotel I started recording with one phone and tried to show the lady at the desk the video of the night employee saying I would get a refund however she said it doesn’t matter what he says he ain’t the owner. The owner finally came out and after arguing with me he said he would refund me but I’d have to contact the third party I book through so I did . Then the owner told them he would not be refunding me so he lied on video .Finally after threatening to sue the owner he issued the refund. Good for him because I was so ready to go to court over this. *BEDBUGS*

Kristen the front desk lady was friendly and knowledgeable. Restaurant a stones throw across the parking lot had good food.

The lady at check-in was very friendly. The check-in process was seamless. Parking is limited in the front and on the side of the hotel. But the parking lot is very well lit. This is my second stay at this location. The hotel quality appeared better this time. The room was clean and spacious.

They claimed that they couldn’t change the card used to pay even though when I booked the room I chose the option to pay at the hotel. Then our sheets were dirty! We had to call the front desk to get clean sheets. Needless to say we were not pleased and will not be returning to this establishment.

Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in hadn’t been updated or refurbished in a long time. The curtains wouldn’t close, and there was a bright light in the parking lot that shined into the room all night. There was a 3 inch square cut out of the carpet, right between the two beds. All the pillows on both beds were small square throw pillows.

If you care at all about cleanliness, avoid at all cost. I made the mistake of booking without thoroughly vetting the reviews, given that there just aren’t many options for accommodations in this area. Between the dirty bed linens (hair, mildewed black spots) and dirty bathroom we opted to leave five minutes after check-in and just keep driving.

This motel is clean, friendly, the room space is generous.
