The Jacuzzi tub was massive. I had no idea. It was going to be that big. Room was clean. The bed felt great and the pillows were fantastic too.

Ashley, the front desk clerk was amazing. She was so friendly and helpful. My room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

Breakfast was nice. Room was clean. They put us in room 101 and it seemed a little like staying in a basement, idk if it was humid or musty. But other than that, the bed was nice and room was big. shower had good pressure and was hot! No real complaints!

Breakfast was good. My husband had celiac and there was plenty to eat. He ate from the hot bar but there were hard boiled eggs and yogurt cups.

Be forewarned , Rocky Mount has no public transportation and almost no Uber/Lift services. The hotel is 3+ hilly miles from the Harvester and downtown eateries and also has no shuttle services so you have to drive everywhere.

Only frustration was our room key had to constantly be fixed because it would not unlock our room, we had to get it fixed about 4 times.

couldn't get the tv to work! The room's phone was dead! To had to go to front desk to get the help we needed. The TV was easily fixed , but the phone remained dead the day we left. The cost for the two rooms seemed very high(over $450 for two days) We were attending a funeral for my sister, so it was good to be close.

If somebody’s booking two rooms the property should realize they need to be on the same floor at least then one of our rooms had a constant beeping noise that we could not figure out, and when I brought that to the manager‘s attention, I was told by stay would be taken care of by the Holiday Inn, and now they have gone back on their word and will not be crediting me for my stay. The rooms were very dirty, dust and dead bugs around the beds. No exhaust fans in the bathrooms, most of the outlets did not work making it difficult to charge our devices.

It just needs an upgrade overall.

The property itself is great. Staff couldn't be any friendlier. I had the Jacuzzi room. Very comfortable with the extra space. Water could have been slightly warmer for the tub. Shower was hothot. A few random hairs in the tub that could have been addressed but overall would stay again.

Pigeons perched and living on the window sill. So there was poop and feathers everywhere. People beside us were loud all night and smoking marijuana. Bad experience all around.

Overall a good stay we just had the room above us with kids that were loud all night even after asking the front desk to let them know.

The door to the room was a Lil hard to open and go through in a wheelchair because of door closure. But I made due.

Good location near the event we were attending. Great room. East facing but more than adequate window dressing to keep the room dark in the am. Relatively quiet heat/ac unit when compared to other rooms of a similar price profile. Will stay here again the next time we attend a concert at The Harvester

The rooms, customer services and we enjoyed breakfast all great.

The only negatives were a bit of noise from truck parking and the shower being lukewarm in the evening . It was clean with good variety at breakfast. The fresh ground coffee was very nice. Super friendly and helpful staff.

Staff is always great! We stay here every year when we travel home to visit family. Rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable, local and convenient to everything. Amenities are better than average hotel this size. Price is fair for the quality. We will continue making this our main stay when we travel to Rocky Mount.

Was staying there on way to visit a relative that was dying from cancer. He became too sick to visit at the last minute. Tried to cancel and get my money back but the hotel wouldn't make any exceptions to the no refund rule. So we didn't stay there and will never stay there. I'm sure there are other hotels in the area. Kinda heartless thing to do considering the circumstances.

My stay got cancelled due to weather. My event was canceĺed. I was over half way there and turned around and went home. I called the hotel staff and told them i needed to cancel on Dec 08 but unfortunately i still got charged 1 night.

Clean quiet and very friendly

We have stayed at many hotels in this area of Virginia. This hotel wins the prize as the best!!! We reserved the room that offered extra space. This was a fantastic hotel room! Great if you are traveling with kids. I loved the shower head--it has like a rain forest rain option--was awesome! The room had a very modern and efficient decor --with everyhting you needed--coffee maker,refrig, microwave, and extra kitchen sink. We loved the steamy indoor pool room with a great hot tub!!! You could turn up the heat in the swimming pool. :) Hotel was very clean everywhere. This was the best hotel breakfast we've had in years!!!!!! Very well done! SUPER friendly and helpful staff!!! We will stay there again!

The front desk checked someone else into my room and charged my credit card. When they arrive they could not find my reservation or my name. They finally gave me a room and said to check back in the morning. In the morning my credit card was still attached to a room I did not stay in. The morning attendant said the manager would be in and would solve everything. They had my email and phone number. 14 hours later I still have heard NOTHING.

I was DJ'ing a wedding outside of Rocky Mount — but I would recommend this beautiful mountainous area to any traveler who wants a little respite from the city. The hotel is very nice — clean and well maintained, with a friendly and helpful staff. I never got opportunity to use the swimming pool, but the complimentary breakfast was good — and the availability of coffee at any hour was especially appreciated.

The front desk was very helpful Nd hotel is clean. I had reaerved a room with 2 queens but was given a king bed room. They saw my reservation but said the queens were all booked, though those rooms had not been checked in yet. Glad i knew my travel partner well.

The room I was placed in was right beside the lobby and very noisy.

Upon arrival the room is indeed Booked, yet My credit card or Hotels.com Virtual card is not on attached to the reservation. Luckily the staff called their manager and made the necessary adjustment bu manually attaching said virtual card to my reservation. This delayed checking in after a long day of fun and driving. Not Impressed with Hotels.com platform.

It was great for what we were looking for. Our tv didn’t work and they sent someone up right away. The pool was a little chilly for my liking however my kid liked it

Very clean. Loved having coffee accessible at the coffee bar 24/7. My only disappointment was that the pool wasn't heated and the sauna was way too hot.

Rooms need thicker carpet. The guests above us were too loud.

Convenient location. Appears to be a new hotel. Everything clean and quiet. Oh!! I particularly appreciated that I could control the fan AND there was a blind to completely block out sunlight.

Was quite disappointed that the "biscuits and gravy" advertised at check in, which I've enjoyed on prior visits, did not include gravy. When we inquired, one of the front desk employees stated that "I guess she didn't make the gravy," but to my knowledge did not check with whomever was in food service. It was about 7:45 am.

Cheryl who was working the front desk that evening was excellent and worked with us as we needed to change/add a reservation. So grateful for her professionalism, kindness and willingness to listen and address my questions. Hotel breakfast was wonderful. Our stay was excellent.

Quick weekend trip with family to go house hunting. Very clean rooms. Great breakfast that is included.

My stay was brief, and uneventful. The check in process was seamless, and I appreciated the professionalism and kindness of the check in clerk.

We stay here every year while visiting family in the area. Nick at the front desk was super helpful when we had Wi-Fi trouble with our phones. Breakfast is always top notch and they really stay on top of keeping it stocked. Only issue was an upstairs neighbor stomping, not casually walking, across the floor continuously. Not the hotel’ fault though.

Good night stay, remodeling was paused so no problem with construction noise, had room on back side of hotel so no road noise, breakfast was very good with options, our room was recently, would stay here again

Mens pool bathroom looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in a month. 4 empty rolls of toilet paper and trash was overflowing onto the floor. We are IGH members and did the late checkout. About every 30 minutes housekeeping was at the door. Told them what time we were leaving and still continued to come to the door. The upgraded room was nice and the ac was great

This property is currently under renovation. This should be #1 in the listing description. When we arrived exhausted and after 3pm, we were advised there were NO rooms available at this time, "we made our reservation 24hrs in advance" Finally we were placed in rm#318 on the same floor as the tile workers using very loud cutting equipment. The dust was choking thic, eyes were burning and my Registered Service Animal was sneezing continuously. We were offered a replacement that would be ready in 30 mins ? We electric to tough it out after 30 mins and no notification of any room been readied! Next morning we were awakened by a construction worker pounding a bucket with a hammer at the hallway end. It was horrific for both of us, no rest, no compensation, no we won't be back. This property is a poor reflection of the IHG group. At least stop expecting people to adhere to the environment and hazards a d close that floor until completely renovated and cleaning has been addressed ? Or expect more negative comments from paying customers!

The TV did not work, the AC unit was extremely loud and the house cleaner walked into our room without knocking during the early morning. Work was being done in the hotel but a lot more could be done.

This hotel is on a noisy highway and our room faced that highway. The traffic was loud and we needed earplugs in order to sleep. The king sized bed was comfortable and we had a jacuzzi in the room, which was great. The hotel is a short walk to Starbucks so we had good coffee in the morning. Our room was clean. The hotel is being refurbished so once the work is finished it should be an improvement. The hotel needs thick, double glazed windows on the highway side cut down on the loud traffic noise. Overall, a decent stay.

We enjoyed our 2-night stay here. The rooms were comfortable, except for the temperature, which seemed inconsistent, and we needed to adjust often. The breakfast was delicious, and the employees were very helpful. I would stay here again.

Reds more remodeling in bathroom

We chose this hotel based on ratings on hotel.com. This is a more rural area so we didn't expect a 5 star hotel. The staff were all friendly and courteous. And the breakfast was pretty good but that's about it. The room was reasonable updated but my wife was bitten by something and we had pillows with blood stains on them. The pool was heated but you could tell the chemicals were off because the water was cloudy. Both the pool and the hot tub looked dingy in general. Overall if I had one word to describe this hotel I would probably say "ick".

construction dirt and debris; footprints from construction dust everywhere - even in "clean" rooms; dirty footprint in bathtub. Saw bedbug in one of the rooms we rented. Receive partial refund only and only after making a fuss. Should have been more. Desk staff wasn't concerned and hard to get action on it.

The room was very comfortable and the breakfast bar was great.

I booked for 4 nights & was never made aware the elevator was inoperable. My luggage is 40 lbs & the only room they had available was on the 3rd floor. Not ADA compliant at all!

Property was under construction..

The room was nice and clean. The bathroom looked to have been recently updated. The front desk staff was helpful and very friendly. My only complaint is the noise level. The elevator was currently out of order and we were placed on the first level around the corner from the breakfast area and beside the stairs. After traveling and being tired, I was hoping for a good nights sleep. There was a large group of people who stayed out in the breakfast area talking and laughing until about 1:00am. We could hear people running up the stairs and the outside door slamming multiple times in the night. Needless to say, we did not get a great nights sleep but it wasn’t because of the hotel condition. It had more to do with the location of the room.

My stay was nice and relaxing

I made a reservation through Hotels.com on September 27, 2023 for a stay on Thursday, February 1, 2024. At first, it appeared that we were staying in a very nice hotel. However, when we arrived on the 3rd floor, there was construction going on in part of the hallway. Our room was located smack-dab in the middle of the construction. The room was nice, but I would have expected advance notice about the construction, assignment to a room in a different location outside the construction, or a significant discount.

Our stay here was good!! The breakfast wasn’t the best. Pancake maker worked one day and then was out of order. Maybe a different meat offered besides sausage every day would have been good. I think all guest should have been told they would be doing construction ahead of time. One day the water was off for a few hours starting at 11am. They hung a sign on the elevator door the night before. Slight inconvenience since that was the day we were going to the pool and had to wait to shower. The pool was great though! Everyone there was very nice as well!

I was disappointed with the cleanliness of my room since this has not been a problem in the past. This stay was during the Christmas holiday and the staff maintenance did not enter the room to empty the garbage, change the towels or make up the beds. I personally had to do these chores myself. The hotel is under renovation but that was not an issue with me because it will be an upgrade on appearance and comfort. I just don't like to work for my hotel stay.

The staff and manager were awesome. They had maybe the best breakfast ever. But, but…yes, this is a BIG one. They are replacing pipes and have one side of every floor in heavy construction. The elevator had dry wall dust everyone, plastic protector everywhere. They are booking rooms right next to all that so early and til 7 pm, you get to hear and smell construction. They really should have shut down for this to be completed. It is not the staff’s fault but again, would ask about this project before booking a room.

We’ve stayed here many time. We keep coming back. That says it all.

Property itself was nice and in a decent location. However it was not a goodnight sleep. Someone was vaping in their room at 2am setting off smoke alarms. Then I was harassed over the phone by front desk and other guest between 2-4am repeatedly claiming we were running around our room. We had been rodeoing all day and alseep by 11pm. No one was running on our floor except when we were startled from our sleep.

Tired hotel, plastic hanging in lobby, front desk clerk was not helpful, elevator was very unreliable so I took stairs, fell up stairs carrying luggage, couldn’t find ice machine, tried to order dinner, not one delivery service would deliver so I did curbside delivery at Applebees across the street. One hour late, forgot some items, whole experience was a DISASTER

Everyone was so nice. They gave me extra time to check out. They were so kind and considerate to my daughters and I. We had brought my wife of 62yrs back home to her final resting place. Thanks so very much
