DoubleTree by Hilton Los Angeles - Rosemead

While checking in I wasn't advised of anything simply grabbed my card and gave me my room keys. I had to be proactive and ask about parking since I saw the QR code. Although the stay did not include breakfast they didn't even explain how breakfast, lunch or dinner worked/costs and times. Yes they had a QR code to scan at the room but I feel that providing that to your guest upon check in is essential hospitality. Check out was exactly the same experience simply grabbed my key and said your all set, didn't even ask how was your stay. Housekeeping only goes if you request it (I was there 4 nights and housekeeping never went even to check if we had toilet paper left). Body wash was empty on our first night I had to ask a housekeeper in the hallway for some. As someone who had very little time to be in the room/ hotel other than at night it would be nice to have housekeeping checking the room at least for essentials on the daily. Overall very disappointed with the hospital provided here.

Property older but Ok. AC was not working when we first got in 7:45pm. Missed a reservation waiting for maintenance. Then 1240 midnight the AC gives out again. Called front desk was told there was nothing they could do, said best choice was to get another hotel and they would refund me. THIS WAS AT @ ONE IN THE MORNING... Horrible.

Very clean rooms, carpet in hallway is impressively clean. Does not show any signs of aging even it’s a 25-30 years hotel. Room size is spacious. Just wish the front counter staff could be a bit friendlier.

The property is clean and the staff very helpful. Unfortunately, breakfast is not complimentary although some drinks are. However, my stay was interrupted by unruly guests who were seemingly using the hotel as a party venue.

room: shower knob was difficult to adjust, first room we stayed had a crack collar, hot water takes awhile to come on, carpet looks run down and dirty , first room carpet was wet, ceiling tiles above ac has water damage (must be leak or condensation build up). Hotel itself: accessing the rooms from lobby area is inconvenient. lack of directions made it so the "easiest way" to get to the rooms was to go outside the hotel walk around to go back in in. Parking was more annoying now having to use a secondary app. was confused w/ policy about property being "closed" at 10pm so if entering after that time would incurr penalty/ticket?

Based on the price we paid for 2 nights I expected to have a clean and updated room. However I was very disappointed with the very outdated restroom and cabinets. I would not stay here again only based on the hotel being outdated for the price and not as clean as I would’ve liked to. Maybe have the rooms a little cleaner and upgrade some details throughout the room. This hotel can use some upgrades overall. The location was the only positive factor.

The AC in our room was not working. It was 80F all night and I couldn't sleep. The room also had a musty odor. The staff is extremely friendly though so I did appreciate that.

Good hotel in a good location. Had some issues with our room reserved, they had a machine working when we arrived also the side didn’t worked. They gave us a suite instead (thank you for that) but it took like 30 min to change to the other room.

If you book with a 3rd party they put you in designates/ old rooms they have a special name they call these rooms. it Heard Gunshots at night witha 20 min pause then heard a semiautomatic gun. The curtins were dirty the window was blurry from hard water stains and all I caw was the top of the roof and ac ducts. Stay on the top floor I had someone above me banging around on the floor all night front desk didnt so much I eneded uo packing up and leaving in the middle if the night. Hotel lookwd beautiful outside ans downstairs but the condition of my room gave Motel.

Also, there’s a separate fee if you want to park in their lot. It’s handled by a third-party, not the hotel itself, which was a bit surprising for LA, but maybe that’s pretty common now. The hotel itself feels a bit dated, but overall, it’s a good place to stay.

Room was good until the banquet hall under us had a live band blasted music until midnight. Whatever you do don’t stay on the 3rd floor (which is actually the second floor). Upon check in we requested more towels and those never came. They gave us 2 towels for four people. We stayed for 3 nights and the maids never came in to empty trash or restock towels. I was really excited for this location but service and peacefulness fell very short. I contacted the property to try and talk about our stay but was never contacted back. I’m not surprised.

Broken ice machine, broken pool gate, discrepancy in hours for pool listed inside and outside pool area, broken jets on jacuzzi, wifi did not function, TV in room did not work.

The grounds are beautiful, and the lobby is well-maintained with Christmas trees. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. However, the room is far too old and has an unpleasant smell. The bed and sheets are worn out, and the ceiling is stained. The toilet is low to the ground and very old, making it difficult to flush and when you do the noise is similar with a plane taking off. The sink faucet was with buildup. I slept dressed because I couldn’t stand those old sheets, also I could see through the gap between the door and wall. I would never stay again, but I might consider it if the room is completely renovated.

The person who checked me in was unpleasant. Had to pay to park. The heater in the room only blew cold air! Didn’t offer to help with my luggage. The room was as far down the hall you could go. I’m a older woman.

Room was old, had a smell like old wet carpet except nothing was wet, so who knows where the smell is from. The bathroom had a running toilet that would not stop flushing, had to call fron desk (engineer is what they called them) to come out and deal with it. The beds are old and mattress needs to be replaced. Parking is $10 per day, it used to be free a few years ago. This place is in need of a remodel.

The pictures are not updated and the staff will treat you like you're stupid when you don't notice the decor and will shame you for it. They kept saying it was an Expedia issue and refused to help. If i could give them zero stars i would.

The room was however not clean - on the edges of the carpet you can see the dirt lining the room. 323 I felt the floor was dirty from seeing the dust piled up on the edges. The room view was also horrible. Looking out you saw these huge vents of the hotel. I know it was a very busy weekend but I was glad not to stay longer tha 2 days

The front desk staff was not very welcoming. They were not rude, they were not very engaging. The clerk who checked me in just gave me my key, took my card, told me what room I was in, but didn't even take the time to tell me how to get to my room. He did tell the person behind me though how to get to hers....maybe i didn't seem important enough to mention that sort of detail to me??. The reason this is important is because the hotel is a little weird to get around. The parking is all on one side and you can't drive up to or near where your room might be. Also, when I requested a late check out, he gave me a snarky remark about it being a holiday week. I was also really disappointed with the breakfast option. We paid additional money in advance for breakfast. The foods was cold, it was not replenished and the variety was not great. The toilet in our room was very low to the ground and my 6'2" husband (with very long legs) struggled. It also had very little pressure when flushed.....so you would have to BEND DOWN to flush....then sit there and hold the knob down. The bed was TERRIBLE! The frame velt very flimsy like it might collapse at any moment.The matress itself was lumpy in places. We were in town for funeral and were hoping to have a place for some rest....Sadly this was not the case.

The first lady at the front desk could’ve been nicer when I asked her if early check in was available. The gentleman who checked me in was very polite and accommodating. When I arrived to my room late at night, I noticed the AC in my room wasn’t working. I had to sleep in a hot room because my infant was already asleep and I figured nobody would come fix my AC at 10pm at night.

I had been live 3 nights before in different hotels. This one is the worst breakfast. If you want charge more for breakfast, it is Ok, but we need more variety. It not qualify with Hilton this name brand.

Rude, condescending staff. Didn't care that I was a Hilton Honors member. Didn't want to help in any way and wouldn't extend a 15 minute late checkout. Most rude staff of any Hilton I've stayed at. Sunday brunch was $36 for mediocre food.

Attended a wedding ceremony here, boiling in the same cavity was convenient. Staff is great. We were great by a lovely young lady. Easy parking. Easy for my make up artist,as well. Great over all. 5 min walk to the mall.

Parking was horrible. They had events there at the property and did not reserve any parking spots for hotel guests who paid the parking fee. There was also no bell hop service nor valet parking. Very disappointing if you have stayed at other Double Tree hotels.

The hotel itself is ok (a bit dated but ok). Hotel does not follow through on promised refunds as housekeeping kicked our children out of the room and locked them out 3 hours before checkout whilst parents were downstairs getting coffee. Tried to resolve with management. It has been 3 weeks since the stay and no action has been followed through on. The lack of integrity at this hotel means I cannot recommend it.

The stay was not bad, I’m just bummed that I had to leave early. At around 11 pm there was an alarm system that went off regarding a fire that was reported in the building. Ok my way out I grabbed my bag and decided to leave since I had my things and wasn’t sure how long it would be until we were let back in. The person at the counter wasn’t sure either. So I checked out right then.

During our stay, we had a customer service representative from the hotel text me a few times to check in and see if we needed anything. That was super awesome. I would say everything abt it was fantastic, the only down side was in our 4 days we never had our room cleaned by the hotel, but maybe that was my fault and I didn’t put a sign or something. The phone in the room didn’t work, and the door in the bathroom didn’t shut…it seemed that the hinges were broken.

Worst stay ever locked out of my room for over 1hr at 3 am because the door did not have charge or batteries … and no staff was around and the security guard did not know where anything was at to let me in my room

Would like to see more EV chargers. Parking was scarce on Saturday and people were parking gas cars in the only 2 EV spots.

One staff member even provided the main lobby with entertainment. He walked into a glass door causing him to drop his drink and almost falling back. He was fine. Didn’t get hurt. Just embarrassed!! We all had a good laugh.

This is our second stay at this hotel. Mostly due to location. However it does have several ballrooms and quite busy. I do think the hotel rooms need to be remodeled and replace furniture with new updated models.

For a one night stay it was very convenient. Check in was easy and we also had the option to check in online. Parking was not so great due to a back to school event. The other issue was that there was a leak from the ceiling along with a burning smell that started around 1 am, so we had to change rooms late at night, 2 hours before we checked out early that morning. That was the only compensation for the disruption. Notes were left for manager, but didn't receive any communication in regards to that issue. Otherwise, every thing was pleasant.

Overall stay was great. Location was perfect for our trip. There were a few things that could of been better but they are not big.

The ceiling look like it was damaged and was going to fall at the entrance of the room. The shampoo conditioner bottles were empty that were in the shower requested new towels did not receive them.. check in time with 3 PM. Arrived at 2:30 told that the room would be ready by three returned at 3:25 room was still not ready. Room is ready about 4 PM. Had to sit in the waiting room. Tell room was ready with luggage and all.

The room was uncomfortable due to the owner obviously turning off the AC at night. My room was 78-80 degrees and there was no way to turn on the AC. Then i notice in the morning that it kicks back on which leads me to believe you guys shut it off probably to save money. Then the wondows dont open. This is just bad for busoness if you ask me. I own airbnbs and i know saving cost is a thing, but this is a basic necessity you shouldnt be cheap about.

I booked 2 rooms one of the rooms had a sewered smell to the room as soon as you open the room door. Told front desk but it didn’t look like anyone went to the room to check it out. Room looked a little run down and it was a bit dirty. Housed us for the time we were in town but I would not stay again.

The location was good especially for Disney and Universal trips. My room unfortunately had previous repairs on the ceiling and could have better touch up painting. Overall, great place, good pool, good food, and the staff was great.

This is more like a MOTEL not a hotel, the head boards were so ghetto and ripped up, slow service waited hours just to get towels sent to us I even offered to go to the front desk but they said the towels were not ready, I checked in online for 4 people and there were only two towels, when I first got there they said the two beds weren’t booked on their end so there was a delay to get me my room of two beds that showed on my end via Expedia app I even paid more for this room because of my kids. The shower head was also rusted and could use some wiping down. But I was so appalled how they have not replaced the head boards I felt like I paid more than what I got I should have just went back to Marriott but this was a last minute decision and I believed the 1-2 reviews I quickly looked at so now I’ll do my due diligence and read the reviews.

Then, the day before, I sent a reminder, and someone from the hotel told me that the room we booked didn't have a sofa bed. So, why did they confirm they would set up a sofa bed?!? I asked whether they could put in a roll away bed and make the bed before we arrived. Again, we were told they would make sure everything would be set up before our arrival. We arrived at 10:30 at night, and NOTHING was set up. Not the roll away bed, no extra towels for our son, not even fresh linens. We were given a stack of towels to take to our room like we were staying at a hostel. On top of that, the “buffet” breakfast consisting of 5 items is a joke, and the service was non-existent. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

My wife found a dirty sock in our room and our shower was steaming, scolding hot. We ask for service and he couldn't figure it out and so we had to deal with it.

Had a great stay. Hotel was great. Only had one issue when I asked the front desk if we could check out late. They agreed but didn't relay the message to whoever took over the shift. We got a very unpleasant call about an hour later from a different person at the front threatening to upcharge us if we didn't leave in 5 minutes. I explained the situation and they cooled off but nevertheless the phone call was extremely unprofessional.

The only thing that I was not too happy about was the fact that to get to our room, we literally had to walk far. We almost went around the whole hotel.

There was mold in the ice machine and the pool was so dirty and gross couldn’t even swim in it. The room was dusty and dated. The staff just kept giving me the run around. The mold is a huge safety issues so upon check in have them check with you. I will never stay here again

The room was old. The hot water for the shower takes a long time to warm up. Two drawers on the dresser would not close, it always kept opening. There was a lot of noise from the parties. Parking was hard at night.

Room was clean, comfortable and located near the freeway and walking distance to the mall. Receptionist were so friendly and the warm cookies really hit the spot.

Location is good quiet . Closed to everything. Overall good stay.

The staff was great, the rooms need some updating and the shower took a long time to heat up. Front desk and housekeeping were very responsive to request for towels and being friendly checking in and out.

The room’s facilities are a bit outdated. The ventilation fan and air conditioner are very noisy, and there is water dripping from the ceiling.

I didnt like the fact that front desk and all the rooms where in separate building. I had to walk all the way to another building to get to my room. The toilet flushing was terrible, its not strong enough on flushing and all it did was slowly swirling, same with the second room but i just gave up because by that time its obviously all the toilets are like that. Hotel is close to everything that the nice part, but i wouldnt stay here a second time. Its was ok only.

The first room was not properly cleaned. The rug had food that hardened. So they gave us another room. It was clean but the bed was way to soft, concaved in, and not firm. The airconditioner ran out of freon and stopped cooling the room. They were quick to get a technician out and fix it. The airconditioner was so loud! I could not sleep with it clicking on and off loudy and constantly waking me up. Not an ideal stay but they tried. Needless to say, I think I will skip staying there again.

Convenient location, restaurants within walking distance, a mall across the street.

The front desk and the engineer who helped us was extremely courteous and welcoming.
