Reviews
The hotel is generally praised for its cleanliness, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. However, some guests have expressed concerns about the surrounding area, which is often described as sketchy due to the presence of homeless people. Breakfast is a common topic, with some guests appreciating the variety, while others find it lacking in healthy options.

Great location and check in was easy and fast, rooms were clean and quiet. Breakfast was decent too.
- 3/5
The room and hotel interior were OK - basic and clean - but could definitely use a refresh. Only one staff at the front, so check-in took a while. Room was quiet, but A/C was too loud to run at night and bathroom fan wasn’t working. Breakfast was complimentary, but no good options.
- 5/5
Staff, room, breakfast all great for this class of hotel
- 4/5
Overall it was good the only thing not so good was the bed. It was very high and very difficult to get into. Comfortable once in but for someone with chronic pain very difficult to use. Staff was kind and helpful with our shuttle needs to and from airport.
- 4/5
Room was very clean, but with a little of dust smell. WiFi was not stable. Breakfast was good, especially the Waffle, but coffee was not good, tasted like instant coffee.
- 5/5
We stayed at Governor’s Inn because we were attending our daughter’s graduation. It was very close to Golden One Center. The hotel was very clean and I was pleasantly surprised that the breakfast was more than just a danish. There was something for everyone. I wish we could have enjoyed the pool but we ran out of time. I would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Overall everything is good
- 3/5
This is one of the worst neighborhoods I’ve stayed in my fifty years of travel. I chose it due being close to I-5. There are homeless and drug addicts everywhere. The McDonalds next door customers are 99% homeless. Scary. The hotel its self was fine just out dated.
- 5/5
Good supporting staff
- 5/5
The wait for the airport shuttle was over an hour! Not convenient at all.
- 5/5
Maintained felt right at home
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay… This hotel does not look like an institution, which is so often the case these days!
- 4/5
Great location
- 5/5
One of my favorites.
- 4/5
It was decent
- 4/5
Friendly courteous staff very clean facility easy access to restaurants and down town areas.
- 5/5
Breakfast was also very good with a nice variety of options
- 5/5
Staff was extremely helpful in getting me booked same day. Welcoming me with information about my stay. Conversation was like we already knew each with no prejudice looks feelings or attitude. All good intentions from every one I came across made me feel safe and my vehicle was protected. Expecting to come back. Thankyou ❤️
- 5/5
Hotel was very good. It was clean, the breakfast was great, the staff was helpful. Parking was easy and free. Only caveat might be that the surrounding neighborhood is sketchy.
- 5/5
Staff is friendly and efficient. Check in and check out was quick and the breakfast staff was on top of service.
- 5/5
Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and there were lots of great breakfast options.
- 3/5
Photos did not match the property. Inside was fine, though outdated, but the back parking lot gave strong ick vibes. Not in a safe part of town, so would not recommend.
- 5/5
We had trouble with the WiFi signal in the first room we were given but the hotel gave us another room were the WiFi was good. The hotel is great but is in an area with quite a few homeless people but I did not feel unsafe at any time. The pool is quite small. We would stay there again as although the review may seem negative, it's a nice hotel in convenient location. A tip... There is a barrier in the middle of the road, so you can't turn left, in or out of the property but if go in or out through McDonald's it can be done. I didn't take a photo but if you look on Google maps you'll get the idea!
- 4/5
Safe property! Close to the train station so I was able to take the shuttle to the station!
- 5/5
Best breakfast bar ever very fresh and plentiful
- 5/5
The staff is really nice
- 1/5
The room was clean but the up keep on big things should be better kept up with our door had to he slammed to fully close and even then we only got it to close once.
- 5/5
Clear room
- 4/5
The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. It would be good if two hand towels were provided for a two person room.
- 5/5
Excellent location. Gentleman at front desk was efficient and helpful. Loved being close to the freeway for easy access.
- 5/5
The pool and Jacuzzi are very clean and the rooms are very homey with limited traffic noise. Staff are very friendly.
- 5/5
Loved everything about this place. Located in a rough part of town but once you step in the lobby you’re well taken care of. Comfy beds, everything was so clean.
- 5/5
Our stay was 10/10! The room itself was spacious and very clean. My husband unfortunately ended up getting sick the morning of our check out and I communicated to the hotel if we could pay for a later check out time. The front desk was extremely gracious and went above and beyond in helping us with some more time for a fee per hour. They communicated everything well when checking out and the customer service went above and beyond, I’ll always recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice stay near downtown Sac!
- 4/5
Good Continental Breakfast. Very competitive room rate/price. Good value for the price.
- 5/5
Always a pleasure to stay here
- 5/5
Great stay for families
- 5/5
Very friendly staff. clean room good experience.
- 5/5
I gave stayed here on multiple occasions and come back for the comfort and great value! Rooms are clean and a good size. Breakfast is always a very nice variety
- 5/5
The staff is very kind and helpful. The breakfast is really good and the lady in charge of the cafeteria is very nice too. Definitely, I would recommend it.
- 4/5
Fast admission Friendly staff and very smiley Breakfast multiple choices A++++
- 5/5
Brook was amazing! She remembered us staying there before. So hospitable!
- 3.5/5
Staff was nice, room was clean. Budget friendly Location
- 5/5
The rooms were comfortable and clean. I loved the pool and the jacuzzi. Overall it was a great experience.
- 5/5
Decor a little dated, but very clean. Pillows could use updating. Bad part of town with lots of homeless around, but I didn't see any on the property so seemed safe. Staff was amazing. The lady that hosted breakfast was fantastic, greeting everyone, even making waffles for the guests, guiding everyone to the espresso machine. Breakfast area was very clean with good food options including fresh fruit and non dairy milks. Awesome self parking included with no 20 minutes waits for valet. Not far from most points of interest of Sacramento.
- 2/5
AC was very loud. Sheets were too small for bed.
- 5/5
I have no complaints
- 5/5
Our room was very clean always have alot of parking, the continental breakfast would be nice if they had eggs and sausage to go with them waffles. The employees are helpful in the dining room
- 5/5
👏
- 5/5
The hotel room was great. All the staff were very professional and extremely friendly. We would definitely recommend staying at the Dayton hotel to anyone visiting the area.
- 4/5
Overall the stay was pleasant. We only stayed one night, but breakfast was adequate and everything was clean. Staff was very friendly. Parking is free.
- 5/5
Hidden gem. We had been driving for 13 hours and they upgraded us. Great spot and easy to find.
- 5/5
The Hotel offers free shuttle to the airport. However, it doesn't start running until 6:30 am and if you have an early flight like I did there is insufficient to get to the airport for checking in, going through security and arriving at assigned gate without have to run. Need the shuttle to start earlier.
- 2/5
Never stay here. Bad customer service and the bed was awful and a bad neighborhood.
- 5/5
The front staff were very welcoming. The lady in the breakfast room was extremely kind and friendly. The rooms were larger than I expected, very clean, but slightly dated. This does not bother me and I’d easily stay there again.
- 4/5
The room was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful, the receptionist was very nice and also the lady who served breakfast on Sunday ? Everything was good , the only problem I had was the fan and the coffee maker wasn’t working and beds are too high .
- 5/5
Too many selection when it comes to breakfast everything tastes good. Nothing
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay. Very clean rooms and facilities.
- 4/5
Room was clean. Staff were polite and helpful. The airport shuttle cost $10.00 extra if you use it outside their normal operating hours.
- 4/5
The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast room attendant was cheerful and helpful. A true delight. The breakfast room is lacking. Only a waffle maker, 2 cereal choices, and pre-packaged options. The most disgusting hard-boiled eggs I've ever had.
- 5/5
We truly enjoyed our stay at the GOV! Exceptional service! Thank U Brooke, breakfast crew, shuttle service crew, & cleaning crew!! Me & my wife will definitely be back. All the way from Ohio, We Thank You!
- 2.5/5
Coffee machine in the room does not clean
- 0.5/5
Check in The location surrounded by homeless and guys riding there bicycles in the parking lot checking out cars. Noisy rooms. My bed shook every time someone closed their door. Night staff was not professional. After it became clear that I couldn't stay in the noisy room and that I was concerned about my car being broken into, I came to the front desk to check out and inform the front staff that I would like the manager to contact me regarding my stay. The front staff person was busy talking with a friend at the counter and was not about to engage with me. After waiting for a few minutes while they talked, I finally told the woman I had to leave and left my key.
- 2.5/5
The facility was clean and the Staff during the breakfast was so nice!! The front desk staff at our Check-in was lacking a personality, he could have been more professional. The area was horrible, homeless all around the facility, your only saving grace that you do have a nice fence around that they cannot go through. The front of the building still needs a gate and fence that could be opened with a call button. Being that your front of the building is right next door to a McDonald's where the homeless gather is an eyesore!! If you could have a fence at the front sidewalk blocking them from coming into your facility. We weren't threatened in any way; it would be more pleasing to your customers if there was some sort of front blockade.
- 5/5
Did not do breakfast parking was safe and easy.
- 5/5
Great deal. Hotel was spotless! Maid service was old school amazing.
- 3/5
A coffee pot was provided but was not accessible. The ask for upgraded room cost too much.
- 5/5
Cleanliness. Comfy. Great breakfast . No ev chargers.
- 4/5
Great staff interaction - courteous, friendly, brief.
- 5/5
Cleanliness . Comfy but high bed on platform. Great breakfast included. Nothing

Home less
- 3/5
The place was fine enough and Bessie who helped with the breakfast was Stellar. Our front desk staff was nice also and lent us a fan to use. That brings us to the issue of the a/c. It was 81 in the room when we checked in and it took a full day to come Down to 68. It was a little smelly and the maintenance man was kind of rude and accused us of freezing the a/c which was the reason for the room being hot, although we did not freeze the a/c. Bathrooms were clean. The faucet had a leak and also the window casings were literally falling off.
- 5/5
clean room
- 4/5
Check in was fine. Room was very clean. Staff was friendly. I left very early before breakfast so I cannot comment on the meal.
- 5/5
The lady who served the breakfast she was amazing
- 1/5
- 2/5
The property sits in the middle of the homeless encampments in Sacramento, which unfortunately provides a less than suitable environment for families and many travelers. I personally was given a room with a window directly overlooking the McDonald's Drive-Thru. Between cars honking at other cars in line, one car literally ramming the car ahead of it (major damage), motorcyles revving all night long, etc., I slept about 2-3 hours and left the property before 6 AM. While the staff was amazingly helpful and positive given the situation, I was advised to move my car to an area more brightly lit than others so that the desk clerk could monitor it on the video screen at the desk. I carried all my belongings inside, fearful to leave them in the car. Bottom line, this seems like a really nice hotel with a great staff that someone ended up in a part of Sacramento that you will probably want to avoid.
- 5/5
Everything it was a great value, great location and friendly staff. Our room was clean and our favorite part was the breakfast and the sweet lady running it.
- 5/5
Quiet for a good night's sleep. Breakfast offered a variety of items from fresh fruit to hard boiled eggs to waffles.
- 4.5/5
It’s close to the airport and Old Town Sac which I vist every time I stay . There’s a a Denny’s across the street , and a Mc Donald’s in the parking lot so late night food is covered . The rooms are spacious and always very clean . There’s no microwave in the room , although for a short vist , it’s not a big deal and the refrigerator didn’t work this time . They were very helpful though and exchanged it out .
- 5/5
Everything was excellent except I have a hard time with super firm mattresses because I don't sleep on my back. I also had a small issue with our room facing the McDonald's next door and their lights are on all night. I would prefer a blackout shade to louvers or in addition. Otherwise, our room was very nice and it was exceptionally clean. This is a good, budget priced hotel and right near the freeway, but you don't hear the freeway noise. Other guests were respectful and there were no hotel doors slamming or guests coming in late at night with loud voices. Overall, if I wasn't being woken up by the very firm mattress, I would give 5+ stars.
- 5/5
Had a wonderful stay! Highly recommend staying at this hotel.
- 4/5
Bedding could be upgraded.
- 4/5
Needed gluten-free breakfast options.
- 5/5
On-time shuttle with friendly and polite driver. Very close and convenient to airport.
- 5/5
Everyone was helpful and friendly.
- 4/5
Room was pretty clean. The bed was nice. The bathroom was very clean. The property itself was not bad. The only thing is the breakfast was all right. They just had waffles and bread and stuff there wasn’t like any eggs or sausages or anything like that. Well, the coffee was really good and I got them off so not too bad. Other than that it was a pretty good day. I’d stay here again. The price was right.
- 5/5
Will bring you more customers..People love great breakfast choices
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
All areas were excellent from the airport shuttle in time clean, driver friendly, the hotel staff were excellent, roommates was perfectly clean, breakfast was delicious. I definitely recommend this hotel. Good memories. Thank you kindly.
- 4/5
Breakfast menu was unimpressive. Just waffles, bagels and lame fruit.
- 4/5
Perfect location for my weekend plans- right off the highway. The location was safe, easy parking. Enjoyed the variety of the continental breakfasts.
- 3/5
Friendly staff. Room was clean.
- 5/5
Great visit
- 3/5
Airport shuttle was easy. Hotel is really dingy
- 5/5
Great staff, customer service excellent
- 2/5

- 2/5
Absolutely terrible service and not a safe area. Do not recommend.
- 5/5
Room was nice & very clean
- 5/5
Everything was great just wish breakfast was more for example cooked eggs bacok
- 4/5
This is an older hotel in an ok neighborhood. It has been remodeled since we were last there several years ago. The breakfast was good and we had no issues with parking. The staff member who checked us in was wonderful. We arrived about 30 minutes early and planned on waiting in the lobby, but she got us checked into a room. We went down to the lobby two days after checking in and asked for some towels and he seemed very put out and annoyed that we would ask for them. The pool and hot tub were nice.
- 4/5
Brooke at the front desk was outstanding!! Perfect person for the job: friendly, courteous! Love that you do not pay for parking. Clean room and property. Only complaint is that there was no recycle bin in the room, nor did I see any around the property.
- 3/5
Okay
- 4/5
It’s a nice hotel though old
- 5/5
Breakfast options are not as healthy as other hotels...high sugar yogurt; two cereal choices; many packaged pastries... Otherwise, this was a very pleasant and quiet place to stay.
- 4/5
All clean, all quiet, all fast, all ok.
- 5/5
Very clean and comfortable. Friendly staff.
- 3/5
plenty of parking. the place is old. smells. spiders everywhere. breakfast selections are limitted.
- 5/5
Spritzing on a light, fresh fragrance can make the people feel much more comfortable.
- 5/5
Pool was close
- 3/5
Room was very noisy with McDonalds drive thru right out side. Neighborhood was full of homeless people laying and roaming around. I was afraid to go outside.
- 5/5
The room was clean and the bed was VERY comfortable!
- 4/5
Rooms were fine and spacious. Breakfast was ok. Pool was not heated and jacuzzi had only 1 working jet.
- 5/5
Clean, quiet, helpful staff. Pleasant experience.
- 4/5
Everything was great, room was very clean and comfortable. Traveling with young children. The breakfast staff were great
- 4/5
Breakfast was good, a bit above average. We did not use parking
- 4/5
The jacuzzi was not working and the staff didn’t know how to turn it on!
- 3/5
Airport shuttle was great, pool was out of order, surrounding area dismal, stay away from rooms facing McDonalds, you’ll hear the drive through. Breakfast was just ok, prepackaged snacks
- 4/5
Staff was friendly. Loved the free shuttle to three different spots in the city. You could call them and they would pick you up instead of taking an uber. Location was a bit far but shuttle made up for it.
- 5/5
First time will stay again
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
It's quite near the business center and the tourist place. Nice.
- 5/5
Hassle-free stay. Decent basic breakfast
- 1/5
Gross bugs loud & rude guests. Awful location just a horrible experience all the way around.
- 5/5
Good location and friendly staff
- 3/5
It’s definitely better then before the makeover
- 4/5
All good.
- 5/5
Very helpful staff. Great selection at breakast.
- 5/5
Everything was excellent
- 5/5
Thanks
- 5/5
Great hotel. Old building but properly maintained.
- 2/5
Breakfast was fresh and parking secure
- 1/5
Owner will be notified via New York Times about scandal and stolen money scheme
- 1/5
Terrible customer service wife is writing New York Times piece about the owner
- 5/5
The neighborhood is pretty bad. We were planning to walk to some of the places nearby, but we ran into a lot of homeless people on our walk. There's a mcdonald's with a late night drive through right next to the hotel, and there was a lot of noise due to the customers and hobos hanging out there. Overall I give this hotel a good score, because it was really nice (apart from the neighborhood) and the concierge earns the hotel an extra star all by herself. Just don't plan to stroll around outside.
- 2/5
Bed was rock hard and no microwave
- 4/5
No chance I was afraid to go in convenience store across the street!
- 5/5
We had the family suite that sleeps 6. This was amazing as we traveled with kids. It was spacious with 2 bathrooms. The staff who checked us in was great.
- 5/5
Breakfast was very good. When in the area, I will stay here again.
- 5/5
The airport shuttle was on time and was a nice modern shuttle and the room was very clean.
- 5/5
Nice quiet room
- 4/5
Good for the price.
- 5/5
Too short to tell!
- 4/5
The property fit our needs well and was secure. The hotel layout is nice, the bed wasn't super comfortable...but that could just be me...
- 5/5
A
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
Very friendly staff, great breakfast options, large clean rooms. I’d definitely stay again.
- 5/5
There are quite a few rough looking people walking around at night, but a short Uber ride vc
- 4/5
The accomodations were good and the staff were excellent.
- 4/5
I didn’t have time to tour area around hotel, but there restaurants and a McDonald’s right next to hotel
- 4/5
Nice size clean room and the bed and pillows were really comfortable. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Felt safe and was easy to get to from the highway. Close to lots of things via a short drive.
- 3/5
The room itself was nice. The staff very nice. The shower pan in the room I stayed needs replacement. It felt like we were going to fall through to the first floor. The bed was ridiculously firm. I feel it would have been more comfortable to sleep on tge floor. And if I was a short person good luck getting on the bed. It was so tall. Breakfast consisted of those amazing waffles, fresh fruit. Boiled eggs, yogurt, oj, coffee, bagels, sweet rolls, toast, English muffins. No meat. No oatmeal. So if your diet is restricted bring food. There is an icemaker and gym on bottom floor. The pool was closed. The shower was small, and the carpet was coming up by the bathroom door. As soon as I got to the room I spent 15 minutes sneezing. And when it came time to sleep. I had to door dash nasal spray so my husband could sleep
- 4/5
Comfy beds, friendly staff
- 5/5
Excellent property.
- 4/5
Yes, shops nearby. Did not use the gym
- 4/5
While the property was clean & close to restaurants nearby, the property did not place the correct number of towels, etc in the room. Also, it lacked a mirror in the room. It was difficult for 3 women to share the small bathroom mirror for the 3 of us. This was inconvenient.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, shops right across the street.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel with a gas station right across the street
- 5/5
Room was clean and well-maintained. Staff was welcoming and attentive. The complimentary airport shuttle was very useful. Overall very good value for the price, would stay here again.
- 5/5
I always stay here on my business trips, over 15 times , Clean & free shuttle, area not the greatest but i’m only sleeping in it
- 5/5
Clean rooms, nice staff, really great continental breakfast.
- 5/5
clean room a lot of space very easy to work with
- 4/5
there was a good restaurant within five minute walk of the hotel
- 5/5
Really nice
- 4/5
The area around the hotel is a bit sketchy.
- 4/5
Overall not bad ; friendly staff and always nice to have an airport shuttle.
- 3/5
Lots of homeless in the area. No cell signal from inside the hotel.
- 4/5
It was fine. Decent value for the money.
- 5/5
A nice place in a bad part of town.
- 5/5
Great experience, i actually stayed three more nights. No eggs at the morning buffet. Great staff, clean, and I will stay here whenever i need a room
- 5/5
The room was great and the staff very kind.
- 4/5
Room was clean and quiet, pool closed for repairs, airport shuttle is during certain hours and for a fee outside of those hours.
- 5/5
Great service
- 5/5
yes
- 5/5
Room was clean and comfortable.
- 2/5
Super, super low hot water pressure, remote did not work properly, missing light bulb in ceiling fan, charging did not work on nightstand lamp, sketchy area surrounding hotel. Staff was super nice, just a crappy hotel.
- 5/5
It’s an older hotel but very well maintained the rooms are large and plenty of space. If you’re not too sensitive to the older decor and style you will be happy for the price. The staff are very, very friendly and helpful. I have no complaints. Very nice location just off the highway.
- 4/5
staff was very nice, room was amazing for the price. only thing i’d complain about was how small and tight the bathroom was
- 5/5
Yes it was great! Can't wait to stay there again
- 5/5
Very clean very well kept friendly staff. Not a good area but overall good
- 5/5
clean room. Quiet stay. comfortable bed.
- 2/5
The heater didn’t work, the room was as cold inside as outside .The door handle BROKE OFF and we were trapped inside.
- 5/5
The Hotel was great. Big clean comfy room. Didn't get to use the pool. To cold this time of year. The hot tub was unavailable too. The gym was available but I didn't check it out. The girl who checked me in was very personable and friendly. Very polite and welcoming. A couple other employees greeted me in the hallway. Nice people. The neighbor hood seemed sketchy and I was a little worried about my car but it was fine the next morning. There were a lot of cars in the parking lot. I would stay there again if I needed to. Nice place for the money.
- 4/5
Clean, comfortable, quiet room at a good price
- 5/5
amazing staff, amazing driver, they were like family
- 5/5
The room was outstanding. The only thing that was lacking was the house keepers didn’t change the sheets and towels every day. We were there for four days.
- 5/5
Front desk was courteous and efficient, free breakfast was above average, plenty of parking, clean rooms, everything good!
- 4/5
The hotel was very nice and very clean, and the customer service was great. The only issue was that the key card kept deactivating, and I had to go to the front desk multiple times to have it reactivated in order to enter my room, which was inconvenient. They mentioned that they are updating their system and that this issue was affecting several guests. Other than that, it was a great place to stay.
- 5/5
Peaceful and quiet environment. Courteous and kind staff. Clean and spacious room.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
The staff was kind upon arrival and they made us feel especially welcome.
- 4/5
Yes very good
- 5/5
Clean room and friendly staff
- 1/5
Didn’t make it to hotel
- 3/5
There’s a very unpleasant smell in the room and the hallway. Wending machine did not work.
- 5/5
Everything is best at this hotel!
- 5/5
Comfortable stay, friendly check in
- 5/5
Front desk was amazing, rooms were bigger than expected plenty of space. The breakfast was a plus.
- 3/5
Clean room overall, but pretty basic and outdated.
- 5/5
The staff is a step above
- 5/5
However if you take out the decor elements out of it, it is a lovely hotel to stay out. First of all the staff is outstanding. The lady who checked us in asked why were staying in Sacramento and I told we were here to see Moulin Rouge. She then suggested we use their stuttlle service and he would take and pick us up in front of the theater and so we did. Our driver was friendly and drove us safely there...win..win.. The next morning they served a Continental breakfast and the lady who stocked the food was absolutely a doll. So friendly plus made us hot delicious waffles. We will definitely be back. Enjoyed our stay plus the price of the room was fantastic. Side note only about 10 minutes away from IKEA 😍
- 4/5
Ok staff.Ok room. Great breakfast.
- 4/5
Staff was courteous
- 5/5
Very clean rooms. Always welcomed by a friendly staff.
- 5/5
Everything ok
- 3/5
Bathroom didn't seem fully cleaned as there was hair in the shower, linen was very outdated, breakfast was good and the breakfast attendant Bessie was super nice, was giving motel vibes not so much hotel
- 4/5
Super nice staff, near everything. And a refillable water station! Didn’t have to buy any water!
- 4/5
Staff was wonderful, clean room, decent breakfast.
- 4/5
This is a slightly older hotel, but the rooms were very clean and the staff very friendly. There's a small fitness center and a decent breakfast (waffles, hard boiled eggs, etc) provided in the mornings.
- 4/5
Having Sacramento airport service. Breakfast was available. Room was quiet and cleam
- 5/5
All good
- 4/5
Very nice staff members. Big spacious room.

Jennifer at the front desk was extremely courteous and helpful. She made it fast and easy during check in. Room was clean. Staff was accommodating and helpful. We enjoyed the amenities from the hot tub to refreshments and breakfast was delicious. Definitely will return if in the area
- 5/5
Love it best so far will definitely come back soon
- 5/5
We didnt have breakfast we left for rhe airpirt before they were serving.
- 2/5
Terrible part of town, we showed up and the security guard was being attacked by a vagrant in the parking lot. And a few times through the night I heard people trying to break into the other entrances of the hotel, banging and yelling at the doors. Our stay was nonrefundable so we just stayed, but the room was terribly outdated and musty smelling. Sheets on the bed were dirty, stained with lipstick. Breakfast was lame, prepackaged sweet rolls, nothing fresh, juice was gross and old. Guess you get what you pay for.
- 5/5
Great staff made a more comfortable stay
- 5/5
Comfortable beds, clean rooms. The breakfast is nice, all carbohydrates, besides yogurt and hard boiled eggs, lacking protein. Staff were respectful and helpful. Be aware, shuttle stops service at 10 pm, we arrived later than that and had to uber from the airport.
- 4/5
It is a fine hotel. Clean, helpful staff, hotel breakfast (meh), dated, and they should get different cleaning products with less smell.
- 4/5
Clean, well maintained property. Friendly front desk. My only complaint is no recycle trash can in room.
- 5/5
Every employee I encountered was pleasant and kind. The rooms are super clean and comfortable. There are so many choices for breakfast! Also this hotel is in a very convenient area and I felt safe. Other hotel guests were friendly too
- 5/5
The room was nice and clean
- 4/5
The price and breakfast
- 3/5
Kind staff, good price, comfortable bed. The building is old and not noise proof, but satisfied otherwise.
- 4/5
The staff was friendly and the room was spacious and clean.
- 4/5
It was a good stay with spacious room, friendly staff and quiet neighborhood.
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Staff especially the very delightful lady who takes care of the breakfast for everyone.
- 5/5
Comfortable, clean rooms and very helpful staff. We have stayed multiple times and always enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
It’s pretty astonishing that such a wonderful hotel with some of the friendliest staff is situated on
- 5/5
Clean room, great breakfast! Staff is very friendly and some have been there over 25 years! Very accommodating and they have a shuttle that takes you to the convention center! We have been staying her for 30 years!
- 4/5
Nice hotel in not great area
- 5/5
I'd rather rate this a 1 so no one else goes... But this place is an absolute gem.
- 5/5
Staff was great, breakfast was a nice perk
- 3/5
The hotel was clean and the staff was VERY nice!! It is an older hotel and definitely smells like it. The area is not the best either. Initially the key cards did not work and had to be re magnetized, the hot water also ran out of the shower and the heater was pretty noisy. But over all no extra dumb fees parking was free and the staff was so nice! Wasnt a bad stay for the price !
- 5/5
Comfortable clean hotel
- 4/5
All good.
- 5/5
The staff was all very efficient and friendly. The cost was great and the transportation to local ares a was a great feature.
- 4/5
For the price, it was fine. It was very quiet. The beds were very high and ok comfort. The room was clean and fairly large. It had lots of electrical plugs, a plus. The room fridge was very noisy. The breakfast bar had make-your-own waffles, hard boiled eggs, and packaged pastries. The workout room only had 3 old exercise bikes and one eliptical machine, with no weights or treadmill.
- 5/5
Room was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Staff was very nice and helpful, I had a great time visiting this hotel.
- 4/5
I booked the hotel as the review for breakfast was "excellent'. If providing ONLY store bought items from like pre-packaged muffins, boiled eggs, pancake mix etc. is considered excellent we will need to come up with a new adjective for hotels that provide hot in premises cooked breakfast. The best part was that they did not even have ketchup !!!
- 5/5
This is second time staying at this wonderful hotel. Thank you for your, home away from home decor, consistent great service, and amazing staff. I'll be back...again.
- 4/5
Room was clean. Hot water took about 5 minutes to come out the shower. Coffee maker did not work. Had multiple keys that didn’t work.
- 2/5
OK place, but pretty noisy
- 5/5
Everything was Ok with us
- 5/5
I stay at Governors Inn routinely while my semi truck is receiving maintenance. This hotel is absolute delight and will remain my “go-to” for my stays in Sacramento. At first glance you may want to pass it up due the surrounding environment. However, I would suggest you do not as I know you will be pleasantly surprised. The staff is always very friendly and pleased to have you as a guest. Rooms are spacious and always exceptionally clean. Breakfast is fantastic. Major props to Jolene at the front desk who is about the nicest person you could meet.
- 1/5
Homeless camp next door. Rooms are clean but old and need upgrades. Breakfast lacks in warm food. Couple fighting down the hall night and front desk would do nothing about it.
- 4/5
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a lot of carbs but plentiful.
- 5/5
Everything was excellent we’re very happy to stay at your hotel.Thank you
- 5/5
Great spot
- 5/5
The bed were very, very, very comfortable. The breakfast was good clean room.
- 5/5
Amazing staff overall. The room was clean, the carpets could have been cleaner. Loved the option of having shuttle service to the Airport.
- 5/5
Check in staff was very nice the two queen room was very nice and clean. It's a bit dated hit overall for a short stay it was comfortable and the free breakfast was good.
- 3/5
The room was nice. Warm for the winter. Clean and very hospitable. I was unable to enjoy the breakfast because I had to leave at 6:00am to get to work and breakfast didn’t start until 6:30am. Also, when I checked in the night before, the clerk was rude to me because the area is mostly indigent and I didn’t look like I should have even had a reservation. enjoyed walking to Denny’s and having dinner but not without multiple people asking me for help in some way concerning money. The view from my window was of McDonald’s so I closed the blinds. However, I did enjoy my stay after being treated badly and my incapability to enjoy the perks, like breakfast.
- 4/5
Room was clean just had a stale smell to it. After a while. I got use to it and was able to sleep. It was nothing that an air freshener couldn’t handle.
- 5/5
We had a wonderfully peaceful stay. The hotel is clean and classically decorated. And it was centrally located for what we needed. I would definitely stay here again. The beds were high and super comfortable. I couldn't have asked for a better stay.
- 4/5
Helpful friendly staff. Property was clean and well located for our needs.Bed was comfortable. We would stay here again.
- 5/5
Nice hotel, clean and quiet. It’s a lot bigger than I thought. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The lady at the front desk was really nice.
- 1/5
We had to be moved from our room because the sheets were dirty. There was a lady yelling outside our room for hours so we could not sleep. Overall the stay was not good. The hotel is old and not clean. I will never stay there again.
- 5/5
Staff was helpful and friendly. Rooms were large and clean.
- 5/5
I used the airport shuttle, which picked me up after calling in a prompt manner. Staff was good at communicating and helpful to my needs. The room was neat and spacious.
- 5/5
The room was slightly dated but clean and VERY spacious. The mattress could have used a topper for better comfort but it was not detrimental. The breakfast was the usual "Continental" style but the butter was real grass fed butter and the hard boiled eggs were cooked to perfection.
- 5/5
The staff was very nice and the hotel room was spacious.
- 5/5
Great room. Very clean!
- 5/5
5 stars
- 5/5
Shuttle drivers nice
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Everything worked as expected. The hotel was clean and quiet, and the staff was friendly. Good breakfast. Free parking.
- 5/5
Front desk people were awesome. The bathrooms need a complete over haul. Dated, depressing. The little tiles are pre-mold(ing). Room was very clean.
- 4/5
Staff are super friendly and it’s a perfect place to stay the night before an airport. They have a free shuttle.
- 5/5
Everyone was great
- 4/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Yes, the room is quite clean, and the staff are courteous and friendly.
- 5/5
Room was clean, friendly staff, convenient location.
- 5/5
The airport shuttle is convenient. That staff are super friendly.
- 4/5
Great location near the bus depot.
- 4/5
Friendly staff. Close to downtown and convention center. Shuttle is available for drop off and pick up. Nice and clean room.
- 5/5
front desk was the only staff i encountered and she was very nice and accomodating. There were two light bulbs out of five over the sink that were dark. The room was fine, but it's hard to believe that two failef as I checked in. It wasn't a big deal.
- 4/5
We needed a place to stay near the hospital and this place fit the bill nicely. Clean, spacious rooms, a comfortable bed and a friendly staff added up to a pleasant stay.
- 5/5
Great place
- 4/5
Staff is always friendly.
- 5/5
Not many options for breakf ast in juices or types of fruit but it was appreciated. Staff were friendly and professional. The bed was extra comfy but only 1 washcloth and face towel were provided and there were 2 of us.
- 4/5
Hotel is dated. Room was clean but dimly lit even with all the lamps. The rooms and halls were spacious but could use remodel., and more air freshening. Continental breakfast was as expected. Would have liked more protein offered. Staff were all friendly and courteous.
- 5/5
Staff was so helpful and very kind
- 5/5
friendliness and they way staff accomatrd our request.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing. The room was cozy and very clean. The breakfast was good. I would stay here again
- 5/5
The room was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My family and I would stay there again.
- 5/5
Nice room
- 4/5
Good staff, clean room,great price.
- 4/5
The hotel isn't in the nicest area however we didn't feel unsafe. You need a key to get into the side entrances. The room was semi-clean. It was dirty near the beds and the shower couldve used a deep cleaning. Speaking of beds, they were obnoxiously tall. Kids needed to be hoisted into it. Staff were really friendly and attentive. Overall its a nice clean place if you need a budget friendly room.
- 3/5
Spacious room
- 5/5
Staff and the courtesy van to the Airport
- 5/5
Very limited breakfast waffles everyday
- 4/5
The hotel is good. But I chose it because of the airport shuttle. Unfortunately, shuttle is not 24/7. My flight was at 7am, receptionist said that first shuttle is in 6.30am. So, I had to take Uber anyway. It would be much more helpful if the shuttle schedule was on the hotel page in Expedia.
- 4/5
Biggest issue is that the Expedia listing didn’t indicate that the shuttle stopped running at 10pm, which was a problem since I didn’t arrive until 1130pm and therefore had to pay for my own transport to the hotel. Additionally, apparently one needs to reserve the shuttle which also wasn’t indicated anywhere. Otherwise, room worked well enough and breakfast perfectly fine.
- 5/5
Very clean and friendly budget hotel with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Excellent Mexican restaurant nearby.
- 5/5
The service at breakfast was exceptional
- 5/5
As per usual, my stay at Governor’s Inn is always top notch. Rooms are spacious and immaculate. The best part is the warm and friendly greeting from the delightful staff that work behind the counter. The female staff member that sets up the breakfast on weekdays is very delightful as well. Always a pleasure being staying here.
- 5/5
The hotel is great, its just the area around the hotel that does not look very welcoming
- 5/5
Breakfast and Hotel staff was excellent
- 5/5
Courteous staff & clean room!
- 5/5
Asked if everything was alright in our room. When discovered no TV remote in room, housekeeping was able to locate one!
- 5/5
Very friendly staff!
- 5/5
Change de eggs
- 4/5
Friendly staff. Not the greatest area however. Would return just because of the staff and service
- 5/5
Friendly staff, good location, excellent breakfast options
- 5/5
Compared to other facilites in the area for the pricing, governors was clean and offered a varied breakfast buffet. Lots of parking available. Comfortable rooms and clean. Only thing is it's really close to the highway and a block behind it are lots of homeless people, so I wouldn't feel safe going out at night. Other than that, nice stay for the price. About 1 mile from Old Sacramento.
- 5/5
Breakfast was good every morning. Clean, nicely kept, well stocked. Coffee was fresh.
- 5/5
The room was clean. The price was very good. The food options at breakfast were poor. The airport shuttle service was excellent and we loved or driver. The people at the front desk were very good. The person serving in the breakfast room was very attentive.
- 4/5
The top of the hotel was immaculate, and the rooms and staff were very nice, with a very nice greeting. The Breakfast is straightforward. Not very much. There are options to choose from, but around that area is a superb hotel.
- 5/5
For its location and price point, it was a pleasant surprise how nice it was. I have been catfished by other hotels on Richards Blv and this was as good as advertised
- 5/5
I would totally stay here again. Clean, quiet, convenient. Slept in and missed breakfast.
- 4/5
Liked that it was quiet and there was breakfast.
- 5/5
Quiet evening, easy check-in out. Desk staff very friendly. The continental breakfast was so-so. Overall, very good value.
- 5/5
The staff are super friendly in special the woman who serve breakfast was lovely and very kind The hotel make arrangement to offer to Ironman athletes transportation in the morning race wich are awesome
- 5/5
We were pleased that we were greeted pleasantly. All was clean. Receptionist was super informative. Room was clean and sto ked with linens. Breakfast items were fresh. Hostess in dining area was super sweet and kept the food areas clean and well stocked. We were happy at the hotel.
- 5/5
The area isn’t the best BUT the staff was amazing and they always were friendly and helped as best as possible. Free airport shuttle to and from hotel was a nice plus
- 5/5
The staff was beyond amazing. The went well above and beyond for those of us attending Aftershock this year. They had food trucks for us every night, and offered rain ponchos and ear plugs❤️❤️❤️
- 5/5
Our favorite place to stay when we’re in the Sacramento area. Always clean, super friendly staff and mostly nice and quiet. I might add a great access to I five easy on easy off.
- 5/5
Hard working, attentive staff.
- 4/5
It was ok
- 5/5
A very secure and Comfy place, room was clean and staff was friendly, breakfast was good.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel and very friendly staff. Will be back for sure!
- 5/5
I would highly recommend booking a room at the Governors Inn. The staff was professional, helpful, and friendly.
- 5/5
Good Services. I really liked the hotel😀
- 5/5
Great!
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
Second stay at this property and would definitely stay here again and again. The staff is very welcoming and the rooms are clean and cozy! Didn't have the breakfast provided (slept too long) but they have a couple nice places to get breakfast nearby!
- 5/5
Second time staying here! Great price and friendly staff that makes you feel welcomed! Cozy rooms and there's a few dining options nearby for a nice, fun breakfast! Would definitely keep staying here whenever I'm in town!
- 5/5
Very easy to book and the lady in the breakfast area was absolutely wonderful and kind
- 3/5
Run down, smelled old, staff was nice
- 4/5
Offer more protein choices in breakfast
- 5/5
Outstanding
- 4/5
The beds are very firm. I liked that the location was so close to downtown. There is a homeless population nearby, but the actual property was clean and didn't have any homeless. It is Sacramento, so I pretty much expected them on every corner. The breakfast was great! Front desk was great. Overall a good value.
- 5/5
Staff was nice, room was very clean! A little out dated but great for what I needed it for
- 5/5
Great location. McDonalds is very close.
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff was wonderfully helpful and nice, breakfast had a good variety with decent coffee. Only complaint was the few homeless outside, which the hotel can’t help. However they kept the parking lot clear and clean we felt safe leaving our car parked the whole weekend. Great stay!
- 4/5
It was a good hotel to stay at. I did have the do not disturb sign up and my room was still entered but other then that nice place and friendly staff.
- 5/5
Very welcoming Had candy, earplugs and other welcome goodies in lobby for visitors
- 5/5
👍
- 5/5
Excellent staff
- 5/5
The surrounding area is really unsafe and dirty. But the actual hotel is great!
- 5/5
Easy access to a dennys down the street and sutter health park and old town Sacramento are about a mile away
- 3/5
The hotel is located right next to Interstate-5, with excellent, convenient access to downtown Sacramento and the airport. The cost is reasonable. The room was quite clean, and the I-5 traffic could not be heard. However, the room carpeting was very old and worn. The air conditioner was noisy. The shower was ok except that the water flow was extremely low. That's common in California to try to save water, but the main effect is just to make showering really, really slow. There is a large homeless population near the hotel, so beware. We were panhandled twice just while getting gasoline at the starion across the street from the hotel. That is not the hotel's fault, obviously, but it's still something to consider.
- 4/5
The airport shuttle is not 24/7 and the hours it was available did not mesh with our flight needs.
- 5/5
The property was in great shape, the staff was polite and professional, and the hostess managing the Saturday morning continental breakfast was an absolute treasure. This was a great stay!
- 4/5
Very friendly staff and a nice affordable option to stay at when catching a baseball game. Beds are quite firm, probably good for some but wasn’t to my preference.
- 4/5
A fan in the toilet/shower room would be helpful. Also, the shampoo/soap dispenser in the shower is attached too high up the wall.
- 4/5
Clean cool staff
- 5/5
I arrived around 11p & spent only 8 hours in the room primarily sleeping. Easy parking, lots of lightinig, easy check in and check out.
- 5/5
Everything was neat, clean and modern. We were only there for 1 night but the location was great for our sightseeing.
- 3/5
The airport shuttle only starts at 6am but my flight left at 6:30am. I booked the hotel because of the shuttle and then I’m not sure if it was because it was an early uber, the signs in the room for safety saying it is not fully safe spot in town but I was made uneasy standing outside for the uber (came back and stood in the door) and having to give a code when I was picked up. Comfortable though and quick check in etc.
- 4/5
The property itself was very nice.
- 4/5
Clean and comfortable. Helpful staff. Work near by. I will be happy to have Governors Inn be my go to place to stay while working in this area.
- 5/5
Was there overnight after our week trip to Folsom and Tahoe. Convenient to airport. Limited dining in walkable vicinity
- 5/5
Room was clean and welcoming. I felt special, even though I was on a solo trip. Definitely worth every penny and easy on wallet.
- 5/5
The room was very comfortable and clean. The property is somewhat isolated from restaurants (within walking distance) and stores. Otherwise it met my needs nicely.
- 4/5
Everything was Good
- 5/5
All was good. The breakfast room attendant offered superior service. Thanks
- 5/5
Good breakfast
- 5/5
Breakfast was made very pleasant by the smiley and helpful attendant who went above and beyond.
- 4/5
Governor’s Inn was a great place for an overnight stay after a late arrival in Sacramento. The hotel is clean and staff were friendly. It feels a bit outdated and is located near a busy road which was occasionally noisy during the night. Overall a great place to crash for a night.
- 4/5
Great
- 2/5
Limited parking. The whole floor smelled like marijuana. The beds were super high (and I am tall) and hard as a rock. Thin, hard pillows. No facecloths. And too many harsh chemicals used to clean the floors and elevator. I literally held my breath while in the elevator.
- 5/5
The room was clean and quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable, a tad too elevated from the floor but all good.
- 4/5
Quiet, clean, no smell in our room, parking lot has a lot of lighting. I just don’t like the surroundings homeless is everywhere. California’s capital city exploded with homeless. Government officials should help this homeless people. They are people too.
- 5/5
The front desk staff were helpful and friendly, the room was clean and comfy.
- 5/5
Staff are friendly and accommodating
- 4/5
I was very pleasantly surprised at how nicely maintained this hotel is considering it's in a terrible part of town so overrun with vagrants that it might be called a homeless campground. The interior of the hotel is beautiful and well maintained. spacious hallways and well kept rooms. I would recommend it if you don't plan to go outside after dark.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly.
- 5/5
Property has very clean interior and the staff very servisial.
- 4/5
Great value. Nice facility with some updates. Nice continental breakfast.
- 5/5
Great clean place We walked to Old Sacramento. About 4000 steps each way
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
I was visiting family just 6 minutes from the property and stayed for one night. Check-in was easy, and the staff were wonderful! My room was spacious, clean, and the breakfast was good. While there are many unhoused individuals in the downtown area, the property itself felt safe. I would definitely stay here again.
- 2/5
Staff at the front was nice, but it's in a crappy neighborhood with homeless people all over the place, inside is pretty worn down, gym only has cardio and the TV was busted (screen literally shattered)
- 4/5
I've stayed here twice. The hotel is clean and well-managed. It is located close to an I5 on-ramp that gives quick, convenient access to much of the Western side of Sacramento (dining entertainment etc...) if you have a car. Restaurant options within walking distance are quite limited.
- 4/5
Terrible coffee in the room! But the morning breakfast was good. Nice fresh fruit.
- 4/5
The staff was very welcoming and friendly
- 3/5
Our stay could have been better. Our room only had one comfortable chair to sit in. The bed was extremely high, and if you're short extremely difficult to get into and out of. There was no way to contact the front desk except walk to the desk.
- 5/5
Lobby is nice. The room spacious, comfortable , good lighting
- 5/5
I had an early flight and needed a quick, safe place to stay. This hotel was perfect. It is older but very well kept. Prefect for my needs.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, free shuttle to the ballpark, convenient parking, continental breakfast, friendly staff, reasonably priced! We will be back!
- 5/5
Breakfast is very good!…the lady is very friendly
- 5/5
I go there two or three times a year. They’re all friendly accommodating. The breakfast is good. I love the pool and I love the fact that you go walk to old sack.
- 5/5
Everything is very clean - breakfast was plentiful, large selection of wide variety of foods. Rooms are very large - extra section with desk. Bathroom was in super condition, shower worked well.
- 5/5
Clean property, very friendly staff and convenient at a competitive price.
- 5/5
Airport shuttle did not run early enough for our flight. I was not aware there was a shuttle availability time frame.
- 5/5
Wonderful stay me and my wife really enjoyed how friendly the staff was. I can’t remember their names and that is upsetting to me because the ladies at the front desk were awesome that day. The beds were comfortable. The hotel was clean. The breakfast was excellent and the woman who was helping in the breakfast area was awesome. Highly highly recommend your hotel.
- 3/5
This hotel was fine for a night. We stayed here while attending SacAnime. Our room was clean and quiet. However the bed was very hard and I could barely move the next day. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The location leaves much to be desired. There were many transients and very limited dining options. There is a gas station, Denny's and another fast food option. However, it was only a short drive to more dining options. Overall, our stay was fine for a night but it's not somewhere I would stay for a vacation.
- 5/5
really clean, quiet, and nice!
- 4/5
Really nice property decent room with king bed. Plenty of parking. They even let us check in an hour early. will be staying there again for sure
- 5/5
We've stayed here on multiple occasions. This is our go to place to stay when we are in the area.
- 5/5
Room was clean, breakfast was good
- 2/5
Staff not helpful at check in
- 3/5
Room was OK. Shower area did not have a fan and stayed wet and muggy. Parking lot and surrounding area had homeless people with mental problems accosting customers.
- 5/5
The hotel were nice and clean. The breakfast excellent and service.
- 4/5
The room was nice and clean, and the staff were pretty friendly and helpful. I would have liked to have an ATM in the hotel. Additionally, I wished the showers had accessible handlebars, and options for a grippier shower mat
- 5/5
Thank you for the good service
- 4/5
Area around had lots of homeless people wandering around.
- 5/5
We will definitely return and we highly recommend it!
- 4/5
My key could be used only once. After that, they wouldn't open doors. I had them replaced and it happened again. Very inconvenient.
- 3/5
Loved it was so close to I-5. Bathroom was too small. Shower that small should have a handheld shower head. The bed was too high off ground. There was a homeless camp behind the hotel which jeopardizes security. There were minimal dining opportunities available. The McDonalds next door only did drive thru at 8 pm.
- 4/5
It’s clean and staff is good, airport shuttle doesn’t start early enough and breakfast is kinda late too
- 5/5
After touring around some of California we spent her last two nights here before heading to Sacramento airport. It's nice to relax by the pool was very quiet. The lady in the breakfast room was extremely pleasant and helpful as was the front desk I would stay again.
- 4/5
The place was clean and the staff was friendly
- 4/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. The hotel was clean. The spa was not working well but they said it was going to get fixed. Overall good value. I would recommend.
- 5/5
Had a good stay
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Easy check-in. Breakfast is good.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
It was very clean and great staff.
- 4/5
The staff are friendly and helpful! The room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. Ot was a very nice stay!
- 5/5
Friendly service. Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom and shower was clean. Closet was good size with a good amount of hangers and room to place suit cases. Plenty of enterances to enter closest to your room and parking by each enterance. No microwave in our room, but could use the one in the lobby. Lots of comforting seating in the lobby with tables to eat. Continental breakfast was average with great friendly help.
- 5/5
We had a very pleasant stay. It was clean and had polite and helpful staff.
- 5/5
The price was right and it had a pool and a much needed hot tub after a long drive. They had a decent breakfast and free parking so again it was a good value hotel. I didn’t see any bars or hotels within walking distance but for me it was great for a one night stay…..
- 5/5
Everything went smoothly from our check in to our drop off at the airport. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good. We liked the hours.
- 5/5
Customer service impeccable. Breakfast was great.
- 5/5
The facility is clean and great service.

I liked everything about the hotel. The hotel was clean and quiet. It is in very good condition.
- 5/5
Everything bout this place was good even the customer service
- 5/5
Bed was comfortable. Showers hot.
- 5/5
Nice and clean.
- 5/5
My husband stayed at this hotel two nights. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. They even honored, in a spirit of helpfulness, a request to service the room sort of late (3 PM or so). Totally recommend if staying in Sacramento.
- 5/5
Great staff
- 4/5
Nice place and good staff.
- 5/5
Very professional staff and attention to details. Great bed and furnishings. Clean facilities, safe free parking, and nice amenities. Great shuttle service to airport, train station, and local attractions.
- 5/5
Close to downtown. Free shuttle to Sutter Health Park.
- 5/5
Pretty clean, bed was super comfy, breakfast was good and the staff was super friendly and efficient. Great value.
- 5/5
My husband, kids and I stayed for one night on our roadtrip and I slept a solid 8 hours, which never happens! I was a little worried about the homeless people camped out around the area, but we had no issues and felt safe the entire time! Bessie was a so friendly and my kids ate a big breakfast! We will definitely be back again if we are in the area! Thank you so much!
