Staff was brand new and in the phone messed up my reservation and charged me twice then. The manager didn’t want to give me a refund, even though the staff and their new system messed up my reservation. The hotel was good but the service was terrible

Air was not on when we entered the room so it smelled musty in there in the beginning. It was fine after we turned on the air conditioning. Wooden Panel along the bathroom sink was all coming out. Beds were clean and comfortable. Front desk staff very friendly. Breakfast had good variety blueberry muffins bagels English muffin white/wheat bread eggs sausage juices coffee teas yogurt and batter to make fresh individual waffles. Would stay again

Stayed 1 night, May 16 to morning of May 17, 2026. Unfortunately I can't give a good review due to the event that occurred. At 7:00 a.m. on a Sunday the fire alarm went off disturbing all guests in the building. Apparently, according to hotel staff, there was some condition in the boiler room that caused the alarm to go off. The fire department came and did their investigation. No apparent fire deterant was used. The alarm was still going on every few minutes, even after the fire trucks left. After 9am we could not take the irritating noise of the alarm any longer, so we checked out.

The hot tub was not working at the time witch sucked. Then got woken up at 630am by fire alarm, go ask what's going on and they tell us the sprinkler system is messed up and then the alarms kept going off until we finally left at 10am. It was horrible.

I was given the room I reserved. The staff was respectful and friendly . Our only disappointment was that the pool and hot tub were undergoing maintenance and unavailable during our stay.

Pool and hot tub were out of commission. We weren’t advise of these major amenities being unavailable until check in. Also, the majority of the outlets in the room weren’t working. 3 out the 4 USB ports were also not working properly.

Unfortunately, I booked this location because of the pool but the pool was being serviced during all 3 days of our stay. The kids were sad about it.

The pool and hot tub were out of service and had been since December but that was not advertised. If it was, we would have booked a different hotel since we were traveling with kids.

I booked this hotel for the hot tub and pool. Both were closed for renovation. False advertising!

The hotel was very clean some of the staff were nice and friendly but the one at overnight not even a hello. Didn't get to enjoy the pool because its under renovation.

Pool was closed, no notice posted on Expedia. Receptionist was very grouchy and rude. No bedding provided for pull-out. Fan rattled loud all night and distrusted sleep. Asked for a partial refund and was told to call back tomorrow when the manager is in, and then didn’t give me the number

Almost everything was out of order to include the pool and half the gym. It was dirty everywhere and look unkept. The air conditioner in our room did not work. There was no panel and wires were exposed at the bottom. I’m not sure why this property had good reviews on Expedia but I would never stay here again.

the room temp. was very cold, it took hours to warm up. the refrigerator was warm and did not work. the breakfast was ok. there was no fresh fruit at breakfast.

Everything was perfect, beautiful and clean room, easy parking (and free despite what Expedia tried to charge). Lee at the front desk was an unexpected delight and made our visit so comfortable. The breakfast had tons of options, we have 4 small kids and even our picky eaters were very happy.

Extremely disappointed. The only reason I spent extra money to stay there was because they were supposed to have a hot tub and an indoor pool. Both were shut down for renovations, and I was not given any type of credit at all, even though I asked. I ended up leaving a night early and not even staying the second night because there was nothing to do.

The hot tub was out of order and had been drained for some time. This was not mentioned on the Expedia listing, in the follow up email, or at check in by the front desk. Only an old sign at the pool door. We specifically picked the hotel due to it advertising it had an available hot tub on the Expedia listing. Room was ok, refrigerator was on the lowest setting so was not cold at all. We had medicine that needed to be cold so could not be used for 6 hours until it got a little cold. The 3rd floor hallway was very littered and had not been vacuumed for a while. Very displeased. Staff was friendly. We did not bring up our issues with them. There was nothing they could do about the hot tub or fridge being on low.

We came in about 9:00 pm so got 330 way down the hall and no king beds available. The air conditioner was very noisy with metal ringing sound when cooling kicked in and we could not sleep. The nice gentleman at the deck allowed us to move to 332 with better air but either next door or across the hall there was a party very loud and lot of slamming of doors. We went to bed around 11:00 - 11:30 with a loud sound machine to driwn out the noise. Also, not sure why breakfast ends at 9:00 am and not 9:30 or 10:00 like other Comfort Suites and Inns.

Tim at the front desk was wonderful. He was friendly and very helpful. The room was nice and clean and we had a wonderful breakfast of fresh scrambled eggs, and sausage. The only negative which really was not their fault was the building had been struck by lightning the week before, so the Jacuzzi wasn’t working I don’t view that as a problem that could happen to anyone. I would recommend this place to anyone

This was a quick overnight trip with friends to attend a concert. We were given rooms right next to each other, which was great. Staff was courteous and helpful, the rooms were very clean, the breakfast options were good, and the location was convenient. This was our second time booking this hotel, and I'm sure there will be more in the future!

Chose this property because it was the only one in the area with a hot tub. We had been driving several hours for days and needed the physical therapy. Got there and hot tub was “under construction.” Receptionist said we would have known that if we booked direct to their website as third party dealers didn’t care. Went to hotel website- no mention of hot tub down. Thumbs down on amenities.

This was a convenient location off I-81 as we were staying over for a night along our long trip. The room accommodated our party of 6. The continental breakfast was good.

We only stayed one night on our way through to TN but it was comfortable, welcoming and convenient. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good. My only complaint was the pull out couch was dirty. Looks like somone spilled something on the mattress and there were crumbsso and no sheets on it so my son opted to sleep lwith us.

Checked into our “pet friendly “hotel to find out that in addition to the nonrefundable fee we had paid to book, we also had to pay an additional $50 pet fee. This was on $113 room.

The first room they offered had a reoccurring leak on carpet from air conditioner. The room smelled BAD. Sticky, dirty, NASTY

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights as it was between my two sisters' homes, one in Roanoke and one in Elliston. We liked the spacious rooms with a couch f, microwave, and refridgerator. We loved being across the street from Angelle's. We had dinner one night and brunch another day. My husband could walk to the Food Lion for snacks.

It was very clean, a nice breakfast and close to the interstate.

Everything was nice, the pull out bed had stains on it and the hot tub was broken, the pool was also freezing like it shouldn’t have been available to public.. it might’ve been out of order as well. It was also really dark on the inside. The breakfast was great and hotel was quite and nice overall.

I was in town with a large group for a bowling tournament and the stay was a lot of fun.The hotel is very conveniently located. The hotel was clean and the staff was great.

Just ok, the room looked clean, but didn’t feel clean. The pullout couch had a urine stain on it with no sheets or blankets for the pullout couch. We booked five of us for check-in but they only suppled us with three towels and three wash clothes . With five of us washing up the bathroom steam very fast with no ventilation or windows . it wasn’t just our type of room. I give it three stars because it was good for one night, by the way, we did check out one day early and lost paid room day because we wasn’t really happy.

I had originally made a reservation through Hotels.com for 2 nights and then made an additional night's reservation directly through the hotel and informed the desk clerk of this when we checked in. We stayed in the same room for the entire stay. However, our room key was closed out each day and we had to have it reactivated each morning in order to get back into our room.

We selected this Hotel from the others based on the positive reviews, and the value for what they offer: Clean rooms, Full selection of Breakfast with Tea or Coffee, and easy access to I-81. We chose a King bed, and it was so comfortable! No dips in the middle, very plush and level. Just right for a great night's sleep.

The room had ants and the bathroom had black mold in the corners. We had to go back to the front desk and change rooms. Still saw a few ants in the next rooom. We checked out immediately the next morning as we were only in town for a graduation.

Analog TV in room, not HDTV (are you kidding me?) Oh, but there was HDTV in the lobby. No phone in room to call front desk or request wake-up call. Clock/radio in room was impossible to operate...would need the instruction manuel to figure it out. No exhaust fan in bathroom to help alleviate steam. AC unit worked, but had to "trick it" to blow cool air. I will never stay at this Comfort Inn again.

Friends weekend getaway. For the price was good. Staff was very nice from the cleaning crew to front desk. Breakfast was surprisingly decent. Bed was comfortable but air conditioning was noisy. Thank you. We felt safe and welcome. See you in a few months. Will say with you guys again.

there where kids running around on the top floor and when we tried to report the noise we couldnt get ahold of anyone, it last for hours, we were on the second floor, the noise was on the top floor right above us, the beds were not very comfortable, but when i did get to talk to the lady up at the front she was very friendly, no issues with her at all,

The pool and hot tub area was too heavy on the chlorine--you could feel it in the air and it stung your eyes after a while. The pool water was also very cold, so we didn't stay in long. The handle on the wall shower was broken, so we couldn't rinse off either. There were some towels left around, which demonstrated that the area probably doesn't get checked on by staff very often. The room was clean, but the A/C took a while to get going at the end of the night and never quite got down to what we set it at. The couch was pretty squeaky, but overall the room was fine. The breakfast had a great variety of juices, muffins, bagels, powdered eggs, sausage links, cereals, yogurt and granola, and waffles. Given the issues with the pool area that needed more careful attention, we probably would not stay again, but it was not an overall bad experience. I'd give it closer to a 6/10.

VERY disappointed! Reserved THREE rooms at this hotel because it was advertised as having an indoor pool. That was my main reason for the reserve was for the pool. We were traveling with 5 kids and got them all ready to go to the pool. Only to find out the water was ice cold! When questioning the staff they said they have ordered a part before Christmas. This should have been disclosed to me. I had specifically chose the pool as a must have amenity. When talking to the staff they said there was no way they could help us because I booked through a third party. I want an adjustment to my pay.

It has gone down hill. It needs some updating

I paid extra to stay in the jacuzzi sweet work my coworker. We knew that meant giving up a bed for a pull out sofa. Unfortunately this pull out sofa was nasty, unclean, food and spill stains, a dirty sheet and also so thin you could feel springs and a bar through it. My coworker and i had to sleep in the same bed because the mattress was not even usable. Having the hot tub was nice bit it wasn't worth the extra that i paid and then had to give up even having two beds. So don't stay here if you need to make use of the pull out sofa they are old and nasty and not comfortable.

What a sketchy area. We went to the local Arby’s, and some crazy man was harassing us. Hotel makes you ask for bedding for the pull out sofa, which we discovered after undressing. Otherwise, it was fine.

It was not good. They have a policy for you to ask if you want your room to be cleaned the night before, I informed them and my room wasn't clean two straight days complained and my room was half cleaned.
