We really enjoyed our stay. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. The shower was amazing, too. The water pressure was exceptional and it stayed hot throughout the shower. The hotel was very quiet. We never heard any noise. I will definitely be back!

I don’t normally write reviews but the hotels deserves a review. Coming inside to check in hotel was super clean. Staff was very friendly. Went to my room was super clean as well very spacious. AC worked pretty well. Also got to enjoy the hot tub and pool. Staff was always friendly. Free Breakfast as well. Over all 10/10

This hotel was a five min drive to The River Walk. Good breakfast. Nice indoor pool. The room had a different smell to it. Maybe the humidity. Other than that. It was a quiet clean room.

It was quiet and clean. The breakfast was pretty good, and the entire facility was very clean. Someone was smoking weed on the balcony in one of the rooms on the second floor. It caused both my aunt and I to get migraines. The smell was so strong the entire hallway stunk.

It's a great location and very clean. Floors could use some updating but fitness room,pool,and free breakfast make up for it.other than that we enjoyed our stay.

It's a little outdated but not terrible. The doors to the bathroom and bedroom were hard to open and close as if the door didn't fit right. Also, the lady who was managing the breakfast was coughing up a lung every few minutes in the kitchen and you can tell she wasnt covering her mouth so that's not a settling feeling.

You could tell that the property was not new but they were working at keeping it in good shape. We arrived in the middle of stormy weather and were scheduled to leave in a flash flood situation. The staff allowed us late checkout until it was safe to drive.

We had an issue with our room being very humid and damp facing the front of the road. The Management was very accommodating to ensure the remainder of our stay was comfortable allowing us to choose another room. I was so happy with the customer service that we extended extra nights. This is an older property, but it is well located and has spacious rooms and comfortable furnishings. It is also a bargain cost-wise, especially when compared to staying near the riverwalk. I would definitely stay there again when I return to San Antonio.

At first was worried about the area because it looked a bit rundown but the room was immaculate. Did t care to much for how the parking lot was set-up but nothing to do about that.

The breakfast menu was simple but good, staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very specious and the beds was comfortable. The only down fall was not enough parking, but it was very well lighted. My family and I had an amazing stay would book again.

All the staff great. Inside our room needed some maintenance. The doors barely shut, the shower curtain was broken and water got all over the bathroom floor, and the floorboard around the shower was discolored and the paint was peeling—probably because of the water damage

Looks old on the outside, but decent on the inside. Area looks a little shady, but was safe. The bedding didn't appear to of been changed and there was crumbs between the couch cushions and on bedframe. Thin floors could hear the person upstairs all day/ night. The bathtub was in terrible condition, with the coating missing, visible cracks, and even sharp areas. It didn’t feel safe to use, so we avoided showering altogether. That alone says a lot about the condition of the room. The pool and hot tub were no better. The pool was ice cold and unusable, and the hot tub had such a strong chlorine smell that it actually caused a nosebleed. It was clear that the entire location is in serious need of updates and better maintenance. We did speak with the front desk, but were simply told that this was the room we had booked. Since we arrived late and only needed a place to rest during our drive home, we stayed—but under normal circumstances, we absolutely would have gone elsewhere. Overall, this was a horrible stay, and we would not recommend this location to anyone.

General condition of the lodge is quite run down. Cigarette smell was present from the moment you walk in the front door and throughout hallways. Pillows were in terrible condition. Hardly any support left in them.

This whole hotel experience was great I love that they have breakfast till 10am really letting you get breakfast with sleeping in! The indoor pool and spa were really great

To be honest I didn't eat the breakfast but I enjoyed staying at this hotel. The room was big for the two bedroom and it was nice I would stay here again. In the future.

Room is run down and old. Light bulbs burnt out,toilet seat only held on with one bolt, hot tub wasn’t working, pool water murky, breakfast is not much and all carpet is old and very stinky. Says it’s on the river walk but not even close. You can see the river but cannot access for almost a mile. Very very misleading.

Loved that it was near so many shopping centers. AC would go off and make room humid besides that the stay was great.

Overall the stay was nice. Breakfast was good. Only the A/C didn't get cold enough. I couldn't get it to a decent temp to sleep comfortably. We got back late to our room and assumed the hotel was full so I didn't report it until we left.

The room was spacious and in fairly good condition. The door opening to the bathroom is hard to navigate with the room door. They have a nice counter area inside the room, along with a microwave and refrigerator. The breakfast was sort of weak- nothing healthy to eat there. I enjoyed my stay and felt it was a decent value.

We got an attached double room that was spacious and loved the bathroom setup. Separate toilet/shower from sink to get ready! Clean!

The room was clean, but older. I would have liked the staff to tell us that the pool was at the back of the hotel rather than us driving in and seeing another building say indoor pool. It was like we had to go next door to use it which meant we stayed put. We asked for our garbage to be removed and they took just what was in the cans instead leaving all the fast food bags we had with our breakfast plates in it.

The staff at this location is super friendly. And the room was very clean. It is clear that this hotel is a bit older and in a less-developed part of Downtown San Antonio, however I feel like the hotel staff is doing an excellent job with the upkeep of the building, and I never felt unsafe at any point during my stay.

Dverything went wrong at this hotel. When we first checked it and went to our room, the bathroom light was like a strobe light. We told the front desk and they moved us to another room. The second room, the fridge was not working and the shower head sprayed all over, soaking the entire room. We informed the front desk and they said they would move us.... again ..... but we would have to do it right at that moment. This was not an option as we were heading out the door. I asked for a manager two seperate days and there was no one on sight. We were locked out of the hotel and our room 6 times! 6 times i had to have my room key redone. Horrible. And received zero apologies.

The staff was friendly, and the room was clean. However, the rooms feature very outdated furniture, which detracts from the overall aesthetic and cleanliness. For me the pictures show more of a polish up image compared to what you receive. Additionally, the parking area felt somewhat unappealing to my preferences.

When we came to check in, no one was there. We had to call them on the phone. The first room smelled and the toilet didn’t work. Someone came to fix the toilet but could not. We had to get a new room. The next morning there was banging on the door. We had to get up to answer the door. It was someone to fix the toilet! We told them the problem was in our old room, not this one. We went to eat at 9:15 with 45 minutes left. They were out of eggs and sausage. And the area that the hotel was in was sketchy

This is an okay hotel. The staff is VERY FRIENDLY! Probably the best part of the stay. The beds were also very comfy. You have to request housekeeping by ten a.m. if you want it. The pool is indoors but cold. The breakfast is the same every day. They use some kind of mint in their cleaning, so if you are sensitive to mint, you will struggle!

Everything was great! The staff was very courteous, the room was very clean and spacious and the breakfast was great as well! The staff made sure the food trays were not empty at any time! We enjoyed our stay and definitely will continue to do so in our trips to San Antonio!

The room had a musky odor, decor seemed dated, felt like it needed a deep clean, hot tub was closed, continental breakfast continued to be way over crowded both days. Only plus was staff worked hard and were kind.

The only reason we stayed in this hotel is it’s near downtown, and budget friendly compared to the nearer hotels but the breakfast is not too great. Very minimal dining and limited menu that too get completed before the allotted time

Everything was pretty clean the one reason though we booked the hotel was because of the hot tub and then it was not working, which that was one of the exciting things that my son wanted to do while we were there and I don’t like how it’s not on their website that it’s not working he was upset other than that I guess it was all right. Breakfast was kind of basic only had a few options. Definitely been too better.

We enjoyed our suite very much. We were three friends on a trip to SA and it was nice to not have to book two separate rooms. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and beds were very comfy. Only thing we noticed was the toilet had a leak at the base of the tank that ran each time we flushed. We did notify the front desk, and it did not affect our stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful, always greeted us with a smile, even if we ran into them in the hallways or parking lot. Appreciate the smoking area in the back parking lot; it is nicely set up with benches under the beautiful tree. We would definitely stay here again.

The sheets had some brown substance on them. I phoned the front desk and they wanted me to come down to get new sheets. I was there alone in my pajamas so definitely not doing that. She eventually brought them up. No apology or anything. I was exhausted and shouldn’t have had to make a whole bed late at night.

Location of hotel was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. However my room had no towel racks to hang towels on. I think since the hotel was recently remodeled they just hadn't gotten to hanging them up.

I was worried when I read the recent reviews of this hotel but everything was great. Clean, quiet, good breakfast selection. The location is industrial but I was just looking for a reasonably priced place to sleep and this fit the bill. Recommend!

This was a second stay for us because we enjoyed our first stay. However on our second stay, the hot tub wasnt working, the room was dirty. There were dirty socks from the previous guests in the corner of the room. Furniture was dilapidated. No table by the couch, which we had had previously and enjoyed. Our neighbor was constantly smoking on his balcony which wafted into our room. And we were situated over the pool and could hear people screaming from there. Breakfast was good, but the area is crowded and its hard to navigate when everyone comes to eat. Overall an uncomfortable experience. Will not stay again as the price does not match the value.

The hotel was next to a kennel so I heard dogs barking upon arrival and during the night. The hot tub was broken and the pool was not heated as stated. Our door was not closing properly and the a/c unit was so loud we couldn’t sleep. The breakfast was very limited and they seemed to run out of things and not want to replace. Upon arrival, the area did not look like the pictures on the internet. It was more outdated than the pictures portrayed. I don’t think that I want to stay there ever again.

Our view from the balcony overlooked an old rundown property next-door. Our door to our room did not work well. The hot tub was not working. I don’t know how this property gets a rating of 8.4. I would rank it in the sixes.

Had a room on the 3rd floor by the main road in front, got in late from the airport. The next morning dogs were barking at 7AM, from a kennel across the street. Noisy business across the street.

The property may not seem like much from the outside but the lobby and rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was exceptional, and the property is in a good location close to downtown attractions and southtown.

Everyone was exceptional. We had spent a week in Galveston and this was so much more affordable and clean! It was refreshing to smell bleach in the bathroom. My mom has mobility issues and the housekeeper put us in a different room that was closer to the elevator. She handled the rest. It was the best nights rest I had all week.

The hotel was quiet, the room was very clean, and check in was easy. Parking was very inconvenient. It was located at one end of the hotel and required you to walk to the opposite end of hotel for the elevator. The bathroom design was not very efficient. There were no rods to hang towels and not enough counter. Space. One of the bolts on the toilet seat was rusted through causing the seat to wobble back-and-forth. I would not stay there again mostly because of the parking and bathroom inconveniences.

The staff from the initial check in to the house keeping were very friendly. The rooms where cleaned and smelled very sanitized. If I had a complaint it would be the breakfast , everyday was the same sausage & eggs. I would definitely stay again.

Just stayed one night as a quick stop to see the Alamo. It was convenient to downtown and the sights. No frillls room but clean and maintained. The breakfast area needs a lot of work. It is set up poorly causing congestion and awkward seating. The food could’ve been ok but things weren’t working- like the yogurt machine. They just need to rearrange for flow.

I loved the property!

Overall stay was fine and comfortable. However, parking and entry into the hotel wasn’t the best. I was traveling with my elderly mother and the parking (mostly all to the back of the hotel) and closest hotel entrance to the parking area was inconvenient.

I understand it’s an old property but should be renovated by time to time . The minute we entered into our room , a very bad smell ( like pee) was there . It must be from the old carpeted floor. The front desk attendant was very good and professional.

Family trip. Hotel was an older hotel but well maintained. We reserved 2 king beds with sleeper sofa. We got a loft room which worked out great. There was a bedroom with king size bed and 1/2 bath upstairs and a bedroom with king size bed and sleeper sofa and full bath downstairs.

I have to say I was definitely pleasantly surprised. The hotel is close to the River Walk. Everything was so clean! The staff were terrific and so helpful. The breakfast wasn't too good as far as options and taste. The only negative thing besides breakfast was the bed had a hard mattress and hurt our backs pretty bad. I don't know if all the beds are the same but if they are that would be the only reason we won't go back. Most Everything else was fantastic. Even had an indoor pool and hot tub.

My vehicle was broken down and it was the weekend. I had to rent another vehicle to get home. The manager allowed me to keep my vehicle on the property until the repair facility could tow it. VERY helpful!!

Can hear everything upstairs of us starting at 1:40AM, noises Lasted for a long time; we could not sleep.

We were only here for one night for a concert. Took a shower next morning and found out then that the tub would fill with water as you took a shower. Had to get out if the shower and wash my feet from outside the tub. This was at 10am and we were to check our at 12pm. No, we did not complain in that instance cause we were not going to gather all of our stuff to move to another room to shower in within an 1 and a half to check out by the time we got settled. When we took out the sheets for the pull out sofa some dirty stuff came out of the sheets that i cannot describe. We ended up using some of the blankets we brought instead. The final thing was the a/c took forever to cool down the room. Just for context, when we got to the hotel, all we did was check in, put our stuff in the room and left to the concert. When I told the front desk at check out, they took my concerns to heart. They even mentioned that i should have told them about the bathroom righr away and they would have moved us. Again, with the time contraint and all of our stuff out, it didnt seem feesible to move to another room at that time. Not a great in room experience.

We were there for 2 nights. The bathroom had some cleanliness issues when we got there. We bought Clorox wipes and cleaned the affected area. Breakfast was good the first day but the eggs were colder and the bacon was gone the second day.

The desk clerks were very accommodating. Rooms were nice and clean.

Around 1.4 mile walk to Alamo but other items worth stopping for along the way making it easy. Also able to walk probably the last .4 mile on Riverwalk if desired. Staff was kind, breakfast was well attended to.

The room is really spacious. The breakfast area needs to be more clean.

Great service at the front desk. Hot tub not bubbling. People had 2 young children in the hot tub naked. No clothing at all. Good breakfast missing fruit and coffee maker at the lobby
