The room was clean I was put in a smoking room since they had no double rooms left, although my reservation was for a non-smoking double room......I'm allergic to smoke and use a CPAP at night and it was horrible

It's near Blue Star and the southern part of Riverwalk. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable enough. And it was cheap. Clean, comfortable, and quiet room. My only minor issue is that there are no restaurants or stores within the immediate area. Walking to restaurants sometimes required passing entrance and exit ramps to highways.

Exactly what I was looking for! I clean quiet place to sleep. Front desk was kind and accommodating. Room was clean and orderly. No frills, and just what I needed.

Ron was pretty clean, but some features a bit dated. Staff was very friendly.

Spacious room comfy beds. Deposit of $15 for remote and room key but given back when checked out. Only thing is it’s located on a busy street so you hear cars zooming by frequently.

Despite what some might say it was a pretty quiet 2 days. No one is in everyone’s business which is shocking considering the amount of rooms on property. Yes they do come off as rude sometimes (owners & MNGMNT)but it’s not their intention there is a language barrier. All in all I found my downtown place

Our stay was great! The lady in the office was super nice, the room was nice and very clean. And it’s pretty close to the Riverwalk. We found our new go-to hotel when visiting San Antonio.

Didnt have any soap you had to put deposit for remote for TV and deposit for the key room so what there trying to do is make money on the side when I already booked the room online

Great budget option for a stay in San Antonio. The owners are very nice and the price is right. There is a bus stop not too far away which will take you to the Riverwalk area. It is not fancy, just a budget place that is nice.

The room looked clean but the bedding was old and stained. I slept on top of the blankets. Went to make coffee and a roach appeared. No coffee for me. There is a close gas station that i was able to get coffee.

Upon arrival, I was asked to provide a deposit for "TV remote" use and keycard. Yes, these were returned upon checkout. Some advance notice would have been good for booking. Check-in was easy overall. The room I was assigned had similar pictures to the ones provided online at booking. The TV and additional amenities were a bit off. The room was generally clean, but could use some areas for improvement. I recommend using flip-flops when walking around the room, as the staff does not appear to thoroughly clean the floors. I had no issue exchanging and asking for extra towels. Plenty of parking. I was informed by several UBER drivers that the area is safe. Check-out was just as easy, and my deposit was returned when I handed in the "TV remote" and keycard.

It was a quiet, residential area close to the riverwalk. It was my partner and me, two adults; we felt safe with nice and attentive staff and a simple rental car. Room was nice and clean. Free parking. The area between the hotel and the Riverwalk area might seem a little sketchy, so I would recommend driving to the Riverwalk instead, but everything is close by. A restful place to sleep if that is all you need. Price was excellent.

The place is nice, basic and really clean !! Do not expect breakfast of any kind. It was a plus to have a mini fridge and a microwave in the room. Please be prepared to have 15 dollars cash for deposit of room keys and tv remote control. You will get that money back upon departure. The check out time is very strict and if you need longer time the 20 dollars will be charged for even one hour after the check out time. Felt safe and comfortable in the premises. Thanks for keeping the place so nice !

The bedspread looked new. An old hotel (50s or 60s) in very good condition. The bathroom had the most damage, but it was very clean. The water was nice and hot. The other tenants were sooo quiet, I didn’t hear anybody talking, having sex, and no one woke up at 6 am to start yelling to people in the room from their car. It smelled like bleach, so if that bothers your allergies, maybe you should steer clear. I would have liked a lower price because the photos made it look lots newer. It’s about a mile walk to the Historic Market and that was easy. Another bit to the Riverwalk and to the Marriott was a little long, but only one foot hurts tonight. The bed was perfect, or maybe I was tired. Also be prepared to pay a key and tv remote deposit, which you get back if returned. Thanks for the best room I’ve had in SA for a while.

This is a "Sam & Dean" motel (Supernatural). We love the simplicity of this accommadation. The woman the checked is in and I suspect owns the place, was very nice. She made sure we had clean towels daily and cleared out the trash too. This little place is convenient to get to downtown San Antonio easily and we paid a very nice rate considering all other accommodations were $200 a night. We were there for The Final Four. If you like clean and simple this is the perfect place to stay

The area is on a busy road and didn’t see many places around for food. Overall, it was a good place for a few nights but know that there’s not much around.

Unplanned event. Needed a place to rest for the night before a drive home. The rooms were a little noisy when other guests closed their doors. And the some of the linen didn't look clean. Overall a good experience from booking with HOTELS, check-in, and the stay overnight.

I SHOWED HER MY CONFIRMATION MESSAGES AND SHE STILL INSISTED THAT SHE DIDN'T HAVE MY RESERVATIONS! SHE WAS VERY HESITANT ABOUT GIVING ME MY ROOM AND ROOM KEY AND EVENTUALLY GAVE IT TO ME!

I felt safe at the location, well lit parking lot, fenced in.

Bad: location outside of the city and waking felt uncomfortable at night. The small of the room?! Fabuloso smelt so overpowering, that I could not sleep and my eyes were hurting. No night lights by the bed- you needed to turn on big lights. Clogged sink. Light warm water not hot. Noise from the highway was bad and all for the price of $182 for two nights! I did not get much sleep at this place. I would recommend a place closer to the city.

Bathroom was not very clean- floor and area around tub Had an almost unbearable smell of cleaning supplies- floor cleaner. I am sensitive to smells, and it made me nauseous and gave me a headache.

Both my husband and myself were completely happy with our over all stay. From check in to check out! At check in, we got there before 3 pm and then gentlemen upgraded our room because our original wasn5t ready, but for no extra charge. He was so friendly and even brought my DL to the room after forgetting it in the office. We will definitely be back for our next stay in San Antonio. It was quirt the whole night, we felt safe and the room smelled amazing!!

I didn't like that. I waited 10 minutes for somebody to do my checkout, and nobody responded to the doorbell. I had to just leave there the remote and the key, without me, getting my deposit back which I still don't understand why you have to leave a deposit for the remote and the key so I just had to leave, without my deposit.

It's affordable, specially through Expedia. Overall is a 3 star place. Staff is friendly and helpful. Deposit is 15 (cash better so you can get it back at checkout.) Theres a gas station within walking distance and bus service at the corner. I like going to them.

It's a decent motel for the price. The rooms have a fridge and microwave if i remember right. I wosh they had more toiletries lofe shampoo they do have i just wish they had more. Rooms seemed to be recently remodeled and are clean. Staff is friendly and charge a little deposit but you get it back once the key and remote are tirned in. Cash is better so you can get back faster. Overall, i like this place. I've been there twice already. Also police station is down the street. Can get any safer than that. Bus line just at the corner too. I recommended it if you want to save money and want something decent. It always been quiet the times ive been there.

Great check in and the room was clean and the property was somewhat private, even being in a bad neighborhood there was no questionable people hanging out around the property. The issue arised when it came to check out time. First off it was pouring rain right before check out. So we called and asked if we could check out late without having to pay extra because we were moving slow after driving from Florida and we have a roof bag on our car and didn't want to try and pack everything into our vehicle in the rain. The guy that answered said that we could have until 12. we had all of our belongings outside the room and next to our car a little after 12. When I went to return the room key and remote I was told that I couldn't get my deposit back because we were 2 hours late when it wasnt even 12:30 yet. I said that we are out of the room but she said we were still loading our car even though nothing is in the room. After saying that I need my deposit back for gas she then says I can only have 10 because I destroyed the room and moved the bed. Not sure why she thinks we moved the bed because if she had looked in the room she would have seen it was spotless and everything was in the same place as when we checked in. I was told to never book a room there again and honestly I wouldn't want to after how I was treated.

There was no attendant when I arrived. I called the number listed multiple times with no answer. After 20 mins of waiting someone finally came to the desk. They demanded that I pay twice. I showed the clerk my receipt from expedia but she still demanded I pay again. I told her I would not pay twice so she refused to give me a room. I didnt even get to stay the night there.

The property managers are incredibly nice. The hotel is clean and very convenient to downtown and access to freeways
