Our room condition was fair. Our room (222) smelled very humid as we entered. Wooden floor was sticky. Tub spout connection was very loose with 2 large cracks on wall from it. Shower water pressure was low, not sure because of it. Water temperature went down fast when I was taking a shower too-I kept the highest temp but it was just warm enough. It was good enough for quick 1 night stay.

The ease of finding the hotel was good but the sign for the hotel is near to the steakhouse next door. We and several others pulled into the steakhouse and had to U-turn out to the proper drive way. The staff was exceptionally friendly and courteous. Their foreign accent was somewhat difficult to understand at times but they were always customer oriented. The hot breakfast was well stocked and attended to. The hotel was neat and clean. However, in our first room our ice bucket not cleaned and had a blob of trash in it, It didn’t have a tv remote, and during the night part of the ceiling fell down because it was wet. We were on the top floor. We rearranged the furniture to keep it dry and put a trash can under the drip. There was mold in the bathroom ceiling. The electrical power was out for hours during the night. This meant no heating or cooling, no battery charging for our next busy day and no electricity for my oxygen machine. The next day we were moved to another room across the hall. Our son’s truck was vandalized in the hotel parking lot during the storm and hotel stated it is not their responsibility. Also because of the loss of power they had no camera coverage. All in all it is a good hotel when it is not raining.

The hotel was great the only thing is that there is no control in the Pool area or hot tub. We wanted to relax in the hot tub and there were kids jumping in and out of the hot tub with no supervision.

Parking convenient and very attentive staff

The breakfast there was also good and there was always someone there keeping the area clean and sanitized. The area around the hotel is great with lots of restaurants around it and everything is pretty close so you don’t have to drive too far on those crazy San Antonio streets! And their parking spaces are very large so all the big trucks were spaced apart a good distance! No trouble pulling out of luggage’s and car seats! Thank you for a great stay!

I liked the indoor pool and complimentary breakfast. I didn’t like the condition the room was in when we checked in. The staff also had no control of the lobby, kids were playing right in front of the front desk, people were stealing food from the store inside and kids were blocking the front entrance.

Very friendly and helpful staff

Pancake made to order. Fresh bewed coffee, sausage links, grits hot cinnamon rolls, fresh muffins. Seasoned potatoes, mini egg omelets. Room very comfortable and spacious. Staff super friendly.

The night time staff was more sitting around in the lobby then being at the front desk. The elevator was dirty and sounded a little creepy. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The mattress was also much to hard for my liking. That said, I would go again and just request a room farther from the main area. The pool was nice, though i felt a bit too much chlorine (my eyes were burning some). Breakfast was fantastic.

Small hotel, breakfast ends at 9:30am, it would've been nice if it could have ended at 10am. Floors near elevator were dirty, there was a eaten chicken wing in the floor of the elevator all night. Pool was green not clear. Parking was good, room was clean, beds were comfortable. Housekeeping was very nice. Good place for the price I paid.

One of the best stays I ever had! Friendly, courteous, fast paced check in, beds were comfy, nearby airport, nearby lackland afb (reason for our stay), nearby shops and restaurants, best breakfast food we looked fwd to eating each morning and the general manager is all hands on deck- went in to cook the bacon when it ran out and line started building up, we really didn’t mind waiting. Look fwd to our next stay here if ever in San Antonio again!!

Pretty nice hotel. Cleanliness could have been better in common areas but the room was clean and comfortable. Parking was good and plentiful. Hotel was close to shopping and restaurants. Staff was courteous.

The first time I went to shower there was black hair in the walls and the curtains. The floors were dirty. They hadn't been swept in a couple of days. They didn't clean the room because they said we had put out a "Do not disturb sign". We didn't. Would not recommend

There was a piece of metal sticking out from the bottom of one of the beds that we kept catching our ankles on. The continental breakfast was disappointing. Not much variety and cold.

Had a really great experience staying at the Holiday Inn in San Antonio! The staff was awesome — friendly and helpful throughout. The WiFi was strong and reliable, and the location couldn’t be better — just minutes from SeaWorld. Would definitely stay here again!

I would not recommend. The hotel building looked pretty ran down. The upkeep was horrible. My family and I traveled 9 hours and made it to the hotel early, around 3am. The first room given to us smelled awful. The smell had us standing in the hallway. I immediately went downstairs, and they switched us to another room. This room smelled bad as well, but not like the first room. Room service never came to the room to clean or provide fresh towels. For breakfast, my mom ended up drinking spoiled milk that made her sick the entire stay. Oh, and that same morning, there was a stranger who walked up to us and advised us to check our vehicles because his truck had been broken into, and he was told it was the 3 incident that happened there that week! I regret wasting my time and money here; it was the worst experience ever.

Not what I anticipated according to rating and reviews and deceptive property photos. For the price I could have done better...

The property was a bit dated but the price reflects. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were accommodating. They also had complementary breakfast and coffee. I didn’t have time to use the amenities. There were restaurants and a movie theater near. It was only 15 minutes to the base.

Great stay overall! Staff was friendly, beds were comfy, and breakfast was a nice bonus. The location is perfect for SeaWorld. Only downside was the carpet in the room—it looked a bit dirty. Other than that, everything else was great and we’d definitely stay again.

The staff and service are very friendly. Breakfast was good- especially the pancakes. The reason I gave three stars was that my room smelled like a wet dog … musty smell. This is an older hotel with some updates but the smell of the room was unpleasant. The bedding and the rooms were very clean kept. I did have an allergic reaction from day one- I believe it was from the towels. They could be using a detergent that I am sensitive to. Overall, the stay was satisfactory.

It was ok the rooms and the hotel itself needs maintenance. The pool had to much chlorine was burning my eyes. The rooms felt humid for some reason . It’s an ok if people are not picky at all . Front desk was good to the morning lady and a guy in the night but there was one lady in the afternoon very rude she told me to insert my card and I asked why she needed my card since I paid my stay thru a third party and she answer very rude . Definitely not staying here again it’s just an honest opinion (facts) not trying to talk thru emotions

You must be aware that the bathroom mirrors with lighting around the perimeter is a very poor arrangement. The man cannot see properly to shave and with today’s emphasis on bald heads, it makes it very difficult to shave because of the glare concerning the fan, you have no way to turn it off without putting yourself in the dark so you either suffer with the loud obnoxious fan to see are you stay in the dark. Put the fan on a separate switch they get to eat in bed

Carpet was so dirty that it turned our socks black. The linen on the bed is either not being changed or the laundry is not cleaning it, hair on the linen.

The hotel had convenient location to get on and off the Interstate.

The only concern is the air conditioner unit was very loud doing the day and more at night. I woke up thinking it was a truck. But, everything was great.

One elevator sucks. Sofa bed needed replacement very uncomfortable. Staff were phenomenal. Facility was clean. Location was perfect for Seaworld.

We checked in Sunday night, first issue is there was no shower curtain in the bathroom. I called the front desk and he kindly asked for me to come downstairs and grab one. He said he could not leave his place in case another guest showed up. The second issue was when we checked the sheets, the linens had not been changed, there were stains on the pillow cases, we took them downstairs to request for new sheets. They offered a new room which I checked before moving my entire family at midnight. I did not pay to come make my own bed and put up my own shower curtain. Thanks for doing the right thing. The breakfast and the patio views are the best part of this stay and saved it. The pool is big, has a hot tub attached but it all looks dingy. There is a strong smell of chlorine that it eventually burns your eyes. If you’re wondering if this is a good place to try and get down work done? Wrong! The cleaning person will sweep under your feet and get so close to you that you can smell what he had for breakfast. He was so loud when he replaced the trash bags for all 8 cans, just lack of awareness.

It was convenient location and close to restaurants. But the rooms are a bit old and didn't look too clean it was ok for one night.

The hotel area is good, and the staff is friendly, but they ask many questions if you request extra towels. Every morning, we experienced the fire alarm going off.

Overall the stay was good and breakfast although not a great selection was included which is nice. The TV remote did not work, I even changed the battery provided by the front desk and it still did not work. No new remote was provided even though I informed the front desk within minutes of me checking in. I notified the manager the morning of check out to the manager about the situation, in the two days I stayed for a work related I did not use the TV bc I was not able to control it and had to physically get up and manually change it every time. I did appreciate the manager asking how my stay was and I was able to leave feedback and he seemed generally interested to know.

Definitely more of a Motel 6 or Days Inn property. Definitely not what I expected for $150 a night. Very worn down. Showers/paint peeling, old and worn. Room had smoke odor to it. For someone with sensitive smell,could be bothersome. If air is off smells like a wet room. Smells like bleach when you walk in but I don’t mind that smell. Laundry is right behind front desk hence the smell. Breakfast was good,area was clean. Area was good for on and off access. Movie theater right behind hotel. Steakhouses right next door and a cool mall around the overpass. Other reviews mentioned being dark in parking lot. I didn’t find that. Didn’t seem as sketchy as reviews although some company trucks with tools parked right in front of the entrance so maybe there is truth to those mentions. I would have chosen to stay at the Marriott directly in front of this property if I had to stay in the area again. Almost same price and I can’t imagine the property being more worn than this one. Beds and sheets were clean so that was a plus. Front desk clerks were friendly.

Room had some funny smell in it. Bath shower curtain was loose and used to move all to center while taking shower. besides reporting two time at the reception desk issue was not fixed.

They broke into our car in straight daylight. We asked to see the cameras and a big tree is covering the camera. funny way of positioning the cameras.

The room was clean but smelled damp. I could have lived through that. They had some very weird people yelling the strangest things and making grunting growling sounds…totally weird. After three hours of that I checked out and told the lady up front to be careful. Went across the street to another Hotel and it was quiet.

Friendly staff, good breakfast omelets, sausage, pancakes were all good. Coffee was good. Room was clean. Housekeeping was very polite. They can one day when we were still there they knocked and asked what we would like for them to do. Only issue was the chlorine in the pool and hot tub was too strong burnt our eyes and caused sneezing and coughing on second day. I notified the front desk staff and the next day it wasn’t as bad. In a good location with many restaurants to choose from along with being close to Walmart and Sea World. Would stay again.

The fiest thing we noticed was how clean it looked and smelled. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice and my kids lived the pancake maker.

The front desk was very friendly during check in and overall when we entered the room it looked good. The only issue we had was the cleanliness of the beds. It does not seem like they washed the sheets as they were stained and had multiple hairs on it on top and under the comforter. The bed headboards we're also extremely dusty.

Breakfast wasn’t all that. The indoor pool area was not enticing. Bathroom sink stopped up and our tv didn’t work. The suite was definitely not a suite.

Staff was friendly but facility very run down. Hot tub not open, pool area & pool dirty (pool dirty with gross film on top). Room carpets had multiple staines, furniture damaged and/or missing.
