Woke up to 2 cockroaches by the fridge, was able to get one and the other ran under the fridge, must be an issue there, went to shave that morning and the bathroom sink was plugged up.

The hot tub that I asked where it was ( I was told it was outside -, which it was, but it was also broken and full of bugs and grime - which would have been nice to know before I made my way down there ready to soak my tired bones in my swimsuit). And the maids were knocking on my door even though I had a do not disturb sign on the door and well before the checkout time of 11:00. Overall a VERY POOR experience. Do yourself a favor and don't book here. There are other and better options not to far away.

The hotel was not very clean. Headboard was sticky, shower curtain was moldy. The room only had one regular coffee pod and we were not able to get another.

Honestly, I will never be staying at this hotel again. It's probably the worst holiday I've ever stayed in. Besides the building looking like it's going to fall apart due to water damage. I was moved three different times and stayed in three different rooms on different floors, and each room had a problem of its own. The first was that the toilet was more like a rocking chair. And I asked to be moved, and they without question moved me. The second room I was in was larger. But look like it hadn't been clean since the hotel was open. And besides that, having to kill several roaches in my time there. It was also a bit unexpected and the third room was a suite as they changed me to that after I reviewed about the cleanliness in the overall air quality of that room. I was moved to the suite where it seemed clean. However, there was a large crack in the ceiling. The shower was a bit sketchy to use, and all in all my synopsis. Is this property has severe water damage. You can hear it when you turn the shower on or the sink.Even in the second room I was in there was water coming out of the countertop.In the kitchenette and the air conditioning was non-existent. The room was hotter than it was outside and there's a sign that says do not turn below 70. And I'm sorry, but I'm a man that likes my room at 69° and outside of the room issues, there was no restaurant on-site. They only did breakfast and it was subpar.no bar and not a safe area to be. The staff is awesome for sure. Rebuild.

Breakfast was not good at all especially for the high price.

The whole hotel had a bad odor. The tub in our room wasn’t very clean and the lighting in all the hotel was way too dim. It didn’t feel comfortable. The staff is very accommodating though. Their friendliness made up for the poor condition of the hotel.

The staff was amazing from the front counter(all shifts) to the breakfast staff. I feel like I hit them with so many unexpected issues my family had but they supported us very professionally. They were soo nice. I will stay here every time I come to San Antonio! The water was not hot in the first room we rented. They tried to comp, us but the hotel was fully booked. It was Spring Break and they still took good care of my family and I. They apologized and were able to make some last minute changes!

Wonderful customer service no breakfast. Parking was very easy and manageable.

Staff explained the situation, lack of technology. Did not have that technology to be a good business in a modern world. Therefore, a serious issue for lost o revenue. Of the idea is to prosper as a business, it must have the latest thecnology or at least inform the customer and other participants in this endeavors.

I would not recommend this hotel or stay here again. Seems like they have a sewage issue. We had to moved rooms. The tub in the first room drained very slowly and the pull out bed was disgusting. The second room were moved to was a downgrade and the sink had some disgusting gunk in it. Event the maintenance man was disgusted. That sink drained slowly too. They were supposed to come clear it out with a snake but never did. I needed a room to wash out my baby’s bottles and I didn't want his bottles to even touch the sink. They do very minimal cleaning. They need to replace a lot of the furniture that’s stained and get some plumbing done.

The gentleman at the front desk who checked us in was very friendly and the lady who works the breakfast area is very sweet, however we stayed for two night and there was almost never anyone at the front desk if you need help. The water in the shower never got hot and the tub was so slow to drain that you had 3 inches of water standing in it by the time your shower ended. The carpet and couches need a good scrub but I will say that the beds were clean. I did have to use the couch cushions in the window though as the black out shade was a good 6-8 inches too short and I was blinded by parking lot lights at night. Overall I think I will be finding some place else to stay and definitely a place that doesn’t charge for breakfast.

Room was not clean very well! In the corner of the room there was a used condom along with the wrapper. This tells me the cleaning staff did not do their correctly.

It was just a quick trip for my husband to take a class. They allowed me to stay late so I would have a place to stay during his class.

Room and amenities where good, unfortunately the staff was not welcoming at all. Giving 1 star based on staff only. The night front desk staff was extremely rude to the point of being disrespectful. Check in questions were rudely demanded and I was treated with an like I was a bother and not a paying client. I normally give the benefit of the doubt and thought that because it was late he might have been tired, but when we came back from dinner he was very nice to the check in group that had just arrived, not the same attitude I got from him just a couple of hours prior. Same thing the following day with my husband when he requested some additional blankets and other items, rude and crude, pointing at where to get items with an unpleasant attitude. The staff in the morning was not rude, just indifferent. At no point were we asked how our stay had been. I have been wanting to stay at this hotel for a while because if the convenience in location. But I honestly do not want to go back to be treated like a nuisance. No hospitality at all. This has been one of the worst experiences with staff I have had in a while.

When a staff member finally showed up, his attitude was tense and unwelcoming. Every time we approached the desk, he seemed irritated and confrontational. Instead of resolving concerns professionally, the situation escalated unnecessarily, and police involvement was even mentioned — which was shocking given that we were simply paying guests expecting basic service. Management should seriously review how guest interactions are handled. Hospitality requires professionalism and respect, and unfortunately, that was not our experience here. I would not recommend staying at this property. His name was Steve and his manager never knew what was happening!!

I think it’s in a really good location close to a lot of restaurants. The bear was horrible the pillows it feels like everything is really old and we’re down the bathroom. Could really use some updating too. Also, I really need to fix the ice machine on the second floor. They didn’t like having to go to another four just to get ice.

Staff was terrible, tried calling since I was going to arrive after hours and kept ignoring my calls or kept putting me on hold. Therefore I didn’t get to check in after all.

We have stayed in this property 3 times before, everything was fine.BUT this time was horrible, check in was awful, the attitud of the person in the front desk was terrible, then we got into the room and found alot of hairs in the shower i mean ALOT, like they were there on purpose, obviously not on purpose, but somebody didnt even look in there. We called the front desk and again terrible attitude, told us someone was coming, never came, went down to front desk, asked what was happening and agian terrible, made me feel like it was my fault, and was asking for too much, finally asked for another room, he gave me the keys, new room was just ok, smaller and still some hairs in the shower. Elevators need maintenence. Location is very good, but would not come back.

Staff was very nice. Room was not clean. Sheets were never changed after 8 night stay. No hot water just warm and some gross findings on the headboard. Ended up checking out a night early. Staff was very nice. It’s just a bit run down now. will look for somewhere else next time

The couch, rug and headboard were stained. We found many hairs in the bed. Muggy smell. My allergies got triggered by the smell.

The check-in was quick, did have to wait cause of others being helped but once it was my turn very quick. The room was nice a bit tight but beds were vary comfortable and quiet, the breakfast was good for a continental breakfast, but we only got breakfast tickets for two of the three guests, and would have had to pay extra for all of us to have breakfast together. I understand charging for anyone not staying but when booking I put there was three adults. Only other point was the shower head could not move it and because the shower was placed high it was impossible to not be in the jet of water to soap up. Over all good stay would come back

First of all the staff front desk awesome specially, Steven and the cleaning crew very nice. This review goes to management. This hotel is outdated. Shower curtain didn’t fit well.water splash outside..After a long day of meetings .no hot water..just warm water. Traffic is ridiculous..very congested. The bedroom curtain are Not blackout curtains. Light comes in as soon as sunrise comes in. There is no free breakfast. It’s buffet breakfast $12.95 and $6.95 for kids certain age. The TV doesn’t have cable channels just local channels and the audio on some channels not clear. You do get 2 hbo channels but can’t connect to Netflix or other apps and volume only goes up to certain volume. It doesn’t have a guide channel on remote so you don’t know what all shows are on. You need to use channel up or down. If you don’t mind none of this and you want to go to Six Flags theme park or La Cantera shopping center. This is the hotel to stay if you don’t mind the craziness of traffic and everything else I mentioned. Peace

Very clean, comfortable, and room very spacious! Staff attentive and friendly. Greeted with a smile eveytime we passed. Free popcorn in the lobby nightly was a very nice touch. Rooms were nice and cold. Restroom very clean and up to date. There was Dove shampoo, conditioner and bodywash in the shower. Stayed 3 nights and rooms were cleaned and restocked daily. Close to our destination and area was nice.

Value price for the area. However the pool was drained and not in service. The Keurig coffee maker was broken. How do I make Camomile tea at bedtime with a Keurig coffee maker? Throw those Keurig machines in the trash and just have a simple coffee maker. The smallest TV for a room I have had in 15 years of travel. The "Bar" in the lobby area was not open. Staff was excellent.

The only things I had issues with was the toilet not flushing correct and the tub filling up with water while I was showering. I don't like to be in dirty water that I've washed off my body. Besides that everything else was extremely exceptional.

Stay was real good i am just wondering how may bill ended up beigh so high. I thought i had applied a payment of 100 dollars but no one has helped me with that. The rest was the incidental.

The property must be poorly built because I stayed on the 3rd floor and was kept awake by the person above me. I couldn’t call the front desk because the phone in the room did not connect to the front desk and at 2am I didn’t have the phone number!

This hotel is the definition of "not my problem". The only person I found doing their job well was the lovely woman who made sure everyone paid for the mediocre breakfast. The sink was half enameled, there was paint down the walls in the bathroom, the shower curtain was damaged. I attempted to change rooms to be faced with still damaged shower curtains and mold around the tub. There is no taking pride in this location. And when confronted with the problem it was essentially a shrug. Their customer service is not set up to have repeat customers. I have been an IGH member for decades- and I am considering to change loyalty for myself and staff based on this location.

Property was close to medical facility for procedure to be done following day. Hotel didn’t smell the greatest, waited 10 minutes or so to check in because no one was at the front desk, pool wasn’t clean, lobby needed some refreshing.

The rooms and the swimming pool were nice. My only complaint is that very little water would come out from the shower head, so it would take us a long time to take a shower.

Folks were in the hot tub at 11p and we were told we couldnt go in because it closed at 10p. Only when we asked did the clerk tell everyone the pool was closed

Basic Holiday Inn. Main lobby and common areas were fine. Rooms definitely in need of deep cleaning especially the bathroom.

It was a pleasant 4-day stay the Personnel were courteous and professional the only issue we had was the shower clogging and they were on it Johnny on the spot within 5 minutes someone was there looking at it left got tools and was done within 30 minutes fastest I've ever seen a service call answered. Good job IHG.

The property was clean both inside and out. The "added Security Features" that were very evident outside is a huge plus! The room I was in #306 was clean, fresh, no problems at all. In fact. I even forgot I was in a hotel!

This place was a bit dated and lacked the hospitality and comfort that we have received at other IHG properties. It was probably the worst Holiday Inn we have stayed in. With the ice machine not working on the ground floor (two ladies at the front desk cared more about their conversation than to address the concern), the kid next door waking up what was probably half the hotel on the lower level, and the short shower curtain in the shower practically creating a lagoon in the bathroom and hallway outside, this hotel will be hard to top as the worst one on our Expedia bookings. I can honestly say that the best part of our stay was pulling out of the parking lot.

We were on the second floor and the room was not that clean and the blackout screen was ripped to shreds. when you did open the curtain, you saw the roof top with storm debris and liter.

The beds in the room were terrible. They are either broken or need an adjustment but they were very noisy. If one of the kids or us shifted in the bed, it would make a loud noise that would wake us up. The property is clean and the customer service was excellent but didn’t get sleep.

Changed 3 rooms with 2 little kids at 10 pm i the night...just to find all the 3 rooms have dirty linen and towels.. is this acceptable? Absolutely not.. didnt want to create a fuss at 10 pm as kids were already sleepy. What kind of service os this?

The door lock did not work with a key so I had to go down twice and then call front desk to come unlock. It would only unlock with managers key. I was staying in the room until morning and they were full, so I told the guy I would stay if they discounted the room. Then when we got inside, the couch was all stained, lights by the bed and plugs did not work, tile floor was cracked and fridge was leaking. And when I checked out they did not take any off the room and told me I’d have to pay and then call back to talk to a manager for a discount on room as promised. Not a good experience at all for a $200 room.

It was nice just wish the bathroom was cleaner. It had hair in the sink and old stains from someone else body wash.

Gentlemen working at the desk seemed to be sick. Was coughing a lot did not sanitize his hand while working with customers. He was friendly. Room was nice bed was very uncomfortable.

The room wasn’t the cleanest. The lamps and plugs didn’t work, it was very dark. I had a pillow with blood stains on it. One bed was good and the other was like an elephant slept in it for 6 weeks. The pull out bed was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!!! The staff was great though and the breakfast was good. Right next to a Sam’s and Walmart. The Walmart is pretty sketchy though at night!

Bagels in the breakfast area were hard as a rock and I don't know why they put ice in the orange and apple juice containers. Luggage carts are old and broken also.
