    This hotel is only 10 minutes by car from downtown, which is good. I didn’t expect to pay for parking. Breakfast was the same every day. The pools were dirty and the jacuzzi didn’t work. So, will stay in a hotel close to town if I wanted to visit again San Antonio. The hallway in the 16th floor was not vacuum in all our stay. We hope the administrators do a better job on this property. Staff was polite, so.

    Well this is my hotel of choice when visiting back home in San Antonio. My visit back on the weekend of May 29th the room had the previous guest towels hanging from the shower head which I thought was disgusting and unclean and my recent stay on June 5th weekend there was hair in the bed and for some reason none of the rooms I've ever stayed in drain properly so the water just rises while you're showering, so annoying.

    The only thing that was great was the price, but because it is very outdated. From entrance to rooms. Specifically the bathroom. The tub was old & painted. A huge renovation is needed & then paying $10 a day for parking was not worth it & no breakfast. Not even coffee. Oh well. U get what you pay for. Oh & if you don’t have a marriott membership you pay $10 a day of wifi. Crazy!! Not a very good experience.

    They put us in a dirty room with a broken bed on a floor that appeared to be devoid of other guests. There was pubic hair in the tub that had a dark ring around the bottom of it. Never expected this at The Westin.

    Cons: I was not happy with having to pay extra for parking per night. Bathtubs were very slippery with no mats or rails for older guests and was very slow to drain. One of the lamps was randomly going on and off - had to unplug it.

    The good part is that the room's environment was quite tranquil and peaceful. We could sleep a lot mainly because of that. Staff was always gentle. The bad part is that the room was rusty, a lot of things would not work. The interior design is not good. Amenities are not that good. In sum, I would not recommend booking a room in this hotel until some upscaling job is planned and executed.

    we have stayed at this same hotel yearly for over five years to celebrate anniversary event, this year the changes were disappointing, the cleanliness of the pool was lacking, garbage receptacles full throughout the facility , they had a open garbage can at the pool for overflow, the hot tub/jacuzzi at pool was not working, the bar outside at the pool was and has been closed for a while and dirty, the outdoor tv was not working when asked informed could not find remote so left off. the men's restroom was with out toilet paper and dirty had to ask twice , when complaints were made basically looked upon as a annoyance then a customer or guest. the fridge in our room barely kept drinks cool, this year we had to pay for wifi and for parking when in previous years did not. The decline in the hotel is obvious, poor maintenance, cleanliness issues and general apathy of customer service, my wife and I have decided not to return to hotel again despite our anniversary and will travel to non Marriott facility

    Location was great. Food within walking distance and airport not far away. Cleanliness of hotel room was unacceptable. The first room we were given smelled like mildew so we had to change rooms. The shower/bathtub was stained and it looked dirty. My husband went to the lobby to grab something to drink and when he came back up with two lemonades, he realized there were two fruit flies in one of the drinks. Thank god we didn’t drink them.

    I thought these hotels were supposed to be nice. The lady who checked us in was either having a terrible day or shouldn’t work in customer service. The rooms were nothing crazy and my mom’s didn’t even have body wash and the bathtub in ours was clogged. We requested a crib and it looked like a jail cell. No, we didn’t except a fancy crib but it was extremely outdated. Also have to pay for wifi and parking.

    Me and my wife really enjoyed our stay at the Westin. The only issue we had and I wouldn’t say it was and issue because it was fixed and attended to so quickly was not any more towels when we went to the pool. But I brought it to the fro t deal attention and they got on top of it quickly. Other than that the guy at the front desk was very helpful and we enjoyed the stay!

    The only downfall was that we had an event that we were attending to that was all morning and all afternoon and we could not order food to eat unless we were our room which meant we missed parts of the event and this event is not broke out in sessions because it was a powerlifting event.

    I stayed on the 3rd floor. The traffic was super loud. My friend on the 7th floor said they couldn't hear the traffic. The AC vents were closer to the bathroom nook area, not close to the bed. The AC kept turning off all night and the room did not stay cool. Older hotel, bathtub was peeling. The lobby/room had a weird scent. The beds were comfy like usual Westin. Pools and gym were nice.

    I stay here as often as I can when I come to San Antonio… It is a very nice hotel with very easy parking. It is always really clean. It is less expensive than the downtown/Riverwalk hotels and is not a far drive at all to those destinations.

    This hotel offers large rooms and a nice lobby. I liked the amenities but didn’t use them much because it was a busy weekend at the hotel. They have a sauna which is a nice touch and an outdoor hot tub. Some things are a little dated but overall it’s a great hotel and we enjoyed our experience.

    Hot tub should be only adults or when adults are present. Hot tub should be larger. There should be complimentary breakfast but there’s none. You pay for parking daily at the hotel but I guess that’s expected from San Antonio. Bar was good, good drinks. If you want a good bed, this is a good place for bed and drinks. Not really couple friendly more family friendly.

    Very very old , not too clean . The bedding had a strong strong scent of bleach I guess that’s ok to ensure they are clean but not very appealing. The Rio was extremely dark no good lighting at all. Very inconvenient that you had to use your room key for the elevator to work. Give 2 out of 5 stars would not stay again for that price .

    The hotel felt very outdated and not well maintained. Unfortunately, our comforter had visible blood stains on it, which was extremely concerning. After reporting it, it took about 45 minutes for staff to bring us clean sheets. I was very disappointed with how the situation was handled. There didn’t seem to be any sense of urgency or accountability—only explanations about being short staffed. The only compensation offered was complimentary breakfast, which did not feel appropriate given the situation. Overall, this experience left a very negative impression.

    Exterior of the hotel was riddled with glass bottles and crushed beer cans. The lobby and shared guest spaces were cluttered with trash and items that were not picked up for hours. The whole hotel experience left a lot to be desired. The furniture, fixtures and basically everything felt neglected. I would not recommend business or vacations guest to stay here

    Room smelled old and musty. Air conditioner didn’t work. We had to move rooms at 1:00am and the room we were moved to the AC also didn’t work. Couldn’t sleep due to the smell and the room being super hot. The shower was clogged up as well and the water wouldn’t drain. Overall terrible experience staying there. Definitely staying here again.

    The room was in dire need of updating. The furnishings were outdated and worn out. The base trim in the bedroom evidently had fallen off and was reattached with visible staples. The walls had gouges that had never been repaired. The staff was very friendly. I would not stay at this location again in it's present condition.

    Checked in- didn’t get room keys until 2 hours later, bad ( silence) communication at hotel, elevators dirty, pool area dirty, no towels, broken lightbulbs, worn out room with musty smell. Hotel didn’t offer any compensation for huge inconvenience for delayed access to room on a holiday weekend which caused other ticketed events to be missed. Hotel never acknowledged their errors.

    I paid for breakfast for 2x person thru the Expedia app, the hotel did not honor and refuse to provide breakfast. This hotel is supposed to be Westin but by far is the worst Westin I’ve ever seen. The people managing the Westin brand should take a closer look at this hotel: the carpet, the paint, the elevators- this gives off the vibe of a low class motel. We left early, we will never be back.

    Lovely hotel in a a great location, hotel staff was very courteous and friendly we even got a room upgrade. Lots of amenities on site, gym, pool in and out and sauna. The rooms, bathrooms and furniture are a bit outdated but it was still cozy, could use a bit more cleaning but we do a deep clean any way wherever we stay. The hotel is walking distance to store and lots of restaurants and there is a bar and restaurant on site with an ice cream machine near the gym. We felt safe and we where at peace staying at the Westin we will stay again if ever we visit again.

    Staff was average, to be honest. Carpets not very clean in the room and hallways. The fan in the room, even on low, was so strong and noisy that I could not use the heating overnight.     The room itself was clean and comfortable, but the bathroom was very outdated and in serious need of a refresh. One concern was that the additional security lock inside my room was broken. Fortunately, I travel with my own security lock and alarm, but this is something the hotel should address for guest safety. That said, the customer service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and professional throughout my stay. Overall, despite a few maintenance and update issues, this hotel offers great service and good value for the price.

    Overall, this hotel can be a solid 4 star if they make a couple of changes. 1. The bathroom is super dated. Tiles in the shower appeared to be coming apart. 2. We stayed on the 15th floor, but the noise from the highway was a bit much. The best part of our stay was the comfort of the bed. However, the linen detergent may be too harsh. Personnel were super nice.

    We were extremely disappointed with this hotel. We have stayed at Westin hotels before and it has always been a great experience. Unfortunately, this hotel has been ignored for far too long. The entire feel of the hotel is extremely dated. There were multiple places where wallpaper was peeling back (one in our room and then in public spaces), the hallways smell musty, we got in on a recent Friday night and went to the Lobby Bar to get something to eat. This was the only place open for food (fine), and on a friday there was one woman handling everything. It was ridiculous for her and for the guests. The final straw was the bed. Nothing heavenly about it. It was old with no support. There was one sheet, and one thin piece of fabric on top that was really only decorative. NO blanket or comforter. It was miserable and we bought an inexpensive fleece blanket at Target the next day. I will not stay at this location again.

    I had two rooms reserved, one of them was already occupied! We were given a key to someone else’s room ! Front desk clerk was acting like it was our mistake ! So he gives us the “last room available” it was a kids room ! Look not cared for, towels dirty, beds uneven, ac was not the best I was told I had a o wait for clean towels, iron and ironing board and coffee maker until 7 am! How can you tell me a property at full capacity doesn’t have a manager on call to handle this situations ! Any hotel at full capacity should always have a house keeper, maintenance, security and manager on duty onsite ! First and last time staying t a Westin hotel!

    When I arrived they did not have the rooms available that I had booked. When given another room there were not 2 beds as they stated. Had to wait over an hour to get another room with 2 beds. Then at 12:30 am they booked our room to another group and asked us to leave our room.     There were multiple venues going on at the same time which made for hectic and entertaining times at the hotel A Pokémon branch of comicon was surreal until I found out what was going on. Previous stays were more sedate as one would expect in primarily business oriented hotel. It is convenient to just about any place you want to see but getting onto I 10 requires a learning curve if you drive. Parking fee with no valet service was a disappointment.

    It was a great property. The staff was very polite not all of them but them. The room was great. Everything was very clean. We liked that there was an indoor pool and an outdoor purple.     I have stayed here before so I kind of knew what to expect. It was great last time I stayed here but this time my complaints are related to the new parking fee. I wouldn’t mind the parking fee if there was a space to actually park! It took about 10 minutes to find a parking space at night. Then I had a loud room next door. The shower was like warm.     For such a nice hotel it's really puzzling that they cannot put a bar fridge in the rooms. It makes any stay over 2 nights not an option, especially for sport trips.     The rooms are in need of updating. There was hair on our towels when we checked in. I am a bonvoy member but was charged $14.95 for internet. I would not stay here again.

    The Westin is one of my favorite places to stay in San Antonio. The hotel is very nice and the rooms are very comfortable. The staff are always excellent. The part that didn't make our trip that great was the parking. They have installed cameras with automated billing with the use of cameras. You have to download the parking companies app which was not so easy. If you are able to download it not very user friendly. We were being charged a flat rate of $11 dollars. But then we were charged every time we extited the property. We were charged when we exted one side of the property to find a better spot on the other side of the hotel. Westin needs to do away with the parking company and charge a flat rate withe stay.

    I took my husband and 2 kids here for the 4th of July weekend and I loved the Hotel. It is very pretty, and the beds and pillows are so comfortable I slept like a baby. Their pool is nice, but not only do they have an outdoor pool but an indoor pool as well which I loved. They also had a Starbucks inside. I will be going back for another stay.

    I treated myself to a stay for my birthday!! The hotel is in a great area, was very clean and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The hot tub and sauna were amazing!! I definitely recommend and will be staying again.

    Finally found a 5+Star hotel that was not downtown San Antonio. The public areas were beautiful and clean, quiet, and staff at front desk were super sweet. I felt at home! Its also conveniently 2 exits from UTSA and La Canterra with lots of restaraunt options on I-10! With this caliber of a hotel, they need valet. That is my only disappointment/complaint. Other than that... Ive already got my eye on 3 stays in the next 2 months!

    Front desk was very helpful and friendly. However, the room itself was okay. The carpet definitely needs to be replaced. Cleaning service needs a little push. Upon arrival, someone’s hair clip was found left on the floor in our room and while doing a last sweep for personal items before leaving, I found someone’s glasses.

    I was disappointed in a few things about our stay. First, having to pay for parking was disappointing. We stayed here when it was the Omni and never had to pay for parking. Second, the hot water in the shower was non existent. I had to take a luke warm shower. And finally, I thought the pool area needed some upkeep. It looked very run down and the pools were very cloudy looking. We did not get into the pools because of it. The lounging chairs need new covers on them. They looked very weathered. The bar inside needs restocking. We asked for 3 different drinks and they couldn’t make them because they didn’t have the ingredients. Also no blender on site. I’m not too sure we will be back again.
