Very friendly staff

The showers were relaxing, and the well-lit parking lot gave us peace of mind about our vehicle. The front desk staff were polite and professional during check-in, which made a great first impression. This will definitely be the only hotel we book when we’re in San Antonio!

The staff was attentive. The room was clean! Great location! So close to so many restaurants and shopping!

Two lights were not working. There was an opened soap on the sink and no other packaged soap. Only three bath towels for family of 4.

Staff was great. We were there for a soccer tournament with a group of Middle School boys. They were very patient and the hotel was quite accommodating for the number of athletes. We had great location to shopping and restaurants.

It’s in a wonderful location in the Rim at La Cantera where there is lots of shopping and restaurants. The location makes it easy to get around SA. It is a very well run hotel: clean, inviting and staff. Very pleased.

Me and my family like to bring our Xbox with us so we can stream shows and play video games together and no matter what I did it would never connect to the Wi-Fi. We also have a seven month old with an outlet monitor, and that also would never connect to the Wi-Fi, but besides that it was a very great hotel.

The hotel was clean and up kept. The bed was comfy.

The room was small for having a king bed in there so we felt cramped with our dog. The breakfast was decent. Hotel was close to shops & restaurants. Next time I would request 2 queen beds so we would hopefully get a more spacious room.

I have a new favorite hotel in San Antonio. The rooms are spacious and include a refrigerator, hot plate, mini-dishwasher, and the plates and utensils that make a longer stay more comfortable. The place was super-clean and at check-in, they asked how frequently I'd like the room refreshed. Why doesn't everyone do this? Exceptional - and my new go-to stay when I'm in San Antonio!

Ben, who was the evening front desk staff was courteous and extremely helpful with everything. Jessica who was bar tending was lovely. I must say that the beds here were great!! Love Marriott Hotels !!

Overall this is a very nice hotel- clean, very friendly service and a great breakfast! My only complaint is that the walls seem thin as we could hear our noisy neighbors.

Our stay for a family of 4 at TownePlace Suites was enjoyable, and the location is extremely convenient. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. However, we did feel that the housekeeping could be improved, as the room had a slightly stuffy atmosphere upon arrival. Overall good hotel!

This was not the first time I stayed at this property-the reason I return is because of the friendly staff, clean facility, convenience of shopping, safety of the area, and the marriott experience!

Now property. But we are on a long distance travel and pulled off the road for an extra 1/2 day to work. The hotel’s WiFi is off line (and has been for days) which we were not told at check in. We spend 1 1:2 hour on the phone with someone who tried to tell us that there was a different issue when they could have rebooted the router and we could have gotten online. We are very disappointed and irritated with this. We lost a half day driving and were unable to work. Not ok. In this day and age internet is critical not optional.

The staff here is always great. Tons of food options within walking distance, while still being in a nice quiet neighborhood.

The hotel was filled with construction workers partying with loud music in the parking lot, common areas, hallways and some rooms. A prostitute kept slamming out room’s door looking for a guy. I called front desk and the issues didn’t stop until 2 p.m. I do not recommend this hotel for families with children.

Because of the hotel being pet-friendly the hallway of the second floor smelled like animal and kind of like animal waste.

The bed was very comfortable. Kitchen area was great, staff was friendly. Breakfast was average and the shower leaked and made a puddle on the bathroom floor. We absolutely enjoyed our stay here!

Had to wait 30 minutes to check on because nobody was at the desk or would answer the phone. This also made me feel unsafe because nobody was near the entrance door and people were walking in and out

The bedding for the sofa bed was not clean. Hot breakfast was a bit over cooked. Nice location and comfortable bed.

One of the best places I have ever stayed in San Antonio and I’ve been to a lot. Now I don’t have to look further. I have found the place I’ll stay.

The hotel is brand new and their staff was very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay, with the exception of the ongoing construction noise next door.

All is very nice in room and staff is exceptional. My shower won’t change from a jet spray to a normal spray. Oh, well. Bathroom spotless!

I wanted to like this place because it’s very convenient to dining and six flags. Staff was super nice and it’s new. But I had to take off a star since the AC was set on the floor and to blow forward not up, this ensured one person was always freezing and trying to sleep having the loud ac constantly blowing on them. Secondly they had a big fireplace going outside in the middle of a Texas summer. I mean this is just crazy wasteful and environmentally unfriendly. I asked them to switch off and they said it’s policy to keep it on. Yeah. 95 degrees outside and they are burning a fire pit. So dropped a star for that too.

Everything was great. I very much enjoyed my stay. I always try and choose a Marriott hotel when traveling. The only negative comment I have is that one of the pillows in my room had a black stain on it and the spare pillow in the closet seemed as if it had been used and not changed so I put both those pillows to the side but other than that things were clean and neat all around.

Bad first impression. While hotel is in a very nice location in town and it's a fairly new hotel, our first impression of room cleanliness left us in disappointment. The issue was that the sheets in the bed had not be changed from prior usage. There was plenty of human hair from previous occupier left behind. The room could have been cleaned better. Additionally, shower design was awkward, leaving the main bathroom floor wet since there was no shower door. Shower head was awful as well. The good was the prompt attention to correct the issue by the shift manager. Another plus was the breakfast and the dinning area. Check in staff were also pleasant and professional. Overall, I'd recommend better attention to detail for cleanliness to ensure visitors enjoy their stay. First impressions always make a difference.

We have stayed her multiple times. Convenient location when we are in town. Plenty of dining and shopping options in the area. They had a security guard walking the parking lot during the night. Room was clean and staff was friendly. Easy check in and check out.

The property was rather new. Shower design was modern, but didn’t have a shower door so it was cold. And water got all over the bathroom floor.

This is my go-to hotel for when I stay in San Antonio for work. Beautiful room, great staff, and a really awesome free breakfast. My one complaint was that apparently the person in the room before me had had a dog and there was dog hair coating the desk chair and desk which gave me really bad allergies even after I cleaned it up.

We really enjoyed our stay. The small kitchen area was great and well stocked. The only thing I missed was a hot tub. I would stay here again.
