The room was clean with a working air conditioner, but had to request another room because the television was not working, which was a big inconvenience, had already unpacked and settled in. The hotel has no elevators, so I had to make 3 trips to an upstairs room, which I feel that I didn't get the most from my stay.

The bed and pillow were good. Only there for one night so it suited my purpose if I was able to sleep. The clerk at the front desk had a very thick accent. Between that and the thick glass between us, I had to ask him multiple times to repeat himself because i couldn't understand him. Also, asked him for directions for a place thwt was a mile to two away, and he couldn't help me. How can he not know how to get to a big arena that's so close to the hotel???

I didn’t have high hopes, but I refused to stay in my room after paying for it. Low crappy lighting to hide the numerous stains on the bed sheets, cockroaches in the bathtub, sticky floors. It was legitimately like something out of a movie. Don’t stay here.

Was unable to get a room after prepaying for the reservation. Waited out of office for more than 45 minute while the receptionist chatted on the computer regarding my prepaid reservation. Rep stated that since they didn't not receive a virtual payment from Hotel.com, he couldn't honor my prepaid reservation even after confirmed and pulled from my account. Rep also attempted to charge me for extras asking for cash deposite and for other things. I ended sleeping in my car cause i didn't have extra funds due to my card being place on hold. Will never stay at this site.

Over all the motel was good there were a few issues 1 the coffee maker was missing major part to make coffee 2 the ironing board was falling apart. I would make sure if I went and made sure everything worked

We arrived late for Countdown NYE party expected to check in but their POS systems were down and there was a long line of customers. Everyone was frustrated and only one person working the night, Sandy. She was calm and collected. SO I jumped in an helped fixed their computer, wifi, and laptop. She was able to log back in and got me checked in. Even though it started out rough, Sandy's professional and calm demeanor made our stay worthwhile. Thanks Empire and Sandy! Please promote or give her a raise!

I love staying here because of the cost and cleanliness of the rooms. On this stay, the heater was broken. Had to run the shower on the hottest temp to make it humid in the room and tolerable to stay in it. Temp hit the high 40s outside.

Aside from the homeless walking around nearby, the stay was comfortable. Room was clean, but found lots of hair on the floor. Housekeeping was pleasant. Quiet for the most part. Walls are thin, so can hear others. Will return!

My expectations were low for a motel, just needing a place to sleep. I did not except for the floors to be covered in dirt and personal items from the previous guest. We had to wash our feet each several times after walking on the floor.
