Reviews
The hotel received mixed reviews with guests appreciating the cleanliness and location, but expressing dissatisfaction with parking fees, lack of maid service, and various issues with room amenities. Some guests also reported unprofessional behavior from front desk staff.
- Clean and comfortable rooms
- Great location
- Parking fees and lack of clarity about costs
- Lack of maid service and slow response to maintenance requests

Visiting our daughter in San Diego and checking out some of our old stomping grounds.

Staff
- 5/5
The most important stay at Hilton Garden Inn is customer service. Especially, manager Christoper was very attentive, friendly and professional. He made myself and family feel at home as if we known him for a long time. Also the rest of the staff was welcoming. Thank you all.
- 5/5
Nice room- clean and good amenities. Staff are friendly. Breakfast has lots of choices!

Staff was great
- 5/5
It was a very enjoyable stay. The room was large and the bed comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast in the restaurant.
- 3/5
A decent hotel but pictures on the website were deceiving. Over priced for just a bed to sleep in without a breakfast and an additional parking fee. Pretty disappointed.
- 5/5
Great place to stay - the staff is the best!!
- 5/5
Overall experience was awesome
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 5/5
Great place to stay, clean and safe. I will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Staff exceptional (shout to Marle at front desk) cleanliness of facilities especially gym, and the cleaning staff very courteous and accommodating.
- 4/5
I think being charged $15 for (overnight) parking is outrageous! If anything, it should be built into the room rate.
- 5/5
Good location and have stayed here before. Will do so again. Staff very friendly.
- 5/5
In this stay we found nothing we didn't like except that some Hilton Garden Inns don't charge for parking and was surprised to find a $15 charge on the bill for that. This wasn't in a city center or downtown, which I expect, but in a complex with other hotels with a large common parking lot.
- 5/5
Nice stay, good location and excellent staff
- 4/5
We like this location and the facility. Generally the staff is friendly annd capable. Our feeling is that the room should be cleaned every day. I don’t think we should have to request it. Additionally on the second day of our stay the room was serviced but no clean bath towels were left. It was necessary to get towels through the front desk. Also, the most convenient elevator failed during our stay. The staff corrected the towel problem promptly. I do recommend the hotel.
- 4/5

Clean, wonderful staff, lovely room
- 5/5
Breakfast bar was exceptional. The room was nice except noise from the freeway was a bit sleep disruptive
- 5/5
No free breakfast
- 5/5
A sundries store would be convenient. I needed a charger for my phone and your little store did not have sundry items. A dispenser for water in the lobby would be convenient.
- 4/5
Great location in a very safe area. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Experienced a rude employee at the front desk.

- 3/5
Overall Good, but my room right on the 15 so the road noise was disruptive to a good nights sleep. I’d ask to put placed away from the back of the property if you stay there.
- 5/5
I liked the bartender and the staff up front. Good people.
- 5/5
The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby facilities, making it a great choice for both travel and business trips. The breakfast and hotel amenities were also satisfying, and I felt that the hotel was very well managed overall. I would definitely stay here again if I visit the area in the future. Highly recommended.
- 5/5
Excellent people. The staff were great a young lady whose name began with a T was awesome and the bartender was equally great.
- 5/5
Great place
- 4/5
Decent rooms, pool was well looked after and warm. Good to have a water fountain to refill your bottles.
- 4/5
It was nice friendly staff
- 2/5
My daughter also booked a room the sheets were dirty with hair and spots on it, she checked in around 11 pm she had to call front desk to change the sheets. However the location of the room wasn’t good! It was facing the freeway so we were unable to sleep!
- 4/5
All around good stay. Highly recommended.
- 4.5/5
Superb
- 2/5
Our bathroom had a huge leak in the air vent. Flooded bathroom floor. Maintenance knocked once then entered our room suddenly while my daughter was changing. When we tried calling the front desk to report leak they put us on hold repeatedly. So my husband had to walk down to front desk to report.
- 5/5
Enjoyed this hotel. Only issue was ice machine was out of order and room was not serviced with house keeping with new bath towels, bedding wasn’t fixed. Besides that overall great experience

Very friendly, not too modern, but still very good... Communication regarding room-invoice very complicated
- 5/5
Did not use dinning facilities I was charged $15 for parking and I did not have a car. I saw this charge after reviewing my email receipt.

It’s a really nice hotel. Clean, friendly staff, updated decor. There’s a restaurant on site which is convenient. Quiet neighborhood and feels very safe, but not much to do close by if you’re looking for a convenient night out. After hundreds of nights in good hotels - I would stay there again.
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 1.5/5
The room is comfortable. However, the staff is horrible. They completely ignored my reservation with Booking regarding the price, charges, and stay duration. They said I would have to check out after 1 day and check in the next day. I finally decided to book another hotel through Booking: the Hyatt. They dislike Booking.

Clean room, great bed, deliscious food, friendly staff, great parking.
- 1/5
It sucks that you don’t get HH points and get shoved to the worst block of rooms when you use ecpedis
- 3/5
Free breakfast
- 4/5
Beautiful hotel..very clean.
- 4/5
Its okey place. Parking was good with a daily rate of $15. Don't stay on the first floor, the restaurant smells throughout the room, especially during breakfast time.
- 5/5
Room was super clean, quiet and comfortable. Checkin staff and bar staff were very friendly. Only ate at night and the food was good. Would definitely stay again.
- 1/5
I was told breakfast was not included. Service was rushed. There was one hostess managing many tables
- 5/5
This hotel is located in a very quiet business plaza & easy access to a shopping place with restaurants & ice cream shop. Rooms are clean & spaceou. Enjoy the stay
- 5/5
Had a great stay. The staff was nice with easy check in and check out. The room was clean, and comfortable. Would stay here again!!
- 5/5
Very friendly and professional staff. The property is attractive, clean, and well-kept. Shopping closely.
- 5/5
Great location staff and amenities
- 5/5
Everything was great! My favorite is seeing Anna in the dining area. She always remembers me from prior visits. I’ll be back in 5 weeks
- 4/5
Clean room, kind staff, quiet and comfortable. The lighting is bad— especially in the bathroom! I felt like I was trying to get ready in the dark.
- 5/5
Staff and food were excellent!
- 1/5
We stayed three nights and had no hot water for showers. We stayed on second floor by elevator and there was an oder coming from that area. Fire alarm went off on second morning we were there. False alarm. We did receive some credit for our stay for one night and for our other parties room. Appreciated that but will not stay there again.
- 4/5
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The facility is clean but could use a few repairs. The pool is heated so that was great.
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff was friendly and the lobby was very nice.
- 4/5
Rooms were great! Torianna was very helpful in check in and getting us to xtra coffee pods. Didn’t know I had to Pay $15 a day for parking Very sad, plus water in your room was an unexpected Cost too
- 5/5
Second time I have stayed. Front desk personnel were very courteous and friendly the choice between a buffet or a sit down and order breakfast was very nice and the waiter very cordial in the food very good
- 4/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Clean, spacious room. Staff was amazing!!
- 3/5
The room was not in good condition. For example the carpet was dirty in many places. The bathroom tiles were cracked and the towel bar kept falling. It was also very dark in the bathroom and the make up mirror was non existent.
- 5/5
?
- 5/5
The room was clean, and the staff was great.
- 4/5
The room was kinda dark, not enough lighting.
- 2/5
Smelled bad Neighbor's noise Too expensive for such hot
- 5/5
Great staff. Good location. Very clean.
- 4/5
Stay was good. Team was helpful. But the beds were extremely uncomfortable
- 5/5
Beds could be more comfortable. Otherwise rooms are clean, staff friendly.
- 4/5
Clean and quiet.
- 5/5
Staff went above and beyond to get me a room with early check in. My nieces stayed in another room on their own reservation and also stated how customer service oriented the front desk staff were.
- 5/5
Great hotel and friendly staff. Breakfast (while not included in the hotel price) was excellent. Very clean and quiet!
- 2/5
There were smokers on our floor that stunk up our room and hallway.
- 2/5
Room was not ready at 4pm as promised. Front desk staff was unhelpful aamateur. Restaurant staff was great and helpful
- 2/5
Upon arrival to the location majority of parking was blocked off for work to be done the whole weekend with very poor sign postings. Upon entering the room noted that plug inside the bathtub was broken off. Attempted multiple times to contact someone with no answer. Early Sunday morning noted water leaking from the ceiling vent inside the bathroom all over, making the bathroom floor slippery unsure what type of water, for all I know could be sewage water from the top room. Will not return to that location.
- 5/5
Very good
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
Clean room. Wonderful staff. Great lobby with lots of things that can be purchased and brought up to the rooms (snacks, soda, cocktails, etc). Reserved on the same day as the stay. Very accommodating! Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
This hotel is amazing. It's so clean and quiet. The staff is amazing wonderful.
- 2/5
Front desk staff is disinterested. Asking for anything appears to annoy them. Sheets are poor quality. A member of the cleaning staff tried stealing from us. It’s was not a pleasant stay. Left a day early just to get out. The one positive was the food. It’s was very solid.
- 5/5
I loved the set up of the room I was in. It had a great courtyard view.
- 5/5
The staff was outstanding. From the front desk to the restaurant we were treated with the utmost care
- 5/5
Staff is friendly and helpful. Propert is in safe location and well lit. Several EV chargers onsite.
- 5/5
place is great, but elevator was too far from our room.
- 5/5
Nice place and the staff went out of their way to make sure that we were happy.
- 2/5
The hotel charged me $15 a night for parking when I did not have a car.
- 3/5
This hotel is nice and affordable. They got behind in preparing the rooms as they didn't anticipate to be fully booked that weekend. We had to wait until 8pm to check-in. We booked last minute though. So can't really complain much.
- 3/5
The room also had a weird smell. Like a mildew smell. The pillows are extremely uncomfortable.
- 3/5
Property is understaffed and it shows.
- 4/5
Nice and VERY clean hotel for a quick getaway. My only complaints would be that the bins were overfilling in the pool area with towels. Besides that no matter how cold we made the room the humidity was a constant battle.
- 1/5
I had a problem with bathroom sink got flooded from upstairs. Water got all over the carpet hallway and they did not even have me another day to stay or a discount
- 5/5
Great property
- 5/5
Pleasant & professional staff
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
all good!
- 5/5
Great service
- 4/5
Nice place and location just wish they had better sheets.
- 5/5
This was a great place to stay while visiting family. I had no significant complaints and forgot to mention our quibble(s) at checkout. They were a shower faucet that was hard to shut off completely. I just hate seeing the water waste. And I would still prefer to have a clock in the room and our room didn't have one. I have hip issues and thought the bed was nice and didn't make my situation worse. I liked having an upholstered chair, an office chair, and a bench/luggage rest as alternative seating options.
- 4/5
I didn’t like that I was charged $15 per day to park in an open parking lot attached to a shopping/ business lot that had no posted parking charge
- 3/5
The stay was okay
- 5/5
Water was leaking from the bathroom ceiling, there was a tube sticking out from the ceiling in the shower, it was very loud.
- 5/5
Beautiful, updated, quiet convenient. Beds were comfortable, everything was clean
- 5/5
Nice
- 4/5
Stayed 2 nights. Room was modern &.clean. Lost power for several hours Saturday morning & thus, loss of elevator usage. Nice snack section at front desk. Clean pool & cool little bar & restaurant. Parking was an additional $15.00 per night. Deposit $50.00 per night. (Returnable).
- 3/5
Staff was great and breakfast was good, however after waking up sweating from no power at 3am we hardly had an appetite due to lack of sleep. .
- 5/5
Customer service is fabulous across the board here!
- 5/5
I highly recommend this place to anyone coming to San Diego for its cleanliness, convenience, the staff is amazing and the hospitality is also amazing!
- 4/5
very clean. nothing out of order or disrepair. Just off the freeway, but a tranquil area. On-site restaurant/bar good, and other food options are within a casual 15-minute walk.
- 3/5
Developed severe headaches from marijuana smell.
- 5/5
Great little spot! The hot tub jets weren’t working and clearly hadn’t been for a while, and the beds could be updated, but overall so nice and clean! Staff is excellent - so friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
The staff were very nice - both front desk as well as the dining room staff. We purchased the vouchers for breakfast and that worked out very well for us. Safe parking. Easy to get around the area from this location.
- 5/5
Great staff. Marley (front desk) was exceptional. Sarah was great also. Restaurant staff was excellent.
- 5/5
Last minute, spontaneous trip from Vegas to San Diego for a weekend getaway. ComicCon was in town, and while not going to it I was planning on attending other events in the Downtown San Diego/Balboa Park area. Those locations were of course booked or ridiculously expensive. Looked into this location, about a 20-ish minute drive. The area was beautiful, the check-in, parking, and overall service was great. The room was clean, updated, and easily accessible. Food options were close by, less than a 5 minute drive to some great local spots. Although we traveled the 20 minute distance several times, the location was great because it allowed us to get on the 5/163 to get back and forth without hitting all the hard-hit traffic areas. Definitely staying here again in the future, next time when we have more time to check out the San Bernardo area! Thank you!!!
- 5/5
We Loved it ‼️our room was right next to the freeway and we slept beautifully no noise great bed🥰wish the pool was saltwater otherwise we saved alot of money staying there visiting my best friend of 75 yrs
- 3/5
Found and booked this hotel based on assumed proximity to the freeway. It was close enough though further inland than expected and hard to find. Overall, it was clean and mostly quiet. Beds are too hard and pillows too soft/flat, which made for a poor night of sleep. Did not appreciate the $15 per night parking fee auto assessed despite ample parking around the hotel. Front desk clerk acted annoyed and rudely when we checked out. It met our basic needs but I would not stay there again
- 3/5
Only negative comment is that their televisions in the rooms you are not able to stream any platforms, Netflix, Prime, You tube. It only has cable channels.
- 1/5
The bathub was horrible and full of hair! I highly doubt it that they clean it with the condition which shows in the picture.
- 5/5
Located very close to the friend I was visiting as well as the freeway, but far away enough from the busy street that it was nice and quiet at night.
- 5/5
Cleanliness
- 5/5
Very good
- 4/5
The area in the property is very good.
- 4/5
“The staff aren’t friendly; they seem like they don’t care about the customers. The breakfast is poor and overpriced. The hotel is very clean and well maintained.
- 3/5
I stayed 4 nights and didn't have any housekeeping services. Sheets, towels not changed. Found a housekeeper in my hallway and was given fresh towels.
- 3/5
It was fine. I had a unique reservation and it required some finessing.
- 4/5
A nice complex very large. We were not given specific directions to a room. We went to the nearest elevator, or we thought the nearest elevator and had to walk a maze of hallways to finally get to our room. On the way out for dinner we found another elevator that took us down to the first floor by the pool area and was a very short walk to the front counter and bar area. The room backed up to I 15 freeway and there was noise from the freeway all night long. We are two senior ladies 80 years old and a few extra instructions might have been nice.
- 3/5
Staff was friendly and helpful, however, the bed was hard and very uncomfortable.
- 1/5
Hotel called and told me they overbooked
- 5/5
The property is clean, the amenities are nice and the whole experience was enjoyable
- 4/5
Good amenities
- 5/5
Service, front desk & breakfast service
- 5/5
Front desk was very friendly and accommodating.
- 5/5
It was a great stay.
- 4/5
While it is very nice and quite safe, it's not easy to get to the room nor leave it. From the parking garage, you have to get a cart. From the elevator, it was a long walk (for me) to the room, and then I had to return the cart to the elevator area. To leave, I had to go down to the garage level, get a cart, and bring it up to my room.
- 5/5
Great place to stay for work.
- 5/5
It’s very clean nice room I love it
- 5/5
clean hotel close to restaurants, shopping & attractions. I would stay there again.
- 4/5
Everything was great except I did not like to have to pay for parking everyday particularly when I park in handicapped spaces.
- 5/5
The mattresses were a bit soft, and as I’m handicapped the bed was rather low which made it difficult to get up from. The bathroom was large and had everything we needed. I would have liked a chair in front of the sink and mirror for doing makeup. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Breakfast was also excellent.
- 4/5
Nice property with friendly staff
- 5/5
Hidden gem with fantastic service!
- 5/5
Clean hotel
- 2/5
The bedding is horrible. Thin, no duvet cover. Probably the worst I’ve ever seen.
- 3/5
Very random area for a hotel. In the middle of office buildings and a church. About a 10 min walk to a grocery store & some restaurants. Property itself was pretty quiet but our room faced the freeway and it was noisy all night with cars.
- 5/5
I always stay here when visiting family. It’s close to family and the accommodations are excellent. Your staff is friendly and helpful all at once! And your wait staff in the dining area is great - especially Anna. She remembered me from my last visit a year ago!!
- 5/5
Property was very clean with modern amenities such as EV charging, WiFi and a pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Very good
- 5/5
Very pleasant stay. Staff was fast and kind. Room was clean quiet easy check out. I would absolutely stay there again.
- 4/5
Welcoming, staff was friendly, rooms were tidy.
- 5/5
It was a really nice hotel. The only complaint that we have is that they charged $15.00 per night for parking in a parking lot right outside the hotel on their property that wasn’t secure and even had a sign saying any damage or vandalism was not the responsibility of the hotel. This should have been free parking as is the case in most other hotels
- 1/5
the staff was unprofessional they never cleaned my room!
- 4/5
Overall, I did like the hotel. The room was nice, clean, and what I would have expected from a Hilton. The person who checked me in was very friendly. The one thing I did not like is that I had to pay $15 to park my car in their outdoors parking lot. If I had parked in their garage, the charge would have been somewhat acceptable but the outdoors parking lot that is shared by other businesses??? It didn't seem reasonable.
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
Hotel is very good. Had to chase after ice 3 floors before found some.
- 4/5
Location was convenient for my needs, located just off freeway - food options available near by.
- 3/5
Cons 1) Very long hike to the room from the Elevator. Lucky we had only 1 bag, and some energy. Building is an odd layout, it's huge, and there's only 2 elevators and both are in the main building. If your room is located in the other building at the end, it's a long way. 2) the pillows smelled like somebody's else with strong cologne had just slept there. I know it's a hotel, I know thousands of folks have been in the bed. But when you put your face down for the night, you don't want to smell them. I could not sleep well. I don't know if it's just the disinfectant smell, because I caught the same odor in the hallway, but if I ever stay in a Hilton Garden Inn, I'm taking my own pillow next time. Just smelled gross.
- 4/5
Close to the freeway and shopping options
- 4/5
The rooms were clean and comfortable. There is ample parking. The front desk staff were courteous and friendly. Our stay came with a buffet breakfast. The staff work really hard to make guests feel at home but they are understaffed at the breakfast service.
- 5/5
Room was near freeway. Too noisy
- 5/5
Wonderful place
- 3/5
The refrigerator didn’t work, so my allergy free food went bad. The people above my room and my daughter’s room were loud. It sounded like running, stomping, slamming doors. It even shook the tv several times. This started at 11pm and lasted for hours.
- 5/5
Room was spacious & bed comfortable
- 5/5
I have stayed at this property twice for convenience of being near family and events during visits to San Diego. It’s a simple, clean, and very pleasant hotel.
- 4/5
Overall experience was good. Didn't like they only cleaned the room once in 2 days/
- 3/5
Well, I chose this place because it had a hot tub and I have a busted knee and I needed it after all that walking at the Safari Park. And the people who worked there told me where the hot tub was. Nobody mentioned it was empty with caution, tape around it.
- 5/5
This was a good hotel in Rancho Bernardo, in a good quiet location. Property was clean. Staff friendly. Basic services. Four o’clock check-in is a bit late, with 12 o’clock check out. A day’s reservation should be 24 hours. Not sure how US hotel industry is allowed to do this to its consumers. Aside from late check in time, nice hotel.
- 4/5
The pool was heated which was perfect!
- 4/5
Our main purpose for booking here was the spa. Unfortunately, the spa was not functional at any point during our stay.
- 5/5
Check-in staff were welcoming and had a great attitude. Felt really welcomed and as if they were happy to be staying with them. Very courteous and helpful.
- 5/5
I had a very pleasant stay, the room was cleaned and great customer service.
- 2/5
Room next to main hallway was incredibly noisy and very hard to sleep! The pillows were the absolute worst. The mini fridge did not have the typical small freezer top to put small items. The coffee machine was broken. The room had a musty smell almost like someone had previously smoked in it. Pool was not heated either. Definitely the lowest quality Hilton I have ever stayed at.
- 5/5
Lovely hotel with great service, very comfortable
- 5/5
It was well maintained and beautiful.
- 5/5
Very nice
- 5/5
Hot tub out of service - Ice machine out of service on my floor and whoever was up above me were running around like crazy
- 4/5
I like the cleanliness of the room. The front desk person at night is not that friendly and kind’a rude if you ask questions:
- 3/5
I can stay at a Fairfield Inn (Marriott International) for the same price, the hotels are usually nicer, have more free to lower priced amenities and a breakfast that is outstanding and comes with the stay. We recently stayed at an Embassy Suite which is also owned by Hilton and it was horrible (major maintenance issues). Frankly, in my humble opinion, Hilton truly needs to wake up, step up their game and put more focus into their customers and property needs.
- 2/5
Other Hilton Garden Inns have been more inviting w a floral theme and friendly check in staff This was dingy, sink did not drain, parking garage did not feel safe for solo women would not go back as there are better hotels in the area
- 3/5
In the breakfast room we had for our group - embarrassing. Not going to stay here moving forward. This property has been on the decline over the years. I’ve been coming for 7 years for an event and it was just terrible this last time.
- 4/5
Super friendly and helpful staff. Hotel bar and food service is cool. You can hear people talking and walking/ running though the walls but not a deal breaker. Modern looking, huge shower for more than one. 😉 Great experience. Would stay here again if in the area.
- 4/5
All in all, it was not a bad experience. I just don’t like the fact that it’s the only hotel chain out of the Hilton Garden does not give the continental breakfast and actually charge you for it.
- 1/5
Nothing
- 4/5
Con: Room thermostat didn’t work. It was very cold with no heat.
- 5/5
The only bad thing I would say is that the hotel details says free buffet breakfast but it’s actually not free.
- 4/5
N
- 4/5
That said, I did experience a couple of minor inconveniences. The room temperature was a bit tricky to regulate, and the bathroom door wouldn’t stay open on its own due to building code restrictions—not a huge issue, but worth noting. The biggest surprise was the $15 per day parking fee, which wasn’t clearly highlighted when I booked through a third-party app. While I was glad there wasn’t a resort fee, I would have appreciated clearer disclosure about the parking cost upfront. Despite these small drawbacks, the stay was enjoyable, and I would still recommend this hotel for its overall cleanliness, comfort, and beautiful property.
- 4/5
One or two of the front desk staff were ok, just not real very welcoming…. Especially at checkin. It would be great also if they warned you they will not make up your room or refresh your coffee and towels.
- 4/5
Great and convenient place to stay! Wish there was more light in the room but other than that, great hotel!
- 5/5
I loved my stay at this hotel everyone was very nice considering we had a whole team of happy and wild kids. Even the kids felt very comfortable thank you to the staff!!
- 4/5
Other than that, the stay was o.k...
- 4/5
Great location for my purpose and nice clean hotel and rooms. Lack of personal availability. Often no one at the front desk or no one responds to calls. Nice friendly restaurant on the other end.
- 4/5
The bed was not very comfortable.
- 5/5
We had a room in a quiet hall. The room was ready when we arrived. The room was serviced each day. Employees were courteous.
- 5/5
From the front desk ,to room ! Excellent! Highly recommended!
- 5/5
Had microwave and refrigerator. Helpful staff. Would stay there again.

The only thing negative I have to share is that I exited the South side of the building which led you down a walkway between the hotel and a business office. It was a bit unnerving leaving at 5am when dark but everything else about this location is wonderful. Conveniently located to the fwy, quiet, bed slept well, halls are a bit dingy but rooms were comfy and clean

Everything was amazing but $30 for parking is way too much

I was welcomed and greeted by a very nice gentleman at the front desk.

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Everyone was lovely to deal with. My sister and mother ended up booking rooms with the hotel as well. Will be my go to hotel for San Diego

Air conditioner was a bummer but the rest was fine

My mother and I stay here when we come to San Diego couple times a year. Alicia is amazing the whole staff is amazing very friendly.

Overall a good property but was a little miffed that a parking charge was added with ample parking available otherwise. I can understand if youre in downtown San Francisco or like where parking is at a premium but this is not the case here. Buyer beware.

Excellent service from front desk & housekeeping staff! A lovely hotel, very clean & accommodating.

To check in as purse was lost.

Great location, room, and food

I liked the laundry room on the premisis.

Simple and clean. Low-end Hilton. But compare the room rate charged, it is acceptable. Bottle water in room is not free, self parking is still charged $15/night.

Very friendly staff, nice property

Like the room size and cleanness

Very convenient. I enjoyed the fitness room because it was empty.

Overall stay was good. Did find a hair on the toilet upon arrival. Directions also could've been clearer on elevators. Didn't realize until later that there were more elevators closer to our room.

it locates at a quiet neighborhood, and right next to a shopping plaza with variety restaurants, coffee shop and market. it is a very convenient location.

This property was clean and nice, front desk not very friendly or helpful. We paid for breakfast and was never told we needed to retrieve vouchers from front desk. Since I paid for this these vouchers should’ve been given at check in and explained the process not when I’m eating and I receive a breakfast bill.

Nice hotel and great staff.

DO NOT STAY HERE...Our golf clubs were stolen and the hotel did not seem to care at all, we asked that they look at video of the parking lot and not only did they not do that they never even called back or replied to our email until we submitted a formal complaint with Hilton.

Great stay overall. It would bee nice to have complementary breakfast or at least not so expensive. I was able to take my daughter to IHOP and paid less.
- 3/5
I was not given my breakfast vouchers. Had a difficult time to figure out where and how it worked.

The front desk staff makes this hotel amazing. They let us check in really early, and we’re SO friendly. We will definitely stay here every time we come down to visit family.

Clean. nice staff. It was a Friday night at 9:15pm and the bar tender told us he wasn't going to make us drinks, we were all in a wedding and thought it would be nice to come back for a night cap and he closed the bar. I thought the bar stayed open till 10 but otherwise nice stay.

Very Nice

All was good until our 1st time of sleep and then every night after. 2nd floor room 216. We had someone upstairs literally running across the room until 11 pm every night. When i called the front desk i was told they would take care of it. Nope. Friday night, Saturday night, Sunday night, my entire family was kept awake until around 11pm. Then each morning like clock work, 5 to 530 am, same exact thing. Running or jogging or working out. Worst family vacation we have taken. 0 sleep. For the money i paid this was ridiculous. 0 help. We werw offered a different room our last night there around 7pm, but by then moving wasnt in our agenda. We were situated and un packed. So.... Not happy at all. Do not recommend this hotel if you want any peace or any sleep

All staff were welcoming at all times. Especially Stephanie! Very helpful!

I pparked outside but still paid $15/day parking fee. Really didnt care for the every-other-day room cleaning. Ran out of toilet paper, facial tissues, towels and staff didnt replenish coffee k-cups. Stayed 4 nights and room cleaned just once! Convenient breakfast for a fee. Restaurants nearby and easy access to the freeways were a plus.⁴

Nice and cool place , very clean and quiet

The carpets were not that clean, both in the halls and rooms. I stay at this Hilton Garden inn every time I travel to Rancho Bernardo. To visit my daughter. I visited the lounge on 10/21/24 in the evening and the bar tender had to be the most friendliest employee in the hotel.

Nice and clean staff.

Very clean and convenient

The property was close to the area where family lives and so was convenient.

It was very expensive.for that price. I would have expected a resort

The bed was fresh and comfortable but the room seemed to need refreshing.

Nice, comfortable hotel!

One of our beds had dirty sheets

A lot of traffic noise can be heard inside rooms, doors closing echos loudly in room as well. So not great if you are a light sleeper. Room was nice and clean, and staff was friendly.
