    I can give you list of things 1st the view was spectacular. The game area that you can rent was awesome. The pool area and outside seating was so comfortable and amazing. The restaurant food was excellent. Very positive energy from everyone at the front desk.

    Loved our stay at Sheraton San Diego! We were originally at the Bay tower which we were very disappointed with. That tower seems to be more outdated and definitely not as “pristine” as the Marina Tower. We mentioned how we would prefer to upgrade and were offered a room at the Marina Tower. The Marina tower is beautiful, updated and has tons of stuff to do right downstairs.

    This is a great hotel for young families. I have a baby and a toddler and there was so much for them to do. They had coloring stations, daily popcorn, a pool, a man making balloon animals, daily smores, on site food places, room service, and so much more. If you are looking for a place that will welcome your family look no further. This place is amazing.

    Great in person staff. Shops and restaurants were great and the room was clean. Was told I would be able to get in and out of parking with my room key. That was not the case. My husband tried to order champagne to my room as a surprise but he got attitude from staff and was unable to add strawberries because it was past 5pm. He called at 6pm. I didn’t think there was a time restriction on room service.

    The newly renovated lobby, restaurants, and rooms in the Marina tower were outstanding. Food very good. We had a beautiful view from our very nice room on the 12th floor. The staff was excellent- from shuttle drivers, to front desk, to receptionist in the bar, bartender, pool attendants, etc. We travel often and were so pleased. The pools were beautiful, sparkling water. The location on Harbor Island was beautiful and many excellent restaurants within walking distance. We’ll be coming back! Be sure to ask for a renovated room with a view.

    What I didn't enjoy was being charged more than the closing receipt amount (which included the $105 in fees each day), leaving a voicemail, and having no one respond for several days after which I called again. Seems shady to be charged more without a separate folio showing why. I understand being responsible for more charges but not secretly. Turns out they added a $46 a day charge for my 10 year old being "an adult" even though he was added to the room at booking with that age. Bizarre and not relayed as an accident but ultimately recovered.

    Staff is amazing here. Very nice room in the Marina Tower. Note - the two towers are not right next to each other. My sister was in the tower further away which was a bit of a bummer but they do have someone to shuttle you back and forth. It’s a very minor inconvenience.

    Nice, modern-looking hotel. This is a really busy location (near airport) and quite hectic. It's overpriced, in my opinion. The resort fees and parking added on were not necessary. The hotel restaurants were nice as well as the pool. They do have tennis/pickleball courts. The harbor view is really beautiful. Some cons were several of the hotel clerks were rude; however, I had two pleasant clerks, Luke and another person. I can see the clerks are overworked and under appreciated (probably due to rude, demanding guests). Kind of a young, party vibe and not much peace and quiet. I was awoken twice by loud music and yelling at 3AM. The room were small but nice. Upon checking in, the clerk was rude and messed up our rooms, didn't explain about parking, and rudely dismissed me. I came back to fix her mistake and Luke was very nice to help. The hotel did comp me $100 for use in the restaurants. If you'd like to visit San Diego, try a hotel further away from the airport, in a quieter area. I'd even recommend going as far as La Jolla (very beautiful!).

    Front desk girl had attitude and I got her at checkout as well. I called for a late check out and I got her again I belt. She told me to come down to the front desk in am and check. I've never had to do that at any hotel. Anyhow called on the am and spoke to a much nicer gentleman and was able to get my late checkout over the phone. Restaurants were ok. They need a fancier option. Rooms and facilities are beautiful. View and location spectacular! Close to Balboa Park and the Zoo.

    Dinner and breakfast were good. Overall stay a 4** only because I was given a room with 2Queen size bed instead of a King size, waited for a shuttle to be transported to another hotel location which I didn’t expect. Worst part was the shower, water didn't drain—enough said! To future customers, double check your reservation and make sure you’re getting what you paid for.

    The parking area seemed to have reserved spaces that appeared to be prioritized for certain guests, and honestly it made us feel uncomfortable and somewhat overlooked. I have never experienced something like this at any other hotel. When you pay for an ocean-view room with a balcony, you naturally expect to receive what you booked. Overall, the experience was a bit frustrating and disappointing, but unfortunately we didn’t really have another option at that point.

    On our last night, my kids were unable to sleep because the guests next door were being excessively loud late into the night. Between the noise, the condition of the hotel, and the unpleasant odor, this was not an enjoyable or relaxing stay. Very disappointed overall.

    The property is a bit worn, but the bayside room view is decent. There aren’t a lot of services, one limited menu for restaurant and room service. No vending machines. The high rating is for the staff. They get why people are there and they check people in and out quickly. They’re nice and efficient. That counts. Shuttle drivers are nice too. The room is ok. You’ve seen it before but while it’s a bit rundown (chargers not working and my alarm clock was broken) it was clean, had fresh fairly new towels and crisp sheets. Not as good as some, but better than most.

    Awesome resort!! Just a beautiful venue! Every room is modern and most of them have incredible views. The resort is family oriented but not too kid oriented, I say that with best intentions because kids will have a good time. Great for crowds under 21 and over 35. Two restaurants with three bars. The margarita bar is great, and the brewery bar has a great selection. You can order drinks pool side as well, and there’s another bar right by it. $10/night parking is across the street, otherwise you’ll be paying significantly more for on-site or valet. Drop off and pay a tip a bell hop nicely instead. The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. I don’t remember if I’ve stayed at a hotel where the staff was this happy, it really adds to the environment. The location is a little out of the way being by the airport but the drive is not bad to either downtown or La Jolla. The good thing about the location being away from downtown is that it does make the Sheraton feel a bit more exclusive. Plus if you get a room that faces the city, the skyline and Coronado bridge at night is quite a treat. I think I’ll be staying there again soon and would recommend to friends in the area that it’s an ideal spot for a stay-cation.

    Of special note is the shuttle. If you are primarily at the property, the shittle will provide transportation to the local restaurants and wedding venues and the airport. It is a wonderful amenity! Love this hotel!

    Dans la chambre que nous avions, très forte odeur de poussière quand nous sommes arrivés et nous avons dû laisser la baie vitrée ouverte 3/4 heures pendant notre dîner. Un robinet cassé dans la salle de bain. La taille des lits n’étaient pas précisée et pour une superficie de chambre annoncée de 37 m2, nous nous attendions à des lits queen size au minimum = 160 cm de large. Les lits étaient des full size de 140 cm de large à peine. En conclusion les standards de cette ancienne partie de l’hôtel ne sont pas Sheraton et la présentation sur hôtel.com est trompeuse et manque de détails. Merci

    At the last minute they changed my property location to the second Sheraton with the pool under construction. As a result there was no pool for my stay. Also I had a problem with an adjacent person staying that was making a lot of noise at night (and sleeping during the day). I complained to staff and asked to move my room for the final night, but even though there were other rooms available they did not move me. When I checked out they said someone would get back to me about that issue but I never heard back.

    My room in the Bay Tower was very nice. However, I wss told they have 24 hour golf carts to take you to the marina tower. I tried to get a ride at 510pm and was told they were on break until 540 and that I could use the walkway to get there. Which I did. Then when i tried to get a ride back at 930pm, I was told AGAIN that they were on break and it would be 30-40 minutes to get a ride back to the bay tower. As a female, traveling alone, I didn't feel comfortable making the walk alone in the dark. Therefore, had no other option but to wait.

    My family had a great time at the hotel. The staff were courteous and helpful. The hotel was very well maintained and clean. The rooms were renovated (Marina Tower) and our room was in pristine condition. The heated pool was nice and they have complimentary s’mores that you can make at their fire pits on a daily basis. The gym is really nice. It is clean and has free weights, machines and an assortment of cardio machines. The only thing that could be a negative are the food prices being high, but that is to be expected because it is a hotel. Also, the hotel is relatively close to the San Diego Zoo/other attractions, activities and restaurants.

    I stayed in a room in the newly renovated Lanai tower. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the upgrades far exceeded my expectations and are much nicer than the non-renovated rooms. Only drawback is that it's at the far end of the property, which is a long haul carrying luggage. Otherwise, loved my stay there.

    Pay attention to your booking. They tried to give us a basic room at check after we paid $300 more to upgrade to a premium room. Also check your bill at check out. The property was okay. Staff could have been a bit more friendly. Food options were limited on the property. IMO it wasn’t worth the money we spent.

    We were given a room in the Bay Tower. It wasn’t bad, just dated. Near the end of our stay we had a pretty large roach in our room. I went to the front desk and let them know and reactions from the hotel staff made it seem like this happens often. They moved our room to the Marina Tower and the difference is insane. If you book here, make sure you don’t get a room in the Bay Tower.

    We stayed in the North Tower and were given a recently renovated room. Unfortunately, I was unable to sleep all night due to a loud banging noise occurring every few minutes. We later realized it seemed to be coming from the air conditioning compressor or related system, which made a very loud banging sound each time before the fan shut off.

    This hotel has a distant satellite building you have to get in your car and drive to that has no amenities, no lobby staff when I checked in, that they charge the same price for. Total scam.

    This was the worst stay at a hotel ever. The Hotel staff were rude and not inviting or friendly. The fees for everything were ridiculous. $55 a day for parking. Food and drinks way over priced. The restraunt service was so bad. They took 15 mins to take our order and another 15 mins to get pur drinks. Food anotherc15 mins after that. Bar staff were so rude and not friendly. I will never go back to this establishment

    A resort that's all about comfort, amenities and family fun should have a microwave. Dining options are far too limited to play this game. We have kids and babies. Get some dang microwaves! Aside from theose gripes, the Sheraton has been a family goto for years. It's always a pleasant, relaxing stay. Nice views out of either side. Especially the Bay Tower which, being further down the peninsula has a direct view of the harbor.

    Tower bottom floor. Couldn’t find elevator to get to bottom floor. Had to ask for help from somebody.. map might of helped. Do wish that shuttle ran more often specially for an early, early flights my flight was boarding at 5:35 and I had to get an Uber to the airport. That would’ve been so much easier for shuttle had ran wish things were a little bit closer to the hotel like some fast food places . I was uuhungry when I got there and didn’t have time to order from the bar. Staff were very nice . Wake up call got me up on time for my 2 o’clock get ready for my flight at 5:35. Wish I could’ve enjoyed the grounds more. Got there so late maybe next time, looks like a very beautiful hotel. Thank you

    I didn't like the fact of paying as much as I did and was surprised with an additional $44 +tax per day for activities I never used or intended on using. Also there was no complimentary waters in the rooms. That was a factor for me for medical reasons. Especially when 1 bottle of 16 oz water was over $6 at there on property store. The rooms and property were clean.

    No, ocean was not visible. They bay was however we were on the 2nd floor which was actually the 1st floor and there was too much for traffic in front of our balcony so we could not enjoy the view and have privacy at the same time. Couldn't just have the blinds open to enjoy the view either. The whole point of booking there was for the view. The deal I thought I was getting turned out to be a bust not to mention the $44 per day resort fee and the $55 per day parking fee - outrageous.

    It was confusing to get to the proper reception due to address confusion. Once we found it, our host did provide me with a room on the eighth floor, however my view was of the marina and airport instead of the bay. Which is what I thought I paid for. Bed was clean and comfortable, so is the room.

    Overall, my stay at the resort was quite pleasant. The views from the room were absolutely stunning, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.     The Sheraton gave a completely misleading impression. I booked a bay-view room, but they put me on the 4th floor with a 65-foot balcony blocking the entire view. When I asked to switch, they claimed they were full. Room service was a disaster—I ordered twice, and both times, after waiting forever, I had to go pick it up myself despite being charged a $5 delivery fee. And don't even get me started on the pool service; getting a simple bottle of water was a total nightmare.

    I arrived at about 12:30am bc of a flight delay and proceeded to wait in line at reception for an HOUR. It was such a hot mess. The rooms were messed up, some of the people didn’t even have rooms. At the end of it I was in their whole other tower that was like a 15 minute walk. There were three other people running around there and a HUGE LINE at reception and ONE PERSON checking people in. Now you can see that you have a line out the door and you can see it’s taking this woman like 20 minutes plus per customer to check people in bc of whatever issues they were having—it’s literally midnight. Standing in a line at reception for an hour-no exaggeration—is really the worst customer experience. Why don’t you put one or two other people to help? Oh and then I asked for a late checkout and she wouldn’t give me more than a hour from 11 to 12. Don’t you think if you made someone lose sleep bc of your failure to run the place properly you would give them an extra hour later at checkout. The hotel is fine but the experience was so bad I would not give this a good rating. Do not recommend.

    The hotel was great unfortunately the pool cabana was closed the entire time every time I ask the staff when it will be opened I got truck shoulders and no real response. It didn’t seem like anybody knew what was going on. Also, upon the arrival to the hotel, I wasn’t even welcomed when I said hi I’m checking in. It was responded by ID.

    Great service! Very accommodating! We were upgraded to the marina tower. Very nice. It was kind of busy but still staff was accommodating. They gave us a 40 credit for a friends bday. We were looking forward to drinks by the pool but the pool bar was closed. The family pool was crowded. The adult pool was ok. They could do something about the vibe. Idk maybe have music playing. A lot of the seating was “reserved” hard to find a place to sit.

    The gym is top notch with a smith press, squat rack, free weights, yoga, and a lot of cardio machines. The staff are excellent. Rooms updated. Breakfast buffet is rather sparse and not worth it, go a la carte if you must eat there. Views, locations, pools, gym, store, and restaurants are all great. I will come back again!

    I was uninformed that I was in the Bay tower versus the newer building. That would’ve been nice to know because I was dropped off at the new building and had to get myself driven over to the other building with my luggage. The pool wasn’t open to the maintenance at the bay Tower building that I stayed at also not providing at least a black cup of coffee in the morning complementary was a little discerning.

    We were supposed to stay at the Bay Tower, but all the instructions sent us to the Marina Tower instead. We spent about 20 minutes trying to find parking there, only to be told we actually needed to go to the Bay Tower. It was our first time staying here, so we had no idea there were two different buildings. But the good thing is the receptionist gave us free parking for the trouble.

    I stayed in one of the newly-remodeled rooms overlooking the pool/bay in the Marina Tower. Really lovely and the room was exceptionally well-appointed. Great view! The staff was also accomodating with arranging a day-rate for use of the room since I wasn't flying out until the evening. Would absolutely stay here again.

    The hotel was okay (not awesome), but its the series of service lapses that's just below expectations. The restaurant's food was pricey but very low quality. When we parked, there were a series of issues with in and out privileges and I was promised a 50 dollar credit but upon checking out I realized they never credited it to the account either. Location was good, near the airport and dtsd, but still far enough to be peaceful enough.

    I had trash in my ice bucket when I went to use it. Every time I took a shower water got on the floor because shower curtains were not long enough. And had to stare at dirty dishes that were outside the janitors closet that was across from my room.

    This is SUCH a beautiful hotel. We had a great night there before we flew out to Hawaii. This is the place to stay if you’re traveling because it’s right across the street from the airport. They have a free shuttle that takes you there which is so convenient.

    I felt the room was like lipstick on a pigl. Thren the non disclosed $55 for overnight parking and the manager claimed they have nmo control over it, said he credited the resort fee, but it was still on my bill to.     The room was clean, the staff was great. We left for the day and forgot to remove the "privacy" sign. We didn't get clean towels and our dirty ones were on the floor. It was totally our fault that we didn't get clean towels. I requested some and they were very understanding and very prompt at getting us clean towels. I would definitely stay here again.

    “Newly renovated” didn’t seem to apply to the room I had - rust in shower and a freeze for refrigerator. Staff at front desk seems abrupt and not really helpful. Maids seem to have lost our toothbrushes, which were subsequently begrudgingly replaced with 2 generic ones.

    The location by the airport was extremely convenient. It was not at all like most airport hotels. It really was a resort. The hotel and the room was spotless. The staff were very pleasant. The pool was clean and beautiful. Very nice chaise lounges. There was a little cart to take you between towers. The landscaping was quite beautiful

    The check-in staff was unfriendly. Apparently there was a Security System inspection was in progress in the Bay Tower. So we could only get s room in the first floor (?). So we were given a room in another tower, Marina Tower where the room size is much smaller.

    Mistakes can happen, but the complete lack of communication is unacceptable for a hotel of this brand and price point. Guests should not have to chase a major hotel chain for basic billing transparency. Until this issue is acknowledged and resolved, I cannot recommend staying here. Poor post-stay customer service undermines what would otherwise have been a reasonable stay.

    We did not have a coffee maker in our room. We called and requested one. It was brought to our room fifteen minutes later. Once we figured out which outlet worked, we had coffee and tea on our balcony. Super! Perhaps you might check the electrical in room 554?

    Most everything was good, however we would have liked to enjoy the jacuzzi at the Bay Tower, but it was under construction so we had to take the shuttle to the main hotel to use their jacuzzi. Also the pillows on the bed are too soft, they have no support, it would have been nice to have a more firm-support pillow.

    The hotel has seen better days. The North Tower is in need of a complete renovation. The carpet was frayed and the room had a strange odor, emanating from the closet. The hall carpet was never vacuumed during our four day stay. The "resort fee" is ridiculous. $36 for the use of a pool -- standard in most hotels -- and an outdoor fire pit. Really? Parking at $56 per night is ridiculous. (There is a public lot across the street, with $10 per day parking, weekdays.) All in all, it was overpriced and seriously underwhelming. I'd stayed before and it was lovely. Not now.

    We checked in at main location, where we booked a bay view room. Got there, girl said they had no availability but they had a another location close by that could accommodate. Provided room card with no other directions. Took a while to find the other location. Got there and realized she didn’t provide a room number. Waited in line again. Got a room, went to room only to have a marina view and no working tv. Went downstairs again, were told they would send someone up. No one showed. Next day, received a call at 11am saying they needed a card on file and for me to stop by. Went back to our room with bags full of things only to get locked out. Had to go back downstairs. Never had this many issues in one stay.

    The hotel overall was very nice, and the staff were courteous. The only issue we encountered was that the overhead shower head didn’t work. Although there was a detachable shower head, it wasn’t long enough and sat a bit low. We really enjoyed the hotels views, restaurant and bar the food and drinks were great. The location is convenient just a short distance from the Gaslamp district. Despite the minor issue, I would definitely stay here again.

    The room and bathroom was clean but the white sheets had stains on them on the top potion of the bedding where it meets your face. That was pretty nasty. The fridge was also dirty. The stay was nice and the room was nice just the showers being stained and appearing dirty is a major issue.

    We went out to a fancy dinner at island prime down the road and had leftovers to bring with us, we put it in the fridge last night and upon checkout this morning we went to grab our expensive left overs to find the fridge was inoperable all night and our food was wasted. We are very upset. Also no water in room, water pressure was also poor. We are very dissatisfied and disappointed in this very nice hotel.

    I am giving this stay a four-star rating because I have stayed here many times and really like the hotel and the staff but my experience on Friday November 28th was a bit subpar to be honest. I booked 5 rooms at the hotel for Nov 28th (4 via the Bonvoy app) and contacted the hotel about my retirement flight (as a Southwest Airlines Captain) and the fact that I'd booked those rooms for friends and family. When we arrived at the airport, I tried calling and texting the hotel numerous times (and also messaged via the Bonvoy app) to coordinate transportation for our party of 11. I never received ANY reply to any of my messages or texts. We ended up ordering 2 Ubers to get there (an unnecessary expense). The stay itself was nice, as always, and the breakfast staff excellent. However, I have still only received 2 stay credits (should have been 4) and have received no reply to my message sent to the hotel about the missing stay credits.

    I had paid for the water view on the Marina tower and when I went to check in to the hotel, they had given us a room on the first-floor w no water view. After explaining to the front desk that they are giving us a room that is not what we paid for, they stated that there was nothing they can do, and we can pay extra for an upgrade. On my itinerary, it showed what we paid for, and it is more expensive than the room they were giving us. The staff was very rude and not accommodating at all. I do not understand how we can pay and book for a room far in advanced and they think it is okay to give us a way different room. It is one thing that if the prices are similar, but they are not as the ocean view is always more expensive. I filed a dispute w my card company and recommend anyone who sees this to book somewhere else. You think being a Sheraton, they would have better service, but I guess not. Would not recommend as the room itself was not worth the price. Better off paying for a Hilton or other as they at least try and make things right.

    The pool and hut tub were great and the location was nice. Lots of dining options. However, they would not clean my room for a 5 day, 4 night stay. We had to take out our own trash, and wash the same cups in the sink with no soap repeatedly. By the 4th day we desparately needed some clean sheets and towels. The front desk promised to send someone to clean up for us and restock. We left for a few hours and came back to find only a brown back with sheets, towels, and a roll of toilet paper. We had to make the beds, bring towels to the housekeeping door, and empty the trash for them. Not my idea of fun on vacation.

    The room was spotless. I loved the location and it was safe and beautiful for walking my dog even at night. Living in SD & Harbor Island is a wonderful place to be . I do think the fee of $150 for a pet should be refunded if the guest has not ruined anything or at least 1/2. Don't tell me that sanitizing because of a dog or other animal staying in the room costs the hotel $150. I doubt you do anything more and cleaning materials are less than $20 including labor and at the most we are talking $60-$70 of expense. Highway robbery....

Basically few steps from the water but they assign you to worst ever room. No view at all. Just a concrete ceiling and a wall blocking the street view. Not water view like advertised.

    The hotel are very good at their jobs but unfortunately do not speak a lot of English.     Additionally, check in is 4 pm, at 3 pm i attempted to do an early check in if avalaible, they let me know theyd text me when my room was ready. At 5 pm i had to go ask them if my room was ready yet which it was, they forgot to text me. The rooms are not very noise proof, you hear planes all night. The elevator situation to get between levels is very confusing and if your needing to bring a stroller around there isnt any ramps anywhere its all stairs. We were one of several guests who were lost trying to get between floors and locations, we kept ruining into each other during our attempted travels lol. Then the firepits were not avaliable at night, it was booked for a private event which was a bummer because we were looking forward to using that amenity.

    Our room was clean for the most part but the bathroom shower wasn’t cleaned well when we first got there which was gross. The carpet wasn’t vacuumed well either. Things also started to break and never got fixed like the shower bottles on the wall. And we ran out of conditioner a couple days after we got there and it was never refilled for the remainder of our stay even after we asked. I asked for our bedding to be changed daily and I don’t think it was either because I noticed the same stain a few times. It wasn’t a bad stay but wasn’t worth the price. Staff was nice. They had popcorn served in the lobby which was a nice touch. The hotel itself was pretty and the fireplaces all around, including being on the harbor. Good restaurants to eat at onsite. Plenty of places nearby as well.

    I’ve been to this so many times for business. I find that when they’re super busy the rooms aren’t as clean housekeeping must be overwhelmed. Perhaps more staff is needed.

    Location has plenty of amenities that go along with the beautiful warer views. Close to all the downtown activities and restaurants. Convenient shuttle gets you to the airport in minutes. We'll definately plan on staying here again on our next visit.

    This place has tower rooms like a hotel, but it also has trash rooms like a motel. Good luck! The motel was garbage - with spiders, a mile walk from the lobby, and a nasty parking lot right outside your front door. Sure, they had fresh lipstick on this pig, but you could tell they just flipped this trashy motel to gain some more rooms. Make sure you don’t get stuck in that “tower”!

    They switched our room before arriving and called it an upgrade but it didn’t feel like it since the room is smaller than what we paid for. The carpet was wet between the beds and had to keep putting a towel on the floor to dry it. The front desk staff was unfriendly, hard to get an hold of someone after on the phone or text message and the front desk didn’t provide us any maps, or any information about our stay. Overall okay hotel but I wouldn’t come back due to how much negativity we felt as we arrive.

    Location is convenient for many attractions in the surrounding areas. Hotel has nice amenities on site. The hotel has a few options for eateries and they are convenient. Had breakfast at the in house Rumorosa. It felt understaffed so it took a while to get our breakfast but it was good. Not a fan of the $50 overnight parking for guests but I guess that is a sign of the times.

    Horrible experience after getting in from a delayed flight. The front desk person at the main building was super helpful, but long story short, the room we were given was a 2 queen bedroom for 4. The room had no AC, no cold water, and the fridge was out. My husband needs the fridge to store his insulin. We were initially offered an upgrade, but really wanted 2 beds to sleep well. Once we called about the issues, the mechanic came up and confirmed we'd have to move rooms. We were now speaking with a difference rep in a different building and the upgrade was all of a sudden no longer available. I called back over to the main building and they said they could offer the upgrade and guaranteed there was a king bed and a sofa bed, so we accepted. It was already almost 3am, so no bellhops or anyone to help. The keys provided would not work so we would have to repeatedly keep going back downstairs to get new ones. We finally get into the "suite" there is no sofa bed. All the extra space was nice, but 2 people still had to sleep on the floor, and the living area's AC was also busted, so we all crammed into the master. All the "suite" no luxe. At least the fridge and cold water worked. We only stayed here due to proximity to the aiport and convenience, but it turned out to be a huge inconvenience. Do not recommend, and will not be back.

    I checked in normal. The desk clerk observed i had a limp and asked what happed. I told him i just had stem cell injections in my knees and back. He wished me a speedy recovery and proceeded to upgrade me so i didn't have to walk so far. Which was very helpful, as i was originally in a different tower several blocks over.

    Great staff, nice room excellent bartender (Pablo or Paco, can’t remember) pool was great and the location doesn’t get any better. Born and raised in San Diego but the Sheraton sure made it feel like a vacation. Thank you. Parking was really expensive, I’ll be street parking in the future

    I saw great reviews of the newly remodeled tower. Everything was perfect up until we walked into the room, laid in the bed and there was a BUG (im not sure if it was a bed bug) but I was no longer comfortable sleeping in the bed. The staff was amazing and friendly though

    They overbooked my room so when I got there they sent me to another hotel tower. I had paid for a room with a view of the water and the next morning realized I was looking at a parking lot! Took two days to get in a room that I had paid for. They told me no information about the hotel. It wasn't until the last day I even found out they had an adult pool!

    Your front desk staff was baffled as to where my room was for my stay on Aug 30th, (Marina Tower ? or Bay Tower?) and sent me with our baggage to the Bay Tower (from my original check-in at the Marina Tower) where I then received by room key (#864) that was for the Marina Tower. This created totally unnecessary loading and unloading, parking etc. Lack of training on staff? or, unmanageable workload?

    The hotel was beautiful and sits right on the water with views of the bay or the marina. Directly next to the airport, but no airport noise! But the staff was top notch. Bianca, at check-in, was outstanding at accommodating us and making our anniversary celebration special. Layla at the concierge was also awesome helping with dinner reservations (outstanding restaurant) and a Sip and Sail excursion. I forgot our waiter's name at Rumarosa (black headed and super personality) from the night we checked in late. I can't say enough great things about our stay. We typically choose boutique hotels over chains, but we couldn't have been happier with this hotel!

    Clean room. Although i booked on the expedia app for my stay for the first time and booked a room with a balcony view of the ocean. When we got to the room our view was the gate of the tennis courts and was very disappointed. The front desk said they’re was nothing they could do because expedia puts the wrong pictures for the rooms so although we booked the room and paid extra for a balcony view of the ocean we had to stick with the view of the tennis courts gate because they were booked up.

    Everything was great upon check-in. I was talking to the young man at the front desk telling him that a friend of mine was coming to visit me for about a half hour and the only place she could park was in the parking lot, which was $20 an hour. He said don’t tell anybody but I’ll give you a pass key so she can go in. Ultimately I ended up getting charged $35 for that. Had I known that that’s what his intentions were. I would’ve never taken the card and I would’ve had her park across the street. I don’t really want to list his name because I don’t wanna get him in trouble.

    Absolutely one of my top 3 stays in San Diego now especially being right by the marina. Beautiful views especially this time around in summer. A variety of activities to join around the resort. The pools for any crowd being they have an adult pool more relaxed and layed back. Then they have the other pool for the families with cabanas to reserve for your family. Very nice area right by the airport. Only thing I would say needs a little more work would be the A/C especially for hot days such as this past weekend we struggled keeping our room fresh and cold. We did keep the balcony door closed at all times but the circulation of the air just was not fast enough for my liking.

    I am a frequent traveler. I must say, this was the worse experience ever! I spent most of my time at the front desk disputing additional charges applied to my card, without my consent. I had to go from a Sr. Operational Mngr down to a front Office Mngr before the problem was resolved. Between 2 rooms, we were given $175 room credit, which we were initially unable to use because they wanted us to put the cards back on file that they took an additional $200 from, without consent .The issue was deemed a glitch in the system, which was totally NOT TRUE. This was intentional because it was a debit card, instead of a cc. Beware of an additional $50 per day charge to park your car/rental. Make sure you have a credit card for resort fees, parking, etc, so the system doesn’t glitch and you’re charged an additional $200. Communication between staff and customer was horrible. No one was on the same page. We were told $30 per day for parking, then $50, then $55. Staff needs more training, customer service etiquette and transparency. Although I was specifically told by the Sr. Operational Mngr to ask for him if there were any other problems. When I had to return to the front desk the very next day, he was there, but told the front desk staff to inform me that he was tied up. Finally, the Front Office Mngr stepped in at the end and cleaned up the mess. I’m very disappointed! I will NEVER step foot in another Sheraton because of this experience.

    The updated Marina tower lobby and our room were nice. However, when we booked the room via hotes.com, the description was not clear. It stated bay view, but it was partial bay view across the road over the parking lot. We asked for the room change but they were booked for the first night. We got moved on the next day and received complementary $50 room credit. If not for that, our stay would have been pleasant. Perhaps description of the room to be updated as partial bay view.

    Dated, tired room interior. Cheap formica-type counter top in the bathroom. Poor lighting. We didn't get the room we booked because they sold out, after we had already reserved our room. That alone was a rip off! Super noisy guests. SHERATON lost a valued customer - permanently.
