Nice property, staff friendly. Was disappointed with breakfast, long waits for replacement foods and beverages like pancakes, potatoes, coffee, milk. Also was shortage of staff to service needs. Only saw 1 person on duty 4 days in row. If you are going to offer it, do it right. Check in was a long process too!

We stayed in a two bedroom handicap suite. The room had plenty of room to accommodate our family of 5 (3 young adult kids) We appreciated the breakfast and the location to several grocery stores including Costco and Trader Joes. The staff were friendly and available.

I did not stay and I need a refund. There was no food and no alcohol. I was hungry so I had to leave. I did not like the attitude of the counter staff. I was there fleeing a fire near my house. We were asked to evacuate.

Edward at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very dark and out dated. Curtains were dirty, Coffee maker was broken and the carpet was so awful. I wore my shoes the whole time. Cleaning ladies brought clean towels anytime I asked!

We appreciated how pet friendly this hotel was, offering dog bag stations. The front desk staff was always available, answered the phone, and accommodated requests. Breakfast was timely and when the breakfast attendant fell ill one morning the staff quickly jumped in to accommodate the guests. The pool was closed for the first portion of our stay for maintenance but we wouldn't have used it anyway. My only gripe is the housekeeping. They never brought clean towels or stopped by to see if we needed anything. All but 3 butter knives, 1 fork, and 1 spoon was missing from the silverware. For us this was a nuisance because we cooked daily to save money as we waited for our new home to be available for move-in. We loved the location, the laundry was easy to use, and it was a nice place to go for dog walks. We would recommend staying here for anyone new to the area looking for a place to move in to or just avoiding the Airbnb market which seems to be much more expensive than our stay here.

This place had gone so down hill from last year. No staff to help. We asked for toilet paper because our room had 1 roll. It wasn’t even wrapped In paper. They just handed to us. Bashetball hoop outside was broke. Breakfast times were shortened and avail food was limited from last year. Hardly any staff to help. Hallways were dirt and I asked staff to clean a spill. No one did

No one ever answered the front desk phone for all three days we were there. Thought that was weird. I wish they had more places to throw trash especially since it is an extended stay. Also thought it was weird that the front desk had a dog running around and the dog peed in front of us on a hotel wall in the lobby.

This is primarily a complaint about Hotels.com; there is no mention that I could find about a $10 per night parking fee charged at this property. The hotel looks fairly new, the bed was comfortable, everything was very clean. Breakfast was fine. Staff was slow to find me a room when the one I apparently reserved was not clean when I arrived at 3:30.

  • Irma May 2026 · via hotels.com
    4/5

Overall was clean with the exception of the single bed that had some trash on it, and the bathtub in the same room had some soul residue. The couch in the living room did have a why on it. I booked this hotel because it included a gym and laundry. It happened to be in the same room, the gym equipment was minimal and the laundry room was flooded and unusable. Breakfast was nice to have. And its location is very convenient too. Close to a Costco and a lot of shopping centers.

Breakfast was only about a 3-star, when considering food temp and freshness. The waffle maker was out of order and looked like it had been that way for a while. Also, there really wasn't a business center there. No computer terminal. No copier/printer, although to be fair, they did offer to print/copy things at the front desk. On the positive side, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, and in the room, the bedding and linens were very comfortable. I stayed 3 nights and got a very comfortable sleep for each of them.

Once we got to the room, there were several cleanliness and maintenance concerns. The bathroom had visible mildew/mold around the shower areas, dirty vents, rust and buildup on fixtures, damaged caulking, and signs of poor upkeep. The room also had stained/scuffed walls, worn furniture, and areas that did not appear properly cleaned or maintained. Staff did offer to clean the room further or move us after we reported the issues, which we appreciated, but by then we had already unpacked and settled in, making it very inconvenient to switch rooms. Overall, for the price paid, the experience did not meet expectations. I feel some type of discount, partial refund, or accommodation would have been appropriate considering both the delayed check-in and the condition of the room. Hopefully management improves both the customer service process and room quality moving forward.

While the room was “clean” but the couch in the living room looked like it was picked off the street and put in the room. It was badly ripped and looked dirty. Beds were confortable however breakfast was gross. The pancake maker was broken, the eggs were watery, sausage was dry, and the bagels looked like they had been out for days. Air conditioning in room was amazing in room though. If you dont care about the breakfast and dont plan on using the living room much you should be ok.

Superb hotel. I used to do a lot of business travel and I wish that Sonesta Suites had been an option for me back then. The location is very convenient, the hotel is beautiful, the staff are friendly and very good at their jobs. And the room was excellent. The only thing I can "complain" about is that there were no towels or sanitation wipes in the gym at 7:00 am on a Saturday morning. That's it. Possibly the best business class hotel I've every stayed at.

Breakfast was good. First impression on the property, it looks good. Check in was quick and was told that they charge $10 to park per night and that not told anywhere. Elevator is a little concerning. The door was all scuffed up. Walk into the room, it was ok. Small kitchen and sofa. Sofa is old but ok. Walk into the bathroom and smelled like piss and moldy shower curtain. Wiped the floor with wet towel and helped a bit. The moldy sour shower curtain smell was really bad. This is usually my measure of how good a hotel is and this one failed!!!

The check in and out process is slow because they have maybe one person managing the property. They were not on time in having the room ready for check in. Waite for over an hour. However, they comped late check out because of it. It seems to me the staff are not cared for and in turn they may not care to be friendly or service oriented to guests. It does not seem they want to be there. They may benefit from a team meeting and having a reset in how they want to deliver their services. Otherwise they are doing the job.

Did not get to eat I thought we requested @ handicap room. It was SO far to walk I barely made it. Then when using the restroom, the toilet as so low and NO grab bars I had to get help getting up. Even in the night. The bed was very comfy and kitchenette was nice for morning coffee. BUT! The icemaker did not work for our cold drinks. After paying over $250. I did expect to be able to have it handicap acessable when we ordered that.

Fairly nice work area and wi-fi was good. It made for a few hours to do work before my check in. Staff was very very nice. Snacks to buy at night very nice, and music in the morning—piano and birds chirping was very pleasant even though it may drive the workers a bit cra cra. Breakfast was weak with signs saying "only take one so other guest can eat" on egg and sausage trays. Others complained that only one bagel was left. I felt the place is so tight on funds, they are going under. The pool was deceptively photographed to look larger. Worked for one night, but not a repeat.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was just ok. They have pancake making machine, but it was broken. Those machines are not reliable, they should have the waffle maker which always works. One thing about the breakfast, is the times it's open. Breakfast hours are 6:30am to 8:30am, not very long. This hotel is in an industrial area, so they figure the guests are off to work early. They charge $10.00 daily for parking which is a ripoff. There's no security in the parking lot. There's street parking available.

I did not utilize the hotel amenities during this stay. The lobby was clean and presentable. My queen sweet was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bedding was crisp and clean, promoting a good night's sleep. The breakfast was suitable, the coffee was fresh. I would like to see the breakfast times extend, times are currently 0630-0830. If the breakfast times could be extended until 0930, that would be ideal and flexible for more guests. I will definitely recommend this hotel and being staying there in the future.

The outside of the property is nice, and when you walk inside it’s presented nicely. Once I started walking to my room, I noticed dirty sheets and clear garbage bags left in the hallways which stayed there for 2 days. Breakfast is said to go until 930am on Saturday's, but not enough food is put out to last until 930am. When I asked the lady at the front desk if more food would be put out she told me to hang out she would be back and she never did. I waited for 15 minutes for her return and when I walked back to the front desk she was just standing there on her phone. I felt that was a bit rude to just leave me hanging. Also, I understand this is an extended stay hotel, however to only have house keeping come through once a week to clean rooms, I feel is unacceptable. I voiced that to the front desk and was just given a blank start and an “ok”. I don’t think I’ll be staying here again.

We did not use the pool. We did not go to breakfast. The room needed a little more cleaning and carpet was ripped by the bathroom, hard to open microwave as it was too close to the refrigerator, the switch from running water to shower would not completely switch, the tub didn’t drain well, coffee pot didn’t work. We do like the location. The price was good

Disappointed. Had to ask multiple times for towels. Didn’t have hot water for most of our 5 night stay. They only clean the room every 5 days or upon checkout. The gym felt like a sauna with a laundry room in the back. Housekeeper was washing towels. Most of the dumbbells (under 30lbs) seem to be missing. Had to set our trash outside the door every day for pick up. Had to go down to the desk to ask for toilet paper. If you want to save some money for below basic accommodations, this is your place! Location was great and located near a lot of shopping and restaurants. Beyond that we will never stay here again!!

For me, the fitness center is a must in my hotel selection. When I made the reservation, it looked good. When I arrived at the fitness center, I was disappointed to see that there were NO smaller dumbbells. They started at 30 or 35 lbs. The cardio machines were great though. Our room was not ready when we arrived. We waited 2 hours past the check in time to be told our selected room would not be available. A smaller room was offered. It was too late to go elsewhere. The delay caused us to be late for a family dinner which was the whole reason we came to the area. A straight up status when arrived would have allowed us to make alternative arrangements.

The room was a nice size. But the couch was in terrible condition with pet hair, stains and a 6 inch tear. The tub was either super stained, filthy, or had acid poured in it cuz it had an awful ring around it. I didn’t feel comfortable taking a bath so I showered. My husband didn’t even want to shower in the tub. The elevator was super dirty. We went into the elevator after it was mopped but it wasn’t swept first so dirt and junk was all over the edges. In my opinion the inside needs to be deep cleaned everywhere and the furniture needs replaced

The only reason I won’t give this hotel a one star is honestly because of the customer service during our stay. My family booked two nights at this hotel, however, after just a few minutes of checking in and sitting on the couch, two of my daughters and I started itching extremely bad. I was not aware that this was a pet friendly hotel, and was thinking that perhaps it was pet dander, or hopefully not fleas. So I called the front desk, and the lady that assisted me was very kind, and was able to somehow find another room for us, although they were booked solid. The second room smelled better (first room smelled like someone had been smoking on the balcony). However, it was still dingy and dirty on the walls, doors and bathroom area. When I realized this, I decided we would not be staying there the second night. We checked out early the next day and I requested a refund for just that second night. While I understand cancellation policies can be strict, this hotel was completely inflexible under the circumstances and refused to give me a refund. I am extremely disappointed because they have high ratings. Also, had it it not been in the state it was in when we visited, my family would’ve stayed both nights. I am very dissatisfied with our experience and had to book somewhere else, spending more money because we could not stay at Sonesta. I will not be book with this hotel again.

This room had levels of disgust that I haven’t seen in a long time. We got two of the two room suites and as we all finally unpacked and were getting ready to climb into bed, I opened the pull out bed and it was disgusting and covered in brown stains. Instead of having my daughter sleep on that I told her that she could sleep with me and then when we went to crawl into my bed, it also had stains on the sheets. It’s 10:30pm and I’m exhausted and now go down to the front office with the pictures of the stains l. The manager on duty apologized and had a solution of giving me a cover and sheet set for the pull out couch. I told him absolutely not would I put my daughter on that stained mattress even with a cover. Gross!! For my bed, it was only the sheets so he said that he would send the sheets up to our room. They brought the sheets up in a bag and just hung the bag on the handle of our door. I changed the sheets and collapsed into bed but still grossed out. Unfortunately this is a hotel that we will officially take off of our list. The building itself was rundown with things peeling off the wall and needing some major renovations. But the basics really should be a clean bed.

I asked for a luggage rack, none available. The clerk asked why I would need one and told to just put luggage on the floor of the closet. All the kitchen ware was mismatched and no ice trays, no ice machine. But they gave me a ziplock baggy of ice. Coffee maker in room was rusted and only given Decaf coffee t vrew. I asked for regular and was told they did gave any regular, but found me 1 pkg. I found silverfish among other bugs and smashed them with a glass for housekeeping to see. I was so shocked with the condition of this hotel. It looks so very nice on the website. Also they charge 10.00 per day to park and it’s not even a private lot. You just pull up Like motel 6. In the morning I went down to breakfast. Only to find the kitchen worker sitting at one of the tables scrolling through her phone and food was cold. The last day, I called for a late checkout around 10:30 Or 11:00 and was told it would be 40.00, Let’s just say I was extremely disappointed on my 3 night stay.

The room that my family and I were originally given was really bad. It looked as if the previous people before us threw a party in there and the staff had basically gathered the trash and fixed the beds for the next customer. The couches had stains and the cushions were all disheveled. We were afraid to sit on them as they were filthy. The beds were made but the bed covers had stains on them. The kitchen had loose panels and the kitchen ware was not clean. One of the oven mitts had food and stains all over. We were not comfortable at all in that room. I went to the front desk to request another room in which the gentleman at the front understood and was willing to put us in another room. He was kind enough to show me the room prior to switching. The next room was only a little better. The coaches still had stains and the showers had mold growing on it. You could smell the mold on the bathroom walls. At least the kitchen in this one was decent and the beds were only slightly less stained. Overall, if it wasn’t for the location, we would’ve canceled our reservation and stayed somewhere else.

This is a very nice hotel, and I love that it is suite-style with a kitchen in every room. My stay was very comfortable, and the front desk attendants were all very nice and helpful. The breakfast was also very plentiful and with a good variety of items. My only complaints are that my unit had an ant infestation in the bathroom and bathroom sink areas, they don’t give enough towels considering housekeeping doesn’t come into the room during the stay, parking is very tight, especially when people park large trucks/vans or guests park over the parking space line, and that only one person is staffed at the desk at a time. On two occasions, I went down to the desk and had a long wait time because the attendant was addressing a guest issue. I know companies are trying to cut costs, but folks working in customer service should never be left alone to serve guests. There should always be at least two people. But, overall, I am glad that I found this hotel, and would definitely stay here again.

The staff was great. Unfortunately the cleanliness was not. The towels had makeup of them. I don’t even think they were washed. This is more of a house keeping issue. Nobody came to clean the room while we were there and we had to keep throwing out the trash ourselves. The dishes were dirty. My daughter grabbed ice from the freezer and found a hair in the ice cube upon putting it in her mouth. The walls were not wiped down. There was already a washcloth in the garbage which makes me think they are not really cleaning. There was also something that looked like dried pee on the floor next to the toilet on the floor. When I put a towel on the ground because I felt disgusted with the floor, the towel was literally a dark brown on the opposite side. Which means there is no mopping happening. We paid over 400 for just two days. Wish we would have listened to the reviews.

What we didn’t like about the place was the breakfast for the last three days we were there. There was no food at all on all the warm containers; no coffee; no hot water; no bread, muffins or bagels; it was bad. There were a lot of us guests waiting for the breakfast. It was still 45 min before closing. The staff doing the food were not keeping up with the food area to ensure there were plenty for the guests to dine but all empty food containers. We had to wait for them to prepare. Took about 15 min to fill the containers, etc… Sonesta CM was the best hotel. Never experienced what we experienced in this RB location. It was a disappointment and a disgrace to guests who stayed at this facility. We’re not coming back to this hotel. The staff in the kitchen should be replaced and/or fired. They did not do a good job!!! The worst hotel to have free breakfast??? La Quinta was even better!

The overall cleanliness was just not top-notch. The restroom doors could have been wiped down, and the refrigerator door on the outside could have been cleaned. The inside of the refrigerator was clean. There was a pot, pans, and a stove. The room had great air conditioning and the beds were comfortable. The hallways and the area around the hotel needed more cleaning attention. The carpets needed to be vacuumed and shampooed. The outside area was destroyed by guests but was not cleaned up promptly by the staff. The guest areas (dining area, BBQ, back patio, and pool area) were uncleaned for hours, and if you tried to use the BBQ and pool area, you could not, as it was dirty. Yes, it was due to guests not cleaning up after themselves, but as a guest, I could not enjoy my stay. The breakfast was good; however, if you did not get downstairs first thing in the morning, you may not get any food. Coffee was out, and you had to ask. Making more food took a very long time. Again, this is an issue with the guest over-taking food. Overall, employees did not seem to care. I am not picky, as it was not a bad stay for us, but there is room for improvement.

The towels and surfaces were not clean. Washcloth left in shower. It was loud - seemed to be no sound barrier between hallway or outside. Poor signage such as for hours of breakfast or location of gym. Front desk staff were very polite but always a line that moved slowly. Facility has great potential - layout and amenities.

Went to go to bed at 11 at night and I’m sure the sheets were just made and not changed. Few maybe stains… but not taking chance and also couple of hairs. They did not charge me for the night which was nice of them. I did offer to pay something but they said it’s okay. I think most of the lack of items and cleaning was maid related I know. But the floors are gross and the couch. Needs replacing. To the point I had a shower, dried my feet and put on my new shoes so the dirt on my feet from the floor wouldn’t go onto my soles of my shoes. Bed was super comfy though. Staff was very kind and thoughtful. The lobby etc very clean and looks nice. Breakfast I don’t usually go down but my husband does and having breakfast only 630-830 seems early. Most hotels go to 930 I feel. Overall I would not stay here again until they redo some rooms. Which they acknowledged they need to. Didn’t use pool or gym as I got up at 7 am to tell them we were not staying longer.

Older hotel, run by a family not professional hoteliers. I was kept waiting at the front desk to check in, no one told me why….even though I was standing in front of them. Non-existent communications. Rooms were basic, older and needed an update and/or maintenance. Wouldn’t stay there again, now I know why it was so inexpensive as compared to other hotels in the area.

Nobody else could go to the pool and the noise went on way past quiet time. Our room was overlooking the pool and at 9:30 at night we had to move rooms. Management did nothing to keep these people quiet I was really disappointed because I have had great luck with other Sonesta hotels

The extended stay suite setup was very useful during my stay. The full size fridge and nice desk setup came in handy. Satellite TV and internet functioned well. The only area for improvement was the "Continental buffet breakfast." Coffee & tea were fine. But the food was lukewarm at best on the several occasions when I went down. And you better get there on the early side. If close to the 8:30 AM closing time, the food could be totally depleted and not being restocked up until the closing time advertised. The self-making Pancake maker had even been unplugged early too. Not asking for miracles here, but guests should be able to come down get breakfast during the advertised times and eat in the lounge area or take back to their room to eat while working. One girl in particular seemed to be non attentive to refilling items.

The staff were friendly, but unfortunately with only 3 of them working, many things were lacking.

And Paid over $300 per night but there were no hand towels, bath towels or wash cloths in the bathrooms . The kitchen refrigerator smelled bad and was dirty. Stove as barely big enough to cook on and the Tolit kept trying to clog up. Plus being Disabled made it very difficult due to only one elevator. My room was at the second floor and at the opposite end of the hotel where the elevator was located. But they had some good qualities, like the bed was supper comfortable, and it was nice having a tv in every room even though it was not needed. The suite was huge but both bathrooms were in poor condition and there were soap and shampoo dispensers but they were empty. The staff was extremely professional and very courteous and the morning free breakfast was nice and good food options. But they didn’t have fresh water which was inconvenient, because the choices were coffee tea or juice . I got in on Expedia so I felt it was a bit overpriced. Oh and also $10 a night for parking which was unessasery.

This was one of the worst experiences I have had and I stay in hotels a lot. The location is great, the hotel itself is pretty good, and the employees were all friendly. That is the extent of the positive reviews. I was given keys to my room only to find out they didn’t work. I went back to the desk where she fixed the keys. I went back to the assigned room and the keys worked! However, when I opened the door I quickly realized the room was already occupied. I went back to the desk and the lady was shocked saying it didn’t show anyone in that room. She gave me a new room. I went back up opened the door to that room only to realize I was given a single king rather than a two bedroom suite (I have 6 kids, a one king room isn’t going to cut it). I caught her in the hall on her way to check the first room she had no clue was occupied. I told her she gave me the wrong room. She told me I booked a single room king. I showed her my confirmation for my two room suite (the first room which was occupied was a two room suit). She argued with me but then realized she had the wrong name. I was finally given the correct room. The room was pretty clean but in one bathroom there was only a third of a roll of toilet paper and a half roll in the other with no extra toilet paper left in the room. Don’t count on breakfast they don’t restock and were out of everything both mornings. They are very understaffed and all trash cans were overflowing. I would not stay here again.

Started off with an unpleasant check-in. Apparently using Expedia is frowned upon by the property. The room had mold, and very run down. They must have known it was a bad room because when I let them know I was not staying my entire planned stay, they offered to move rooms and didn’t deny anything.
