Parking was easy, location was great. Middle of everything to do. Rooms was not all that great for extended say. 1 night stay probably ok.
- 2/5
The general area is exspensive and so was this at about $145 after all was paid for. The truth is its a old building and isnt very attractive. I would have rather paid a slight more for a more modern place to stay. Staff was accomadating and motel was kept clean. Thanks for a place to sleep well traveling
- 3/5
Lots of places to eat on the next block. Bed was huge but hard as a rock with only one pillow.
- 3/5
Location was great, free parking. Checked out , owner forgot he charged me 100$ deposit. As I’m waiting for deposit another lady comes in and he checked her out quickly asking for a 5star review. Then continues to check me out and he asked me if I smoked in the room , and if I had 4 people in the room. There was only us 3 girls not sure why he asked that but your allowed 4 people to a double room anyways .

Exceptional

This room was very disappointing. Immediately upon entering our room, the main overhead lights did not work along with the bedside lamps. Then, we noticed the deadbolt had by torn off from the outside and was missing. FYI, we are two people staying not the first floor. The toilet seat was also severely damaged along with the sink. Upon brining these issues to the attention of the from desk, they stated that there was nothing they could do as they were at full capacity. Also, they only now told us that the previous tenant the night before had basically wrecked the room. My question is, why were we not made aware of this damage before checking in? If they knew about all this damage beforehand, why did we have to come to them about all of it after we had checked in and walked into the room. The management was very unhelpful.

Nothing Disgusting— Room smelled like pee Floors and chairs and sheet were stained No towels Volume on TV broken Key cards didn’t work
- 3.5/5
Very convenient location right in the middle of Marina district around the block was all the food choices you would need also Walgreens around the block in case you need a drug store for anything everything is walking distance we were even able to walk down to the beach and to the art Palace I love not having to find a parking spot. Next time I go to San Francisco I definitely will choose that motel again I would have liked it to be a little more cleaner the sheets probably need to be thrown away and bought new ones thank God I bring my own and the towels also were pretty grubby

The bed sheets had stains and the hotel overall was quite dirty. Originally when I booked a room with 2 queen beds only 2 people were going to stay. Plans changed later on, 2 more people joined so it became 4 of us total. Upon checking in, the front desk employee asked how many people were staying. I told him 4 people. He charged me an additional $150 for 2 extra people because I had put down only 2 guests on the Expedia reservation. 4 people easily fit in 2 queen sized beds. The hotel does not offer breakfast or any amenities that would justify the extra persons charge. Overall I will not be staying here (or any Motel 6) again due to poor cleanliness.

After a room change it was better, great location and budget friendly I feel it needed a deep clean
- 1/5
Good area conveniently located in walking distance to shops and restaurants but building was rundown and rooms were not clean or well maintained, people arriving all through the night were loud and shouting with there not being anyone around to oversee and supervise the site, no refrigerator or amenities at all, had to ask for towels and toilet paper, light switches didn't work, interior walls and doors were filthy, parking cost extra per night, price overall was high considering what clean, well looked after budget hotels usually provide in terms of basic services.
- 3/5
Checkin, got #303. No elevator, no toilet paper, no sundries or soap, HVAC only had the fan work, nothing else, no chair for the little desk, broken luggage support, no outlet not in use that was easy to reach, no water bottles, 2 pillows, Lombard street traffic pretty loud, parking, but limited (not for all units.) But good location, and pretty cheap. You get what you pay for.
- 2/5
If you’re looking for a cheap alternative, this is the place. It’s in a great area with lots of restaurants and nightlife. But when it comes to the motel, very poor service. I was there for four days three nights with three family members and we only had two towels to shower. I asked to have the trash cleaned out and extra towels and never receive clean towels and the only reason they took the trash out was because I left the trash cans outside of our room, you could also tell the cleanliness by licking that your socks. Floors were disgustingly dirty. Linens were clean, but had holes. Just think you guys should know.
- 1/5
The room was in disarray amenities did not work the doors were faulty, bed were unclean, and it was not suitable for a family with children
- 2/5
Dirty
- 2/5
Room was dirty. Previous guest’s false eyelashes on the floor. Bugs. Horrible water stain under sink. Only 2 pillows and very thin blanket. One of the Staff was friendly. Parking was convenient. Room was not ready. Had to wait over an hour.
- 1/5
301. I stayed for 3 nights. I’m glad I brought my pillow and blanket. Dirty. AC unit full of dust. Door to bathroom had black spatters of matters. Towel handles was broken. No shampoo or conditioner. Trash which was not mine in a trash can near my door was not taken out the entire 3 days I was there. There were flies hanging out by that trash each morning. Sketchy people around. Best part is was it is walkable to a lot nice restaurants and minutes from Presidio park. But I did not sleep well.

- 2/5
It was noisy and the room was super basic but you get what you pay for and it was cheap
- 5/5
Convinient and friendly staff
- 4/5
Clean rooms good water pressure. Could hear other guests though wall and ceiling.
- 1/5
We booked a four people stay and only received one set of towels for the duration of the trip, the floors were dirty
- 1/5
they never pick up the phone either.
- 1/5
We came to San Francisco for a concert. The guy that checked us in was very nice. The room experience was not good. We walked into dirty bed frames, stained pillow cases, there was a hole on the sheet. The furniture was dirty and damaged. The lighting buttons were broken. The door to the bathroom was scratched. The floor was cracked. There was people smoking weed. We got charged parking $10 and when we came back parking was full so i had to drive around till finally we found one. We get off the car and there’s people fighting outside. So for the safety of my family we decided not to stay. Honestly i would have loved a refund since we were only there for like 2 hours but like they say you pay for what you get. The pictures online are completely different once you see it in person.
- 1/5
Motel does not communicate well. They left us outside their parking waiting . Despite our room was already booked . They never returned our calls to answer our issues
- 5/5
Courteous staff, clean room, good wifi, comfortable beds, excellent tv,, great shower; simple but adequate for a good night of sleep
- 4/5
I did not appreciate not having a bed spread. I had to request one
- 2/5
We book for 4 people and only had 2 towels. No one was at the front desk, and also on the website said that it included breakfast but we didn’t even have coffe.

Room was extremely dirty and outdated. Bath tub had pubic hairs all over and used band aids. Place was just unsanitary. Wouldn't stay again.
- 3/5
Did not have wash cloths and air conditioner did not work.
- 4/5
Clean
- 3/5
There were very few amenities and the man at the desk was minimally helpful.
- 1/5
Room dirty and wet spota on floor. TV didnt work, staff gave me hard time about fixing it and were rude.
- 1/5
Very dirty room. Mosquito were everywhere. ask for spray did not get. pillows were flat unable to use it. will never return
- 1/5

- 1/5
awful
- 2/5
It was barely clean, the walls are so thin I could hear people next door as if they were in the room. Check-in time was 2:00 but the room wasn’t ready for a half hour while the maid “cleaned” it. Hey, you get what you pay for!
- 3/5
Is located in ideal area around tons of restaurants and stores! Walkable area! Hotel could use better cleaning….ok for a cheap room.
- 3/5
Hotel correct !
- 1/5
There was dead cockroaches on the bed the shower didn’t work. Lights were not working.
- 5/5
Love people who work there!!
- 3/5
Hotel is in a great location!!! You will be charged $10/day for parking. No fridge or microwave. Mattress was old and "nested" so you roll to that spot. If you are ok with roughing it a bit to save some money and be in a great location this hotel is alright.
- 3/5
Staff were friendly
- 2/5
The person who checked me in was nice but very concerned that I was going to smoke in the room. Good location. 10 Dollar on site parking. No amenities. limited amenities. Not enough towels. Rooms dirty. Last resort choice.
- 1/5
There was no ice bucket, no microwave, no refrigerator, the blankets were stained, the stairs to the rooms were very dirty and smelled. Would never stay there again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone
- 3/5
The location is perfect. Lots of food options nearby.
- 1/5
The front desk made issues with my booking and tried to deny me check in and tried to charge me more than my hotels.com reservation and has since charged an additional $155 and refuses to do anything about it. The front desk kept my credit card
- 1/5
I took plenty of pictures I wish I could share. Either the sheets were stained or not changed. There was mold on the bottom of the shower curtain. A very stained upholstered chair. Filthy floors with some dog kibble. Water/mold stains on the bathroom ceiling above the tub. And much more I could write a novel about how dirty this place was. I left a day early because I was bitten by something while sleeping. My fear was bed bugs. Oh, and there's no wifi. They advertise having WIFI but its a lie. I cleaned and disinfected the room as much as possible. I had no other option to go anywhere else. Everytime i tried to talk to mgmt about the filth I was talked over and told they didn’t care. I was also told I was expecting too much because i wanted a clean room and wifi.
- 5/5
Affordable with clean bed and shower and there was always onsite parking!
- 1/5
No 24/7 check in so I wasn’t able to check in on the first night, charged in full before checking in. When I tried to check in on what would’ve been the second night of my stay they said my reservation had been cancelled, but charges were not reversed. Phone in room didn’t work and front desk doesn’t pick up when called from outside number.
- 1/5
Dirty, very smelly.
- 1/5
Office staff keep lights off so office looks closed. No towels in the room, room smells terrible.
- 1/5
Très sale et mal entretenu. Ne pas venir dans cet hôtel
- 2/5
I have never stayed in a hotel room so bad like that one. Two miserable awful bath towells. Hair on the floors, inside of the bathtub. I was shocked with room. I didn’t not sleep in there. It’s was unbelievable.
- 1/5
P.S we did not take any photos.
- 3/5
Bed was clean, shower hot. Cheap hotel in expensive city. This is the most you can ask for.
- 1/5
The bed basically had an pot the size of a tire on its side— the smell ya won’t other ! Loud and then king bed 2 of the worse pillows ever ! Door hard to open
- 2/5
Pros.... Great location. Many TV channels. Bed was very comfortable. Parking. Cons ...... NASTY !!! When I checked in the room was overwhelming bleach smell. There were three lamps in the room. Only one worked. Table clock was glued to the bedside table. It's plug was cut off. Bring your oun towels. The ones provided were once white. They were stained and not soft. The toilet ran for 30 seconds every 4 minutes. There is a working ice machine, but no ice bucket or cups are provided. Photos on the website show refrigerators. Sorry, there are none. A sign at front desk says so. The housekeeping staff does their best. The problem with this hotel is the ownership. Best way to describe this place is either, One step above camping, or If you ever wanted to live like a crackhead without the crack. I will NEVER stay here again !!!.
- 2/5
The room had a slight unpleasant smell when I walked in. The beds were very comfortable. There was no refrigerator and no microwave. I'd recommend the Days Inn down the street for an orderless room with refrigerator and microwave and coffee maker all for about the same price.
- 1/5
Terrible dirty, one station on tv. Smells one pillow. Never again
- 2/5
And there was some soap, but no shampoo.
- 1/5
3/10 for cleanliness the sheets the pillowcases the mattress was stained or even dirty equipment 3/10 the chair was torn the shower curtain support broken so water everywhere after the shower
- 5/5
Good
- 1/5
When we first got the keys to our room, we got a used
- 2/5
This place is an overpriced dump. The location is fantastic; but, the room leaves a lot to be desired. No coffee maker in the room. No plastic cups in the bathroom. The front desk was unable to provide me with info on where I could walk my dog. The place is clean, but run down looking.
- 5/5
Convenient
- 4/5
A little old and beat up but cheap during the week.
- 1/5
The staff was rude, and dishonest. I checked out early, and while I was taking my things down to my car, the manager started yelling at me in the parking lot. He said I owed him money for the rest of my reservation, but I left before the checkout time, so Iconsidering the condition of the room, and his treatment of me up to that point, I refused to give him any more money.
- 1/5
Room was okay but the smoke detector was broken (pretty much just wires) and there was a stain on the corner of the bed sheets. The $100 deposit was only supposed to be a hold but was fully charged to my card the day AFTER I checked out and it was never refunded back to me even though I have reached out multiple times since my checkout date. I will most likely have to dispute the charge with my bank. I would not recommend staying here if you value your money.
- 5/5
Quiet
- 1/5
Do not stay here. We are calling the city and reporting this place to the health board. We are demanding a full refund and will sue Expedia and Motel 6 if we do not get one. There is algae on the walls. Fire alarms ripped off the walls. Black mold. Windows and doors don’t lock. Bare wires . It’s a fire hazard and should be condemned. It’s a crime scene
- 1/5
I didn’t even stay there. I checked in and for few hours, when I came back I realized that there were so many cockroaches, the guy who was attending the office said that he can move me to a different room but I didn’t want to at that point, such a bad experience at that place. I paid my stay and also pay “protection for my stay” through Expedia, but neither Expedia nor this did anything about the situation. I got charged for “my stay” and “insurance” for my protection
- 1/5
Room had cockroaches everywhere. Was not clean.
- 5/5
Quiet
- 1/5
BUt the motel is super dirty , the beds are very old. The bathroom was ALWAYS wet and the door refused to close. The AC didn't work well so it ran 24/7 just trying to stay at 70 in the room. Had i had known beforehand - probably would have shifted our money around and stayed further away and just taken the bus.
- 1/5
I’ve stayed at several Motel 6 and this one by far was the worst. The door had a 1 inch gap from the door to the frame the bottom about 8 inches of the door. The sheets seemed like they were 50 years old and one set was not clean. We went to the check in desk to ask if we could get clean sheets and the person seemed like they didn’t want to give us clean sheets but did after asking are you going to replace them yourself. We also asked for one more towel since there was three of us and the person responded with there’s already two towels in your room. Two towels for three adults?!?!? There were outlets missing the covers and 80% of the outlets didn’t work. The tv did not work either turned on but there was not channels available. There was a very unpleasant smell to the room as well. It was definitely not worth the money I paid to stay there. Definitely will not be staying there again.
- 1/5
Disgusting property. Cockroaches in the bed, black mold on the ceiling and restroom. Cigarette and urine smell. Sticky floor and towels that look like they were used for rags in a mechanic shop. Springy mattress and curtains from the 1970's. Sheets look like they are 30 years old and have never been properly washed. Loud at night with street noise and crazy people yelling. Super sketchy people and activities going on at night. Definitely do not stay here.
- 5/5
Great location with guest parking, worked out great. Easy chrxk in
- 2/5
I won’t stay there again.
- 1/5
DO NOT GO HERE. There was no toilet paper, soap. The lock on the door was broken and they had a bandaid on the broken draw handle. The toilet seat was broken and the sink clogged constantly. There was also a hole in the wall. There was a hawk too
- 2/5
It did have a working tv though, which was more than the other motel 6 in the area provided.
- 5/5
This place is really nice. Really honest and reasonable rates. I left my charger in the room and I called them and asked them if they could look. They called me back within a few hours and told me that they found the charger which I found to be very considerate of them. Some places wouldn't do that but this place didn't. I would say they're amazing. Thank you for a wonderful night and true honesty in San Francisco
- 1/5
This was TERRIBLE. We walked in and walked right out.
- 3/5
Ok
- 1/5
No coffee. No shampoo. No condioner and just one small bar of soap. One towel for 4 people. Are you kidding me? Final straw.. Tweekers in the parking lot for hours packing their stuff really creeped me out. Never never again.
- 1/5
Floor tiles are coming up in my room almost cut my foot and many others handles missing from dressers
- 1/5
Nasty room. Mold in restroom stains on bathroom walls dingy grey stained towels. When complained to clerk he offered us a 2 bed room for $10 more per night! This place is a health hazard. It was late we were told he would collect for 2 nights if we did not stay the first night so we booked another place for the remainder of our stay
- 1/5
The room was an absolute wreck. Floor boards shattered, furniture falling apart etc etc etc. Hairball under covers. Super sad
- 1/5
Roaches every where, i even had to ask for roach spray which they had of course. People in office are con artist.
- 3/5
Service was good but the room was beat down, and the man talked about a $150 deposit fee that i was not gonna get back after my stay yet i already prepaid for a room, also paid 10 dollars for parking yet was super difficult to park
- 1/5
Zoologists’ delight! A unique ecosystem with outstounding biodiversity. Amid the mostly laminated flooring in be can find areas of exposed local wood and untreated insulation. Spotted three species of insect! Pack warm! There are absolutely no extra blankets nor pillows. Great ‘off the grid’ spot- no WiFi access hits room 301! You can add your footprints to the well trodden mattress which shows an eclectic history of drug use, cigarette burns, and enough stained blood to get your ‘thinking caps’ on for a little murder mystery. No television nor WiFi but enough crawly critters to keep you company! On a real note- very dangerous. Very seedy. Do not recommend for families at all.
- 1/5
This place was terrible. Super dirty. The floor was messed up with holes and and tape everywhere. It was the only place that I could afford at the time or I definitely would have left. Don’t stay here unless you have to
- 2/5
We were on a corner where no light worked to get in so dark at night when we tried to open the door. The floor in the room was torn up and taped with gray tape. Also, under the bed was very dirty. I asked for a first floor and was told they would give it to me but it was mostly for older age people. I am a disabled veteran just because I don’t show it doesn’t mean I’m in perfect condition. (Back problems) Disabilities aren’t always visible. Such an insult. We came from far away and it was late or we would have looked for something better. We won’t stay again.
- 5/5
Ok for price
- 1/5
This place should not be allowed to keep their doors open unless they clean and renovate their rooms. The floors were not only all cracked up but super sticky. The place was so dirty. The pillows and blanket looked and smelled dirty, the toilet seat was broken and taped. Between the noise and the grunge we barely slept a wink. I definitely will not be recommending this place to anyone and won’t be staying in a motel 6 again.
- 5/5
Parking is ok
- 2/5
Not expensive but needs refurbishment. Parking and next to Lombard in the Marina District is a plus!
- 2/5
The man at the front desk was a bit anxious, but tried to be accommodating. Having said that, the tiles in the floor were torn up creating a hazard, and I informed him of that, and he kind of blew it off. someone might fall and hurt themselves, so I don’t think that room should’ve been rented
- 3/5
Location great.
- 1/5
Room was filthy and falling apart. Cockroaches crawled every time I turned on the light.
- 2/5
The one shining point was that the person who checked me in was very polite and thoughtful. However, I would not recommend staying here unless you have to.
- 1/5
The room had cockroaches crawling out from behind the mirror. Floor was coming apart and there was pubic hair in the bathtub.
- 1/5
DO NOT BOOK HERE. DO NOT BOOK HERE. I understand this is a motel & you’re sort of expect a bad room. But this place was horrifying. There were burn marks on the mattress, mold on the furniture, all the sheets & towels were dirty, there were so many stains on the bed, & a horrible smell throughout the room. I didn’t think something like this could happen to me. We were there for 15 minutes before we had to evacuate. My girlfriend was crying & said she felt itchy. On top of that the clerk didn’t offer to help or give me a refund. He was very rude & standoffish. I included a couple pictures but couldn’t even get a chance to take pictures of everything else I was in a panic. Hotels.com wouldn’t help either by the way. Which is a whole other story! Learn from my mistake, do not book at this Motel 6 or any for that matter. They were unresponsive throughout this whole mess.
- 1/5
The flooring was peeling off of the ground and it clearly had not been cleaned.
- 1/5
First, the attendant wasnt even there. We had to wait for him. The room was nasty. The shower was gross. The bed had no padding so it was uncomfortable. People loud outside and above us. The floors were coming up. The mirror was cracked. The bed only had 2 pillows for a king size bed. I had to pay to park my car in the parking lot. Ill never stay there again. OH YEA, THE TOILET DIDNT FLUSH!!!
- 2/5
A worker walked into our room as we were getting ready mind you it was 9am our checkout was 11am
- 2/5
Place look better on pictures ..
- 1/5
I don't even know where to start. I guess I'll start with the $150.00 mandatory deposit they tell you at check in, i guess they do this in order for us not to steal their super dirty pissed stained mattress or their cigarettes burnt sheets. our room was closed to the stairs, and under this stairs is where garbage or storage is, and it smelled real bad. the only good thing i take from my stay is the advice the front desk man told me about leaving any valuable thing visible inside the car at all times in SF. Other than that this establishment has no place in being in the hospitality business. I have never complained about any of my stays, but i am sorry, I can't lie and let others go to his amazing city and stay in such a low quality place. Expedia should feel ashamed to offer us this as a vacation hotel option.
- 2/5
I can’t believe I paid money to stay there. Room was in very poor condition.
- 3/5
Walking distance to restaurants
- 1/5
ROACHES and little roach babies everywhere. Beds looked clean but I didn’t stay overnight. The room was probably the grossest I’ve ever seen. Painted over mold in the bathroom nasty l, cuck chair and graffiti in the dresser drawers. The property was trashy and dilapidated. It’s been recently converted to a motel 6. This place needs to be closed down for renovations not just slap a new sign on this crackhead motel.
- 2/5
The room is not cleaned.
- 5/5
Stafff were good and they took care of me right away
- 3/5
No common area.
- 3/5
It did it's job as a cheap place to stay with parking available. Seemed like half of the rooms were being used by travelers and the other half for people staying long term and in difficult circumstances. As a single female traveler, I was very aware of the need to double lock the door, keep the curtains drawn and lie to the creepy man who asked if I was staying alone and for how long. Not very clean overall but the bed was good. Saw two cockroaches in the bathroom on the last day. It was what I needed for an extremely cheap stay but I have decided, personally it's time to spend a little more on future hotels (even if you don't stay in the room during vacay).
- 1/5
Dirty floors, mold on the walls,
- 1/5
They were very unreasonable and even though I gave them a deposit they gave me nothing even if I asked for a pillow or a towel. Horrible place but like if you have a dog and don't care about your life, go stay there I guess
- 5/5
.
- 2/5
The whole place was very run down. Questionable clientele.
- 5/5
We were pleasantly surprised in a good way. The property was in acceptable condition and staff friendly. It was clean and smelled good. We did find one roach and killed it and hadn't found any more after. Our television didn't work twice and the staff fixed the problem. The second time it didn't work was 4a and the staff woke for us and addressed the issue. That was impressive.
- 1/5
There were dead roaches in the bathtub, the floor was sticky, the sheets were stained, the furniture was damaged and extremely old. The tv did not work the fridge stank of old food and the bathtub was dirty, not to mention the fungus on the sink.
- 4/5
Towels doesn't seem clean and not even an electric kettle is available for hot water for drinking.
- 3/5
I didn't like that parking spaces were so close together, the staff was not friendly and they act like your inconveniencing them especially if you ask a question.
- 2/5
Bed sheet/mattress had stains. Overall cleanliness was bad.
- 1/5
This was the dirtiest hotel I have ever seen. The only thing this place has going for it is the location.
- 1/5
Staff service horrible 👎
- 3/5
Well, let me start by saying that when we got to the hotel, i knocked on the door and waited. And waited. And waited. Then i had to go track down a housekeeping person to track down the front desk person. Then i was told that there was a $10 parking fee to park in the hotels parking lot. What?? That was NOT in the details when i made my reservation. While the room was clean and appeared to have been painted recently, the bed was horrific. The dip innthe center of the bed made it feel like we were dropping into a cenote and would need climbing ropes to get back out.

It was really dirty. Furniture old and bitten up . Nice area.

Dirty room in general, shower curtain has visible fungus/mold, walls and bed sheets stained as well as the pillows which didn’t even have covers. No microwave or mini refrigerator or cooler available. Very disappointed in general.

The room was decent enough to stay, but dirty enough for me to notice. I just wanted to take a scrub brush and bleach to the shower and baseboards. The nightstand had some sticky liquid I had to wipe off. The noise is typical city noise, sirens, screaming tweakers, etc. For what I paid, I will not be returning.

Both rooms that were booked were absolutely disgusting and gross. Nails poking through the floorboards, stains on every pillow and blanket, even the towels had stains. I would not book here.

The front-desk man was nice, very friendly, and helpful. However, I didn't feel safe here. Not clean, room was damaged in various places. Spotted what looked like a baby cockroach around the sink. There wasn't even a toilet paper holder, burn mark on the bed sheets, duct tape on bathroom door. Etc, you can just look at the photos.

First things first property claims free parking on the website but when it came to check in I got charged per day. Also I had to leave a deposit fee which wasn’t an issue but they never gave it back. So I had to file a claim on my credit card and it took 2 months for it to resolve. Tenants were there drinking and smoking which I don’t care about but they were loud when it was 3 4 in the morning and no one went to quiet them. The only good thing about this property is that it is in the marina district and the ocean is 5 min away walking distance. The fisherman’s wharf is close by as well. The area is nice and safe in the night but the property is definitely not it

I did not expect luxury (it's a Motel 6), but upon entering the room, it had an unpleasant smell that never went away (2 night stay). I found a hair UNDER the covers of one bed, the wood floors were sticky and VERY dirty.mmOne pass across the room in white socks and they were black. Housekeeper never came to clean in between the 2 night stay. Location was the only ting good about the place.
