The hotel staff was very kind to keep our luggage even after checkout, which saved us. It is next to a bus stop that is very convenient, and there are several convenience stores around that we could use. There was free coffee. We enjoyed our visit overall. The location is very calm and beautiful. It was all good. We don't have any complaints.

This is a nice family-run hotel. It is in a nice area and it is quiet with free parking space. Coffee is available for free and the people are helpful and friendly. For the price it is excellent value for money and the location is great for seeing the city.

The motel is located on a quiet, not-too-busy street, close to Fisherman's Wharf. We chose this place because of its great location. We requested a quiet room on an upper floor, but despite this, we were given a ground-floor room where we could hear every step of the guest above us. The room was very cramped — we could barely find space even for our suitcases. We only received soap and shampoo upon special request. Next time, we would choose a more comfortable accommodation.

Basic room with slightly dated facilities. Located in a nice neighbourhood, walkable and full of cafes and restaurants close by. Bedsheets, towels were clean, however window sills were full of dust and dirt, so overall impression was that the room could be much cleaner. Bathroom had a bit of sewer smell and the room itself felt rather humid.

The hotel is situated in an excellent and safe neighborhood, making it a great base for exploring. A significant advantage is the free on-site parking, which is a rare and very helpful find in this area. The biggest problem is the extremely thin walls and ceilings, which allow you to hear even the quietest footsteps from neighbors. Unfortunately, we had very loud neighbors who completely ignored quiet hours, stomping and dragging suitcases at midnight, 3 AM, and 4 AM every single night. Combined with very noisy children, I only managed to sleep 7 hours in total over the course of 3 nights. I left the hotel completely exhausted, which was incredibly dangerous given I had an 11-hour drive ahead of me. Additionally, the room lacked basic amenities like glasses, cups, or cutlery, and there were no facilities to make coffee or a simple meal. We will definitely not be returning, as we would rather pay more to ensure we can actually rest and recover during our stay.

Location of this hotel is great! You can walk to some of the more iconic places from San Francisco but is also well connected to public transport if you need to reach futher out areas. Staff was super friendly and helped us with many requests we had. The installations do feel a bit old, but clean nonetheless.

I wanted a safe reasonably priced hotel in San Francisco, where I could park my car for free and feel safe as a single woman traveling to the city. This was absolutely perfect!

I had asked for a quiet room and they gave me a room above the room that was the loudest, with 2 different guests checking in and out. There were quiet rooms in the back with no guest noise

I was greeted by Ray at the front desk and he was very helpful and had such a great attitude. The rooms were very nice and clean.

The hotel had everything we needed and was in a great location. We needed a place to hang some clothes, but there was no closet in the room that we stayed so that was a little inconvenient. Other than that I was a great stay for the price. I would definitely stay here again!

The staff at the reception could not have been nicer. Their customer service was excellent. Easy parking which is huge in San Francisco. The room was implacably clean. The property could use some TLC around the property. The one thing that made me cringe was there was a mouse in the room. I saw it and immediately called the reception. A very nice gentleman came and looked everywhere but we couldn’t find it. There were no mouse droppings anywhere in the room. He brought some sticky traps and set them around. I was afraid it would get in my suitcase or even on the bed. I not see it again, however, I could not relax knowing somehow it had access to my room.

Awesome property and awesome stuff!

Great place to have a stay when arriving late to CR or coming back. We arrived in CR at 6 pm and I just wanted a good nights sleep which they delivered. My only suggestion for these folks is update their TV’s. We were in isolated corners of CR and still had access to our Netflix which was a nice comfort at the end of the day.

Absolutely loved the location! I don't enjoy leaving bad reviews but feel that future guests should be aware of what I experienced staying there. I had to pop the sink drain bc it wouldn't stay in place and was horrified with what came out underneath the stopper. I was greeted with hair, slime, and it was disgusting. I almost threw up I was so appalled. I'm not sure when it was cleaned previously but I would not stay again if they paid me. The same goes for the shower inside/out. I ended up cleaning it and left it in better condition then when I arrived. Very disappointing when the motel down the street is cleaner then this place.

The hotel wasn’t bad and the room was clean, however there were ants streaming out of the ceiling in the bathroom. They didn’t seem to go further than the shower so weren’t overly concerned with ants. We told hotel clerk first thing after we saw them and our towel was covered in ants. They said they would take care of the issues and bring clean towels. We came back in the evening and nothing had been done. Told the night clerk who of course knew nothing about what I told the morning clerk and asked me what I wanted him to do for us, he could fumigate but it wouldn’t be aired out for us to go to bed. We were leaving the morning so we dealt with it.

However, had an issue with Front Desk Scanner, Chip reader.

An older, modest but well kept property with minimal amenities (no coffee maker in room) in a quiet, mostly residential neighborhood. Within a short walk to everything you need.

TBH we arrived at 9:30pm and my first impression wasn’t the best. But looks can be deceiving. I felt after acclimating the next day the area is perfect. SF. 2 miles=20 minutes anywhere. Cute little restaurants close by. I forgot parking is first come first serve and a Saturday night there was none. We ended up parking and blocking a car but we gave the workers are keys if it needed to be moved. There is also meter parking on street. After the weekend we had no problem with parking. The room was a typical motel room but they are making improvements. Brand new bathroom. Microwave, and mini refrigerator. Beds were soft and comfortable. Even had a super soft blanket. My daughter’s full bed was in a separate room which was great. She is 14 so we all needed a break. It was clean. We opted out of housekeeping. Only free coffee in am. Now the few complaints. Not sure if it was the owner but the gentleman who checked us in had the personality of a slug. I asked him if we had to pay for parking or if there was a garage near by. He immediately said, “I am not paying for your parking”. That is not what I asked then I couldn’t connect to WiFi and he said, “ well it works for me. Yep that was my first interaction. The room: the brand new plug in bathroom didn’t work. The TV was in a weird spot and NO air conditioning. There were 3 fans but in afternoon sun shined in and it got pretty hot. Lastly, the bathroom windows and my daughters room didn’t have screens just opened to a concrete wall

Stayed here for three nights with my two kids. Affordable, clean, free parking, and vintage charm. Rooms are maintained and ours had a fridge and microwave. Love the location, will stay here again.

I found the Pacific height inn to be very nice. it is not the Ritz so if you want all the bells and whistles, go elsewhere, but I would definitely stay here again. The room was good size, bathroom very modern. In a fairly good neighborhood. Bus stops close to the Hotel. We took public buses all over San Francisco. parking was a little tight, but we were always able to park.

For a Motor Inn/motel the Pacific Hts Motor Inn was comfortable, very nice updated room, really friendly and accommodating front desk folks, and Free parking! On both ends of my trip they let me park for a few hours before check in then after check out. Felt very safe, walked a lot from there including back from North Beach at night.

The property has courtyard parking. We were on the first floor but could not here street traffic. The rooms are clean and big w a small full size fridge. The staff are awesome.the only thing i could not get pass was the drinking glasses and the microwave within reach of the toilet. There is no ac but there was breeze at night. No screen in the bathroom window. With 3 blocks of restaurants, across the street from an English pub and a liquor store. What more do you need?

I have tall vehicle so convenient they have a few spots in front to park. Asked me for a card for incidentals, i told them i booked on the app and didnt have a card he let it go.

No frills but clean. It looked like the room was still under repair as there was blue painters tape still over various cracks in the wallpaper. Shower didn't work, only hot water at a trickle, no cold. We didn't realize until we were ready to leave. I mentioned in at check out and was offered another room to shower in but we were leaving.

A friend and I were visiting the city over night for a concert. We had separate rooms. Mine had a fridge and no microwave. His had a microwave and no fridge. Neither had a coffee maker and there was no coffee on site. There are ample dining opportunities within a 2 - 3 block walk. Other than that, the rooms were basic, recently remodeled, and clean. Perfectly fine for the purpose of our trip.

When we checked in, we were greeted with smiles from the man working the desk. Super nice! The room was clean and the bed very comfortable (King size bed). I needed an extra bath towel and the man, who was sweeping outside, said he had to go in and wash his hands and then will deliver the towel. He was there super fast and so very friendly. A great location - close to so many things and walkable to others. Parking was a huge plus for me. Only negative would be that it wasn't very quiet, meaning the windows didn't block out much noise. But, all in all, a GREAT place to stay!! I will be back!

It was a nice quiet space in a nice quiet neighborhood. We loved how clean and modern the bathroom was. It must have recently been refinished. We would definitely recommend this to other people. The only thing missing was a bathmat to put on the floor outside the shower

The facility is neat and clean the staff are nice. Very spacious and lots of outlets you can plug your phone everywhere and free parking. Is a great location. Very accessible close to the Fisherman’s Wharf. One thing that they don’t have is no refrigerator or microwave but I don’t surprise mostly the motel/hotel none of these. But is a lot nicer if all the facilty has a microwave and small refrigerator. But for me is not a big deal I stayed only 1 night. So I will recommend this facilty to go and get your reservation and you will be happy too. Free parking is the most important for me especially in San Francisco area.

This property was being remodeled however no work on our weekend! The property is an older motel design with free courtyard style parking. We had a newly remodeled room however the furniture was still dated. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. New bed linens and towels were a plus. Only complaint wss poor water pressure for the shower & no ice or vending machines on the property; there were two conveniece stores on the same block though. Price was very good for our location!

This was a great place for a week's stay in San Francisco! The room was always clean and tidy, and quiet, and the 24-hour front-desk service was so helpful when it came time to check out at 5:30 a.m. and take a cab to the airport. They had the cab right there, waiting for us! The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was hot, with good water pressure. The mini-refrigerator came in very handy, too. 10/10 would stay here again!

Front desk and staff were super friendly. Room is what you pay for. Main reason for my rating is that the light is on an automatic sensor so you can click it to turn it off but after about an hour, if you move at all, the lights come back on. Bit of a bad surprise whenever I shifted or rolled over in bed at night.

For us was good value for place to sleep until had to leave for the airport in the early morning hours. Was within walking distance of Fisherman's Wharf and had decent selection of restaurants nearby for dinner. Was nothing fancy but room was clean and had clean bedding and comfortable. No complaints and was easily half the price of other places nearby.

This is a old hotel it has a great location staff are nice but it is like going home to Grandma’s house. The two rooms were a bonus. Breakfast Muffin tea coffee juice.
