The location was close to where I was working. The room had a musty smell (probably old carpet). I walked to the Walmart across the street and got some air freshener.

The room was nice and quiet. I wanted to watch TV but the DirecTV wasn't working I tried going to the lobby to get help but wasn't able to. I got lucky and had 2 refrigerators. If you like a super firm bed, this would be a good fit for you. It was a bit too firm for my taste. The sheets were a bit stiff and scratchy. The couch was super comfy.

Me and boyfriend always go here every now and then because of how friendly the staff is and how convenient it is to go there. Including how theres a couple of places to go and eat and a Walmart across the street! I highly recommend coming here again!

Front desk gentlemen were incredibly nice. Heard a brief discussion of what room to put me in and not sure if it was upgrade or just a very nice budget room, but compared to the dump I stayed in in Vegas this is the Ritz. Very clean, nice amenities, directly next to a bus stop if you’re just going to sports like me. Can’t ask for more for such a reasonable price!

Parking was easy. Close to CEFCU stadium for a Spartan game.

The staff were really attentive and kind, excellent customer service. And although the amenities are limited because of the nature of the property (2 star hotel), it is incredibly clean and well maintained and we felt very safe and very cared for while we were there. Literally our only complaint -- which they will be addressing when they remodel soon -- was that there are no outlets near the bedside tables for easy phone charging/access and that's a pretty first world problem all in all. Would definitely stay here again if we're back in San Jose!

I don’t normally write reviews, but this motel deserves an A+ rating. They were 100% occupied, and after getting dinner all the parking spaces were filled. I noticed the mgr realizing the situation, immediately he ran out and stopped me from parking in the street, instead moved his own car (reserved space) and offered me his parking spot and moved his car into the street. That there is some customer service. At check in, very friendly, room very clean and a bit spacious. But best of all, the water pressure is 👍👍👍! Property is well kept , pride of ownership is well apparent.

Staff was very friendly, parking super close, and the room was very clean including the shower. Location is not the best neighborhood with late night traffic noise, but there are fast food options down the street by car. Was a good option for business travel, would stay there again.

It’s not too far from the Target shopping center for various last minute needs, and close to the Zoo and Historic park, where I enjoyed a short outing and saw Geese. There seems to be some construction down the street, which was my only noise frustration at about 10am, but otherwise good for the price.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I felt safe and taken care of as a woman traveling alone with a leg brace. There area nearby fast food restaurants if you arrive late in the evening and it is easy to get ride shares if needed. They had lots of on-site parking as well.

Good experience for the price. Friendly employees. Noisy because of the road and airport nearby but other than that no complaints.

Super comfortable bed, lots of cable channels to choose from. The air conditioning worked perfectly. The towels were super clean as well. An uber trip to the SAP center was ten bucks, not including tip.

Very clean. We liked the two places to eat so nearby. The place needs a few upgrades and power wash or somehow clean the stairs. Some spots needed fresh paint. Nice people and very helpful.

For my first time in San Jose, I didn’t know what to expect. Went for a convention. The room was clean, staff were very friendly, check in and out extremely easy. I am already looking into a future visit since there was so much more to do around the area that peaked my interest but didn’t have the spare time.

This is an old hotel. There have not been updates in quite some time. However, the location is great. The staff were friendly and helpful. And although the room was quite outdated, it was clean.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality for the price I paid. I'm travelling on a budget and the property is a little older but the room was spacious and clean enough. Staff was really helpful. The neighborhood felt relatively safe though I didnt wander around very late. I felt plenty safe in my room. Its a bit of A ways away from the tourist sites but close to public transport

The staff and manger who checked us in was very nice and very wanted to make sure out stay was good. We stayed there back in January and was just as amazing as now and we will be back in July.

The hotel is a small property, older, yes, but with lots of charm. The desk clerk was kind and accommodating. I was even given a bottle of water and my receipt upon check-in. Even at a reasonable price, the room was the cleanest room I've ever stayed in, ever. I've stayed in some nicer, bigger hotels that were not as clean as this, really! The bed was a bit soft but that's okay. I would recommend this property wholeheartedly and glad I chose it.

The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and helpful. We had a really nice room and I liked how quiet it was no loud people shouting or fighting or people banging around. Only I didn’t like was wish the refrigerator was a little bit bigger had trouble fitting food that we purchased in it. I will definitely stay here again.

Automatic light fixtures were erratic; going on and off at inconvenient times. Walls were not soundproof so we were awakened several times during the night by people coming and going, talking and watching television.

This America's Best Value Inn is much better than that nasty dirty one in Milpitas. Id recommend this ine instead, from the housekeeper to the property manager, they are awesome, whatever you need they will get it for you, much better customer service. Definitely coming back here again.rooms are bigger and much better. Its worth the price.

I enjoy staying here. Hotel room is always clean. It’s surprisingly quiet for the area it’s located. Denny’s, Walmart, Jack in the Box, Popeyes, The Habit, Hawaiian barbecue, Chipotle, and Straw Hat Pizza is across the street. There’s also a Chevron gas station and a Bank of the West. Great location. Close to downtown. Manager of the hotel is real nice and very accommodating. I’ve been here numerous times and will keep coming back.

I cannot imagine how other people rated this as good. The bed was so ridiculously soft that it leads one to imagining how many people have slept on that mattress or just how cheap it is. I will say it was clean and quiet but it has a creepy feel to it.
