The bathroom was dirty, hair around the toilet and floor and smelled of old urine. Bed blanket had old nasty previous occupants body fluids on it. Floors were not mopped. Clean the unit.

The accommodations were excellent, meticulously maintained, and impeccably clean.

The equipment is very minimum, but at least they have everything I needed(clean room, stable wi-fi, hot water in shower).

One outside door key lock was low on battery so we had to use another entrance, walk up stairs across the building & then downstairs to get to our room. Hotel smelled of cigarettes & weed. Very unpleasant experience.

I was visiting for work, and the family-oriented business was very well-maintained. The neighbourhood was nice, and I really enjoyed my stay—it’s just a 10-minute drive from the airport and downtown.

I did not have any problems with the room or stay. The hotel is located in a area that is lower income and you can see from the security measures you need to be careful in this neighborhood. The staff was fine, they do no have a lobby but you pay through an outside security window.

If you’re looking for the sketchy experience of your life this is the place for you. This place was outright scary and disgusting. We woke up to somebody banging on our door, attempting to break it and in the morning with somebody tapping on our window. When we complained and asked for help, we received a little response. At one point I was trying to call 911 because we were so scared! I would never recommend this place to anyone

The room was disgusting, the air conditioner had a thick layer of dust that I cleaned off myself (everywhere was just dirty. There would be potential if the rooms actually got cleaned thoroughly). The walls were filthy, the floor was disgusting. I was so nervous my son was going to get into something bad... its way over priced for the quality. The older gentleman at the front desk was nice when I arrived at night to check in, but when I checked out a day early, the younger gentleman wasn't accommodating at all and there was HUGE roach in the lobby as I was exiting.

Bad from the start. The credit card machine was malfunctioning at check in. This hotel has no elevator. The room had the look of multiple half baked repair and maintenance issues 80% finished. Chipped or missing paint, old furniture, hole in the wall at the shower head. Worst, cold water in the morning shower.

this place is trash

Cons: 1/ loud guests around 2/ heavy marijuana odor, especially the first 3 nights. I could not breathe in my own room and I’m extremely allergic to it. 3/ prostitution: I had to yell in the hallway at the guest in their rooms to keep it down because of how loud their moaning sounds were. Prostitutes were coming in and out of the hotel as if it was a brothel house. This was concerning because there families with children there. 4/ one light by the bed was not working 5/ door in mini fridge was put together by grey duct tape. 6/ toilet was not flushing properly and smell started coming out, so I had to buy a candle and opened the window to eliminate smell 7/ the shower head did not run water properly. 8/ The housecleaning lady was absolutely rude. She huffed, puffed, and would stomp the ground if you asked her for towels or blankets. Management was notified of her behaviours. 9/the day I checked out, either the cleaning lady or the older lady had walked into my nextdoor neighbor while the guy was naked in the shower and his girlfriend and kid in the room. She had claimed she knocked on the door (30 mins after 11am)

The room was dirty, the shower had string and hair in it, and the walls and furniture were damaged and dirty. The staff was friendly but the hotel is not maintained well.

There were signs everywhere that no refunds would be given under any circumstances. As a result, we just left and went to another hotel at 8pm.

Do NOT stay here. Rundown motel is in a very unsafe area. Rooms are very old, smell, bad mattresses, lamps don’t work. For the price you could stay somewhere much nicer. When I arrived there were people fighting in the parking lot. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Outdated room, bathroom floor dirty, wrinkled towels didn't look too clean.

The rooms could use a renovation. The floors were buckled and the showers and baseboards looked like they were molding. Base board in main room and flooring was horrible. The cable box controller battery was dead and the reception for the tv was going in and out.

No amenities pay at a glass window unsafe area poor room upkeep not business friendly.

It was convenient and accommodating. However a deep is necessary to eliminate spread of germs and bacteria

Management is pretty chill.....there's been times when someone may have be a bit loud I just call there room and ask them to be bring it down a notch..they normally do...it's not a top of the line hotel...but you get what you pay for

I was disappointed b/c the place was more seedy than the pictures make it look. The furniture was pretty beat up, the bed cover had a hole in it. The shower was grimy, and had hairs in it, which made me wonder if it had been cleaned.

We realized you grt for what you pay. But we figured it would at least be clean. You could smell the cigarette smell as soon as you walked in the room. The whole room had a dirty smell.

The staff were polite I just wished the Wi-Fi was better.

If you're looking for a quiet place, I'm not sure this is it. There were people in the hallway at all hours including some intoxicated females at 4:00am. I think people stay there long term. No lobby, just a window. Parking is fine. Mattress is not the greatest. It served the purpose of a bed for the night, but overall I was disappointed and won't stay there again. Microwave and mini fridge in the room makes it nice if you're stayinh a few days. Other than that, I'll stick to larger chains.

Good location, easy to find and my room was quiet & comfortable. Nice people and a warm welcome too. Much less expensive than staying closer to the airport… took only 45 minutes to drive there. I'd happily stay at this property again.

My stay at casa Royal was very pleasant, as soon as checking the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me with early checking. Super friendly. Room was clean and above all it was very saved. I highly recommend it.

The property looked as though it went thru a low budget remodel. In my room, there was no soap in shower dispenser, 1 light fixture in op and 2 others damaged, bed wasn't stable and moved away from the wall. The floor was dirty, bedside table drawer didn't close, flooring was replaced but the trim wasn't the same as the rest of the room, and the paint wasn't updated so it just looked sloppy and low budget.

wanted to share that for location and price and being a small hotel 🛏️ it's was very clean and lady helped me with my 3 am late reservation when another hotel did not respect my reservation,, I was very happy with Casa Corral and will stay there again ,,Thanks

Friendly staff. Left my charger there and they actually kept it and held onto it for me so I can pick it up. Definitely will stay with them again.

Very nice budget hotel. Secure entrance to the room doors so that is a great plus. Rooms were very modern and clean. Felt like I was in more expensive hotel. Bed was comfortable. The linens were very thin but turned on heater to make it perfectly comfortable. Water pressure was a bit low in the shower but not a huge deal. Great value for very expensive room rates this week. Hidden gem for weeks when the normal stay hotels are super expensive.

One great hotel , the staff are great folks, i've been to 100 hotels in the past 10 years and this is by far the best , a tight niched clean hotel and you feel secure staying here .

The rooms are exactly like the photos, very clean and new. Mini fridge, Micro wave and iron, blow dryer, etc. in the room. They even have a gym. Very friendly staff and check in was a breeze. I definitely would recommend this hotel.

The place was ok; bed and interior of room = excellent. Door to access the interior of hotel was very tricky to open the lock. There was a lack of little things that are often automatically supplied in such rooms (extra soap, shower cap, hair-dryer) but when we asked for one of those items at the front desk, they immediately supplied it. I missed their not having any breakfast, not even coffee.

Room cleanliness was good, too. Because the city is close, it is good to use nearby facilities including restaurants.

My bottom room had been recently updated. Good lighting and power outlets. Easy access to SJSU (7-8 minutes during morning commute). Very friendly owner/staff. I’ll stay here again. I’d pay $2 more a night for a coffee machine-please.

The main point of contact was super nice! I can’t give many more details except the bed was super soft. I didnt shower or clean up. Just slept.

Well located to launch for Silicon Valley business. Clean and roomy and a couple of casual restaurants so you don't have to drive everywhere, but the area makes this pretty much just a comfortable bed for budget business travel. Some may not be as comfortable with the neighborhood as they would be closer to downtown. I might bring my wife here, but I wouldn't send her here without me. (No fear, just her feeling of general security/comfort).

What we didn't like as much: The area is a bit sketchy as can be seen when you check in standing outside at a drive-up teller kind of window to check in. Clearly the staff does not want people to walk in and rob them, so they are behind safety glass. Once you are in the hotel side the place is nice though. We also were confused by the fact that the bed had a bottom sheet, but no top sheet? The top was a blanket. We called and got management immediately, and they brought a top sheet for us right away. On the way out the next day a guy that didn't look like a guest was hanging by the door and went in as I came out. That also made me wonder. All in all I would recommend this hotel for the price and the nice rooms. There is no ironing board or coffee maker but it is probably the best place to stay in that neighborhood, and the management was nice and attentive. If you have to stay here in this area, or if the price is right for your budget...it's recommended.

This is a petite hotel, looks family run. Nicely renovated and everyone was really helpful. Price is right in place like San Jose where $400 a night is the norm. Not in a great area of town but it is right by the 101 and the 880 which is a good location for business people.
