We thought the hotel was perfect. We frequent sanibel. Staying in almost a different place everytime. This place is definelty not the cheapest. But everything was on point. Clean beautiful. My kids really appreciated the kayak and paddle boards. So did their grandmother actually. We will be back again some day.

Beach access is excellent. Pool staff, towel availability and bar personnel all excellent. Rooms are clean, bathroom and mini-kitchen well designed. There is a smell in the water through the faucets we noticed in our shower, and in the water served to us at the pool bar and it is horrible - absolutely undrinkable. Like bleach. We did have to switch rooms from building 3 top floor suite upon arrival because that "bleachy" smell was overwhelming there. We ended up in room 617 which did not have the smell but the bleachy smell was in the shower when the water was running. We strongly recommend offering bottled water at the pool bar and making sure those ice cubes come from good water.

Definitely would stay here again. Everything was top notch. The staff were extremely nice.

Beautiful property. Amazing location just steps from a stunning beach. Apartments well appointed with clever touches including low level sensor lights in the bathroom, electric controlled blinds, easy coffee machine and a fully screened balcony. The pool was relaxing and the pool/beach team were so helpful with towels, beds and umbrellas for the beach. The restaurant, Dante’s, was well priced with excellent food (great pizzas!) and attentive staff. We took out the bikes, which were high quality and the kayaks were well used. The only thing I can think of is the strange positioning of the wardrobe in the sitting area and the odd vertical safe on the wall.

Really nice location and redone condos. Easy access to beach, good pool,, and great lunch and dinner options on site. Would recommend.

We both were very happy with the grounds, the room and especially the staff. We were also surprised and very happy that many things were included as part of the amenities. For example the bikes were free, all the toiletries, if you forget them are free. On site dining is a bonus.

Brought my mom and I to Sanibel Island for the first time. I’m so glad I chose Sanibel Inn for our stay. The rooms were beautiful, new, clean, and went beyond my expectations. Wonderful staff and amenities. Can’t wait to come back!

The Sanibel Inn is absolutely beautiful! It’s new, clean, welcoming and modern. It is in a great location, has a great beach, amazing rooms and amenities. I didn’t realize they offered free bike rentals, which was easy and enjoyable. Wonderful experience! We will be returning!!

Exactly what we expected. Beautiful grounds, lovely room, and relaxing environment. Didn't disappoint, and we never strayed from the property, since both restaurants offered great food and lot's of other outside amenities.

We loved the Sanibel Inn the property was clean and beautiful, right on the beach. The restaurant was excellent. The service was amazing. We loved having bikes to ride. Can’t wait to go back.

Beautifully kept place, nice grounds, lunges and umbrellas on the beach. Good Italian restaurant, Dante’s, and nice bar and good food at the pool. Lots of amenities. Very happy we decided to spend a weekend at this place.

The property is beautiful! Rooms are pretty with a great layout. Beach is gorgeous! Dante’s restaurant was delicious with fabulous service and priced well. The bed was very uncomfortable. The mattress is lumpy and slopes down on side. The view was beautiful but cut off by building in front of us. I did not feel the view was comparable to price.

From checkin to checkout our stay was seamless. The staff was friendly and seemed to be well trained. Beautiful property. We will return!

Everything about this hotel was a pleasant surprise. Very clean & updated. They have a very nice restaurant on property as well as an awesome Tiki Bar. The location is perfect. A straight shot from the Causeway. The new landscaping was very impressive right down to the sweet honey suckle smell as you register!

The property and rooms were immaculate. The room was a good size and we had a great view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food at both restaurants on property was excellent. The portions were also generous. This was our first time there, but I'm sure not our last time. Na

Everyone and everything were 100%, it made for the perfect weekend getaway with my wife.

The Sanibel Inn was absolutely amazing! My wife and i went here to celebrate our 20th Anniversary and from the time we booked the staff was amazing! Once we arrived they checked in on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed! Our room was completely updated and very clean,had all of the amenities, free coffee, coffee machine, toaster , plates, bowls, cups, and silverware. The Sanibel inn has literally everything u could want, stunning landscaping on the entire property, every room has great views of the pool area or the gulf or of both! The beach is very private and they provide beach lounge chairs and umbrellas! They have a tiki bar with full food menu and play music all day at the pool. They have corn hole boards, pickleball courts, free bikes to ride, they provide all of the pool and beach towels, they 4 built in grills for all to use, firepits to hang out by. They also have Dantes Italian kitchen on site which is a very nice restaraunt with great food. I literally cant say enough great things about the Sanibel Inn, they made us feel very welcome and we would reccomend to book a stay at the Sanibel Inn to any of our friends, family and to all of you trying to find a place in Sanibel! You will be happy that you did!

This was a wonderful experience from start to finish! The grounds were beautifully landscaped and the rooms were incredibly clean. The screened in balcony was a great way to start the morning, drinking coffee and watching the waves. Will be back for sure!

Room was very clean and ready a little early. Property is close to town and we biked everywhere. Would stay here again for sure!

the property is well maintained. Landscaping is beautiful. Rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. Screened in balcony has 4 chairs and a table. Nice pool with umbrellas and good food at the tiki bar. They also set up beach loungers and umbrellas for guests every day on the beach for you! Room A/C worked great. Full size fridge and microwave. It could use a closet in the master bedroom as there are only 2 nightstands with 3 drawers each, but there was a closet in main room of suite that fit our hanging clothes. Restaurant Dante's on the property has excellent food for dinner. Be sure to try the wood oven pizzas & the tiramisu.

Absolutely lovely hotel. My family was very comfortable and loved the beach. The entire hotel and room was well taken care of, clean and new. They could use more staff at the Tiki bar during busy times as during busy times the staff was visibility overwhelmed. A great family vacation and we would definitely return.

Great location with easy beach access and wonderful Gulf views.

We had a fantastic stay. The only VERY minor suggestion is to put body lotion in the bathroom. We will come back to this clean, modern hotel.

Room was very clean and brand new. The staff was so helpful. We were able to have a late checkout which gave us some additional time at the pool. The staff also offered for us to enjoy the pool or beach and we could continue to park in lot and take shower in very clean restroom that included towels. Top notch!!!

Beautiful room, screened in porch has its pros and cons

Beautiful location. Quiet and right on the beach. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had a super soggy bed the first night and they replaced the mattress for us the next day. Having access to bikes to go to town was great! Pool was also wonderful with food and bar. We will be back!

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Sanibel. The amenities were top tier. Espresso machine in the lobby. Access to their bikes and beach chairs/ umbrellas all included is unheard of. The pathway to the beach is really nice and a short walk. I found some of the best shells just steps from my room. Having a restaurant and bar on site was really nice as a solo traveler too. I would absolutely come back here.

Love everything about it!

Quiet, clean, and beautiful rooms and updated facilities with a perfect beach, pool, and friendly staff. Great air conditioning, comfortable beds, kitchenette, and fully screened in decks facing the beach and sunrise. Kayaks, paddle boards, lounge chairs and sun umbrellas available at no cost. Thanks for the great escape.

Sanibel Island is a beautiful and fragile environment that deserves to be protected.

The facility was wonderful, every thing is new or like new.

The rooms was great perfect for two. The only thing was the night stand was small. If you go to any public beach go early the parking is limited. Last week of February we had a couple of chilly days. Roads can also get busy at times. We hope to be back next year.

Absolutely loved our stay! We were a family of 5 that stayed in a 2 bedroom condo with ocean view. The staff was courteous and extremely accommodating, free bike rental, the restaurant by the pool was awesome and the space was incredibly clean. 10 out of 10 for sure! Worth the price! Don’t waste space packing beach towels or sand toys- there are pool noodles, buckets and shovels for the kiddos and pool/beach towels are provided.

Clean, loved being right on the beach and the pool was great, the lanai was really nice…had to request a hair dryer, and one day I had to call to get the room cleaned by later in the afternoon. I thought $4 for a cup of coffee in the lobby while we were checking in after a full day of travel was a bit greedy especially because we paid a resort fee on top of a not cheap room rate. That could have and should have been complimentary. Bar food was great outside. Was here years ago, much upgraded and will definitely come again.

We just returned from Sanibel and stayed at the Sanibel Inn. The property was recently renovated and the rooms were great! Very clean with a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff was extremely helpful and provided towels, chairs and umbrellas for the beach. The landscaping was beautiful. We would definitely recommend this property. It was perfect for our stay!

Little black bugs on bedside table. I killed 5 of them. Also, there was always hair in the tub. When I arrived (Someone else’s). And my own after cleaning. One day the room wasn’t cleaned or fresh towels. I had run out of towels and called housekeeping at 4pm. She came and was very nice and cleaned my bathroom and got me towels.

Nice quality SUP, paddle & lifejacket, too. It was worth it to pay the extra for the Gulf View room and 2nd floor. Sanibel is coming back!

Room was very nicely equipped. Beach was beautiful and easily accessible. Resort amenities were plenty and we loved the bikes which we used to tour the island.

Beautiful resort with great staff, great restaurant and location. Great beach access and amenities. Was difficult at first to find correct condo as building was not marked. Pool bar ran out of various alcohol and did not replenish for the rest of week.

The reception was welcoming and the room we stayed in was excellent.

The room was very nice....quiet, clean, comfortable bedding.....The hotel grounds/location was good. There were bike trails all around Sanibel. We enjoyed Mudbugs (cajan restaurant) and The Lighthouse Cafe nearby (great breakfast!) On the "down" side: The beach was not as full of shells as it was prior to last years' hurricanes. The No-See-Um population was a nightmare….still dealing with all of the “bites” I got while sitting out near the pool/tiki bar and later when in the parking lot loading our bikes onto our vehicle..... Sanibel was a bit of a "ghost" town....but at least there was no Red Tide going on during this visit...... Overall, I think we are "done" with Sanibel.....don't see much reason to return......

The grounds are beautifully landscaped. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Our suite had a gulf view and was newly renovated. We enjoyed the quiet peaceful atmosphere and I was even blessed to see a glorious sunrise from my balcony!

Make sure you get oceanfront instead of ocean view room to have the best experience.

My family and I stayed in one of the 2 bedroom condos. The rooms were excellent and view of gulf was nice. Overall staff is very friendly and property has been rebuilt beautifully.

Well-appointed unit in a beautifully manicured and maintained community. Great location and we enjoyed having the opportunity for lunch/dinner and drinks on site. The staff were all professional and helpful. Fortunately, there wasn't anything we didn't like.

Beautifully updated rooms with great lighting amenities in all rooms. Excellent A/C and hot water, plenty of towels, coffee, and daily cleaning sevice. Mesh screen on porch as an absolute MUST due to the intense no-see-ums. Some still get through but the screen helps a LOT.

This is my 4th stay at the Sanibel Inn. I love the friendliness of the staff. I had a great update about the island from Ryan at the front desk. Leon was kind and thoughtful as he had my towel and umbrella ready for me at the beach. The rooms are beautiful and clean. I loved the new updates such as the motorized blinds and the lighting features. The kitchenette and bathroom were stunning. I cannot wait to come back to my second home!

it was our 23 anniversary and i wanted my wife to feel special, we stayed a few times at Sundial resort nearby, an upscale resort. we have never stayed at this resort. but the Inn was way less expansive and we had a group of 10 friends. We came here , the best decision. My wife and kids loved it. The property was all newly renovated rooms were all new , well decorated , the beach was steps away , i fished on the beach and caught a few fish. my kids loved the pool. the guy in front desk was very helpful and super friendly, he should get a raise. never going back to Sundial again. this is my new home.

The property is pretty with boardwalk to the beach. Loved having all the food options for lunch, quick bite, or a drink. Pool is nice with chairs and umbrellas and you can get towels there. We checked out bikes, paddleboards, and pickle ball everyday!

Amazing place to stay, condo was immaculate and brand new decor, spacious and had everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable. Beautiful view to wake up to aswell.

The resort was exceptionally well cared for and pristine. The entire staff was warm, friendly and provided excellent care. My only recommendation is to rent a car upon arrival to have easy access to the entire island during a stay.

First time in Sanibel. Area is back after the hurricanes. The Saniel Inn looks great. Friendly staff. Clean, quiet, close to beach. Took advantage of beach chairs, umbrella, and lunch at the Tiki hut. Recommend Grandma Dots for seafood and The Shack for ice cream and Lighthouse cafe for breakfast.

My husband and I had an exceptional time at this resort! Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay awesome! The room was beautiful, the grounds were gorgeous! We will be back and highly recommend this property!!

The property was beautiful! The employees were wonderful! I loved that it had a Tiki Bar and you could get lunch and breakfast there. I loved Dante’s. It was so nice to walk across the parking lot and have a wonderful dinner. It was nice to walk over for an evening nightcap too! ❤️

Room was nice, just a lot of noise in the unit (my personal opinion) and a lot of construction going on around the place - I wasn’t aware of this. Understandable now that I know the area is a lot of places reopening for the first time. The restaurant Dante’s, we went there our first night and it wasn’t a fun experience. Hour wait for our food and kids got food and ate, then my husband. Then me. Said was an issue in the kitchen - again fine stuff happens, but no one really apologized, no drink refills til we were about to leave, etc. service was not above and beyond like I feel you expect in an area like that. Food options on the island limited. Stuff available at the hotel limited. All in all, a nice location. Beach is fun for shells. Kids very much enjoyed the pool. Lot of the things we experienced circumstantial but colored my time there.

Easy to go to. Just beautiful! Everything we needed for a fun, relaxing family getaway. The feel of the island is relaxed and laid back, but there are enough things to do and see to keep everyone busy. Lots of restaurants and activities easy accessible from the hotel, but you could easily make a day at the hotel with beach, pool, tiki bar, and restaurant all right there. The grounds are gorgeous. The rooms are luxurious and clean.

Our stay at Sanibel Inn was wonderful. The property was clean. The pool was lovely. The food at the restaurant by the pool was also lovely. The property was almost complete post hurricane damage. Would love to stay there again. Our favorite thing was the bike rentals. We rode all over the island.

This was the PERFECT spring break stay for our family! Everything was so thought out, clean, and the staff was beyond amazing. From the amenities to the new room, it couldn’t have been any better! Thank you Sanibel Inn!

Messed up my reservation. Not enough beach chairs despite $40 per day fee

Didine, and particularly Mickie were wonderful in the registration office. Also, the dining area and all servers there were equally as good.

Great staff, amazing property.

And the tiki bar by the pool and beach insures you never go hungry or thirsty. You don’t need to leave the property if you don’t want to. They really did a nice job remodeling the property and grounds after the hurricane. Will definitely be back.

We were so pleased with the Sanibel Inn. Unfortunately, we were only there for 24 hours but everything was just so nice. We loved every detail of the thoughtful renovation from the floors to the ceiling! We plan to go back and spend more time there!

Our family had been guest here about 6 times before hurricanes. Was happy to see they reopened. Stonework, landscaping was done very well!

1- floors were dirty the moment we walked in 2- elevator down for the duration of our stay 3- a/c went out our last night. Offered a seperate room but 2 family members were already asleep so tried to sleep with balcony doors wide open 4- hot water out for the first day 5- blinds broke upon first use. Staff couldn’t fix 6- main entrance door would not lock from the outside (door frame needed adjustment) 7- constant construction (somewhat expected) peaked our last day there with incessant banging on our ceiling 8- cleaning staff were inconsistent with toilet paper/towels/etc 9- the blinds were basically see through letting all the light from the next building over in at night 10- items in room Not put together (examples: TV wall mount units on the dressers, no phone, lamp on floor) 11- restaurant closed On positive notes - the grounds/landscaping was nice - they provided bug spray (we still got eaten up) - maintainence staff and hotel personal were personable and kind - tiki bar staff were all great - proximity to beach was great - love the screened in balcony (wish it had a light) - toward the end the owner was responsive to our concerns and made some financial restitution for our inconveniences. Hiven even more issues after our discussion, it was not sufficient enough for us to recommend or return at this time I can’t ever remember having so many issues with a vacation rental

Grand Re-Opening went great

The property is rather old but the staff and their attention to details and humble approach makes this place remarkable. I have asked for some modifications in my reservation and they were very caring about it, if you are looking for peace then this is the place. It has everyone that you might need for unwinding.

Nice property on the water with great amenities. Tiki Bar had great food and drinks. Enjoyed the pool area and free bikes. Property is a little dated and bed mattresses are worn to point of you roll to the middle of bed, they definitely need replaced. Overall great stay though!

Stayed at this Inn several times. Always a wonderful experience!!!

The rooms are overdue updating. Bland outdated decor. Ratty rugs and plan dates bathrooms. Outside of the units very unattractive especially compared to the great location and beautiful lobby building. Pricey for the level of decor in the units.

Would recommend a few more room amenities. Had no forks, only one soup spoon and a couple of knives. Also a little more daily cleaning would be great.

Accommodated us last minute, clean, friendly staff. Elevated out of service while there, being replaced, but we were told ahead of time and understand things have to be done. Not at all left in disrepair. Love Sanibel Inn!

The hotel had good amenities, however, finding someone working at the booth to check out equipment wasn't easy. The hours are also very limited.

The hotel bar by the pool had an ample menu to choice from.

Great location. Spacious rooms. Friendly staff. Could use more amenities. Not enough pool towels in the afternoon.

This resort was small but quaint. The front desk was very nice and helpful. The room was beautiful and the perfect size for my family, also very clean. The housekeeping staff was also very friendly and cleaned well. The pool was small and usually crowded as was the bar area and they did run out of towels, lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach but we eventually got them. They offered bikes, paddle boats and kyaks free which was great. The beach was wonderful and very peaceful. The Italuan restaurant closed the kitchen 1 hour before what they stated they closed but there were plenty of outside restaurants that were still open. All in all we would come back to the Sanibel Inn on Sanibel Island, loved it!

I had a reservation at this property for a second floor through Orbitz. The day before the trip they sent me an email saying they moved me to a first floor which I cannot stand because of the noise above ensure enough we had noisy people above us, unacceptable when you made a reservation for a certain room.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Everything was perfect. The staff were really helpful. Love the proximity to the beach and the beach view from our room.

Property was well maintained. The only issue I had was the availability of the paddle boards. There were none available to use they were all in use.

Loved Loved Loved! It was paradise and didn't want to leave. Staff was so friendly. Definitely going to try and go back one day

Great staff at the resort desk - very helpful (with arrival, with taxi reservation, etc.) Resort's facilities / amenities : beach and pool access, free bikes, bar, restaurant (pizza / italian; breakfast), Good view from condo itself - and large terrasse Condo needs a bit of TLC - new carpet for example, couple of bulbs off, yesterday's deco - nothing dramatic Limited supplies in kitchen

Just right! Incredible view, room was simple but clean and the beach was amazing. Beach hut staff were working hard to alleviate a shortage of umbrellas and we felt valued. GREAT front desk staff!!!

I gave the experience at Sanibel Inn very good but not excellent due the very mediocre room. Room was in need of updating, no housekeeping everyday, and the balcony chairs were hard as a rock

The AC in both the bedroom and living room were making loud crackling noises all night and it was impossible to sleep.

We did not participate in the breakfast. The location was fantastic. The bed in the master bedroom was uncomfortable and old. My back hurt in the morning.
