the bed was very nice and comfortable and cold ac with clean rooms a couple of things. the hallways of the building are dark and warm with no AC. and also the framing of the sofa bed in our room was broken and my kids had to place the mattress on the floor to sleep

The room was clean and spacious. The front desk staff were most helpful especially since we were there for our wedding and had a lot of visitors, vendors, and items that we needed to coordinate over the days we were in Sarasota. I was especially appreciative of the housekeeping staff that assisted me in organizing the room after having multiple boxes to unpack and dozens of wedding flower bouquets to sort through. Our friends and family enjoyed the BBQ grill and pool the most. That outside area was perfect and we hosted two gatherings there and had a great time!

The room had trash in the trash can and before bed a cockroach crawled across the upper wall. I stay at the Hilton from time to time and do enjoy my stays but this room was different.

Breakfast was amazing. The staff working on them Breakfasts bar was awesome. Front desk was amazing. Maintenance was amazing. We had an issue with our air-conditioning unit went out that same day they fixed it. We just didn’t have any towels in our room. That was the only bad thing about it. But we make mistakes when we’re in that field.

We really enjoyed our stay here for Resurrection Weekend. Close to the beach and Amish Community.

We didn’t have breakfast, but the rooms were big and spacious with the kitchen and well stocked with all the appliances and everything you’d need if you wanted to make something in the room. Rooms were clean, and the location was good. People in the hotel were very friendly.

Everything is amazing

The rooms were nice and clean . The beds were not great but it was one night.

The staff all were very pleasant and accommodating. Our room, which was like a little studio, was spacious and well designed. Our only problem was that the AC unit in the living/dining area was running extremely cold and all knobs were removed so we could not alter the temperature or the fan speed. The AC unit in the bedroom functioned properly. One other negative comment: bottled water in the room had a $2.50 per bottle charge for it. And this bottled water is about the cheapest - just purified, not spring water - available on the market. $200.00 per night for the room, but a charge of $2.50 for a 25 cent bottle of water. That is pretty tacky for a Hilton branded property and I thought hotels were getting away from that practice.

The whole place is old and needs new everything. Staff was nice, but the bed, carpet, and room overall itself all needs to be replaced.

People at the desk were very good. Both Claudia and the Sunday morning check out woman were efficient and pleasant. We got extra towels when needed. We usually try to stay at Homewood Suites when we travel.

We had a one bedroom suite & it exceeded our expectations. We're used to staying at resorts & so visiting this hotel was a surprisingly comparable stay. The check in process was easy, everything was clean. The walk to the room from the few entry doors is a bit inconvenient but it is just how the building was built. The hallways smelled nice & sanitary. Staff was quick to respond on text. We loved the personalized message on the TVs. Breakfast was SUPERB! The options were full of variety & taste. The breakfast staff member (I cannot remember her name but she has quadruplet children) was phenomenal. Incredibly friendly, hospitable and provided some awesome tips for the area! We loved the price ($170 w/ taxes) for the night being that we were only a 15 minute drive from Lido Key Beach & shopping area. Room was clean & no complaints whatsoever. We traveled with two littles & it was a convenient size for us all (including our playpens). We have already decided we will make this our place to stay whenever we choose to take mini staycations in this area!

The property is dated, with older carpet and textiles but the staff is friendly and everything is clean. The location is good , limited parking but the full kitchen is a huge bonus.

The worst Hilton hotel I’ve stayed in. Hallway carpets are dirty. They use heavy plug ins to musk the smell of old carpets. I had to hold my breath every time I was going to the elevator or in the main lobby. The concentration was so heavy that you couldn’t even smell breakfast food. I’ve no idea how other quests could actually sit in the breakfast area and eat their food when it felt like someone sprayed the plug in in your nose. The front desk clerk in the morning shift (a middle aged man) was always very rude. Basis questions were met with hostility by him. We had to wait for the second shift to ask for anything, like trash bags, toilet paper, clean towels, fix the patio lock which was broken, etc. They also have limited parking. We always had to park far away on the other side of the building because all parking spots by our room were taken.

Truly an amazing stay! Can't recommend this hotel enough. The hotel staff was incredible, especially one worker at breakfast that offered activity suggestions for my family to enjoy while we were in the area. The definition of hospitality, for sure! The breakfast was incredible, so many great choices and all tasted great (and we've had a few hotel breakfasts in our days). The entire space was clean, very well taken care of, and surpassed all of our expectations in many ways. We are definitely coming back, and telling all of our friends and family to do the same!

Staff was some of the best that we have experienced and room was very clean! The hotel claims to be 11 minutes walking from the beach and that isn’t accurate. The pics of the pool make it appear bigger than it actually is. The luggage dolly’s needs to be bigger and the breakfast was average.

I thought water a bit to warm but kids loved it lol. the free breakfast is also a plus. very upset with the issues i was having with my key card, i must of had to come down to the desk atleast 20 times cause it wasn't opening our room door. Then i had unauthorized charges on my checkout for the food pantry and i still had to pay it!!!!

Very nice, comfortable stay..One complaint is not having a clean room everyday, i will never again stay at a hotel that doesnt have clean rooms every single day, its terrible to have to ask for towels or clean my own room.

Hotel was old, or at least seemed older with remodels done. Had 2 rooms, one smelled musty and was out of body wash and shampoo, didn’t realize it until showering. The other room was 80 degrees when arriving and had to mess with the ac and set it to 62 just for it to turn on.

Showed up and they had given our room away and said our confirmation number belonged to someone else. Left us looking for a room at 10:00 pm.

Service was great and friendly! Breakfast was excellent! Facility was very clean and well maintained. They have a really nice pool area as well.

From the moment I walked in the front door and was greeted by Victor at the front desk until I left at the end of my stay I could not have been happier with my stay. Kathleen, who helped with the amazing breakfast buffet was helpful and so friendly. Well everyone was so friendly. I loved your hotel experience and will definitely stay there again.

My wife and I stayed here because we evacuated our own home in Sarasota due to Hurricane Milton. We very much appreciated the early check-in, as well as the friendly, supportive staff. Literally, we weathered the storm here despite the building shaking in the strong hurricane-force winds, electrical power stations exploding nearby after lightning strikes, and the loss of power at the height of the storm, which lasted several days. After the hurricane passed, we checked out of the hotel one day earlier than planned to return to our home since it made no sense to stay in a hotel with no power versus our own home with no power. The hotel staff accommodated our request to do so and issued a refund for the second night. In spite of the loss of power, the hotel provided a reasonably hot breakfast the following morning, using portable generators for power. On the negative side, the hotel could use an extensive facelift since it is quite dated at this time.

The hotel is an older version of Hilton. The floors, carpets, walls doors and overall interior is tired. I used laundry and it has older washers that use quarters, so had to go to front desk to get quarter. The halls and rooms floor covering is older, and unfortunately the first night I was in room and went to turn down air conditioner a small cockroach crawled into vent. Too tired to worry about it, so went to bed. Next evening came into room, went to hang up clothes and small cockroach on wall next to suitcase. This is Florida, and it does happen, but was a bummer. The hotel overall seemed very sate, but just tired and needed a good power cleaning. Was very quiet, and if warm the pool looked very nice, but didn't use. Breakfast was very basic, and hot options were a unique choice.

They had a great breakfast. The laundry facilities were horrible. They did refund my quarters and gave me a laundry hamper with wheels so I could take my soaking wet clothes to the machines in the other building. Some of those machines were working. Four days later, when I checked out (early), the front desk was surprised that they were still broken. I think it's misleading that the name "Hilton" is associated with this facility.

I was just so happy they finally had a room open up after the hurricane. We lost power and suffered for 4 days before they got us in. I told the night prerdon the room smelled like cegerates and he right away offered another room I thought that was good service in itself.

Hot tub was cold.

Made reservation for hotel 2 weeks before a hurricane (hurrican was unknown at the time). Arrived at hotel and was tikd that our reservation was canceled because they needed the rooms for electric workers. No communication was given tonus or expedia because it was an emergency. Expedia reps called desk while we were standing there. The employee's answer suddenly changed. He told expedia had no idea what happened and that it was just a "system glitch." BEWARE: Hilton reservations are not honored if they have a larger contract come through that is willijg to pay more, they will cancel you. The front desk employee (Omar) is a blatent liar.

Our room was in a wing disconnected from the main lobby you had to exit outside to get to breakfast. When we asked for replacement clean sheets we were told it’s probably not possible and had to beg several times. Desk staff would ignore the guests frequently and talk to each other. When we tuenwd the heat on it filled the room with smoke and turned on the alarm. The hotel manager said it’s because it’s Florida and no one uses the heater so just do use it. He wouldn’t put us in a non smoke filled room because he said he didn’t have any rooms available. Never had enough towels had to constantly keep askinf for them. Breakfast was the same disappointment of selections daily.

The stay was nice.... nobody had keys from the world wide computer issue. The staff did their best opening doors. They finally got their system back the day we left. I would stay here again.

The room was fine. Pool very clean. Workout room fine. Breakfast was good. The overall condition of the property was ok … hallways were stuffy and carpeting very worn and dirty. Our bathroom also had a “sewage” smell the first day but seemed to go away after a couple of days.

Although staff was really nice, we thought That the room was a little small as well as the bathroom. The room was a little rundown with various items that were broken. Although they have blackout curtains we still got a lot of light inside the room. Food was just ok.

The outside of the facility is deceiving. It’s an old facility, BUT it is very clean and well kept. The inside looks remodeled. It is also very clean and well kept.

I stayed here a few years ago and was pleased with the property and value, which was why I booked again. However, it now has a rundown appearance. The room looks shabby, the kitchen cupboards are not that clean, and the white paintwork in the room is grubby. The bed was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom area was clean, although there is rust in the shower. The other issues are a lack of privacy curtains (the curtains do not pull right across, allowing people out side to see in when the lights are on. Also there is very limited parking near the rooms. This is particularly unacceptable when one is traveling alone. Fortunately, I was allowed to park close to the reception in a space not usually designated for parking.
