Days Inn by Wyndham Savannah Gateway I-95

It was quiet. After driving 1,050 miles we couldn't find a hotel til this one popped up. Next time my husband and myself and 81 yr old father in law will sleep in the truck. The room was filthy, disgusting it was never cleaned from the previous people. I have pictures. I couldn't speak with anyone because right after we checked in a sign went up at the front desk "will return in 10 minutes". We never saw a person. My husband was issued 2 cards and we checked out with 3. There was a card from the previous person at the bottom corner between the mattress. At check out I tried to show the man. Before I could finish what I was saying I was interrupted by him repeatedly saying "I talk with housecleaning." I showed him 1 of many photos and he said no refunds I speak with housecleaning. I tried to tell him we tried to get a different room and no one came back after an hour we tried to make the best of it. The chair had potato chips in it 1/2 eaten. The bathtub had gobs of hair in the drain and sides. The toilet had urine in it, I flushed it, there was a ring from not cleaning it, not from the urine itself. The microwave was greasy, only 3 legs. The lock on the security lock outside a huge chunk taken out of it. Rusted and filthy floors not being swept or mopped. I wrote my name in the dust on the rusty desk lamp. The chair had stains and smelled musty and a hint of an old nursing home. The only window was greasy handprints and crooked. They need a major overhaul. Old ripped chair, furniture and filth is unexceptionable

Only cereal for a "complimentary meal" . Charged money for last minute guest.

I like the location. It is by the mall and other food places. It is also out of the way as well. It also across from to great gas stations as well as Dairy Queen. The room was clean, remodeled, and spacious.

Gentleman at from desk was super nice! Breakfast wasn’t great and the pool was closed and the one next door they told us to use was disgusting.

Easy access to 95. Inexpensive. Desk clerk very accommodating. Refrigerator and microwave. Neither ice machine worked upstairs or downstairs. The hair dryer was a fire hazard, sparks flying, I unplugged it and alerted the desk clerk. Breakfast was sparse. 4 mini blueberry muffins in the case. Cereal, no milk. Apple juice, orange juice blocked off. Make your own waffles were good.

No black out curtains and the street light outside was as bright as the surface of the sun. The TV would not turn down and the volume was very loud.

- A/c wouldn't come on at times; and turn off on its own at various times? - Office chair in room was uncomfortable. - Phone in room/desk/nightstand could've been cleaner... - *The breakfast buffet is coffee, juice, toast/waffles, some fruit & packaged cakes only; nothing warm...not a true breakfast buffet what-so-ever. - 2x roaches were seen on the room desk & near the main room door...and I notified the management and they were attentive to handling it asap!

There were like hookeds outside the hotel like working, and the rooms kinda smelled like mold.

The front desk dude with the glasses was rude and came to my room yelling in front of my kids and I didn’t appreciate that all cause I wanted clean linen on my bed ! I paid 600 that week that’s you guys job to make sure the guest is comfortable!

The ac made it really cold , just how I like it. The room was fairly clean, a roach did come out BUT it was only the first night and it was a really good hotel, would 100% stay again. The staffs was so sweet

The price was good for a overnight stay it smelled clean when I walked in the lobby friendly front staff and the rooms where pretty clean. By the why this is my second time staying at this hotel my husband and I came before so it must be ok. What I didn’t like was that it was some strands of hair in the tub of one of the rooms I had two and in the second room when you turned the water in the tub only the shower water came on it wasn’t anything there to stop the water from coming out and the tub bathtubs and showers could be updated other than that my family and I enjoyed our stay.

The location was good and the staff were friendly. The breakfast offered was cereal and toast. The pictures advertised are not the same as what was offered. The sheets had not been cleaned, there was a spot on the sheets. There were three different types of roaches crawling around the room and bathroom.

I would say this was a good price and value for just one night to sleep before I kept driving to my destination it’s renovated, but some of the stuff was pretty rundown like the chairs in the room and it could be a little bit cleaner, but it was a comfortable stay overall, and it was worth the price A lot of people probably complain about the breakfast. I mean there was no cream. It was coffee mate. There was only bread and waffles and bananas that were pretty much rotten but they did have some yoghurt and some juice and water.

I should have turned around and immediately walked out when I hadbto use the lobby restroom before I even checked in because it was Absolutely Filthy!!! No elevator for its multiple floors. The carpet was horrendous and the carpet on the luggage cart was almost black. All the carpeted areas throughout hadn't been cleaned in Years!!! My room was passable only because it wasn't carpeted. Breakfast consisted of cereal and toast with mud coffee. The only decent thing that I can say about Days Inn is that the gentleman at the front desk was pleasant. Cleanliness!!!!!!!! The Inn was DISGUSTING!!!!!! Breakfast was a Joke and unhealthy!!! You should Not advertise as Breakfast included!!!!

Clean Comfortable Updated Nothing about the property.

The soffit material used for the bathroom ceiling holds water in a moisture-laden environment. Who knows what's growing up there, and it drips down when showering. My t-shirt and towel I had laid out on the sink were wet. It's a problem.

It was close to everything you needed. The young female attendant was rude and very unwelcoming. I asked her for 1 towel and she asked me what i need it for as if it was a problem for me to get extra. The toilets had grey/black rings around them. Beds sit on some kind of metal and mad noise every time you move. Sounds like a filing cabinet.

The key cards were a pain in the butt. The coffee situation not great and couldn't get juice until breakfast even though there was a juice machine right there.

Disappointed for starts this was a last minute booking & for the price I wasn't expected 5 star treatment or accommodations I did hope that I would be acceptable considering My family & I would be there for 2 nights. The room was OK but the chair in the corner has some sort of stain on it that I can only guess be analyzed by a red light & the other chair was something that looked like it was pulled from the trash I've seen better furniture at any random thrift store without the mystery stain. There was rust along the table and inside the bottom of the fridge the TV didn't work but the A/C was working fine The staff was a mixed bag I picked this place because it's listed as pet friendly but when I left to go to an event I recieved a call at 1pm stating my dogs was disturbing some of the patrons, again keep in mind that it was early afternoon not in the middle of the night but I realized that I was the hotel staff that was vacuuming the floor & going back & forth was causing them to bark

The breakfast was minimal but they did allow to hook up my streami g apps which was convient.

Rooms were dirty, we stayed twice due to going on a cruise, the second time we brought Clorox wipes and Lysol. Won’t stay again, disgusting.

Facility was not as well maintained as I had expected. The tile floor in my room was sticky and the chair upholstery was in very poor condition. The property meets minimal needs. It is also not as pet friendly as it appears to be in the listing. I was traveling with multiple dogs and cats and was only permitted to have two in the room. They charge a fee for each dog and I was forced to leave the other pets in the car with sub-freezing temperatures. The bed was comfortable and they provided milk with cereal or waffles for breakfast. The building was loud at night with people coming in and out at odd hours. There are only two entrances, one in the center back of the building and one in the lobby. I was woken from my sleep multiple times. This would not be my first choice to stay again.

Great stay very spacious clean room , the only issue was we couldn’t get any breakfast and they were putting it away early, they take pets only 20 absolutely excellent!!!!

This is a really tired property. Terrible pillows, old furniture in the rooms. Weak breakfast. I knew it was inexpensive, but I never would’ve stayed there if I knew how rundown it was.

I had to kill some roaches in my room. That definitely left a bad taste. AC in room needs to be upgraded. Somebody’s vehicle broke down so they were in the back trying to fix in the middle of the night. Banging noise.

We ended up not staying - the room smelled - the cheap peel and stick floor was cracked and peeling up - there was toothpaste spit on the bathroom faucet (we hadn't used it yet) the upholstery on the desk chair was ripped and peeling - we didn't dare try the bed

I was disappointed that the rate didn’t reflect the condition of the property. Staff were pleasant and accommodating and that helped.

Even though the room is renovated- the A/C is extremely loud- the bathroom sink is way too low. Bed frame squeaks when you sit in the bed. Hairdryer worthless. Over priced for quality. Barely acceptable accommodations.

Then pulls a brown blanket with long black hairs all over it out of a cabinet and hands me that to use , and i said "sir there are hairs all over it" He told me to go to my room and hell find a blanket. Then he brought me a small brown blanket from a bag hopefully it was new. I never been anywhere that didnt have a single clean blanket , and the blankets in the "clean rooms" were all dirty too I have pictures too if needed The coffee machine thing there in the lobby, im not even sure if its coffee

Awful very bast I didn’t even get in the shower I stoop outside of the tub with my slides on standing on a towel. Everything had dirt on it and it smelled awful. When you walk in the front it looks fine

I do not have one good thing to say about this property. Floor was so dirty the bottom of our socks were disgusting. There was a used towel left on the back of the bathroom door. Lobby smelled like cologne, pot and BO. Morning breakfast -what very little was there- was in a room so unclean we didn’t even take to go coffee. STAY AWAY from this place!!!

We are pretty sure we got scabies from our visit. We have bug bites all over us and are going to see a doctor

The room was super small, people above us was super loud and stomped all night. Over half the outlets wouldn’t work and the refrigerator kept cutting off and on. The bathtub also wouldn’t hold water, the ac wouldn’t stay on which left the room very uncomfortable during the stay. Over all it was a terrible experience and will not go back to this hotel. The shower head only has a steam of water.

The sink got clogged in the night, and the entire place has a “hint of weed” smell. If I was by myself, totally fine-but don’t bring your family.

Breakfast- unpalatable coffee and not much more. Pre-packaged everything except stale cereal and stale bagels. No yogurt. Orange juice was good but the drip tray hadn’t been cleaned in 6 months. The price was right but that’s it. No recommendations.

I was not expecting that this hotel didn’t have an elevator my room was on the 2nd floor and it was so hard to get up the stairs

Our room had to be changed because the first one smelled like Marijuana and the floors were in such bad shape my husband tripped as soon as we walked in. The second room didn't smell but the floors were still bad. Only had a thin blind on the window so at night the lights from oitside shawn in. It was like sleeping during the day. It is close to restaurants and the highway.

We had the worst expérience ever. We left after 30 minutes. We arrived and we found bed bugs, cockroach, filty beds sheets, dirty bathroom, dirty floor and dirthy bathrom. We want a credit for the same amount tbat we paid.

There was mold in the air conditioning unit along with both beds in the room having stained and dirty linens, and towels. There was hair in the bed and on the pillow case of one of the beds in the room. I was able to receive a new set of clean sheets for the bed upon request. Paint was peeling off the ceiling just above the bed, and uneven loose flooring.

It was run down and need some up grading . Paint was chipped off of wall. Bathroom vent was apart baseboards we broken in bathroom.

Back door of hotel didn't lock. Breakfast waffle maker is bad, needs to be replaced.

This place is really run down - shocked that it is a Days Inn by Wyndham. Do NOT recommend. The staff was helpful when our sink was completely clogged and changed our room, but the condition of the next room was also not great. Door stopper pushed through - hole in the wall, floor tile coming up and taped back down, bathroom was NOT clean...

Easy to find. Property is located along a busy road so you can hear the traffic. 2 story property so there is no elevator. Staff was very nice. Check in was easy. Older property…the bathrooms need to be updated. Shower head was covered with calcium, mold/mildew in the corner of the shower, I was brushing my teeth and heard water coming from under the sink. It wasn’t dripping, literally running from the pipe. I let the front desk know. Hopefully they fixed it. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Saw a roach crawling up the wall while I was watching tv.

Did not look as good as in the pictures. I had a “deluxe” room, comforter had holes in it and was dirty. Towels were dirty. They gave me news ones, staff was friendly but i would not stay at this location again.

Room service is until 3pm and check in is at 3 pm. The floor in my room was a bit broken, give a bad impression but floor seemed clean I walked in white socks and didn’t end up black. The staff was very nice. Has a Mexican f restaurant and a Subway walking distance. Definitely did the job for what I needed and I got a good price.

The only thing I remember being wrong was that the waffle maker didn't work, and of the offerings at breakfast, that's one of our favorites.

The room was nice and clean. The breakfast could have been better. The juice machine was out of order. The waffle maker was not working right. The middle of the waffle was not cooked. No fresh fruit very limited breakfast.

Staff was friendly. Our room had some cleanliness issues, but property overall was decent.

The bed was similar to a Murphy style bed. The floor was peeling and coming up in our room, there was stains on every surface. The couch, the bed sheets, the walls, and the shower curtain. Pubic hair in the beds. Air conditioner did not work. Floor was nasty. If we hadn’t already paid and wouldn’t get a refund, we would’ve went somewhere else.

Our room was clean and nice enough but it needed some maintenance. Tub needed to be grouted, sink drained slowly, and the floor tiles needed to be fixed. My husband kept catching his toes on them. Breakfast was adequate. Biscuits and gravy, egg patties, toast, cereal, juice and coffee. No meat. Everyone that worked there was very nice!! Our stay was adequate for one day in Savanah! Its out of town but close enough for a 20 minute drive to all of the sites.

Roaches galore. My guest complained of the conditions of the place I housed them. They were 8 musicians contracted to play at our 10yr Anniversary Celebration and they satay gave out Chanber bed reviews

When I ask to talk to manager, I was advised the manager was away til next week. I asked who can help with with issue and the front desk attendant said the reservation is not refundable. So I learned a very important lesson, DONT STAY AT DAYS INN

Sink was leaking, toilet holder missing, bathroom was dirty, no elevators, and vending machine broken. We stayed two nights and never cleaned the rooms but just replaced the towels and took out the trash. We had to ask for shampoo, soap, cups and washcloths. Will not be staying again.

I booked the hotel for last minute hurricane evacuations. I have previously stayed at other Days Inn and similar class hotels, but this one is the worst of the worst. First of all, no elevators. So if you are on the 2nd floor, good luck with heavy luggage. The room itself was muggy, moldy-smelling, and not thoroughly cleaned. There were crumbs from snacks on the desk. I found used Tupperware in the wardrobe... The sheets had holes in them. BUGS, both dead and alive crawling around. The towels were stained and dirty. There was one that was just hung on the back door (just assuming it was used at this point). I was only given one tiny bar of soap for 2 people and when I went downstairs to ask for more, I received attitude and sass from the front desk. As per note at the desk, room service was only done if staying a certain time and you had to request it. I had left for the day and when I came back clearly someone had entered the room because the lights were off and the trash was emptied. Didn't even bother to look at the breakfast options to be honest. I couldn't wait to leave the day of checkout. So if you have an option and can stay somewhere else, do yourself a favor and pick a different place.

It was just a one night stay so nothing to fancy, but definitely didn’t like the bed lol it was to hard and the towels was very then but overall it was somewhere to stay for the night. Not a bad place to stay while passing through

WE WERE DISPLACED FROM FLORIDA BECAUSE OF HURRICANE MILTON WE FEEL LIKE WE WERE PRICE GOUGED.DESK CLERK DOUBLE CHARGRED US AT CHECK-IN CAUSING OUR BANK TO PUT HOLD ON OUR CREDIT CARD THINKING IT WAS FRAUD.

Carpets filthy. Socks were dirty after 10 minutes. Counters covered in dirt and dust. Toilet had poop on toilet and under the seat. Complained about room not being cleaned at all to the me manager. Housekeeper cleaned the toilet and counters and kept apologizing, saying management is not fixing anything. Then we noticed that there were In NO Curtains. Housekeeper said no rooms have curtains, they are all broken and not repaired. so cannot just change rooms. Manager came in, but didn't really care. Housekeeper put a blanket up on the window. After traveling for 10 hrs, we did not want to go to another hotel. Explained to manager, that we don't expect things to be perfect at your hotel, but they must be clean. I would not advise you stay here. Very dirty.

We reserved due to Florida evacuation and could not stay the 4 nights- we left after 1. The person at reception was friendly. Got contact high walking to room at end of hall. Opened door and a bug greeted us. Bathroom was deteriorated/highly suspect. Sheets were stained, couch had questionable crusty spots…. I do think the staff there tries to keep everything in order but the facilities are too far gone.

The entire room and bathroom was super dirty, the floors dirty and broken, outlets with no cover plates...i paid $149 per night, for 3 nights and it was a dump worst place ever...

Very old property and in need of refresh. Our room 104 the bathroom bath tile area was moldy, needed a very deep clean.

The room was fine to sleep in. Definitely wouldn’t stay again. There was a roach in room. The couch was covered in some unknown stains. There was a stain on the shower curtain I HOPE was chocolate. On the positive side, the staff was friendly.

It is either new or recently renovated so that is a plus and the lady who checked us in was super nice. Our room was fairly clean, it was what I expected for what I paid. The down side is my wife saw a roach run across the floor and the couple we were traveling with, their couch was disgusting, it had something spilled all over it, we hope it was something spilled and not bodily fluids.

When we arrived we found out by observation that WiFi and pool were not working. This was an inconvenience for us. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. We did not have towels but received them when asked. Breakfast did not have much at all. Not even yogurt or fresh fruit.

The front desk staff was were kind and helpful. The maintenance man was very rude to the employees and to my husband when we needed his help.

Window shades see through. Very noisy duecto parking lot at window. Did not feel safe. Only one person working.

I was placed in a room that had dirty bed sheets and lamp was not working and was also very dirty. I asked to move room and was moved to a much cleaner room. Breakfast was definitely not good the juice had a consistency of syrup and was super sweet. Will not be booking here in the future.

It was very well priced. Was an older building with a little smaller than usual, but had been completely redone and was very nice.

Would be fine if they were charging $70, but definitely not a $100/night experience. Plusses: room was clean & comfortable - big fridge, adequate microwave. Minuses: No elevator, pool MUCH smaller/dirtier than pictures (I wouldn't recommend it), thin comforter/blanket, pillows feel like they're stuffed with cardboard, bleak (all grey-white). They don't cool rooms that aren't occupied: our 85 degree room took about 2hrs to cool to 72 degrees. First room they gave us had broken AC, but they were pleasant about switching us. Breakfast was waffles, bisquits & gravy & pancakes, plus the usual continental offerings.

Pool was full of trash. Room was ok. Carpet in the hall looked filthy. Security doors to the outside were broken and did nothing lock. Actually turned me off of using Days Inn or maybe even Hotels.com again.

We booked through Expedia and could not find the Hotel. The address took us through some questionable areas of Savannah as we tried two different spellings of the street it was on. We had to book at another location thus losing the fee for an unused room. Very disappointed!

I had wonderful service when I first came to the hotel. I did notice food stains on the walls and coffee stains in the hallway on the wall. The pillows… I’m not sure what they were made out of, but they were flat and kind of hard not the usual pillows found in hitels.

Spend the extra money and go somewhere else. Mold on bathroom ceiling and shower curtain, stained bed sheets and bathroom towels, pillows stunk from the last guest, housekeeper would disturb you even if you had a “do not disturb” sign hanging up, furniture was stained or wearing out, damaged floors and walls. One of the worst places Ive been. Too expensive for the quality.

There were stains on our bed sheets, we found a cockroach in the bathroom, hair dryer didnt work and started smoking when I tried to turn it on. Pool was green and very unclean. The staff was helpful to a point and breakfast was good. Overall experience though was not great.

The security was good. The place needs a little work in the bathrooms. Also the cable system needs an up grade

They floor was uneven and we tripped over it constantly. The safe was in the locked position and none of the staff could help us. We were told that the owner would be contacted. It look over 24 hours to have her come and unlock it. When she did finally arrive, she did unlock it and made comments about the floor, which she tripped on, yet made no attempt to correct it or offer another room. The ironing board was filthy smelled and looked disgusting! There is only security at the front and side entrance. The door to the parking lot in the back, 2 doors from our room, is intentionally broken so, "Our guests can get in easily." No cameras at this door either. Anyone can come and go with no detection from the staff. The only nice things that I can comment on are the night employee is a very sweet gal and is very helpful. Also, they do offer coffee 24 hours.
