The hotel is praised for its convenient location, cleanliness, and friendly staff. However, many guests complain about the high cost of parking and breakfast, as well as the noise from the street.

Your greatest asset was your lovely concierge, I believe her name was Bert! So helpful so lovely! The coffee pot it the room was broken other than that it was a lovely stay and trust me the coffee pot wasn’t important

Very kind staff. Very clean. Convenient location in River District.
- 5/5
Great location and a quick walk to River street. Lots of dining options. Friendly and helpful staff, nice modern, clean, and comfortable room. Was a great experience for a night in Savannah.
- 3.5/5
Clean and well maintained Our room was facing Bay St and was EXPOSED NOISY. On a weekend night it is VERY difficult to sleep.
- 5/5
The location was great and the staff was always friendly and helpful. I loved waiting on the couches in the lobby with a coffee waiting for my husband. It felt very homey. The rooms were perfect-beds were comfortable and bathrooms were modern.
- 5/5
The hotel is in the perfect location for enjoying the historic district. Parking was simple and any time we needed our vehicle, valet had it sitting and waiting for us. The room was very spacious as compared to others we have stayed at in the historic district. It was very well maintained and extremely clean. If using the hop-on, hop-off trolley, there is a trolley stop right outside the hotel. The only negative thing I can say is that the noise from City Market was very audible on weekend nights. By Sunday night, though, when crowds had left after the weekend, we heard nothing. We will most definitely stay here again!
- 4/5
Very good overall stay.
- 4.5/5
Breakfast should have been included!
- 5/5
We stayed here for my son’s engagement celebration, it was so convenient and really nice place to stay. Only thing we didn’t love was the breakfast wasn’t too great and extra charge but lots of other options nearby.
- 3/5
Parking was too expensive and subcontracted by the hotel. Staff was not friendly or accomodating to our needs/ requests
- 4/5
Check in was 4:00 and the room wasn't ready until 5:30. Not happy about that
- 4/5
No complimentary breakfast, 40+ a night to park. If you are looking for a quiet place don’t get a room near the main road, Bay Street. Hotel was roomy, clean but lost sleep do to the traffic.
- 5/5
My husband and I stayed for one night on the drive from FL to NJ and it was a wonderful experience. Great location, beautifully renovated, very clean, and the rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Would definitely return! Just note that the parking is $50 a night, it’s not included with your stay! But the valet is convenient and well staffed.
- 5/5
The location is prime too, everything you want is within walking distance. Highly recommend
- 3/5
Fairly good location and the venue in general is quite OK. They promised us to check in in a certain room and when we got there, they gave the room to somebody else. They tried to say they were gonna give us some points, but not cool.
- 2.5/5
Good location, friendly staff, comfortable Very loud at night, cars racing every night and people yelling. We got no sleep. The room was cleaned once, we had to ask for towels and coffee every day, ran out of toilet paper, tissues, body wash and was not restocked. Trash was not taken out.

Additionally, there was no body wash in the shower (the dispenser was empty on check-in). I went and requested a refill from the front desk, but it never happened. During my stay, the air conditioner in the gym was broken, which made it unusable. This is a big deal for me. I rigorously filter for hotels with good gyms because that’s a priority for me.
- 4/5
For the price, it may be expected a breakfast at least buffett for a fee. Limited staff to cover during breakfast to order impacted service. The breakfast food was good.
- 5/5
Love the proximity to City Market and shopping area. It was really nice to have coffee setup in the lobby, but I wish the little convenience area had more items.
- 1.5/5
Nice staff To much noise in room. Extra fees, no simple breakfast, high paying cost only valet... But they were very nice.

The entry to the hotel was a little difficult to find. We tried to go through the doors on River Street, but you need a key card to get in. The concierge just ignored us at the door. The valet parking is $46 a day plus tax and tip. The public parking is more expensive, which is a joke. The valet attendant on Thursday and Friday was very attentive and she worked very hard to keep up. The attendants on Saturday and Sunday were overworked and it took a long time to get our car. My wife asked the concierge if there was a luggage cart available, and he said that there was probably one by the entrance - he didn't check. I never once saw him get out of his chair. He was rude, unhelpful, and a bad face for the hotel. We asked him about walking through the squares, and he told us that we could start at the square across the street and go from there. We didn't find out until we checked out that he had a free map of the squares on his desk. That would have been very helpful at the start of our stay. The room was decent, but we were right on the busiest street in town. Bring earplugs! The pool was okay and the water was warm. They charge for breakfast, and they don't provide anything for free. The weekday valet attendant and the cleaning crew were friendly and helpful. The rest of the staff were okay at times, and the concierge was downright rude. The location was fantastic - close to the riverfront and right next to the City Market. Both are must sees.
- 5/5
Location was perfect. Close enough to walk Downtown Savannah. NA

Parking is my only complaint, but that seemed to be the entire area
- 4/5
Minuses: Onsite valet parking, $45.00. Fee for breakfast buffet. Overall nice hotel, I would stay again.
- 4/5
Great experience just maybe some extra pillows.
- 3/5
Location is great, but the hotel is pet friendly so our room smelled like wet dog.

Great location! Close to everything. Clean and nice size room! Staff was very helpful!
- 4/5
The bathroom shower was nice.
- 3/5
Clean rooms and friendly staff. Location is close to everything. The problem is the noise from the main road which is very loud due to large trucks and traffic. Make sure you bring ear plugs or you will have sleepless nights.
- 5/5
Super clean hotel, beautiful views from the top floor and close to everything! Road was very loud even being on the top floor but they provide noise machines in the room which was very helpful.
- 5/5
Balcony view is amazing!

- 5/5
Great location to walk to the Riverfront and City Market is literally right behind the hotel. Was nice to have the outside pool and lounge chairs on the 2nd level, however, the hot tub was not available.
- 4/5
Good property in a very good location. Room was comfortable. Parking was expensive. The breakfast was order off the menu, was hoping for a buffet. A bit pricey but food was good.
- 5/5
Parking is very expensive
- 3/5
The location was fantastic—right in the heart of the historic district and within walking distance to tours, restaurants, excursions, and entertainment. The view from the balcony was spectacular and definitely a highlight of the stay. I also appreciated the front desk upgrading my room and providing breakfast tickets for my birthday, which was a thoughtful and welcoming gesture. Unfortunately, there were several issues that took away from the experience. The daily parking was expensive, and there was ongoing miscommunication with valet parking and charges not being correctly applied to my room. The hot tub was out of order, and the room had a slight odor. On checkout day, housekeeping entered our room around 8:30 a.m. while my husband and I were still in bed. Although staff said an adjustment would be made to our charges, my card was still billed in full, and it was difficult to reach a manager afterward. Overall, the stay started strong but fizzled at the end, and next time I visit, I will try a different hotel.

The staff keep telling misinformed information or omitted facts like the valet parking was 58 dollars a day, breakfast is not free and the bill was over 40.00 dollars for your basic eggs, potatoes and coffee. All in all, I was left with the feeling that they quote room then all these extra charges made the decisions for picking this location. Feeling like a gouge that if know I would not have booked. Won't be back ever.

We booked this hotel specifically for the hot tub. We were very disappointed to learn the hotbtub was not functional upon our arrival. There was also blue painters tape holding together a piece of the balcony. The air conditioning in the room, although it worked great, was incredibly loud. The side of the hotel overlooking "landmarks" was very noisy with many trucks traveling on W Bay Street. The use of the room key to operate the elevator was a bit of an annoyance as well. The little interaction we had with staff was great and over all the room was clean aside from the complementary bobby pin left in the shower.

Staff was pretty nice but we did run out of towels and after requesting some fresh ones we never received them. The bar was decent unfortunately there was only one bartender who did great but it was a slow process. I would recommend staying here though overall it was the best stay that i have had on my trips to savannah.

Hotel location was excellent. Bed was very comfortable. However, our room was on 2nd floor, next to public parking lot, very noisy at night, we can hear music from City Market. Breakfast was just OK, the 1st day we did not get breakfast because the kitchen had to close early.
- 3.5/5
We had a balcony therefore we was on E Bay St side which was nosey for passing vehicles. The pillows need to be replaced for better quality. And what for coffee maker as well as additional k-cups available in room.

The location was perfect as well as the room!

Not what I expected Forced to valet park and took over an hour to get our car back when we had a meeting and missed it due to the delay
- 2.5/5
Hotel was noisy... road noise and the air conditioner in our unit. One hotel staffer was awesome but the rest we encountered didn't care
- 5/5
The hotel was in great shape. Clean & welcoming. Staff were always very friendly. Only 2 issues we weren’t happy about : 1. Arrived prior to the 4 o’clock check-in by 2 hours & had to pay $25 to check-in even though the room was ready. 2. It is a Valet Only hotel which we were unaware prior to arrival & it was &48/day.

The property is very clean and well taken care of. Loved the ability to walk to a lot of places. Staff was super helpful.
- 3/5
The hotel is pet friendly so the rooms often smell like wet dog.
- 3/5
I liked the location, vallet, and lobby snacks! The hot tub was closed :( while the pool area was nice, it could use some updating.
- 5/5
Nice place, right on the edge of the action downtown. The front street is a little busy, had some rukus down below but nothing the hotel can do. Staff are very helpful and Valet available. Close to river walk areas and within 15 minute walk of many other attractions.
- 5/5
All in all, a great stay and if the hot tub were working and that area cared for I'd give it 5 stars. We honestly purposely chose this hotel because my son really enjoys having a hot tub so that was disappointing to us.
- 5/5
Not my 1st stay
- 4/5
It was very well located, clean, and our room was very spacious. It had a mini fridge which was convenient and the staff at breakfast was very friendly. It a bit loud at night, we could heard very loud music from outside.
- 5/5
Typical Hilton breakfast but not included (recent change) in stay. À la carte Prices for lowgade breakfast unreasonable. Go to Rhett’s for a quality breakfast.
- 5/5
Hotel was nice, location good. Room was clean. Staff was friendly.
- 4/5
Hot tub was out and with no plan to fix it, and while there was coffee & tea, there was no fresh ice water in the lobby.
- 5/5
The noise factor inside the room was the worst we’ve ever experienced from surrounding rooms to outside noise.
- 3/5
Cleanliness was fair, room only cleaned every other day, and the breakfast was way over priced and poor quality. Road noise in our room was awful and it was somewhat small for a King room. Gym was inadequate and small. Location was good but getting to our car for trips was a cluster. Not sure I would come back.
- 5/5
Room was clean and spacious. Hotel was very nice. Conveniently located
- 4/5
Just stayed one night
- 3.5/5
Staff were wonderful. Very helpful Valet parking paperwork I received said $45 per night which was to pricey then when I got there was told it was $48 a night. When I got the receipt it was For $181.83 with no sales tax so where did the $37.93 come from. Sounds to me like jacked up prices. I won’t ever use their service again and could very well Force me to look else where for my hotel needs.
- 4/5
Had breakfast one day and it was well prepared. The car valet service was efficient and helpful in helping us get into the vehicle when necessary.
- 5/5
Staff at desk and restaurant were excellent and very friendly
- 5/5
Staff was super friendly
- 5/5
Wonderful experience! Everything was great, the staff and room was amazing!!!
- 3/5
Clean room, friendly staff, technical issues with elevator and key card, but fixed quickly
- 3/5
Heavy traffic noise in the room at all hours did not allow for any quiet time
- 5/5
Nice place to stay. The staff is very friendly.
- 3/5
Additional charge for parking even though we thought it was part of the room cost as we selected parking as a prerequisite
- 3/5
I thought that it was ridiculous that I had to pay to park my car on their property.
- 5/5
The staff were very friendly especially Cabrera. The location is great and it is walking distance to everything in the Savannah Historic District as well as the River Front. The hotel room was very clean as well as all common areas. I would definitely stay here again.
- 2/5
Over priced for what you got. Would not go back to this particular hotel
- 5/5
Clean, great customer service.
- 3/5
Good location and comfortable hotel. Room was clean with good facilities The valet parking was extortionate in terms of price per night with no option given to self park. This makes the cost for the hotel very very expensive.
- 4/5
The barn door in our room was somehow broken, very hard to open and close. I reported it.
- 5/5
The room was very clean and comfortable.

- 3/5
Too noisy outside of hotel. Some staff were great some not so great.
- 3/5
We arrived early (3:00) and our room was not ready told to be back at 4 and we'd have our top floor room . Came back at 4:00 and our room was not ready, yet other people were checking in. We sat till -+5:30 was told our room was ready but now we were not on the top floor, but a couple floors down. Called Expedia and they were absolutely no help.
- 3.5/5
Our rooms were next to the street and starting around 6AM , the traffic nice was horrible, especially the trucks starting out from the intersection. I would only stay there again if our rooms were away from the front street.
- 4/5
Staff were not kind, meaning the staff behind the front desks. Snappy didn't want to answer more questions that we had. Overall rude experience.Rooms were super clean/housekeeping was so kind. The elevator inspection was expired by 2 years, huge safety concern.
- 5/5
Very pet friendly
- 1/5
This stay was a nightmare. Will never stay here again!! Noise level in room was extreme. There is NO parking, we had to pay 51.00 bucks for theor garage. Went to leave at 6am to get on the road and NO parking atendant was around, instead they were speelong in someones car and we missed our flight. Then we were told the coffee urns had coffee 24/7 in the lobby and they were bone dry at 6am and Not one staff member was in the lobby, as they too were sleeping in a backroom. This place SUCKS! Stay away and save 350.00 for an unspectacular room!
- 5/5
Very nice great room and view. But the elevators inspection displayed in elevators was expired.
- 5/5
Pool was great
- 5/5
Nice and convenient
- 5/5
Room and lobby were very clean. The staff was very polite and friendly. Even the cleaning staff would say hello and smile. Hot coffee always available in the lobby. The location to the river walk and historic area made this a prime location. Tons of shops and restaurants nearby. I paid extra for a balcony which was okay but not worth it with all the car traffic below. I was on the riverside and had views of the bridge and part of the river. The only negative overall was the noise at street level during the nights was louder than I expected. I could hear the music clearly in the room.
- 5/5
The room was really clean. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was very friendly. Loved staying here.
- 5/5
all good
- 3/5
The hot tub outside wasn’t that hot. It was just warm. Hot tubs are meant to be hot not warm. And lastly, for the cost of valet (separate for cost of hotel stay) the breakfast buffet should be free. We will be staying at this location again at some point so hopefully some things change. We loved the location of hotel, we walked everywhere.
- 4/5
We where very comfortable. Our room was on the street side so alot of street noise.
- 3/5
The valet parking was unorganized in a huge chaotic mess. Then I was giving a room on the second floor room 212 to be exact which had a window to the pool area with the radio blaring. Any day naps was unobtainable because of the destruction of sound coming in the window. We also had a wall to the fitness room I feel I was giving this room because I brought my dog. And this is very concerning since I stay only at Hilton Garden because I’m usually welcomed with my dog. My dog is well behaved probably better than most of the children that stay at your hotel. I do not leave my dog in the room. I take her with me. So I’m not sure why I was put in this particular room as a punishment or at least that’s how my companion and I felt the hotel itself was clean. Most of the staff was friendly when checking out one of the ladies at the front desk just turned away when I handed her the key one time I ordered my vehicle and had to wait 20 minutes for them to bring it after I had ordered it and took 10 minutes to come down the elevator. I usually do not write these comments, but I feel that if you don’t told you will not know and I have in the past and enjoyed staying at your hotel and hope this can be addressed so I can continue to do so again I only stay at the Hilton Garden Inn because it’s pet friendly if I’m going to have to stay in a room outback in the shed by the bathroom where it stinks whatever the worst case scenario, I’ll start staying at a different location. There’s plenty to
- 5/5
Clean room and staff were helpful but pay to park a ridiculous amount and then they ask for a tip
- 5/5
Loved it all. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, and location was perfect
- 5/5
Great place to stay. No complaints!
- 3/5
room was comfortable and quiet We didn't like the fact that dogs can stay in any room in the hotel. That means I was sleeping in a bed that a dog had slept in the night before. This is common practice at Hilton Gardens Inn. We will not be staying at one in the future. Valet service was not affiliated with the hotel. The valet lost our keys. After a lengthy search they were found. When I ask the front desk about the valet service they told me they have nothing to do with it!
- 4.5/5
I wanted a light brkfst, (a simple bagel or croissant) but had to buy the buffet.
- 1.5/5
Location was good. Room was spacious. Front desk was completely inflexible to my problem which was weather at home. Got to Savannah at noon. My room wasn’t ready. Desk told be check-in was 4:00 pm. I told them that I didn’t think I would be checking in because there was a predicted blizzard I was going to be driving into. They didn’t care. Just repeated saying the room is prepaid and nothing they could do. I asked if there was another room ready so that I could at least get some sleep before I continued my journey. NOPE. My assigned room was my assigned room and it wasn’t cleaned yet. It was finally clean at 3:40 pm. I spent 2 hours in the room. Not happy with Booking.com or Hilton.

Great location and nice hotel!
- 4/5
Clean, great location. Only negative was our room was on the street side and traffic was noisey
- 5/5

Staff. The woman who checked us in was not the least bit friendly. No smiles, no hello. We did not feel welcome. A terrible way to start our stay. She was there again this morning. She acted the exact same way. I am very surprised that your hotel is ok with this. We are travelers. This would keep us from returning
- 4/5
The room was clean, they were very polite when checking in. Great location in town. However- bathroom sink would not drain properly- it was kinda gross. Only option was valet which was very pricey- a bit overkill at nearly $50 per night. And when I asked about a late checkout- they said only for a fee. That is the first time (especially during slow season), I’ve ever been asked to pay a fee. Most times, it’s been a courtesy if available. It’s not ideal when you get charged a full day but can’t check in these days until 3/4 PM, to then feel like you’re nickeled and dimed.
- 4/5
The room was huge, The view was amazing, and the staff was incredible.
- 4/5
Clean room...friendly staff.
- 5/5
yes
- 4/5
Room was clean. Hotel staff was very friendly. My only real complaint is the parking. $48 a day for “protected” valet parking is ridiculous to me. I found my vehicle parked outside across the street early one morning. That’s not protected.
- 5/5
Great hotel near the water
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and accommodating- rooms were spacious

Spotless room. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Over the top actually.

Great location. Right beside City Market. Great hot tub. Nice room, but our room was facing Bay Street and it was extremely loud until about 3am. The traffic noise was so loud that it kept us awake, even with the sound machine that was provided. Also, be aware that parking is not free! It’s $48 per day + tip for Valet. Typical rate for the city, but it was an unexpected expense for us. Also lots of hotel taxes that were unexpected, which are typical in the city, as well. Overall, a good place to stay. Might be worth the extra cost to get a balcony room which face the back side of building, instead of the busy street.
- 4/5
Great location!
- 4/5
Very clean, spacious. Main complaint would be need more counter space in bathroom.
- 4/5
The overall experience was great! I had one minor issue with one of the light bulbs being blown when I got to the room, but other than that, I would definitely stay again.
- 3/5
The hotel was very nice and the location was convenient, we waited for several minutes for someone to show up at the reception desk to check us in. I got a text later asking how everything was and to let them know if we needed anything, I did text and ask a question and got a response a team member would be with us shortly but nothing, we got the infomation by using Google.
- 4/5
Staff was extremely courteous, the only complain I have is that the towels didn’t seem clean. One of them, smelled of body oil.
- 5/5
Room was immaculate and the staff was very helpful and polite
- 2/5
charged for breakfast, only available parking was valet, which was very expensive. Felt like a tourist trap.
- 4/5
No option for free parking. The only entrance for checking in was for valet parking. $50 for one night pretty steep. Will probably look at other options next time.
- 1/5
Booked Online at 9:00 PM by the time we got to the hotel, our room was not available and we were not told this when we checked in. We went to our room to find 2 queen beds instead of a junior king room. We walked back to the desk and she told us that there was nothing else available and she was just the night auditor and we could speak to the manager in the morning. We tried other hotels and they said our preferred room type was not available. Not sure if this is an Expedia problem or hotel problem but just disappointed.

1. Balcony door doesn’t seal and we had persistent cold air leaking into the room 2. The neighborhood is very noisy late till 3 am on the weekend, and with the leaky door and non sound proof glass couldn’t get a quiet sleep until 3 in the morning
- 2/5
The bar in the lobby never opened (one reason we likes this property) Breakfast buffet was horrible the food was cold and was still charged for even though we complained Had to hunt down valet service to get my car Room had a musty smell (this wasn’t that big of a deal) but when the front desk was informed of these issues all we got was an I’m sorry. Just the overall stay was not what we have come to expect from this property as we have stayed there over the last 4 years numerous times. Not sure I will rebook
- 5/5
The room was very clean
- 3/5
Not allot of staff. Bar closed. On Expedia I selected river view and even show that picture. Not only is it not on riverfront and did not get that side of hotel but had back of hotel on very busy and loud street. Booked my car for checkout if 530 am and even talked to them to confirm but yet no one there at that time. Girl at desk not helpful snd seemed not to care. I got my car after 610am.
- 5/5
Valet was good, breakfast was very good with a variety. Felt very safe as you needed a room key to use the elevators.
- 5/5
Everything was very clean and cute! Monica was amazing and so helpful!
- 4/5
Reliable place to stay. Fire alarm went off and there was no communication. Assumed it was false. There is usually an announcement made. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay.
- 3/5
Yes
- 5/5
Clean. Bed was comfortable.
- 3/5
Room was nice. Staff was nice. But you had to pay for parking and breakfast was not free. No explanation of this while booking
- 1/5
The room was ok but never serviced during the 4 days were we there but worse was the BED BUGS we got from sleeping there!! Horrible inching for days after!! There should be a code to ensure all Hilton Hotel rooms are inspected regularly. Obviously this Hilton neglected this basic customer health issue. Avoid.
- 5/5
Great hotel. The location was perfect. Walking distance to great restaurants and shopping and coffee. It wasn’t too far of a walk from Forsyth Park and the basilica if you are willing. The room was clean. They always offer you waters and the lobby is nice and clean. The bar was never open during my visit. And they offer breakfast for a fee. I will definitely stay here again.
- 1/5
The company running the valet charged me TWICE!
- 5/5
Front desk staff was courteous. Room was clean. For some reason I am always given a room next to the pool. I didn’t think to ask the staff why that might be the case. I missed out on having a sunlit room because I would not have any privacy and it would leave myself and the pool guests staring at each other… pretty awkward… otherwise it was a nice stay.
- 5/5
The room was very clean. Staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.
- 3/5
But thought this one needed it. We got to the hotel around 2 and check in shows 4 but most places if the rooms are clean will let you check in well they did but charged us an additional $25 when already paying $300 for the night. The bed was so uncomfortable they need to invest in better mattresses or mattress topper. Also got up went downstairs to get Coffee and they said sorry the coffee machine isn’t working. So I know things happen but what you pay to stay not even 24 hours is crazy everything should be working and beds should be comfortable.
- 3/5
Housekeeping wasn't performed on one of the days, even though it was requested. And, on the day that it was performed, the housekeeping staff made the bed and replaced the towels but didn't take away the used towels, and just left them behind in the room!
- 5/5
Everything and location
- 4/5
Sense of urgency by valet was gold standard.
- 1/5
Food was cold, bead rock hard, unfriendly staff. Room was only cleaned once my four days there. Never saw a bar might want to check the facility out yourself.
- 4/5
Location was nice / great walkability.
- 1/5
차소리 너무 시끄러워서 새벽에 잠을 잘수가없어요.
- 4/5
Very clean. Staff was courtesy from front desk to maid. We valet parked the car and the team there was excellent.
- 5/5
The room, staff, and location were excellent
- 5/5
The staff were so wonderful and the room was amazing. We were disappointed that the bar was closed.
- 5/5
Great location, hotel, and staff! Would stay here again.
- 4/5
Rooms were spotlight's the chicken and checkout was very efficient and the service was excellent.
- 5/5
Staff embodied southern hospitality! Right downtown. Good walking for able bodies. Room was clean, comfy and had everything you needed.
- 5/5
Everything was so great! Room, staff, valet, all wonderful!! Proximity to city market and river street was perfect. Will def make this a spot to stay when I’m in Savannah!
- 3/5
Coffee was very diluted and never a fresh cup available, staff was very rude one morning and obviously didnt like her job.
- 5/5
Excellent service and great location near the heart of the historic district. The room was very large and clean. 10/10
- 5/5
Really enjoyed my stay.
- 3/5
I was disappointed in transparency about the parking. They charge $48 a day to park. Not one person mentioned the cost. We had to ask. Each person at the front desk seemed detached like they didn’t want to be there. This wasn’t what I expected from the Hilton.
- 5/5
The staff was extremely nice and very helpful
- 5/5
Everyone of the employees was friendly and very helpful. The hotel is well maintained with excellent views of the historic district with shops and restaurants within walking distance.
- 5/5
Valet parking and front desk staff were friendly and helpful
- 3/5
The hotel was pretty and in a pretty area. There was a roach in our room when we arrived, we asked to switch rooms and front desk staff were reluctant and a bit rude about it. Valet parking is the only thing available and they were quite slow to bring out the car. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay.
- 2/5
valet staff (separate from hotel) is hit or miss, and they accidentally broke my key fob (and did offer to replace it/waved my valet parking fees) the hotel staff is incredibly hit or miss. i found only one person was helpful, everyone else was either on their phone/had their airpods in and don’t seem to want to help anyone. the breakfast also is not free, which is not mentioned by the staff upon check in. i would have canceled my booking and found somewhere else to stay if i could, but the hotel refused to wave the cancelation fee. incredibly disappointed to have spent so much money on my stay at this hotel.
- 4/5
Super location…… nice comfort room.
- 5/5
Staff like that is hard to find, she is priceless!
- 5/5
Lovely hotel. Clean and comfortable.
- 4/5
Room was clean, staff was friendly
- 4/5
Room was clean and staff was friendly
- 5/5
The hotel is the perfect location for down town. Everything was within walking distance to most of the activities we did!
- 4/5
Room was clean and the staff were very helpful!
- 1/5
There was an incident during our first night with a large group of loud men coming in drunk around 4:30 am. They started yelling “where are the hot chicks? We NEED WOMEN!” and began banging on random doors, including mine. I felt trapped and vulnerable. Police had to kick them out. As a woman this was very scary. I was not treated with respect by Hilton or Hotels.com regarding the incident after I reported it. I requested a refund for the first night and was denied by both. Will not be returning.
- 5/5
Room is great. Staff are friendly
- 4/5
I got stuck in the elevator and wasn't able to take the stairs going up because the door was on the outside. Staff didn't offer anything either
- 5/5
Most of the staff were super friendly. The room we stayed in was excellent and there was even a white noise machine because of the traffic. The room was very clean, and the towels in the room were amazing. Will stay here again, the only thing I recommend to change is adding the cost for parking your car in with the room…..And the valet took a chunk of paint off my passenger side door.
- 3/5
One travel note that has been mentioned is the $48/night valet only parking fee. While the service is expensive what I didn’t expect was for PMC to add an unauthorized gratuity to my final bill. Be sure to check your credit card statement so you’re not scammed.
- 4/5
The room was spotless. The staff was exceptional.
- 5/5
Room was spotless and staff was great!
- 4/5
Nice hotel, great location. I would stay there again.
- 5/5
Room was very clean and breakfast was great! Definitely a great stay in the Historic District. Especially enjoyed the hot tub!
- 3/5
Did not know about parking. Breakfast too expensive
- 4/5
The room was clean - check in was seamless. The front lobby was beautiful with great historic touches! We loved that the lobby featured locally curated snacks and details.
- 1/5
Our room smelled of dog urin terribly. They did send house keeping to clean but the chemical smell made the dog smell worse, thank god we had a balcony door, we left it open the entire sttay.
- 5/5
The staff was nice and friendly from the moment I pulled into valet. Elavian assisted me with my bags and gave me ideas on things to do while visiting. Check in was easy. Room was clean. Loved the balcony! I would recommend to others.
- 2/5
When you wash your hands in our bathroom you have water everywhere the speaker is not long enough to match the sink or toilet wobbled shower head mold in it a room was somewhat clean the housekeeping could remove the shampoo conditioner and body wash off the wall and clean behind it that's where some of the mold is the footrest is loose we didn't know that there was no parking so we ended up having $50 for parking and then it says breakfast available I think y'all need to tell everybody on your web page that it's $18 for breakfast for what we paid for the hotel some of the stuff could have been included
- 5/5
Check in was pleasant and efficient. Location is fantastic and hotel has a great layout and clean rooms
- 5/5
Everything was great & the staff was superb 👏 especially the lady at the front desk she was awesome
- 5/5
Room and facility very clean. Great location to River street, Bay Street, city market area and Broughton St.
- 5/5
Fantastic location in the heart of the historic district. The freedom to walk to all of the sights.
- 3/5
Loud. Long check in.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing and the room was everything to be expected. We had a balcony room overlooking Bay St. And River Street areas. Definitely loved that everything is walking distance from the hotel. Great location!
- 4/5
The hotel was very nice and staff were very helpful. Wish breakfast was free.
- 5/5
Clean room/friendly staff.
- 5/5
Very nice property.
- 5/5
Great staff and great breakfast
- 5/5
Excellent
- 4/5
Property had a fantastic clean smell as soon as you walked in! Fantastic location! Only downfall was I requested an accessible room but the only thing accessible was one grab bar in the shower. No biggie though.
- 4/5
Great location and fantastic lobby area. Elevator was really the only issue; only one working during checkout hours plus the button for lobby wouldn’t work(had to give it some extra pushes). Balcony had great views of the city and spacious room. Very comfortable bed.
- 5/5
Second time I have stayed here with my family. Such a beautiful place and the staff is wonderful. Will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
I only stayed one night.....plenty of things to do...We ate at Wexfords a traditional Irish pub....live music and the food was excellent, overall a very nice time.
- 3/5
Would not stay here again.
- 5/5
Clean, nice staff, safe area, walking distance to everything.
- 5/5
Wonderful weekend trip to Savannah. Hotel was awesome and staff very attentive to my needs.
- 4/5
The hotel was clean.
- 5/5
Really nice Hotel, rooms were very clean. The valet people are awesome!!
- 5/5
Had an awesome visit
- 3/5
The elevator was out most of my visit but I’m sure they’ll fix it
- 5/5
The location is in the downtown area close to other shopping destinations.
- 4/5
Very easy to get around the city from this location. Room was clean, but needs a full length mirror installed.
- 4/5
Everything was nice and clean and welcoming. The only negative comment would be the fact that a balcony room costs more seeing that the view is that of a nasty no tell motel that is attached to the liquor store opened the latest in town. It wasnt bad but no reason for a extra fee on a balcony you really dont want to be on.
- 5/5
Shops
- 5/5
close to the market square
- 5/5
Central location and nice staff
- 3/5
The drapes did not close completely, so we couldn’t get complete dark at night. There was a weird noise that kept coming up in the room. We couldn’t quite be sure what it was. There weren’t enough overhead lights the room had lighting, but not enough. It was a very nice size room. The bed is very comfortable. The towels were terrific. It was nice having a pool and a fitness room. The valet parking, which was independent of the hotel was pretty pricey.
- 1/5
When we arrived to the hotel to check in, we were informed that they cancelled our room and charged our card prior to arrival. They claimed they wanted to contact us but didn't have our phone number or email address even though I received a reservation confirmation email a few days prior. When I asked for help on recommending anywhere to stay as I was unfamiliar with the area and they were quick to tell me all Hiltons were booked, they told me I wasn't going to find anything on a holiday weekend and suggested I find something out of the historic district. We ended up staying at the Indigo Hotel which was a good experience considering the last minute change.
- 5/5
Awesome ❤️
- 4/5
I loved that it was right next to the market area and how it was walkable to the riverwalk. I had an excellent time.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 5/5
Nice room, helpful staff, great location!
- 3/5
Check in was very slow as was check out with required valet. Was not aware of $50 a night parking fee. Fire alarms went off at 3 AM.
- 5/5
The hotel qas great. The room was very spacious. The staff seemed bothered when you asked them simple questions. I.e. what time is check out etc. The hotel was very safe and clean.
- 4/5
I enjoyed the venue and have minimal complaints. The upfront staff was very good for the most part. There was one young lady whose name escapes me who worked the weekend and was there at check-in who was so polite, accommodating, and amazing. She was a ball of energy and didn't seem to phased by anything or anyone. The one complaint I have is that my daughter and I were looking forward to breakfast and came down 30 minutes before it was scheduled to end and everything had been put away. I was told that breakfast started an hour earlier than we thought. When I told the receptionist that their print materials said otherwise the response I got was, “Oh it probably hasn't been updated yet” (with an eyeroll from someone who may have been the manager). The onlynogher issue was that the room smelled a bit stale at check-in and could use some deodorizing. Otherwise I had a great experience and would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Great balance between affordability & location! I wanted to be near River Street but had a clear budget. This was a perfect choice. Stellar scores for cleanliness & safety!
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel! Spacious room! Clean!
- 4/5
Very nice hotel with clean spacious room. No parking on site except valet which charges you $48.00 a day. As much as you pay for the room parking should be included. Walking distance to lots of stuff.
- 5/5
Staff was personable. Room wasn't originally what I reserved but they had another that fit my needs. Convenient location to City Market and River Street.
- 5/5
I like the breakfast and the staff
- 5/5
We loved the 6th floor street side. Great views of the river and bridge. But, if traffic keeps you awake, I’d ask for a room in the back of the hotel! While the lobby store is convenient for food or drink, it’s very expensive. Buy your drinks, water, etc, at the nearby CVS.
- 5/5
Hotel was a 12 out of 10! Everything was perfect!
- 5/5
Great location, Valet parking and easy to come and go.
- 5/5
Seemed very frustrated
- 5/5
The only complaint I have is the parking. They onle offer valet which is $48 a day. That's outrageous.
- 4/5
Nice property, but the street noise makes you feel like you’re in NYC. Thankfully we had earplugs. Also, valet parking is the only on premises option and costs $48/night. Otherwise you park on the street or in a public lot, which are almost as expensive. Great location for seeing the historic parts of Savannah.
- 3/5
Bathroom faucet is not properly made, shower faucet kept spinning and was not screwed to the wall properly.
- 4/5
The bottle waters we were told were going to be in the room at check in were not in the room
- 5/5
Location
- 3/5
The hotel was nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar was never open because of staffing issues so that was a little inconvenient when you wanted to stay in . You get used to the downtown old building smell after a few days . Overall it was a good stay
- 2/5
The nearest convenience store is in a sketchy area, multiple homeless/addicts begging in the parking lot, even though it's only about a block and a half away. I had to go there because there were no vending machines, only a self checkout area by the front desk where they charge $5 for a 20oz soda. They advertise room service as an amenity, but no menu is available through their site, access through the QR code in the room. Continental breakfast costs $9/person when it's free at every other Hilton I've stayed in. I always choose Hilton hotels when I travel for business, which is why I didn't think twice about booking this one on my vacation, despite it costing more than other options, I will definitely not be staying here again.
- 5/5
Very good breakfast buffet and reasonably priced. Only offered pork meats, but the chef prepared chicken sausage for me.
- 5/5
Convenient for walking to City Market and River Street.
- 5/5
Wonderful location to explore the historic district. Our room overlooked the pool deck and it was not noisy at all. We will stay there again next time we need to be in the historic district.
- 4/5
Location and complimentary water bottles.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing
- 5/5
That is all
- 5/5
The hotel stay was amazing!
- 5/5
I absolutely lived this area. I loved the slave tour. Very knowledgeable. The only thing i would change is markers. There. Eeds to be markers
- 3/5
Couple of things downtown has limited parking so you have to valet at the hotel and its $50 a night. Breakfast is almost $20. The location is great, its by everything. The valet staff is amazing!!!
- 5/5
Hilton Garden Inn-Historic area- was in the perfect location to use as a starting point for sightseeing each day. The room with a balcony was very nice, clean and comfortable. We had plenty of room as well as a microwave! The lobby smelled absolutely wonderful! Although we didn't ever eat breakfast there, it was available. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again!
- 3/5
Very nice. Hot tub did not work. Pool area could use some updating. Overall great stay
- 2/5
Very disappointed that there was NO restaurant or Bar as the description indicated. It was one of the Maine 3 reasons this hotel was selected!! There was a pay buffet-type breakfast and the “Bar” was unavailable due to staff shortages. I will be contacting the property and the main Hilton executive office to request a partial refund on our stay. And the request for early check-in was an additional $25… I have never been charged for early checking if available anywhere else!
- 3/5
I ordered a suite 1 and in the pictures it had three windows, two in the bedroom and one in the couch area, but when we went to our room, we had one little window in the bedroom very disappointing! I paid that kind of money for 3 windows.. very dark
- 1/5
There are a lot of hidden fees they don’t tell you about . Like parking and breakfast is separate for your hotel room.
- 4/5
Only one elevator worked (4 days). Pool/ jacuzzi needs maintenance (repairs & cleaning). Breakfast was good, but no food options for lunch/ dinner. Bar doesn’t open until evening. At night it’s very loud outside lasting after midnight.
- 3/5
This listing stated parking was available. However, it did not indicate that it was forced valet parking with a $48 fee. If you choose not to use the service you are forced into pay per hour public parking on the street. The public parking is cheaper but not guaranteed to be close or safe for your vehicle. This was misleading to say the least
- 5/5
Loved the fact that it was central to everything.
- 3/5
Breakfast was awesome though, and entertainment was very walkable.
- 1/5
The property only has two elevators that are shared by all of the maintenance stuff as well as the guest. One of the elevators was broken. Also, one morning there was no water pressure. Apparently they were conducting maintenance on the pool stop
- 4/5
The parking was terrible, tight and confusing
- 4/5
Elevator was down almost my entire trip. Disappointing.
- 3/5
The hotel itself left a little bit to be desired. The room was ok. The sofa bed was not comfortable at all though and shouldn't really be offered as a reasonable solution for multiple nights of sleeping. The cleanliness and housekeeping staff was great but you could tell the hotel itself needs a little love. Same for the pool. The staff was seen attending to.towels and trash. But the pool itself, the hardscape and the hot tub are in desperate need of attention. Overall, great staff, super convenient location and nic little amenities like the bar in the lobby. Downside, you could see that they're understaffed and need to pay a little more attention to detail and maintenance.
- 5/5
Great location with a super sweet staff
- 4/5
The lady that refreshed the coffee in the lobby was incredibly pleasant and hard working. It appeared she had a passion for her work. Front desk was nice as well. One elevator being non-operational was a drawback but understandable. TV and wifi worked well.
- 5/5
Clean and well appointed suite. 2 televisions allowed for mom & dad to relax in the bedroom space while teen lounged on sofa bed with tv. Updated fixtures and comfortable bedding with spacious room to house two adults and a teen. Definitely on our choice list for future stays in Savannah. Walkable for Historic Downtown destinations and on-site valet option.
- 4/5
The staff were attentive, especially the breakfast group However, the property has some limitations 1. The carpets in the hallway were worn out 2. One elevator was under repair throughout our stay 3. Room cleaning and towel supply is once in two days, which is inconvenient because they provided only 3 towels for two people.
- 5/5
Amazing location. Enjoyed our trip to Savannah so much. So much fun.
- 5/5
Myvstayvwas amazing. I love the hotel. Friendly staff, cleanliness of thr hotel and rooms. I will definitely stay there again.
- 5/5
Uncomfortable furniture
- 4/5
Staff was excellent. Valet attendants were excellent, however 48.00 a day for parking is excessive. There was great meeting space in the lobby for our family to gather/socialize. The concierge (Lorenzo) was awesome! The only hotel that I’ve stayed in recently where breakfast was not included. The only real problem was that only 1 elevator was working the whole time, and that one wasn’t always working correctly. I would definitely stay there again due to its location.
- 5/5
Great place overall for the price and area. Breakfast and parking were not free though
- 3/5
For the 5 nights we stayed, 1 of the 2 elevators did not work. The staff, and I presume management, knew of this deficient condition and there was no obvious sense of urgency to get it working. This is unsatisfactory.
- 5/5
Nice property close to city market area
- 4/5
I so want to rate the hotel higher due to the location and overall quality. However, there are only two elevators and one stayed broken the entire time I was there (3 nights). Therefore, the wait for the one working elevator was long. I tried using the stairs but they led me to a street level alley that was enclosed and said “Staff Only”. My room was on the second floor right next to the gym and on the pool. I could hear people working out (I.e. running on treadmill and dropping barbells) all hours of day and night. Also, the music being played at the pool was loud. Thankfully, there were no loud parties at the pool during my stay. I would have asked for another room but I was too tired when I check in and then worked during the days and didn’t want the hassle of changing rooms. Hilton can and should do better!
- 5/5
Jameria was great she made sure we had everything my wife and I needed
- 4/5
Enjoyed our stay but I think the parking at the hotel is absolutely day light robbery. $55 plus tax for the night
- 4/5
I love this hotel! I only have two complaints. We had our “do not disturb” sign on the door and the cleaning staff still knocked and came in. The other thing is that we were waiting in the lobby for our room to get ready (which was fine because we requested a specific room and the staff was very accommodating). We had our bags on the luggage cart and an employee approached us and when we told him we were on and didn’t need his help he proceeded to confirm that our room was ready. I told him we didn’t want to any help and he said that it is his job and that he has to do it. He said that was the only reason he was working that day. I had tipped the valet so I didn’t have any cash so I already felt awkward. When he ran into my Husband on the way out of our room he commented that I didn’t take care of him. I DID NOT WANT HIS HELP. I think that was very unprofessional. Over all I love this hotel and have stayed here for the past 3 years. I have never had this happen before. I will definitely be back.
- 5/5
It was a nice place.
- 5/5
The property is close to River street and shopping areas. Very touristy
- 1/5
Won't be using Hilton soon!
- 4/5
Security Key For Elevators, Lobby Doors & Lobby Restrooms..Breakfast was good but not worth $16 for the price of a room here.
- 3/5
Great location and clean. Staff was not particularly welcoming but the property is very nice.
- 5/5
Very nice and clean .
- 5/5
The location was great and we walked everywhere we went. I would definitely stay here again!
- 3/5
Good location but on a noisy corner, no restaurant or bar.
- 3/5
Great location. The staff at the reception should be at their desk more consistently.
- 5/5
The bed and pillows were so comfortable.
- 5/5
We loved this hotel!
- 5/5
I don't know what's in the beds and pillows but the last 2 days have been the best sleep I've had in months. Only negative is if your room is facing Bay st. you will hear all the activities and the pedestrian signals sounds. After a while it becomes white noise. Perfect location. Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Close to Market Street
- 2/5
The checkin process was rough and so long. The valet parking was sketch and i did not feel confident leaving my vehicle in the care of the valet thus i was forced to choose public adjacent lot parking but beware the public pay lot adjacent to the hotel is a rip off with only hourly options available for parking. Not only are there hourly rates theres a 13% FEE on top of the hourly rate. So overnight parking was well over $100.
- 4/5
We liked the location of the property. All the choices of restaurants. We did miss that the hotel bar was not open.
- 5/5
Great hotel. Felt very secure. Clean and comfortable.
- 3/5
Toilet kept running, sink water would not drain, air conditioner was very loud. Valet service kept moving our car after we paid for it to be parked up front
- 4/5
We enjoyed walking around!
- 5/5
Great for a stay just a block or so from the river. Easy walk to everything in the Historic District.
- 4/5
The gunfire and police activity on Saturday night was a little unnerving. The location in the Historic District is great. The City needs to clean up and maintain the "Squares" and public grassy areas to entice us to return. We took a sunset cruise, sightseeing trolly type guided tour, we went to museums and we enjoyed some great outdoor dinning and music in the City Market area.
- 5/5
Need to have better housekeeping
