    Location off I-95 was easily accessible with several choices of places to eat without having to travel. Having recently been remodeled the facility was extremely clean. The staff was extremely knowledgeable about the area and recommended several places for us to attend. They were spot on with their recommendations and best places to park for the handicapped accessibility we needed. The beds were very comfortable. The facility advertised with a pool, but upon arriving due to recent renovations the pool had been demolished. A nice patio setting was placed where the pool was, but we had booked our reservations on knowledge of a swimming pool and would have chosen another facility if we knew that before we registered. When traveling on vacation with kids they need something to wear off the built up energy. The guest bathrooms water faucets see to close to the back of the sink causing for the water to puddle up on the sink under the faucet. This also caused the water to flow around the sink. There was no one on staff at night for necessary maintenance such as a toilet that wouldn’t flush.

    Had a rough start to begin with the hotel clerk gave us key cards to a room that had not been cleaned. We walked in bed was unmade, bathroom dirty! scared us to death…thought we’d walked in on another person! went back downstairs and the manager gave us another room.

    The room was excellent. The staff was good. The bar was terrible because there was no bar. We were very disappointed that the restaurant was not operating. One of the main reason I made a reservation at this Holiday Inn is that it listed it had a restaurant on site. If I had seen the there was no restaurant on site I would have never made a reservation at the site. I am very disappointed.

    This is a new Holiday Inn, the grounds are still being set up. The color scheme is something out of the 70’s with so many patterns on the tile and the carpet and the walls….although our room was a new room, the bathroom floor had hair in it on arrival. No breakfast because the kitchen area had not been set up. Not worth the 175 price tag … and there was active construction going on on the first floor which was noisy. Glad we only stayed one day: disappointed for sure.

Once we arrived, it was obvious the hotel was not ready to open. It had gone through a renovation. No continental breakfast, no bar, no restaurant. No trash cans on the premises. No soap in public bathrooms. Reservations was for 3 people, including a sofa bed. Had to retrieve linen and make that bed myself. Needed to ask for towels, toilet paper. Elevators were not working one day and we were on the third floor. There were no phones in the room and if you had an issue, you had to walk down to the front desk. The smoke detector was wrapped in shrink wrap and when I mentioned it was a Fire Marshall violation, nothing was done. Overall the hotel tried to open early for a holiday weekend and overcharged its customers with the full rate when none of the amenities were available.

    We hav stayed here before and enjoyed the pool and hot tub. This year they were in the midst of renovations(not noted on their website), and the pool and hot tub were gone. You couldn’t even get a coffee in the lobby and the rooms had no phones nor clocks. The front desk staff were clueless and we will not be going back here !

    There is no breakfast with the stay. a restaurant is available. I didnt use it. Lamp was rusty. No clock. Window remote didn't work because blind was broken and torn. Front desk came up to roll it by hand and push into the track. Really? In general the room is worn and tired looking. Clean but REALLY needs makeover.

    It was close to I-95 Trash on the floor. Ceiling in shower falling down. Flusher on toilet broke and after I looked at it, it seemed to not have been fixed properly from the last time it broke. Trash cans at front entrance over flowing.

    The hotel was under renovation. Construction dust everywhere. Room was very old. Furniture was visibly worn. Only 1 regular coffee pod. 2 decaf. I don't drink decaf. I will not book through Hotels.com again. A $50 hold was put on my credit card because I did not book directly through IHG. This should have been disclosed. Construction noise stared at 7:30 am. Stopped at 8 pm. I would not have stayed there if I had known about the construction. A rip off.

    We have been comingto this hotel every year for five years and we always enjoyed our stay.... until now. I understand they are doing renovations but that is no excuse to have the establishment in complete chaos and filth. The rooms were disgusting the smell was horrible and everyone who worked there was miserable. After a 13 hour drive i had to clean the room in order to be comfortable to sleep there along with changing the sheets and vacuum. Our tradition of stopping and staying here will no longer be happening.

    Newly renovated, but with saying that I don't think they thouggt about renovation for the bathtub. They put in new vanity with sink and new mirror but tub was old and just recouking around the edges. We needed to move rooms because of non working TV.     The only thing I can say that was a little upsetting was the shower in my room. It was very clean and nice, but the shower floor was very slippery. I almost slipped twice and I had no choice but to put a towel on the shower floor. Someone could definitely get hurt.

    After a long day of travel we checked in got settled in and went to dinner to return to the room and turn in tv to discover there are 12 white dots illuminating from the screen making it difficult to watch. Then discovered the carpet all around the ac was soaking wet. Upon speaking to staff all the could suggest is move all are stuff to a different room on a different floor which was not a real option for us and our situation. Not happy with this property or Holiday Inn as a whole if the can’t take care of guest better

    It was a nice room, and very spacious. Also well cleaned. Well, where should I begin. First, the website stated that it was a king suite, with a hot tub. No hot tub. Second, the website stated that there was a swimming pool. No swimming pool. Next, I dont think I have ever been to a hotel that didn't offer a free breakfast. No continental breakfast. There's absolutely no way that room should have been $300 for the two nights. I will be contacting you, the hotel, and anyone else, if need be, about how this situation played out. False advertisement, to the fullest.

    We’ve stayed at this hotel previously and this will probably be the last time. The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. The air conditioner was very loud, making it difficult to sleep. The bathroom was in poor condition and needs updating, and our towels were damp when we arrived to our room.

    I had read reviews from earlier this year about how noisy this property was but it not to be the case. My room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was not the normal buffet offered. There was a small bar and grill in the lobby which served breakfast and light meals and with a voucher you could get a breakfast. Prefer the normal offerings. But still a good stay while on the road.

    The room we had on floor 2 was very hot and humid. It was so damp in there that the floor was damp. We turned the AC on at the lowest setting and just couldn’t get the air cool enough or the dampness out of the room. We didn’t mention it at the time because we checked in late evening and left the next morning. I believe it was room 210 and it’s probably just that the unit needs servicing.

    We love staying here when driving to and from NC. My only piece of feedback for the King Suite we stayed in, is add a second TV to the main room, in addition to the bedroom. My husband had to work part of the evening and was frustrated there wasn’t a second TV. We will, however, definitely book a King Suite again.

    Hotel was ok for our needs as we were only passing through the area. We appreciated the pet friendly environment. Convenience of a restaurant on site was great and there are many options to dine around. Seems like the hotel is under renovation, it does need a lot of TLC. Bathroom was dusty (were they keep the tissue box and the vent was way to stuffed up with accumulated dust).

    On the second day, we returned to find that the air conditioning had completely stopped working. Shortly after, it began to rain and water started pouring from the vent fan in the ceiling. We were promptly moved to another room, but the floor around the air conditioning unit in the new room was soaked. At that point, we were exhausted and chose to stay since the air in the new room was at least cool. At checkout, we explained the situation to the front desk.     The hotel was more like a motel. The room was barely clean. The walls so thin you could hear the rooms next to you. I arrived late, exhausted from the drive otherwise I would have left! The room did not have curtains instead had a broken blind that did not keep any light out at all. There was a light outside that kept my room lit because of the blind. The pool was filled in with concrete. Not that I was there to swim but worth noting for others. I would not recommend and will never stay there again. Beyond disappointed with Holiday Inn IHG.

    Great stay. Quick checkin. Clean room. Hotel is under construction so you can see repairs to the outside but not too bad in appearance. There is no continental breakfast. There is a restaurant in the hotel where you pay for your food. There is an IHOP across the street and Cracker Barrel within close proximity and Waffle House not too far.

    They are renovating and making upgrades to the property, which is nice. Unfortunately, our room was so humid and moldy smelling that we didn’t end up staying the whole night. Our entire ceiling was covered in what looked like black mold.

    We found at the time of check in that this holiday Inn was undergoing renovations. All windows were covered with plastics, with no outside view; we felt as if we were in prison. We made complaints to manager about that and the fact that had we known beforehand about renovations, we would never had booked this hotel. Manager cancelled our reservation. We suffered delays, inconvenience, frustration and dismay by the desk person and manager of Holiday Inn at Savannah, GA. A call was made to IHG and they made alternative reservation at other hotel.

    I thought that if I made a reservation for 3 people the sofa bed would be ready to use with sheets and everything else but it wasn't. I'd have to ask for it, go to the front desk and get and then go back to the room to assemble the sofa bed. Looks like there is no room service at all.

    They were under construction so the whole front was in plastic. It made it difficult to not trip on and if we were handicap, we wouldn’t have been able to get in the front entrance. The pool was also out of service and the AC in the room wasn’t working properly.

    There was construction outside the hotel, right outside our window, and the front entry to the lobby was partially blocked, so cars could not pull up for loading/unloading. The hotel interiors are in need of a refresh. Also seems like they need more staff. When we checked out in the morning, there was nobody working at reception. So we just left without telling anyone we checked out.

    I stayed with my wife and daughter. Overall the stay was so-so. The hallway, elevators and rooms needed a little better cleaning. My initial room was missing curtains and so they moved me to another room. A light bulb was burnt, but the staff was pleasant and they gave one to me right away. The price was good compared to other hotels close to Savannah.

    Hotel needs to work on upgrading rooms, bathroom shower head was leaking causing water damage to bathroom door. Door was warped. Shower curtain was cheap and water flooded the floor. Toilet bowl handle was broken. Staff did offer another room but that was next to barking dogs !! No thanks . I would recommend staying at another place in the area for the price.

    When I checked in and went to the first room the bed was turned down and used towels in the bathroom as if someone had already been in the room. They gave me a second room where the shades wouldn't go down that overlooked the parking lot. The third room a staff member walked me up and there was someone sleeping in the bed. She asked me to wait because she had a line. I waited a few minutes and got back in the line because it was growing. Checked into the 4th room and it was fine. This took over an hour between the time I got there to the time I was able to get a room. They only gave me a $50 discount for the inconvenience.
