Front desk at check in and restaurant staff were not very helpful or attentive. First room had no bedcovers on beds, no safe, no extending mirror by vanity, loose knobs on wardrobe and a non working refrigerator. Moved rooms and safe was still not working. Overall the rooms need a deep cleaning while common areas seemed in better shape. Coffee and wine/happy hour in lobby were a nice touch with a cheerful employee. They did accommodate a 1 hour extended checkout with no problem.

The rooms were great and it was a great location- walking distance to the historic areas. The staff at the front desk was very helpful. The courtyard outside was the perfect area to sit and have a drink after walking around all day. Our only issue was the wait time in the restaurant. i would still go back and recommend the hotel.

Mostly, I liked this hotel. It's pretty well appointed with things like nice towels, but I used up the provided shower gel the first morning, and despite leaving the empty bottle in plain sight, it was never refilled during my four-day stay. The helpfulness/friendliness of the front desk staff was hit or miss, although everyone on the valet parking staff was exceptional. The restaurant has largely negative reviews online so I didn't eat dinner there, which would have been convenient, but breakfast was okay. Housekeeping was fine but didn't do an exceptional job--kept moving the wastebasket I had placed in a more convenient location, didn't clean residue from dinner off the glass-topped desk where I ate, didn't fully replace supplies like toilet paper--things like that. However, it's a great location and was quiet despite being dog friendly and on a busy street. Would stay there again, but only at the right price.

I wish there were more stars because they would get it. I love a good boutique hotel! The service was phenomenal. The staff knows the area well and was able to direct me to some good food places. The outside courtyard is relaxing, I was able to eat out there and even jump on a few emails from my laptop. The room was very clean and the hotel as a whole smells amazing!!!

We did not end up staying at the hotel so three is really nothing I can comment on here. I suppose all I can really say is the location is good. TLDR: This was one of the worst experiences I have had at a hotel. AVOID We didn't arrive at the hotel until around 10:30 PM, after a long day of travel. We checked in and went to our room only to find that the key card/lock did not work. I went back down to the lobby twice to have new cards issued, it still did not work. The front desk attendant said she had called maintenance and directed us to go wait outside the room (she never offered to come try the lock herself). After waiting another 15 minutes, I went back down to the front desk only for her to say she had no idea when maintenance would be able to come look. We asked if there were any other rooms available. This is when another front desk attendant (maybe manager?) took over. While she was looking, the original employee helping us started scrolling instagram in plain view. We were informed there were no other room available (even though there were options showing on the website) and opted to just cancel. Thankfully we were able to book a room quickly at the AC Hotel nearby and had a great experience there.

We had such a wonderful experience at the Kimpton Brice Savannah with our Bernese Mountain dog. The hotel is dog friendly and it made our experience even better. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The food at the restaurant was delicious and very friendly to people with dietary restrictions. The location is great - we walked everywhere and our dog enjoyed the surrounding parks. We Will definitely stay here again.

The hotel has a wonderful atmosphere. The rooms are cozy and spotless. The staff is very friendly, polite, and eager to make sure guests have a pleasant stay. When we requested a shower stool for my mom, the maintenance worker who delivered it was very kind to her and made sure she was okay. The housekeeping staff was also excellent.

Check-in at 9:40pm set the tone perfectly. The front desk staff appeared to be operating in a state somewhere between exhaustion and confusion, mumbling instructions that were largely unintelligible. After a long day of travel, deciphering cryptic hotel riddles was not really on our agenda. The room itself was remarkably basic for the price. The shower and toilet were separated, while a tiny sink appeared to have been assigned responsibility for every other washing-related activity. The overall condition of the hotel felt tired and poorly maintained. Breakfast service was perhaps the most fascinating aspect of the stay. The staff worked with the frantic energy of people trying to compensate for a management team that had disappeared years ago. The same person made coffees, took orders, fetched food from the kitchen, processed bills, and seemingly kept t

Unfortunately, the valet service provided by PMC was a significant disappointment. As a former manager for PMC, I am very familiar with the company’s policies, training standards, and service expectations. When we arrived, the valet attendant simply stood at the podium and shouted, “Are you checking in?” There was no greeting, no door assistance, no welcoming attitude, and no effort to provide the level of service PMC typically expects from its employees. For a service costing over $50 per night, I would expect at least the basics: opening doors, greeting guests, and providing a friendly, professional first impression. Instead, it felt like we were doing everything ourselves. The hotel staff exceeded expectations, but the valet experience was far below both PMC’s standards and what guests should reasonably expect for the price.

The hotel is a nice hotel. The staff were friendly. My only issue is that I reserved a king room and after checking in I was given a double room. I went back to ask why I wasn’t given my king room and was told that all the air conditioners in the king rooms were being fixed. Which is something that should have been told to me at check in. My husband is a tall and big man and a full bed just doesn’t work but we had no choice but to deal with it as it was a holiday weekend. Then as we were checking out I noticed that house keeping were cleaning rooms that other guest were checking out of and they were king rooms so that really made me mad. I said something when checking out and was given just an apology.

Nice hotel if you have furry friends you need to bring with you. I was a little disapointed about the rooms not having microwaves or coffee makers. The hotel is in a great location near a park and central to the historic downtown distric. However the staff were uninterested in being polite or welcoming during our stay. We were greeted by the valet who demanded our car keys and angerly thrusted out his hand to grab them. The street parking was open so we opted not valet our car and he became very irate. The next morning we went to the coffee bar and not only were they out of coffee but cups and creamer. I asked the front desk about the coffee and she just shrugged and said oh well! This is not the experience we usually get from a Kimpton hote. The hotel is in a great location near a park and central to the historic downtown distric. The only downside of the room was that the shower/toilet were right next to the bed - like I could've rolled out of bed and landed in the bathroom. It was ok because it was just my sister and I but there wasn't any privacy - you could hear all the bathroom noises.

This hotel has a nice vibe but is lacking: Coffee at 6 AM was appreciated. Maintenance appears to be fair at best. Tired appearance as many post Covid hotels are now showing despite higher rates . TV-Many local network TV stations not operative. Subscriptions expired? Solid surface Flooring common areas are dirty or in need refurbishment. Any carpeting needs replacement: elevators, high traffic areas ect. Although charging top dollar auto valet unimpressive. EXTREME motor/equipment noise on premises ran at idle all night, no sleep. Very noisy on street corner. Our room was not on waterfront despite the Internet description. Hotel is across the street with very limited river views. Central Phone system inoperative. Overall not a great value for what they charged. A disappointment. See above.

The location was pretty good Where to start. The floors were dirty. I was taken to a suite with no working lights (you pressed the light switch and it caved into the wall!) and a fridge that was so loud we had to unplug it. But the worst was what followed. The hotel had not told me that it was entirely taken over by spring breakers. I was left in a room that was literally shuddering with the sounds of parties and music. There was a fist fight in the corridor (witnessed by housekeeping who was as shocked as me) but when I went down to reception they seemed non plussed. I pleaded with them to do something as the hotel was unable to provide me with a ‘habitable’ room for the night but the woman on reception was all alone and just knocked on their room once to which they ignored her. In the end I had to check out at 10pm and find other accommodation . The receptionist did not apologise (only the lovey trainee member of staff). And I’m still trying to get a refund. The worst hotel I have ever get stayed in by a long way. Avoid. Unless you want a scrappy party hotel for kids.

They lost our reservation and even after showing the reservation number they were not helpful. We arrived late at night with our baby and they couldn’t find the reservation and said they were completely booked so couldn’t help and that it was booking.coms fault. Booking.com confirmed the reservation and that jt was the Kimpton mistake. After being on hold with booking.com in the lobby for over 30 mins with a tired and crying baby we finally found a new hotel down the street and left. About an hour later we received an email saying the Kimpton had found our reservation but at that point it was too late. I’m sure the hotel is nice but we will never book there again. I’m extremely disappointed with the entire experience and the service we received from both customer support and hotel.

We liked the hotel and the room but it seems that whenever we book through Expedia we get put in the worst part of the hotel. And this time our room was in the very corner by a busy intersection and we could hear trucks and cars all night. It happens every time and almost makes me want to stop booking through Expedia.

The property was actually filthy. I'm talking floors, hallways, pretty much everything. Our room was decently cleaned but outside the room was honestly horrible. I've never left such a poor review before. It smelled, there was trash in the hallways, on the floors and leftover drinks and wrappers left around the common areas just not picked up. The front desk was also cluttered with food and trash. The windows were filthy. The staff was unresponsive and so dang slow- the woman working the front desk was very friendly and kind but beyond that, it was frustrating. Our air conditioner in our room was not working- called maintenance for over 10 minutes before someone picked up and asked for someone to come take a look at it and no one ever showed up. Waited for 15 minutes for someone to show up at the bar to take my order and then waited 10 more minutes to be told they were out of the wine I wanted to order. I Would not stay here again and can not recommend this property. We were disappointed and honestly surprised at the condition of it. Forgot to mention- there was a pool party all afternoon on a Saturday- the music was so loud you couldn't talk- the majority, if not all, of the people there were people coming in just for the pool party. Hotel guests left complaining because it wasn't at all what was advertised- it was a loud party scene for a younger crowd- at $600 a night for a room- it was totally unacceptable. If you wanted to sit and relax poolside, you couldn't.

Room couldn’t have been cleaner or nicer. The smell diffused thoughout the hotel was AMAZING. Service was great. The only downside is if your room faces Bay Street & you’re a light sleeper, you won’t sleep. Big trucks & cars rumbling past all night long. Linens were very nice but pillows were too flat. Otherwise an A+ facility. Would stay again.

The Kimpton Brice is located in a beautiful neighborhood near some of Savannah’s exquisite squares. The included Happy hour was delightful and just what was needed after a long drive from Florida. But the reason we stay at this hotel is it’s incredible support and welcome to dogs and their owners. From dog biscuits at the entrance to no added charge for dogs to the delicious restaurant having dedicated tables for dog owners and their pups….this is the best and most welcoming hotel we have ever stayed at with our dog. We love the Kimpton Brice and plan to return in the near future.

However, several things happened which were extremely upsetting and affected our stay. First the valet was incredibly rude. It seemed he was busy so we stood by quietly at the podium waiting for him to acknowledge us so we could drop our keys and check in. He did not, and took four parked cars to the lot before rudely saying “yeah”, taking our keys and being shockingly rude. In the meantime another guest came down and he gave him his keys to go get his own car out of the garage. We were really upset but tried to ignore it but found ourselves talking about it and worrying about our vehicle even a couple Hours later. Secondly there was no hot water. I read other reviews and saw that others had experienced the issue and were told to “run the water for 20 min” which we did… and it worked. This morning we went for breakfast in the morning and immediately ordered two lattes and two dishes. 40 min later we had not received food, coffee or even water. No one even came near our table to ask for help. Other groups who came in 20 minutes after us were served coffee. We were upset and left without breakfast. All in all, hotel was very cool. Dog friendly, seemed fun. But these three events definitely soured our experience … especially for a room that was not cheap. Sadly would not stay again.

It was our first time in Savannah, and I didn’t realize just how close everything would be to the hotel—it was perfect. The only downside is parking. Valet parking is available in a garage across the street for $56 per night, or you can try to find street parking. We visited in January and were able to park right in front of the hotel for about $15 total for three days, but I imagine this would be difficult during peak season. We also grabbed food from the restaurant downstairs. It was good—nothing amazing, but convenient. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

This is a lovely hotel with lots of guest perks like morning coffee bar and evening wine and cheese during the week of New Years. The courtyard is nice. Hotel is pet friendly. We stayed 3 nights. Would have liked a microwave in the room or even accessible somewhere in the hotel but there was none. The first night we were not able to get sheets for the pull out bed and were told there were none left. Sheets came the next day but no blanket. Fortunately we travel with blankets. The walk is a bit far to the river front activities, we walked some and got an uber one night. Overall the stay was good and the staff was nice but we booked here for the large room to accommodate our family of 5 and the sheet issue was inconvenient. There was an offer for IHG points for this but they have not come.

Wrote in my notes and I called prior and asked if they had dog bowls because they pride themselves on being very accommodating and friendly to dogs, so they said they’d have dog bowls for me, which allowed me to leave my truck bed packed. I got there and There was one person working the front desk, she was very unorganized and I had to keep asking her things that she should’ve told me. When I asked about the dog bowls she went to “look if they have any,” then she came back with just one used, dirty dog bowl. I booked an essential room with one queen bed and when I got in it, there were two twin beds and even though it’s not a big deal, there was just one robe but it’s the fact that it was a two bed room. The food is expensive for what it is. I could’ve got a $8 pizza at 7-11 and it would’ve been 10x better than what they gave me for closer to $20. The valet sends you a message to tip the valet driver when getting your car, which I did. When I got my car, the valet driver told me not to tip on the text link, that the hotel sends you because they don’t know where the tips go. The valet driver was very kind and helpful, best part of the hotel. This hotel is 100% not worth its price or star ratings, it’s a 3 star hotel at best, look elsewhere.

I didn’t realize the significance of this being a pet friendly hotel. If you have an allergy to dogs, this is NOT the place for you. It is a lovely hotel, the rooms are comfortable and well decorated. But my allergies were terrible from the moment we arrived. They do not have any HEPA filters available for use. I had maintenance come and change the air filter on the AC and it was filthy! It was the Christmas holidays and there were many dogs on the property. We ended up checking out after the 2nd night of our 4 night stay. Allergies aside, I would otherwise recommend this property.

I absolutely love the Kimpton hotel! Main reason being that they cater to pets and I loved seeing other people and their pets as well. The black lady at the front desk that checked us in was so nice. I think her name was arianna. She provided me a list of dog friendly businesses in the area that benefited us greatly. Dog biscuits and potty bags were provided in the lobby. They also gave coffee/ hot chocolate in the morning and wine at night for us humans. The courtyard was a cute area to chill with my pups. The area is in a perfect location right along the river and there's a square next door for a nice morning walk with my pups. Hotel and room was clean and smelled fresh. I can't wait to go back!

I really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, but there are a few minor issues that would make this a great hotel. First and foremost, the staff is outstanding, but you cannot get any food until 4 o’clock. Our room was spacious and quiet as was the courtyard. The problem arises when you go to the pool area being on Bay Street. It was quite loud with traffic noise. While we were sitting at the pool, I would’ve liked to been able to order some food and drink. This was not an option for this hotel. Again, I would stay at this hotel because the staff was outstanding and the room was well kept and quiet, but not for the pool area and lack of food service this would’ve been a five star hotel.

The Maybe because of its location, or how full our stay was, it was loud the entire time. Construction, traffic, guests, there was hardly a quiet moment. I would not stay here again.

The Kimpton Brice was in a great location at the end of Bay Street, close enough to walk to the madness, but far enough away for peace. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. My 2 Queen room was enormous. I didn't use the pool but it was full every day. I would avoid the rooms that sound the courtyard though. They seem like they would get a lot of foot traffic. There was also a free wine and hors d'oeuvre reception in the lobby every day at 5 pm

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was incredible! The staff was super friendly (shoutout to MarKeisha!!). The pool was clean and perfect after a day of walking around town. The gym had really new equipment that my daughter really enjoyed. The room was peaceful with a modern look. Beds were very comfortable. Will definitely be back!!

Beautiful hotel and location is perfect to all things Savannah! Staff was super nice and accommodating. I wish the hotel restaurant had longer hours or at least kept the hours that were posted online. It was closed more than it was open during our stay.

Older hotel but spacious rooms with good air conditioning. The hotel is valet only and surprisingly $49 per night! We wish we would have known that before booking. Overall the location is good. The bar/restaurant closed early one night unexpectedly and another night it had no music so the ambiance was lacking. The staff was pretty friendly and accommodating. Bathrooms have limited space. Fitness center was cardio only.

This hotel was great for a relaxing weekend with friends by the pool! I don't think the staff could have been any nicer. The daily happy hour was a great addition. The hotel was walkable to many things. Though the hotel was a little tired, you can tell they are always working to improve it. We would definitely go back!

We couldn’t have asked for a better “destination” spot on our road trip from New Hampshire! Our dog was spoiled rotten by the staff, we had the BEST dinners at Pacci, and wine hour each night was the icing on the cake! Only downfall was that dogs were not allowed in the pool area. The balcony in our room was the nicest touch and it was so great to have the door open and relax.

The room wasn't cleaned up the next day and the room is very damped. Secondly, I didn't understand how they implement the destination fee in addition to this booking. This is very confusing as a guest and was not happy with that outcome. I felt this was another way to increase the room rate packaged as a customer gift when I got there. I plan to get back to Savannah this year and early next year but I'm not fond of staying at this hotel again. I'll find another alternative. It might be enjoyable for others, but unfortunately, not for me or for us.

This is a nice hotel a few streets off river street. Very nice staff. We got checked in and went to our room and noticed a broken piece in the floor and it was no problem to get another room! I asked about getting a bigger bathroom and it was no problem at all! Comfy beds and really nice staff. During the happy hour the staff seems like they really like to get to know people too.

This hotel was a cute boutique hotel to stay at. I liked it because it didn’t feel like a chain hotel does. They have a wine happy hour and cute dogs walking around with their humans and the restaurant food was really yummy for breakfast. The hotel was in a good location to walk to River Street and site see.

This was our second trip to Savannah and our second stay at the Kimpton Brice. It is a very welcoming hotel. Clean, comfortable, pleasant accommodations and lovely staff. The happy hour is a lovely respite after travel or sightseeing. My only point of contention overall is the incomplete (if not inaccurate) inclusion of dinner for two at booking; it turns out to be only a $50 credit which essentially just covers one entree and a beverage. While not a deal breaker, more transparency would be appreciated.

The hotel is comfortable, clean, and the happy hour at 5-6 pm daily is a great way to interact with other guests and enjoy good wine and appetizers. Pacci is a nice restaurant for dinner and breakfast. One negative is allowing a “gender reveal” party to take over the entire courtyard (Secret Garden) on a Saturday afternoon. There was a DJ situated right below our bedroom window and loud music could be heard throughout the hotel! We were tired and could not rest in our room all afternoon. I’m sure many other guests were inconvenienced and could not enjoy a peaceful visit to this hotel. This should never have been allowed and event revenue was prioritized over many of the overnight guests! We honestly had headaches the entire rest of the night.

Basically, from up close this hotel is just a little bit dirty (lots of smudges, marks on doors, baseboards, drink stains on the table etc). It seems to me that quality control isn't very good there. On the plus side, the room was quiet, the shower was nice (newer and no shower curtain) and the bed was comfortable (although the blanket was thin and there was no fitted sheet). I'd take a regular Hilton or Hampton Inn, or some place like that over this Kimpton Brice. Nothing horrible but for the price I'd go somewehere else.
