Hotel was quiet, and clean, staff was cordial and helpful. The breakfast was deceit every morning. Everything inside the hotel room was old, carpet, cabinets, sofa bed, furniture except for the dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave. The hotel really needs to update the rooms. However I will be staying here again during my travels.

The staff was probably the best I’ve ever encountered in all my travels…very warm and welcoming…really nice to deal with.

The staff was welcoming. The hotel was nice even had a basketball hoop for the boys to play on. We were glad that we chose this hotel!

Also the shower floor was very slippery, I fell once. Other than that the hotel was amazing

The room was okay, but the toilet leaked and there was water surrounding toilet and in front of shower. They fixed it soon after I reported it, though.

Breakfast was great! Pool was cold, but they turned up the heaters, which we really appreciated. Having the kitchen in the room was wonderful and so convenient. Beds were very comfortable and things are a bit rundown in the rooms, but overall a good stay.

The breakfast was great. The room was really nice and spacious.

The laundry room is always a necessity for me when I travel. Front desk staff should have more change available for us since they don't have the CSC app availability.

All of the staff was friendly except for one of the ladies that was there this morning 3/22 kind of rude everyone else was very nice

We had a bed in the 2nd part of the room with a bathroom in the same area. the couch was a pull out bed that was extremely uncomfortable and the blankets provided were extremely thin. This did not provide a good nights sleep.

My reservation was relocated to another hotel “due to circumstances beyond their control.” We were moved to Spinghill Suites, a lower price point and even lower quality of facilities. My original rate was “honored” but my rate did not match the quality I originally paid for.

The breakfast was a bit hit and miss - porridge, DIY waffles, fruit, pastries and white bread. Filled a gap but needs a bit of a rethink.

The bed was nice aside from the big dip in the middle. Good for one person but my husband and I constantly had to lay towards the edge of the bed so we wouldn’t get stuck in the middle. I wish the kitchenette area had more silverware but that isn’t a big concern!

It was very nice, very clean. The sofa bed was broken so we could not really put weight on it which left us unable to it. It was also incredibly stained and thin.

We were in Schaumburg to see family. This suite was perfect for our trip. The pull-out bed was not the best but we made it work.

The room is clean and spacious. The extra blanket has a fresh scent of fabric conditioner, indicating that it's newly washed. I can really sense the freshness. I would definitely recommend this hotel—I love how clean it is.

Really? Charged me for slow internet that barely worked. Location is wonderful. Between IKEA and Costco. Lots of choices in the Chicago area. Pick a place where they listen to the guests.

HOW HOUSE CLEANERS JUST WALKS IN YOUR ROOM WITHOUT KNOCKING OR IF THEY DID KNOCK THE DIDN’T GIVE NO ONE ENOUGH TIME TO ANSWER AND THEY SHOULD NOT JUST COME IN NO ONES ROOM IF THEY NOT CHECKED OUT OR THEY WASN'T INVITED.

The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a huge variety of options! The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble.

Staff is extremely helpful and nice. Can have room service everyday if you need it. I don’t but it’s nice to know. A nice breakfast although I didn’t get to use it but on weekend because I had to leave for work at 6 am. Comfortable beds. Nice large room.

Great spot near restaurants and shops. Clean location and rooms. My only complaint was that the bed was like sleeping on a pile of laundry. Bed was incredibly uncomfortable. We had two others in our party and the complained about the same problem. I checked another room and the bed was just as lumpy and uncomfortable. Not happy about that. However the shower was amazing with lots of hot water and very good pressure…which is important.

Check in was easy and the receptionist at the decals very kind.

It was close by to where we needed to be It has cockroaches, the shower was falling apart, had to wait for staff to return from where ever they were to check in. Not clean at all

when you wanted ice you had to go to the front desk and they have to let you into a room, watch you get your ice. They did not have ice buckets or trays for the freezer. When I booked the hotel I was told they had a hot tub and it turns out they dont.

The hot breakfast. The front lobby was very nice. The staff was friendly. The rooms had a smelly odor and were outdated.

When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk staff was friendly. The reason why my experience wasn't so great was because the walls were so thin. We could hear kids running around and screaming. When we got to our room, it definitely wasn't as clean as I thought it would be. The blanket had a stain, so I requested a new one. The toilet also had a pubic hair on the toilet seat. Worst of all, there was a KNIFE on the ground. It was at the front entrance of the door and blended in with the carpet. He stepped on the knife, but luckily, he still had his shoes on. If his shoes were off, he could have got injured.

A great place for families to stay based the amenities like room options, pet friendly, free breakfast and pool. There is not a hot tub/whirlpool tub. The beds are not comfortable and worn at least in the room we stayed in. They should replace the beds.

The breakfast was excellent. I am gluten and dairy free and I still had breakfast options. They even had oat milk! The place was very clean. Very nice.

The property is well located and spacious. Staff was very courteous and receptive to reasonable request. The extra full bath with 2 bedrooms was a pleasant surprise. Limited breakfast options was the only thing that can be looked into, morning coffee was excellent though.

Stay is pleasant and room are also good , old set up but good space . Only issue which we have is the house keeping which is not that frequent.

Filthy hotel vey nasty

This property is in need of an upgrade..so outdated .The employees are wonderful and the property is very clean just my room had broken tables.overall my kids enjoyed the pool and basketball court so it was worth the stay.

I chose this place for my birthday weekend. The toilet overflowed at 3am .No one was on site but a maintenance man .He us towels and a pluger .What bad timing for a celebration

Very thin walls. Beds are very stiff and hard. Also the offered breakfast was all stale food.

I always check out the pool and hot tub photos before booking a hotel, and it looked great. The pool is large and the water was warm. However, the hot tub was closed and tiled over two years ago. The pool area also had large windows and left the pool area cooler.

It's the smallest, claustrophobic room we've ever had at a Residence Inn. We can barely move around w/o bumping each other.

The check-in process could have been way better, seemed a bit disorganized and we had a total of 5 rooms they told some people late check-out was at 1pm others 12:30

Surprise charges on my bill 2 days after check out! Bed uncomfortable. Old pillows. No hot tub. Hot tub advertised in photo as false representation of hotel.

Sofa was uncomfortable for sitting and sleeping. Furniture was well worn - would not buy it at a garage sale. Kitchen was fine. Pillows were thin. Gym was fine - treadmill worked appropriately. Breakfast was as expected. It was roomy enough for 5 people (2 bedrooms) which is why we stayed there. But hotel felt worn out and in need of refreshing. It was conveniently located. Indoor swimming pool was used and nice the first day but next two days - no one had put out fresh towels or emptied bin.

I booked this six months ago and tried to early check in. They checked my reservation and room. They said that they were waiting for the rooms to be cleaned and it would have to be normal check in times, perfectly acceptable. We came back an hour after normal check in time to be told that they did not have my room and that I would be downgraded into a smaller room and bed, no discount or even apology. Why can't I know this when I asked earlier? The key card didn't work. When we finally got in, the bed was small and uncomfortable. The kitchen counter was cracked in half and sagging. There was mystery fluids and stains all over the place. The pool was always 'going to be open later", but never was. Terrible experience.

It was nice but the bed was way to furm. It was hard to sleep on. And the couch had zero back support when sitting on it.

I’m three road-trips from New York to the Midwest. This is the BEST room we’ve had…period! Great layout, spacious, clean, quiet and toddler friendly (art work secured to the wall, nor a lot of wires, etc). Nice, new amenities. We paid almost twice as much for a room half the size earlier this week. We loved this hotel and will definitely be back!

I would absolutely recommend residence inn by Marriott for a short or longer term stay. Very clean, amenities include pool and gym plus a nice outside area. Plenty of parking available and the staff was quite literally top notch.

The property was fine. What I didn’t like was that I was charged almost 100 dollars more on my first night that the rate Expedia guaranteed me. I will not be booking with Expedia again

Me and my family stayed here for just an overnight staycation and it was wonderful. The check in was easy and the customer service was on point. The only thing i would say that was a "negative" if that was their website shows there is a hot tub in the pool are but this hotel no longer has one. That needs to be updated on the website. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Came down the elevator on Sunday morning at 6 AM. The hallway was covered with water. The pool room had several inches of water over the floor. The entire pool was under water. Staff was outside smoking a cigarette.
