The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was great and our stay was so comfortable. I was traveling with two elderly family members and the accommodations were wonderful for them.

We had a king suite, and it was super large! We really enjoyed the size of it. There was a beautiful fireplace, but I wish the appliances were larger and had a freezer instead. We had a jacuzzi, but never used it. The breakfast had many choices, and was done well. The location was good, in that there was a Dollar General Store in the same parking lot.

The room and bed were comfortable. When I got home, I found that I was charged $1.62 for a safe that I did not know existed. Should have been part of the room rate.

Our room was spacious and clean, parking was easy and plentiful, the breakfast selection was nice, and the staff were all friendly. However, they need to be better at enforcing curfew/quiet time/whatever you call it, as several of the rooms near us were full of children and adults being ridiculously loud until close to two in the morning.

The free breakfast options are pretty limited. There never seems to be any bananas....only apples and oranges. The waffles are always great, but everything else is just so-so. A bit of improvement here, a bit more variety...would be fantastic.

The staff was very helpful. Stayed in the room with the Jacuzzi and the king size bed. Bed was super comfortable. Jacuzzi did the trick of helping me relax after packing up all of my belongings in my house wound up booking a room for my son and daughter-in-law, who had helped me. I would highly recommend this establishment for anybody staying in the area. And there’s a great bar down the street named Peckham’s place. Irish dive bar with great bartenders, and the locals were very welcoming.

Breakfast was good, room was nice. Only gave 4 stars for cleanliness because bathroom shelves had used deodorant and garbage left behind. Other than that room was comfortable and cozy. Staff very nice and helpful

Loved the hot tub and fireplace in the room, 2 tvs as well. We enjoyed the pool, Jacuzzi and sauna. We have stayed there twice for long weekends and will definitely be going back for a nice getaway. HIGHLY recommend getting the hot tub and fireplace room and HIGHLY recommend going to Howe's Caverns and the Secret Caverns!!!

Completely booked and very busy during my stay. Staff did a great job trying to keep up with the demand of pool towels, etc. Only suggestion would be to have more chairs around the pool area. :-)

Yes by the way take off the restaurant The nest from your menu absolutely horrible rip off and they treated as horribly the food was horrible $55 for lobster mac and cheese that was edible at best I took it because I didn't realize it was $55 I would have never ordered it $2 for bread which was one piece cut in half $4 for a deviled egg which was absolutely nasty the food was gross that's the only complaint I have the staff was awesome the maintenance guy kept that place so clean beautiful I've never stayed in such a clean nice place. The maintenance man there should get a raise he dealt with so much disgusting stuff from people and kept it clean and was such a sweetheart don't remember his name but maybe if you value her employees you should give him a shout out I'm sure he doesn't make much and takes pride in that as well as the gentleman that ran the breakfast so very nice

I love staying at the comfort inn in Scotia, from the check-in staff that is so pleasant and easy going to the beautiful room I had the jacuzzi suite King and I loved everything about it. It looks like they had a renovation or update because everything is just a little bit more better and prettier than when I lasted there I've been a customer of theirs for many years since they opened but lately when I came this time the tubs are bigger wider, the bathrooms have now shampoo and conditioner and lotions, the fire the chimney fire looking thing I forgot what it's called you can now control it with a with a remote to your liking it's beautiful and the rooms now have two TVs one in the sitting area and one in front of the bed which I actually enjoy very much and the breakfast was really good still hot even when I went down like 15 minutes to close. And you can't not mention the amenities around it the Dollar general and the Chinese store and I actually ate at the family Cafe there and it was really good as well definitely worth my money and my time.

The entire hotel was clean. This was not an easy task there was snow while we were there and the staff was continually cleaning. The room was clean and comfy. The front desk staff was knowledgeable , courteous and friendly.

Our stay was only one night, but it was very pleasant. The location of the hotel was perfect for our needs. The staff were both helpful & hard working. If Schenectady is a destination in our future, we would readily stay at the Comfort Inn & Suites again.

Beds and rooms clean and comfortable. Sauna heated up nicely and was clean, as well as the hot tub. Hot tub could use some fresh paint, as it looks quite grimey when the water is still in it. Staff were very friendly and as helpful as they could be, during my tv dilemma. It is centrally located, with chinese place, diner, liquor store and dollar general sharing the same parking lot. Keurig in the room, small fridge and microwave. Blackout curtains. Some rooms have only showers, others have shower bath combo.

The hotel was immaculately clean and the amenties were also great! I enjoyed the steam room and the jacuzzi which were both open from 5 am to 11 am. Staff was friendly and informative. This will be my ho to hotel when i am staying in the this area of NY. Its also conveniently located, very near NY State Thruway.

This is our 3rd time staying here for concerts nearby and won’t be our last! This hotel is a hidden gem. So clean, safe and convenient!

The people were great, the place was clean, the fire alarm malfunction, though not their faults was pretty annoying. Getting a later check out on a day we weren't leaving didn't matter. I was comfy the room was clean, and that's what mattered to us.

It was good but not great

The room was great, but I suspect the walls are VERY thin, as we could clearly hear the people in the next room (and they were just doing the normal stuff: tv, hair drying, etc.). Additionally, I'm not sure if it's the design, or if we had duds but the dispenser for the conditioner barely worked, and the dispenser for lotion did not work at all. Additionally, the elevator was down (no sign) for a short period of time - which wasn't a problem for us but may have been for others. That all being said, the bed was comfy, the room was clean, and the staff was friendly. All and all it was a fine stay, but there were some minor inconveniences, and it was a bit pricey.

The ceiling between floors is crap, I was on the 2nd floor and whoever was in the room over me I could hear them walking, running, etc. And the entrance door made the worst noise. Was not impressed with the rubber eggs, poached ham or the undercooked sausage for breakfast. Only good side it was cheap.

The hotel was nice. The only complaint was it was odd how to get the room services while staying.

We stayed for 3 days & we were really impressed with the cleanliness of the Hotel and room. I did not get to enjoy their free breakfast but my husband did, he states it was good. I would definitely book this hotel for my next visit in July. I was worth the price paid.

One of my fave places to stay!! Conveniently located, there is a dollar general, liquor store, chinese place and local diner, all in the same parking lot!! Very clean, friendly and helpful staff!! Reasonable rates, pool, sauna, hot tub. My only complaint, is that the toilets in the rooms, are a water saving toilet w/ power flush. HOWEVER, it takes 2 and 3 flushes to get the toilet paper to go down. Idk how they think theyr saving water like that.

Worst stay ever. First 1:30am water starts leaking from the room above us.after letting the staff know it took them over a hour to find us another much smaller room even though we paid for the better room. And if not enough we started our free breakfast and before the time was up they started pulling the breakfast away and put up. And we wanted a refund for the way we were treated on top of the crap stay and sleep they told us Expedia was a third party and go through them. Last time ever comfort inn will be in our plans.

This is our fourth stay at this location and the second time that Chromecast did not work. Again, traveling with a 13 year old makes this a true inconvenience. I would suggest upgrading your tech and I will be sure to ask about the room's Chromecast before booking again. I would also point out that the heating in the room was very strange and could do with an update. No way to control or direct the blower (we ended up covering half of it with a towel so we could sit comfortably on the bed) and it was either cold or too hot. Hard to get it right - kind of like in the summer with the AC (no way to direct the cold air and it was damp - as if the AC is too big for the room). Otherwise, our stay was good.
