The Landing Hotel at Rivers Casino Schenectady

I love this hotel, and have stayed here several times! It is well taken care of, feels like it is new, and the staff is always helpful and professional. Plus, they have a delicious breakfast with room service!

Comfortable and clean

I was very disappointed, the room was dusty, smells, AC was loud and there were bugs in the room. This was room 113. We chose this hotel because it looks amazing. I mentioned to front desk who told me that because we booked with third they were unable to make an adjustment to bill but was going to have a manager called . There is no call as yet

The Landing Hotel is so clean and the beds are very comfortable. I like how they have room service available from the restaurants in the casino.

This is a very nice hotel. Every staff we encountered was polite and helpful - facilities were very clean and well maintained.

The front desk staff were so nice and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Shower was unique with just a half glass wall which let the water get out on the floor despite the shower rug, but floor was not slippery so it wasn’t a big problem. Only real issue I had was the bathroom light just coming on automatically without a way to disable that feature(unless I just couldn’t figure it out) so I didn’t get blasted with bright light in middle of night visit

The casino was small from what I did see but there was a Starbucks and a couple places to eat.

The room looks nice. There were some condition issues. Example chipped marble, some wallpaper, not lining up put the Internet did not work at all constantly bouncing in and out and very limited phone service. Not a good choice if you’re here for work or need to communicate with anybody.

The casino and the room were wonderful! The hotel staff was totally amazing! They were extremely welcoming and helpful! Definitely the type of people you want to communicate with at a front desk! We definitely will be back! The beds were super comfortable!

There was plenty of free parking, the hotel also offers VIP parking for $20, which lets you park directly across from the lobby. But TBH, I was fine with the free parking, it was a short walk to the lobby. The casino is attached to the hotel, but you cannot hear/smell anything from it. The lobby was quiet, and so was our floor. We had a king size bed and a clean room, nice flat screen TV with a beautiful view of the river behind the hotel. The room was very modern looking, and not dusty/old looking. There are plenty of plugs for all your devices, bring the base tho cuz there is no type-C USB charger. Bathroom was really nice too, free soap, conditioner and shampoo in the shower. This hotel, doesn't have a ton of amenities, but I can guarantee you will be comfortable coming here whether you're here for gambling, or just a quick getaway

Was off season but seemed like a lot of people there. Food was good And staff was friendly.

Breakfast was fresh, casino was live and room clean and staff was very welcoming

Absolutely loved our stay, as always! We put our “do not disturb” sign on our door the first night and when I exited my room the next morning a Staff member saw me and immediately asked if I was room 514. I said yes and she asked if I needed anything. So sweet and so above and beyond! The room was great, no complaints. This was our weekend getaway from life, children and all those stresses. It was perfect (again, as always). Even the lady checking me in was awesome. We chatted about the Outlets in Lee, Ma. and she gave us warm chocolate chip cookies. Assuming that’s protocol but was still awesome!!

On the 3rd night AC in my room stopped working and i had to sleep without AC during the severe winter weather. They told me i will be provided with refund and the night before i leave when i asked about refund they said i was provided with 100$ food and beverage coupon, after my dinner. They need to improve the service and needs to communicate with customer about the changes.

The gentleman that checked me in was great. He asked if we wanted to be near the elevator or farther away because of the noise coming from the traffic of the guest entering and exiting from the elevator. The warm chocolate chip cookie was a delicious surprise too. 😀 The room was spotless.

Honestly didn’t enjoy it at all except for the fact that I did very well at the casino but the bed sheets were very rough made it very uncomfortable for sleeping, the sports book was awful went to watch the ufc fights couldn’t even hear the tv due to the fact that there is a bar / poor excuse for a night club right next to it blasts music drowning out the sound of the TV’s and the staff was very friendly but trying to ask them about anything to do in the area for eating or entertain outside of the casino isn’t okay they couldn’t tell me anything I had to fine restaurants and entertainment all on my own they were very unhelpful.

The room was nice and clean but could use a microwave and a coffee pot otherwise we had a great time and are looking forward to going back again. The staff at the hotel and casino were incredibly nice and very professional I hope that management is very proud of everyone who plays a part in everyone's stay and hopefully you can keep them there.

We enjoyed our stay at the landing. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We were however did not have a microwave, or coffee maker, and the sink was clogged. The hair dryer didn't work, but they brought a new one. Also we didn't like the shower because it was a solid half door allowing water to spray out and it allowed the bathroom air to come in making us cold in the shower.

Room was clean and comfortable except that the bed was not. The issues were that there was no ability to make coffee, and there were no tags to order breakfast for thr morning. The toilet paper was the worst i have ever had to use and there was no lotion. Also the lights over the bed make you feel like you are being interrogated.

The hotel is amazing. It is clean and comfortable. The staff there is also great however the casino is pretty small so I’m not the biggest fan of that and the food isn’t the best but there’s plenty of other options nearby.

Clean nice rooms overlooking a canal. The hotel was very separated from the casino which was good since I was traveling on business and needed a quiet nights sleep. The steak house in the casino had very good food. Grab a Starbucks in the morning from the lobby and was on my way. Would stay again

We came to hotel after complicated driving for 7 hours tired and were met by friendly staff. Check in was fast and easy. After all we got excellent warm chocolate cookies. Love the hotel !!

We have stayed at the Landing numerous times and have enjoyed our stays. This visit was not quite as good. They are now "dog friendly" and having a room with a dog crying and barking was not a good situation. We will definitely go to this property again but need to be away from the dog friendly floor...Mark H

This hotel is fantastic! The view of the river is truly beautiful, and the rooms are incredibly comfortable! I got delicious room service breakfast for hardly any $. I didn't even go to the casino, but I would stay again just for the great hotel!

This is a beautiful and clean hotel with comfortable and spacious rooms. Our room overlooked the river. It is very close to Union College and not far from Saratoga Springs. We will return!

Hotel was quiet and room was great

The staff were very polite. However the room itself was very dusty and mom left with swollen eyes. The WiFi also does not work so I had to leave in order to work from my laptop.

Three of us stayed in 2 queen bedroom. It was clean, beds comfortable. There was small fridge in the room, but no coffee maker etc. Dining options include Starbucks and 3 restaurants inside the casino, pretty noisy and not very appetizing.Outside beautiful river walk

It was wonderful. We were surprised with a bottle of wine for our anniversary and a free dessert at dinner.

It’s on good in comparison to other options in Schenectady, which is not exactly a tourist or business destination for anybody.

Conveniently located, extremely clean, and a great view of the Mohawk River. There is plenty to do and many choices available at the hotel, and it was very quiet, so no issues falling and staying asleep.

The Landing Hotel was a first class place to stay after a long day of riding our bikes on the Hudson Mohawk Trail. The staff is outstanding, the rooms are clean and comfortable with all the amenities. Only drawback is that there is limited dining outside the property. It’s right on the trail so this was a great location for us to rest, shower and recharge before continuing our journey. Great job!

Really pleasant stay. Went with my son for a college visit to Union and the hotel choices were slim. Went for the Landing because it was least expensive, but surprisingly ended up being the best lodging option in the area! Super friendly staff, very clean, and a Starbucks right down in the lobby. We didn’t check out the casino, but guest rooms were very nice.

1/2 way to Buffalo from Maine, Great place to stay on our way to visit my 89 yo mom. Clean, nice rooms,friendly staff and a casino if you’re into that.

I was told that the parking garage was free, but i had to use my credit card to enter and exit, and it charged me $20. Pretty dumb.

On the river, with nice views.

Hotel itself has barely any cell service on many of its floors and when we were there, the Wi-Fi was down in most of the hotel outside the lobby. We struggled to try to communicate with the family members we were there to visit.

Hotel was average…was disappointed in the shower and the heat/fan system in the room was noisy. Housekeeping staff very loud in the morning outside the room. Our stay was fine…we came to enjoy the casino which was fun. Not sure we will stay again.

This was a couple's get away for the weekend. Every single person from check in, Casino, bars and restaurants were beyond expectations is service, kindness and friendliness. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the view of the bay. We did not win big but maybe next time. :)

The landing was nice and convenient. It was located about 5 minutes away from the venue for a wedding I was attending.

We booked a few rooms for a family event and everything was wonderful! They made sure the rooms were close to each other and on the same floor. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and you even got warm chocolate chip cookies at check-in. We had a great time at the casino and listening to live music And the kids even had some fun playing cornhole and tic-tac-toe outdoors. The view of the river was a beautiful one as well. thank you for a great day!

We only stayed one night, and will definitely come back! The hotel is very clean, the reception desk people were friendly and welcoming. The warm cookies were a nice surprise. The bar offers (free) really nice hot and cold finger foods during happy hour. The deviled eggs were exquisite!

visiting by Union first time stayed here. Clean nice room. Staff helpful. Attached to Casino that’s your thing. Great restaurant/wine bar called Shaker and Vine a very short walk. free EV chargers. Garage is pricey but you can park in parking lot for free. Nice workout room.

Very quiet. Very clean. The best part for us was that the staff were genuinely friendly while still professional. Only slight negative for caffeine addicts (like me) was the need to go to the Starbucks in the lobby for coffee.
