Older hotel. Not much around it. Staff was friendly and efficient. Room was big and clean.

Pull into the parking lot and you can tell right away it’s the place to bring a prost itute or find drugs. Was approached by a black man as soon as I stopped my vehicle! Trash and filth surrounding the building. Stained and dirty walls. Stained and dirty sheets, mattress protectors, and mattress. Ancient heater and ac that looked hazardous. Disgusting and unsafe.

The second room wasn’t that much better. Gross. I went to Walmart to buy a hair dryer and iron they don’t offer. I also bought a blanket so I didn’t have to sleep on the bed sheets. And a can of lisol. I also checked for bedbugs. The hot water only lasted 5 minutes so I had to take very quick showers. Sink water pressure was bad. The door locks not working right the toilet seat wasn’t attached. The whole property stunk of weed. I was worried about my car. Trash everywhere. Landscaping is really bad. The place looks like an old abandoned building ready to be torn down as it should be. I picked this location because it had a list of “excellent” reviews. No freaking way. The reviews must be fake. Nobody in their right mind would give this hell hole an excellent status. No freaking way. Believe me, sleep in a cardboard box you’re better off.

We found the facility to be overall good for the price we paid. We did have to pay $15 for dog (cleaning fee, upfront)

The room was absolutely filthy and there was no water pressure. Burn marks in the bathtub, stains on the wall, dirt on the floor.

Check in was good. Room smells very strongly (perfumey) of cleaning product. Fan for heat is so loud i cant hear the TV

Dirty, filthy and disgusting. Gave me the keys to a disgusting room with cigarette butts and slept in beds. When I got the new room wasn't much better.

Convenient location, very quiet. However, the exterior badly needs updating and remodeling, the grounds would benefit from trash removal and some landscaping. There was no coffee maker in the room and none available at the office, which would have been a nice courtesy. The room itself, while clean on the surface, had dirty corners in the sink area and the “hardwood “ floors could have looked better.

i had car trouble on my way there and was not able to make my stay ...when i called and asked for a rain check they said because i pre paid and used Expedia that was not possible and i forfeited my fee for that evening and i should have opted to pay in person on arrival... I found that to be very disheartening amd hope something can be done in this natter as i am a regular traveler

Staff is always pleasant and efficient. Room is dated but clean. Property could use more outdoor lighting. Convenient off of highway. Great price. Dining options within 10 minutes.

It is as advertised. 2-2.5 stars, but a decent value.

The manager called me during the day to make sure we were still coming. Had a very friendly conversation. We arrived at 11 pm. He greeted me and was very kind. We had been nervous about a late arrival but he assured us he would be there till midnight. This level of thoughtfulness makes me very grateful.

It's on a very quiet street

This property was fine for a quick one night stay. The property and area are on the rougher side and would not be great for folks that are sensitive to that or younger children.

The facility needs to be upgraded. The exterior is dated. It gives the impression of being unsafe but I have stayed here twice with no issues

everything was fine, no issues during the stay. only thing is when we checked out, there was nobody at the office window at 9:40 a.m. I rang the bell 3 times in about 5 minutes and no one ended up coming to the window. I put the 2 key cards through the plexiglass window and just left. hopefully that is the way to do it!

Don’t stop here

I booked a king room, I got 2 doubles. I went to take a shower and there were hairs all over the place in the tub and the sink. The area does not attract the cream de la cream of society. Very disappointed.

To the staffs credit, he called just as I entered the room to ask if it was OK. Hadn’t really seen the room, so accepted the room. Should have said no, but as I said, it was late, and I was tired.

While the property is undergoing renovations, it was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The room smelled of cigarette smoke so badly we had to run the air conditioning all night to try and have fresh air. The two pillows provided were so flat that you really would not know you had a pillow. The tub had burn marks from cigarettes.

The shower rod fell down, there was no stopper in the tub to take a bath and there were burn marks on the plastic tub.

Place was very nice and very good price.

Clean up the area

Upon arriving at Motel 6 we were advised that the reserved room allowed smoking. A non-smoker room was $ 21.43 extra. Whoever heard of a smoking room being less than a non smoking room. Un-heard of in this century. Very Unfair

Our non-smoking room stunk of smoke, especially strongly in the bathroom. Even the bed linens smelled smoky. The AC had a musty smell to it, and was very loud. I would strongly recommend against staying here.

This hotel room was not cleaned at all. You could tell that the toilet had been used since it was last cleaned. The sheets were stained and the wall closest to the bed was covered in bodily fluids that could have been easily cleaned had someone tried. Everything in the room had a sticky film on it. We were approached by a man under the influence immediately after exiting the car. The man at the front desk was nice and very helpful.

These rooms are very inexpensive. If you on a budget then they are good. The AC worked good. The bed was cleaned. But it had a little smoke smell. I dont know next time I pay 30 more and upgrade..

I seldom leave bad reviews because I know how hard it is to run a small business. For the benefit of the owners and future guests; you must CLEAN and I mean DEEP CLEAN. Not just surfaces but cracks, corners, floor boards, behind doors and everywhere high and low. The room was absolutely filthy. The blanket under the bedspread had cigarette burns and stains so bad I wouldn't use it for my dog. The smell of weed and cigarettes in the room was nauseating. We didn't dare turn on the HVAC because it was equally filthy and I can't imagine the mold and filth that would have spewed forth. Stayed here because it was the last available room for the eclipse. For the owners: you will make more money and have a higher occupancy if you invest in your property. Take every curtain, bed cover, blanket and stitch of fabric; burn them and replace. Literally use a power washer to clean the rooms then paint. Take the HVAC unit apart and CLEAN it then put in new filters. Remove moldy black caulk from bathroom and replace. Your guests will be happy and leave nice reviews attracting more guests, more income, and higher profits. On the plus side the man at reception was very friendly and nice. The sheets and towels, although very thin, appeared and smelled clean...THANK GOD. And the mattress was satisfactory. Fixing this place is more elbow grease than $$$. Work on one room a week and in a year you will have a new property. I wish you the best of success.

I book 3 room and all 3 room was so dirty and the bedsheet was durty the towel was dirty . The whole bathrooms was dirty . And they had someone came in our room when we were there to take out the trash no didnt fix the bed no new sheets . My skin is breaking out

We came to Schenectady to visit family. We wanted a reasonably priced place to stay. All we really cared about was that it was clean and safe. Although out trash was emptied, the beds were left unmade and the floor looked like someone had tracked in dirt from the outside. The parking area was not convenient. There is a large patch of land that would serve well as parking spaces; instead it serves as a large space to walk to the front office for morning coffee, or just to the office. The office is not connected to the motel.The clientele were a mixed bag of ok and downright seedy. We realize that this is a no frills place and that’s ok. But they could do a lot better.

Very dated hotel, been around for a long time. My 1st visit, it was okay. Room was clean, bed comfy, nice hot water but not a lot of pressure. Most hotels l stay at have some kind of breakfast, this had nothing. But overall, I’m happy with my visit .

I did not like anything about it, I want a total refund, the bathroom,the sink, floors, rugs, mirrors,shower head ,all the shower ridiculously dirty,no Kleenex, no nothing, the refrigerator and microwave too,disgustingly dirty, when I called in the morning to get a refund and tell them how it was, the woman on the phone was very rude and not anywhere apologetic at all, I already contacted motel 6 I'm going to contact them directly on Tuesday I want a full refund of my stay , 😔👎

Our room was clean, with the exception of a very dusty vent behind the bathroom door - not a big deal. There was a large grassy area outside to walk our dog, but no trash can to put the poopie bag.

Most of the other guests seemed to be living there. There was no shampoo and conditioner. This was on the low end of adequate.

The floor was not cleaned. The shower dirty and rusty, cobwebs. Unfortunately we have been very tired otherwise we would have checked out.

The bed is so worn out I didn’t get any sleep!!

The non smoking rooms still smelled smoky. The bed sheets smelled smoky. It is definitely no frills but clean enough. One of our rooms air conditioning never got cold.

I like how friendly the staff were. Treated me like a valued customer. This was my second visit there.

The room was fine. No complaints at all. When I checked in, the TV remote wasn't working. Someone came to fix it immediately. Very satisfied

I was disgusted but it’s filth. Couldn’t use the shower. Light over sink was out. And a sliver of soap for two people was ridiculous! Floors were dirty, dust every and cob webs all over.

The bed is like sleeping on a rock. Otherwise the room is comfortable. Other people staying here seem to think they are the only people on the premises as in there was no consideration regarding noise. Can't blame the motel for that.

I travel all over the US, this is by far the WORST hotel i have ever stayed in. Absolutely filthy, so bad i could not even take a shower. The sink would not drain, did not even try the tub or shower, too dirty. There were webs across the walls, the counters in the room were dirty, it was the worst. Forget putting anything in the refrigerator or microwave, there was no clock in the room, so i picked up the phone to make a wake up call, it was disgusting, these owners should be ashamed of themselves.

I actually never stayed here once I saw the abysmal condition of the room. The room was unclean, unpainted and just awful. The tub bottom was entirely stained brown and had rust marks all over it. I wouldn’t want to shower there even if I had shower shoes or flip flops on. Dirt marks all over, too many to count. Exposed wiring by the HVAC unit. I took pictures for proof. Luckily there was a much nicer motel about a mile away that had an available room.

I felt the property was poorly managed. Dirty bathroom and dirty room… it was late when we checked in we made the best of it and left first thing in the morning. Cleaning staff needs retrained!

The room we had smelled of cigarettes which matched the cigarette burns in the sheets, blankets, and bathtub. The microwave and fridge were filthy. The floors and counters looked like they hadn’t even been cleaned and the towels were stained. We had no choice but to stay since we got back at midnight from a concert, but I will not be staying at another motel 6 in the future.
