We asked for late checkout, after agreeing the night before, the person at the desk was very rude and demanded we leave at 11 even though there were many vacancies and no cleaning staff at the time. Very disappointing
- 4/5
Good location, the breakfast was nice- highly recommended
- 2/5
We checked in at 11pm after a busy day. The guy at the front desk gave us our key cards and explained where to go. We got to the room and the key card was not scanning after several attempts. After a few attempts, a man inside swung the door open and looked upset. They gave us a room that was occupied! We walked back up to the front and this is where I got upset with this process. Mistakes happen and that’s fine… but when we told them we got an occupied room… the 2 workers were having a side conversation about the situation like we weren’t there. They were saying to each other “people are in that room?” “there shouldn’t be anyone in there” “they’re not supposed to be in there” “should I go ask them what they’re doing in there because they checked out earlier today” etc etc etc. Sir…. Me and my family are just trying to lay down. Figure that out later after you give me a different room. After a few minutes and having someone check a room, we finally got our new room keys. The room was dusty and had unclean spots on some surfaces. All of that being said… you get what you pay for. I wouldn’t stay here again honestly. It was a last minute booking that was close by, but I’d rather drive way farther than to stay here.
- 5/5
Room 131 was amazing- location, size and near handicap parking. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was delicious- hot and plenty.
- 5/5
I will stay there again. Quiet area. Breakfast was great. Super sweet staff.
- 4/5
The hot tub only had half of the jets working so that wad disappointing. But the free breakfast was very good. I have celiac and there were plenty of options for me.
- 5/5
Very nice clean and quiet.
- 3/5
The room was clean and customer service was great! The bed was rough, too firm for both my wife and I. The lobby and dining room were uncomfortably warm. And it was cool (not cold) outside. But the heater/AC in the room worked great. The breakfast was decent. What you’d expect. If you want something different, there’s a jack in the box next door.
- 5/5
Everything there was good. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and in very good condition. It was very quiet most of the time, especially at night. One serious drawback is the parking lot. The spaces are very tight and there isn't much room for getting in or out of a parked car without touching the cars next to yours. The parking lot next to the Jack in the Box has no outlet and not much room to turn around if you drive to the end of it and find no empty parking spaces. There were a lot of large company trucks parked there. It appears that the hotel must have a contract with some construction company. We ended up parking on the street where there was plenty of space between the sidewalk and the traffic lanes. The pool and hot tub area was clean and the water looked very clear and clean. The temperature of the hot tub was just right! And there were towels available at the pool area for drying off. The breakfast offerings were many! The food was very good except the eggs were a bit overdone, possibly because they had been sitting in the heated pan for a couple hours by the time I came to eat. The bed was a bit stiff and the pillows were a bit flat. The air conditioner worked very well and wasn't too loud. Overall I'd rate our stay as a solid "B+" for the price we paid.
- 5/5
does not provide breakfast
- 5/5
The front desk people were very helpful
- 3/5
Location was convenient to our purpose for visiting the area for 2 nights. Initially staff was rather rude. Took an extended phone call after beginning the process of our check-in, rather than put the call on hold for a couple of minutes. Fancy coffee machine in common area cannot adequately serve all guests. There was 3-5 people in line for coffee at any given time in the mornings. Additionally it malfunctioned & needed servicing at least twice during our brief stay. "Hot" breakfast items, while rather tasty, were not tended to efficiently, patrons had to ask for attendance. Bed was squeaky due to metal base and king mattress was quite lumpy & worn. Pillows were fine. A/c unit was pleasantly quiet. Mini fridge & microwave were enclosed in the closet which was great for noise abatement & glowing lights. Parking in their lot, while convenient, spaces were unnecessarily small & tight. Which isn't good with luggage to manage.
- 3/5
The breakfast was replenished the first morning. I think someone have to ask the second morning. The hot tub has awesome jets, but it could stand to be a little hotter. The staff was friendly and helpful overall. However, the cleaning staff did not replenish the shower gel, nor the bag for the ice bucket. Lastly, the parking lot is really tight - they should consider how they might expand it.
- 3/5
It was very noisy at even 1:00 in the morning. The room was very 1990 basic and no soap other than this minuscule little jar. Too late to call for real soap. However I left a personal item in my room and called back that day. They found it…saved it and I picked it up two weeks later. Thank you!
- 5/5
Convenient to Santa Cruz and San Jose.
- 5/5
Very happy with everything!!
- 4/5
The rooms were clean, comfortable, had a breakfast.
- 4/5
Pool was really cool for a "heated" pool. Breakfast was very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Would definitely stay here again. Clean room, convenient location, and helpful staff. I appreciated the microwave in the room since I pre make my son’s meal. 10-15 minute drive to Santa Cruz. Highly recommend for a quick trip.
- 2/5
Stayed in a room 131 that, unfortunately, was right next to the kitchen. Every morning, starting at 4am, loud banging occurred until 5:30. (Why you would put guests that are going to be there in that specific room for 4 days is beyond me ). Front desk couldn't help because there were no rooms available. So, 4 nights of being woke up at 4am (while on vacation) made for very long days (and headaches due to lack of sleep). The bubbles dont work in the hot tub all the time (and it was more like tepid bath water). I didn't even get all the way in because it was too cold. Rooms are okay, but the direct tv glitches a lot. Will not stay here again and will definitely not recommend it to anyone either. Ended up buying ear plugs to try and dim the noise (didn't help much). Also, housekeeping came in and threw my food away even with the do not disturb sign on.
- 5/5
I really enjoyed our stay
- 1/5
Do not know because I did not stay and did not get a refund.
- 4/5
The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. I traveled with 2 dogs. They had a turf area for them to do their business. The onky issue i had was, you can't leave them in the room alone which is understandable, however when i took them with me to get a breakfast i was told i had to take the dog out unless they were service dogs. So needless to say kinda hard to get breakfast. I did see other people in there with dogs and no one said anything to them. I believe they said something because i asked a question when getting food. Other than that the stay was nice.
- 2/5
Pet friendly
- 1/5
They did not clean our room and gave as few towels.
- 3/5
The breakfast was ok, coffee machine malfunctions. The beds was terrible it makes squeaky sounds. Noone came over to make our bed.
- 5/5
Ideal location next to highway. Helpful attentive staff. Lots of fast food restaurants locally which was all we were looking for on night stop-over - not sure what’s available if u r looking for “fine dining” though.
- 3/5
The hot tub heater did work (felt like cold bath water) and we found three spiders during the two days we stayed there. Didn’t sleep well the second night. Parking was tight and breakfast was ok.
- 5/5
It was such a nice short stay felt safe and comfortable. The room was clean and ready for us. The front desk employees were so kind and helpful, checking in was so simple.
- 5/5
We were visiting for a few days and this place was well located to the freeway. They were great with my service pup too!
- 3/5
Parking is easy, right off of highway. Very convenient. But facility is aging.
- 4/5
Our stay was very nice!!
- 3.5/5
Very clean and a great location The parking was crowded
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful!
- 3.5/5
I didn't eat any breakfast but it looked at tremendously good. I wasn't able to adjust the flow of water from the shower head it was very strong but nice. I have no comment because I didn't eat breakfast.
- 5/5
This is my favorite hotel to stay when I’m visiting Scott’s Valley!
- 5/5
Everything was great. Room was very well appointed, and the pool and jacuzzi were great. We’d come here again!
- 2/5
It basically is a hotel room that got a quick paint job with minor upgrades. Don’t look up or you will see the rust on the sprinkler spouts.
- 2/5
Dirty, wrappers on floor of room, hair in bathroom
- 5/5
I loved my stay and i will be back.
- 2/5
Room 114, please check the headboard of the bed. There are several spots with something white and sticky on it, which felt very dirty, and it ruined even the positive aspects of the hotel. Also, the entry door is not well soundproofed.
- 5/5
great stay
- 1/5
We were given two rooms at check-in. One was dirty, never turned over. Went to the front desk and were told the housekeeping staff have left for the day so they issued two other rooms and they both reaked of freshly smoked cigarettes. Also there was a whole crew of workers from a tree trimming company, yelling at each other from room to room and going in the hot tub in their underwear. Overall we got a bad vibe and it felt unsafe for our family of 5. The front desk lady refused to give us a refund even though hotels.com staff went above and beyond to call them and ask for a flexibility given the circumstance. So we left and stayed at the nearby beautiful Hilton hotel, but still had to pay for the two rooms that we did not sleep in.
- 4/5
excellent
- 5/5
Nice breakfast, easy parking, and clean space.
- 4/5
Good breakfast options
- 5/5
The room was clean enough. The beds were the most comfortable that I've ever slept on. The breakfast eggs, sausage and potatoes were warm at best. The parking stalls were a bit narrow.
- 3/5
Pros: friendly staff, comfortable beds, typical hotel breakfast. Small pool area looked clean and outside property is maintained well. Very quiet, easy access to 17. Cons: Scuff marks on room walls, window curtain very dirty, bathroom is very small and had some mold growing in ceiling corner. Dirt in corners of bathroom. We have a compact car, and could manage the parking ok, but larger cars have a hard time. If rooms are taken care of better and deep cleaned, I’d consider staying again, but in current condition would skip.
- 5/5
The staff was nice the rooms are buey clean, Also parking Spaces a little small bit that was the only small issue
- 4/5
Todo muy bien, lo unico fue que la mini refrigeradora estaba un poco sucia, lo demás bien el desayuno muy rico y variable.
- 4/5
The room was clean with basic amenities like mini fridge, microwave. I paid over $100 per night which I think was little overpriced given how loud it gets early in the morning. If you are not a morning person then you might get really annoyed with the sound of vehicles running right next to the road. Other than that decent room with decent breakfast.
- 4/5
Clean and comfortable room; nice location.
- 4/5
Spa was super nice! Breakfast was really good. We did get the pool shut down on short notice during the duration of our stay which was a bit of a let down but would definitely stay again
- 5/5
Everything about our stay was wonderful.. the welcoming staff (Jocelyn), our room was clean, the location was ideal, breakfast was deliciously delightful; plus, we had a pet - and our room was right by pet-friendly relief area.
- 3.5/5
Poor lighting in the room, a $30 early check-in fee not identified in the booking information or identified at check-in with the counter employee.
- 5/5
parking lot is small, but everthing else was good
- 5/5
Nice clean room, comfy mattress
- 5/5
Staff was excellent - room had some issues that were addressed and corrected. Parking was a little tight but, considering the expensive area, it was adequate. Breakfast was good and, once again, the staff was excellent especially Dabney.
- 3/5
Breakfast They charged for a dirty towel
- 5/5
Room was spotless and breakfast was as good as a Best Western gives.
- 2/5
The room itself was okay, but it did seem dusty, as if it hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly in a while. There was noticeable dust in the bathroom, especially along the floor corners. One major factor that impacted my overall rating was the lack of a restroom available near the lobby for guests. During breakfast, several customers, including my family, needed to use the restroom, but there was no public restroom accessible. This caused everyone to have to return to their rooms, which was inconvenient. Other than these concerns, our stay was overall okay.
- 4/5
Clean room , quiet stay
- 4/5
Rooms are clean and has fridge and microwave The breakfast served is wonderful
- 5/5
Good value for the price.
- 5/5
Great value near Santa Cruz. Clean, quiet, free breakfast okie dokie.
- 4/5
The staff at the front desk and housekeeping were all courteous, friendly, and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. The only issue was the lack of parking and the spacing between parking spaces that were a bit narrow and caused a problem in getting in and out of the space and the vehicle.
- 3/5
Check in was good. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Room wasn't the cleanest the tv would turn off without unplugging. The bed was not that comfortable.
- 5/5
Clean, great breakfast
- 5/5
Convenient clean location
- 5/5
The breakfast was amazing, a lot of variety, a clean room, delicious food and a cool coffee machine!! Hot tub after a long day yesterday was also a plus! Overall impressed with cleanliness, location and amenities!! Will stay again!
- 5/5
Clean room, quiet nice atqff
- 4/5
Clean room. Staff was courteous.
- 5/5
Amazing place to rest. :)
- 4.5/5
Coffee was great quiet used the treadmill would come back for sure
- 5/5
The room was clean and comfortable. The Staff were SUPER friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
The front desk person was very pleasant and efficient.
- 2.5/5
The breakfast was fantastic! Especially the coffee machine and omelets! It was very convenient. The lobby wax beautiful. The pool was centrally located. There were no towels in the room upon check in. We told the woman at the desk and the staff brought two body towels. No hand towels or washcloths. We had to go back to the desk and ask for more towels. The pool chairs were falling apart. The door had gaps on the bottom and side where light could be seen through. There were a couple of people staying there who were unsafe, bizarre behavior, smoking outside the doors cigarettes and pot, pants falling down.
- 5/5
Continental breakfast varieties always replenished and wonderful service. Ice machine and vending machine ONLY took ones….
- 4/5
Curtains did not work, but staff was very response and tried to fix the problem. The unit was clean
- 4/5
Room seemed cold but heater worked well. Breakfast was disappointing. Minimal selection and coffee machine difficult to use.
- 4/5
I liked the breakfast Nothing
- 4.5/5
Excellent
- 4/5
All was fine until i went yo get a drink late in the evening. Soda machine took my money twice but didn’t get any drink.
- 5/5
Clean room great breakfast couldn,t get shower only room in our 80s would have preferred shower only but everything else was great
- 5/5
I've stayed here before and chose it again because it's consistent. Service, breakfast, and staff are all great if you are just using the hotel as a place to sleep and hang out in between excursions to santa cruz and surrounding areas.

There are BRIGHT streetlights that are 20 feet away from the rooms that blast an OBSCENE amount of light into the rooms. Safety, I get it. But putting the thinnest white shade as the singular barrier to cover it does nothing. The first nights sleep was absolutely AWFUL. We got maybe 3/4 hours of sleep. The next day I went to the hardware store to the clamps and had to ask for an extra blanket to clamp onto the shade cover to block the obscene amount of light coming in. This is unacceptable, just install a thicker shade. Then the WiFi completely stopped working. I’m in IT and know all the tricks (forget network and rejoin, reboots etc) and it still didn’t work. The room was dirty and had clumps of hair attached to the bathroom wall, which I think I speak for everyone in thinking that doesn’t instill confidence nor comfort when staying. We planned to have a couple lazy mornings getting started but ended up leaving as soon as we woke up and couldn’t wait to check out. We weren’t expecting a 4 star experience here but this place absolutely doesn’t match the reviews on here, trip advisor or google.
- 5/5
Great value. Clean room, friendly staff, amenities as expected, good breakfast.
- 5/5
Clean & quiet. Close to stores.
- 3.5/5
It would have been helpful to have a hook on the wall in the bathroom, for clothes.
- 5/5
Breakfast exceeded expectations, particularly the espresso machine that produced decent espresso! Property shows a little wear and tear but everything was clean, staff were nice, and it felt like they were trying to make things as comfortable as possible.
- 5/5
Everyone and everything was great.
- 3.5/5
Room was good, but there were no extra blankets in the room. The bed was made so that the blankets didn't come all the way to the top of the bed and I was cold. When I went to look for an extra blanket in the closet, there was none.
- 4/5
Convinient location
- 5/5
Great staff great location

Staff checked us in quickly and the
- 5/5
Clean Decent food
- 5/5
Stayed 2 nights. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable. Heater had the option of fan-on all night, which really helps mask street noise. Breakfast was excellent - hot and cold options, with an excellent cappuccino machine! Will stay again when visiting.
- 5/5
Everything was great!
- 4/5
Value for price
- 4/5
Courteous staff, clean room
- 4.5/5
It was a good clean hotel, a little dated furniture.
- 5/5
Staff was great check-in check out was a breeze pool and jacuzzi were in working order and clean breakfast was great couldn't ask for a better stay
- 5/5
It was clean
- 5/5
Staff friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Great selection and variety for breakfast. We stayed here before and really like it.
- 5/5
Very nice rooms. The staff was pleasant. The breakfast was wonderful!!! The hot tub was perfect! Thank You for a lovely getaway!
- 5/5
It was a great stay , will stay there again
- 5/5
Good place to stay. Bit pricey but made up for it with the breakfast.
- 5/5
Nice very clean
- 5/5
The staff, amenities and overall stay was great. Loved that within walking distance there are fast food restaurants, gas stations. I only took 1 point off for location because a grocery store nearby would have made it perfect.
- 5/5
Check in staff were very friendly
- 4/5
The parking spaces were much too tight! Offer hard boiled eggs and more fruit.
- 4/5
Tight parking. Had to wait to check in on a Saturday night as the desk person was on lunch until 7:05pm.
- 5/5
Love it! Stay here every time I come to the area
- 3/5
Place was ok, but was noisy at 5am because it is a pet friendly hotel. Dogs barking early morning.
- 4/5
Otherwise a d good quick stop.
- 5/5
Has a few minor maintenance things to take care of, but I’d still stay here 100%! Very easy to get to from the highway, nice staff, feels very welcoming with all of the beautiful plants around the site. Breakfast was good, love my waffles. Overall great place
- 5/5
Very comfortable
- 3/5
Clean but too far from Santa Cruz. 20 minutes to the town . Near the north and south 17 entrances. Nothing around hotel. Housekeeping not done daily. Room was spacious and clean. Tv only regular channels. Breakfasts were nice. Plenty of choices for family. Coffee machine very nice with choices of coffees. Staff was friendly. Price was reasonable but next time I’d stay within Santa Cruz for a little extra.
- 3/5
The hotel was ok. The room was a good size. What we did not like was lack of housekeeping. Only every other day would they resupply towels and soaps. The breakfast was very nice- eggs potatoes sausage waffles cereal and breads. Clean outside with a pool and hot tub. It was located near north and south 17 ramps which made it nice. About 20 minutes to the town of Santa Cruz. Nothing to do so Next time we would stay within Santa Cruz. The staff was nice though.
- 3/5
Cons- The carpet in the room was very disgusting. I did not feel comfortable walking on it without shoes which made it difficult with two small children who like to play on the floor. The sink and bathtub had drainage issues. We did not feel comfortable at all in the rooms.
- 3/5
The lobby was in good condition and the room was in ok condition. The beds were very hard, the bath fan was horribly noisy. The room smelled like marijuana when we first entered. For over $200 a night, I expected more. I would not stay here again.
- 5/5
Clean, courteous, easy parking
- 5/5
It met our needs.
- 4/5
It was fine. Coffee maker was a bit odd, would be easier to have pots vs individual coffee maker.
- 4/5
There were a couple of kids unattended in the swimming pool, and there was a lady just sitting in her car for hours, with the door open and her feet on the ground. What was up with that?
- 3/5
The air-conditioning thermostat did not work well so we were either freezing or hot all night. There was an underlying smell of smoke that got stronger as the night went on. What I texted to the customer service in the morning: Someone has definitely been smoking in this room. Allergies kept me awake for most of the night. They replied: Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We're sorry to hear that you've experienced discomfort during your stay. I understand how allergies can be difficult, especially when traveling. Our team is committed to ensuring a pleasant environment for all of our guests, and we take concerns about smoking very seriously. When you checked in yesterday afternoon, the room was thoroughly inspected, and no signs of smoke or any unusual order were detected. Additionally, our supervisor did not report any concerns about the room from the previous guest, which suggests there was no apparent smoke at that time. If there had been a noticeable smell, we would have expected it to be brought to our attention right away. We're always happy to assist guests with room changes or address any issues as soon as they arise. In order to smell smoke that has settled into the carpet, someone has to spend more time than just a quick inspection and cleaning products will mask the smell for housekeeping. The smell got stronger as the night went on. All our friends who live near the Scotts Valley location said they would never stay here, we should have listened.
- 3/5
Will not return.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
Was well maintained and clean in a relatively quiet area. Nice pool and jacuzzi
- 5/5
It was right off the freeway
- 5/5
Very nice place
- 1/5
The bed was so bad it made my back hurt and when I went to use the hot tub to help with my back, it was like warm. Continental breakfast experience was poor, not stocked and couldn’t find utensils. Customer service needs improvement. I was told the manager is rarely on property. When I finally spoke with her, she was dismissive and condescending. I will NEVER come back to this property. I’ll be posting negative reviews and letting everyone know about my horrible experience. This was a family emergency and all I needed was a comfortable place to lay my head with working amenities. I paid over $600 for 2 nights and ended up with a few hours of sleep each night, back pain, overall worst experience traveling and I don’t think that’s acceptable.
- 5/5
Great bed!
- 5/5
The location was great. It was close to the beach and forest. It was quiet.
- 5/5
Thanks
- 5/5
This was a great stay for us. Very comfortable and we felt safe. Perfect if you’re traveling with a dog!
- 5/5
VERY NICE HOTEL! VERY KIND AND PROFESSIONAL FRONT DESK STAFF, ESPECIALLY ADRIAN.
- 5/5
HE IS THE MODEL EMPLOYEE THAT A HOTEL NEEDS, ESPECIALLY DURING A BUSY TIME WHEN MULTITASKING IS NECESSARY!! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! VERY NICE BEST WESTERN HOTEL. I WILL BE BACK!
- 4/5
Beautiful area, room was fine. It gave what it needed to give 🌲🌊 love Scott’s Valley and Santa Cruz.
- 3/5
Very nice lobby, staff was polite and accommodating. Beds are comfortable, the room was clean. Breakfast was good with waffles, eggs, bacon potatoes, oatmeal, fruit, and yogurt available. The only thing I absolutely was turned off by was dirt hot tub. There was a thick film of dirt and scum on the tiles and water was mirky.
- 4/5
Great customer service
- 5/5
It was wonderful, besides a car accident that happened in the parking lot.
- 3/5
The room was ok. Nothing great. Outdated and the parking is tight. Staff was friendly
- 3/5
There weren't enough blankets! Yes, there was an AC/ Heater but with people's different sleeping temps, actual warm blankets (not just sheets) are needed... and I don't want to have to call down in the middle of the night for them. Blankets should just... be included.
- 3/5
room was right next to laundry room, noises early morning of laundry carts going in and out.
- 4/5
All the staff was great! Adrian was very helpful getting my two rooms together. Only complaint is their shower items are micro mini size. Bring your own is my recommendation.
- 2/5
That was very uncomfortable. Everything inside of the unit was outdated, and the carpet was all and Moody smell, even after changing rooms.
- 2/5
Dirty carpet in the room smelly due to a broken mini refrigerator .
- 4/5
Clean, comfortable. Basic breakfast.
- 3/5
Our stay was ok though we had a problem with the shower nozzle missing in the bathroom making it difficult to use with the water blasting out of the pipe in the wall. However, the staff had it repaired by the second day of our stay. The complimentary breakfast choices were a bit limited and egg a cheese dish they had wasn’t very good.
- 3/5
For the price expected a more updated hotel but otherwise adequate accommodations for the hotel chain.
- 4/5
The room was clean and spacious. The bed was hard. There are no hooks close to the shower to hold your towel. The breakfast was good, but the coffee machine was horrible. Coffee tasted like instant coffee. The room had a Keurig and coffee pods provided were excellent
- 5/5
Good
- 3/5
Bed was comfortable, but the toilet would run evey 40 minutes.
- 5/5
This is our second time staying at this property. Rooms are clean and well equipped with microwaves and mini-fridges. Breakfast goes all out with savory and sweet options. This property is in a quiet area but within driving distance to downtown Santa Cruz and all its attractions. Will be back soon!
- 2/5
However, the room was missing/had broken items on arrival (remote control for tv, hair dryer, hand soap) and the walls and floor are paper thin apparently. We received a complaint from a neighbor about noise after walking quietly from the bed to the desk area- I didn’t like that a neighbor could call our room directly. Overall we would have been very happy if the room was 1/2 the price, but as priced was disappointing.
- 2/5
Wi-Fi is a huge factor in choosing where I stay and the Wi-Fi was not working during my 6 night stay. Parking was also limited so I had to park on the streets one night and squeeze into the last space another night.
- 5/5
Took the grandchildren 13,7,2 for a stay while we did mystery spot, roaring camp, small hikes, etc. Pool was clean and comfortable. Came back after a long day hiking and beach and asked the front desk for extra shampoo and conditioner. They brought to our room. Only thing that was a bit bothersome was we had a running toilet in our room, otherwise clean , comfy and did the job. Breakfast was reasonable for free.
- 1/5
There was a lot of homeless stay here and the rooms smelled so bad . I will not stay again .
- 5/5
Nice quiet location. Close to boardwalk and downtown. Friendly staff.
- 4/5
Always like staying at this best western plus rooms are clean beds are comfortable and the pool and hot tube are a nice perk, not to mention the continental breakfast Is not to bad either.
- 5/5
Great Stay
- 2/5
We did not enjoy our stay WAY OVER priced for having no extra towels , blankets , pillows, body wash etc when asked they tell you they have no extras. Also 2 of the outlets did not work and the little refrigerator was hardly cold and we had to throw our milk and food out . Also there were ALOT of ants on the floor and crawling up the wall. REALLY disappointed because we paid almost 330 for 1 night stay . If i could give it no stars i would .
- 4/5
Everything was great except parking spots are very tight.
- 3/5
The place
- 4/5
No fan in bathroom , shower head was mediocre, tv control was impossible to figure out. Mattress was hard and springy.

I expected better customer service for what we paid. We will not be staying at a Best Western again.

parking is not so good to tight

There were quite a few fragrant plants around the property. The facility is clean and lots of natural light. Our room was spacious and clean. The bedding was comfortable. Enjoyed the morning complimentary breakfast. the breakfast area was also spacious.

Everyone was nice, the room was clean, parking is a lil tight but not a big deal. The only thing was that the toilet ran all night, like the water in the toilet and it was so loud…made it hard to sleep. The pool was nice but the hot tub looked discolored. The walls of the hot tub were dirty, maybe thats why. But overall safe and quiet… all ok for the price.

Wish the pool was open a little later.

There was only 2 Kleenex’s in the Kleenex box. No extra box. Air conditioning was not on in the room when we arrived. Room was very hot. We kept the door open for awhile so room could cool off.

Cleanliness is very important to me. The room was clean and comfortable. I have noticed in some hotels that the AC unit dehumidifies the room leaving my throat and nose dry. Didn't have that problem here even though I ran the AC unit all night.

The Property was Okay, But I was charged To much on Days 2 & 3--as I was told the Price including TAX would be $139 a Day!- I Was charged $632.84,but total Should of been around $556!- I'm a 100% Disabled VETERAN of the UNITED States of America-Not Just of OKLAHOMA,I Live In Okla.,But My card shows that I'm 100% DISABLED for USA!-I'm TAX Exemption For USA!

Nice hotel and friendly staff. So nice I will rebook next month for family visit ☺️

No hassles. The room is a bit outdated, but fine.

Though I was on the ground floor, there were a lot of short steps that made maneuvering difficult for my arthritic knees. I was able to figure out how to maneuver around the steps before I left.

This older style motel has been modernized with a pleasant check in area and breakfast room. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed, including an iron and ironing board, useful since we were going to a wedding! Breakfast was included, with plenty of self service options.
- 4/5
The rooms where clean the pool and hot tube where nice and it was an easy on and off the freeway location. The dinning close by wasn’t to bad either I enjoyed the sushi just down the street from the motel I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to a friend

I booked thinking this was one of the better hotels in the area and stayed with my girlfriend. We realized quickly that this was more of a Motel. The room was stuffy with no way to open windows, there were questionable clientele coming in and out through all hours of the night. The jacuzzi and pool were surrounded by all the rooms that could look out at you vs. being private. Zero chance at a good view. Just the main road nearby and a gas station. I tried to cancel my second night and was checked out by 11am, but they were firm on charging me for the second night, despite having most of their rooms vacant and the bad experience. Not much good to report here folks, but this is what you get for over $160 a night in this economy. Bad times.

The property itself is very old and worn down. Everything is loud, the plumbing the wall air unit. It was clean. The person that checked me in was very professional and friendly, but the overall quality and condition of the property is a three star at best I walked around from there. There were a couple Fast food restaurants and a convenience store nearby but that’s it unless you wanna drive. . I am not sure where the plus part of the title of the property falls into place.

It was easy to get to all the places that we needed to get to the service was great but people at the desk were very friendly and the breakfast is very good and we thank you

Nice and clean

For an older property it is very well kept up. No USB slots in the room and the shower room and the toilet itself it's extremely small. Other than that it was an excellent stay. Excellent hotel good service. A better selection of breakfast items would have been good. But the coffee machine was awesome.

Trash in the trash can, and what appeared to be blood smeared on the bathroom door.

The bed was a bit firm, bathroom fan is a bit loud, the room gets stuffy and is hard to air out. The windows were unable to be opened. Quality of the breakfast food needs improvement. Also, a heated pool would have been nice for the kids. Last thing was the landscape cleaners, who blew dirt and dust all over my car. That was not very nice.

Breakfast excellent.

Buffet food was still half way frozen almost every day. We stayed 7 days

The check in was delayed because Hotels.com didn't inform Best Western that the reservation was changed...so they had to contact you and that took quite a while, but Best Western decided not to wait and checked me in.

Holiday for 1 week. Only problem I had was the chain fell off the toilet flapper valve on day 1 so I had to fix that.

Topless women in pool with families passing by. Bad environment.

Was a great experience, very quite and peaceful.

Overall my stay was good. Only problem was parking due to contactors taking up alot of the spots with their trailers.

A good value for the money

Small parking area, small pool and spa, room was very musty smelling.

I like the hot tub. It's always clean and it's always hot. They have always had a good breakfast there. But I noticed that it's gone downhill a in the last couple of years
- 5/5
I like staying at this Best Western because it's convenient m, next to the freeway, yet quiet. The reception people are always friendly & helpful. They offer a hot breakfast which includes yogurt & muffins & waffles. It’s a goos deal for the money. My only complaint is there are no recycling bins on property & this is California people. Get with it

We were surprised that no extra pillows were available and wished we had brought are own. The ones on the bed were very small and soft. The room was a decent size, and it was chosen because the hotel is dog friendly. I found a couple of long human hairs which had been missed but otherwise seemed ok.

We had a very relaxing time. The hotel was between Santa Cruz and Felton. A lot to do in the three areas. The hot tub was very clean and felt great. We will be coming back.
- 5/5
Really enjoyed the hot tub and the hospitality from the employees.
- 4/5
The staff was accommodating and very friand the hot tub is really nice.I would recommend this if you want to relax

We were not informed that there wold be no housekeeping service. Towels were coarse and uncomfortable. There was a dreadful stench permeating the front desk area (this has been persistent over the past year). Nonfunctioning hot beverage machine for breakfast and the buffet was not appealing.
- 3/5
The room smelled of cleaning. It was heavy and present all night. Hard to sleep. It was not the bed or linen. It was the floors.
- 4/5
Everything was fine except that there was no luggage cart available.
- 4/5
We stayed 2 nights. The location is good, close to lots of things to do. The hot tub was very relaxing. The breakfast could have been better-too many carbs and sweets, and eggs were not good. Overall, it was a decent price for a clean room and fairly comfy bed. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This hotel is as okay for the price. It was also conveniently located for us. The property itself was somewhat lacking. It’s basically an upgraded version of a cheaper motel. The rooms are very small if there are two queen beds. The bathroom is also very small. It would also be great if there was some sort of nightlight or small lamp because it was very dark in the room at night, making it hard to get to the bathroom. The fan in the bathroom was very loud and came on with the light so we would disturb each other in the night. The shower handle was also a bit broken in our room. They do have a nice pet area that our dog liked!

This is a great location right next to SR17, right off and on to the highway. I could not hear the highway at all. The room was spacious, well kept, and clean. I would stay again. The pool area is nice, and the staff is very friendly and professional.
- 5/5
I was very happy that my room was clean & comfortable! I have stayed here before & not always was happy with the condition. I think they are trying harder to keep the rooms cleaner. The water was hot immediately which wasn’t the case at other places I have stayed. The breakfast had eggs, sausage & potatoes as well as muffins, fruit & cereal. The front desk clerk was friendly & helpful

Been here many times over many years. Free parking.

It was a quick trip. The property was clean and my room was very comfortable. I enjoyed the coffee machine in the lobby.
