Lack of restaurant within the hotel premises, although there are quite a few nearby. A hot meal served without leaving the premises adds a lot of comfort to the stay

When we arrived at the hotel there were random bugs in the hallways and the sheets had blood on them. The conditioner was out in the shower. They charge a lot for parking, which is a huge set back. I saw a sign that there is a remodel happening this summer, which is much needed! I used to stay here a lot, but I won't be staying here again until after the remodel happens!

The property is scheduled for a refresh summer of '26. I loved the location near Promemade and freeway. Staff was great, very friendly and helpful. We had a couple issues that were immediately resolved. I would stay again and feel the refresh is timely.

I really like the location when visiting family nearby.. The bed was comfortable. I didn't like the AC Unit, it was noisy & they need to upgrade them, they're very noisy and loud... The room location we got was right outside of the elevators so besides the AC being noisy we had outside noise to deal with... I really didn't like they service the room every other day as I like to get clean towels and clean bed sheets daily like at home...

The staff were great, the pool area was lovely and the balcony was appreciated. Breakfast is not included and there are no microwaves in the rooms. There is a microwave in the foyer that can be used. Parking is at a cost.

Pool was nice and good space to gather people together and hang out. Our fire alarm did start beeping in the middle of the night and they had to come remove it. I would have liked them to offer some sort of credit for the inconvenience. My son and I were getting up early for a game and we were tired.

Easy check in. Very clean. We just needed a quick room after a late flight, before we left in the AM for Sedona. Perfect for this. Good area to do some quick shopping before you head up that way as well.

Amazing from top to bottom!!! Scottsdale was such an amazing experience!! The amazing individual that works the Starbucks (shame on me for forgetting her name because she told me right before leaving) but give her a raise…. She’s phenomenal!! The staff was excellent. Everyone I interacted with was very, very nice and helpful. The hotel was clean, ice maker was conveniently located, hallways were clean and attractive, bed and bedding were comfortable, and rooms were quiet (no noise from adjacent rooms through the walls). Extremely convenient to the places I needed to go. Would recommend this hotel to others.

Secondly, the cookies were so good, and the outside is just gorgeous. The rooms though, are outdated. Black stuff is in the corners of the walls, and it looks disgusting. The showers are outdated. The linens and towels smell so stale. The floors are so nasty (ewww, just get a mop). It was a lysol spraying time. I honestly wouldn't recommend this hotel. Get upgrades and cleanliness please! I want to rate on Google, but the staff was so nice, that I don't want to do the hotel like that. Please do better.

The property itself is average. The rooms were spacious, but interior was dated and in need of repairs and paint. Showers and bathroom fixtures were old and vanity was extremely narrow. Staff was friendly and good amenities on-site. Cafe and bar looked nice. Food and coffee at the cafe was really good. Did not have anything from the bar.

Room faced the main road and couldn’t sleep due to constant noise.

Overall, it was a great experience.

Check in was easy. One guest was going to arrive late. His check in was great as well.

Good location The room was sparse, to say the least. No rug, no bathroom fan, lousy tv, noisey aircondtioner. The breakfast was Starbucks, which I don't particularly like. Most hotels at that expense level have a buffet breakfast where there are more choices for what to eat.

Breakfast such a really poor quality

At first no hair dryer - had to go to front desk to get one. One of the electrical outlets (by the bed) did not work. Informed the front desk.

This hotel

Has my service dog with me. I called in advanced and they still charged me a “pet fee” AFTER I was there do days! Worst management and illegal discrimination for a service animal! And the staff kept asking for registration which is against the ADA laws. No damage was done to the room and I even cleaned it myself before housekeeping.

The coffee was not good. The workers did a great job. We booked our stay here because it was close to were my conference was and this hotel had a bar and restaurant. The restaurant was closed two of the days because you had no staff and the bar was closed Valentine’s Day because you had no staff. We could have stayed somewhere else for less money and got the same amenities. Very disappointed one of the main reasons for booking there and definitely didn’t get our moneys worth.

I don't mind people traveling with the children but there should have been more supervision or hotel staff restricting the kids running up and down the hallways

The hotel was definitely dated and could use some upgrading/remodeling. The shower did not work well with much of the water going out of the bath spigot instead of the shower head. I had a room on the third floor overlooking the pool and the traffic noise was horrible. It was so loud it sounded like the window was open to the street.

COming back to the room we found the room with no fresh towels nor anything else cleaned in the bathroom or shower. 2 hours afte request fresh towels had to call again and the reply was sorry we sent it to the wrong room - well there is a room ID on call calls to the reception. On requesting for a late check out a very stern NO , 11am is your check out time. Not to mention a small cup of house coffee costs $4.5 - go starbucks you have competition

FANTASTIC WELCOME BY SAIRA AT THE FRONT DESK.. AND MY ENTIRE STAY AT THE HOTEL REMAINED ON THAT AMAZING AND PROFESSIONAL LEVEL! I WILL DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN!

The room was nice but awkward. The windows offered no sound proofing at all you could hear everything happening at the pool especially in the evenings as it cooled off. Kids were at the pool swimming until after 11pm. The front door also didn't offer an sound proofing, you can hear full conversations happening in the hallway as people passed by. Our sink/vanity area, the towel holder was about to fall off the wall (the drywall was coming off around the attempted repair). The TV was oddly half shaded (like someone had maybe punched it or it had fallen) the top half of the TV was dark and the bottom was bright. Weird right!

Pay to park??? It’s a regular lot and I already spent enough for the room. Guests of the hotel should be free but charge their friends. Pillows were great and bed comfortable. Elevator was way down the hall, should be by the lobby.

Booked 2 rooms by the pool only got 1 . Musky smell told we would get Marriott points because of smell and for not getting pool side rooms not happy

I had no less than five crickets in my room, and the shower wall is filthy. The ceiling looks like it was leaking, and it had just been painted over, and it appears as though there is mold or mildew on the bottom of the door frame.

There is a 1/8” gap between the door and drain track and adjoining wall. You can literally see the water drain into the wall. Marriott makes a marginal effort to cover the problem with putty and caulking but the damage is horribly obvious. I often stay in Marriott hotels but will definitely not stay in this hotel ever again. Enough said.

The property was conveniently located but there is nothing special about it. I did not like the narrow hallways and tight squeeze in the elevator. Could barely fit the luggage trolly. Had to pay additionally for parking and they charged us extra after our stay without telling us why.

This hotel was amazing. The staff at the front desk was always so friendly and nice and everyone made us feel so welcome. I wish the bistro was open for lunch but other than that our stay was awesome. My kids loved the hotel too. Mainly the staff made it so enjoyable

Not sure why you need to pay for parking, not a busy area at all. There was a huge web on the cealing above the couch scared of spiders, so we had to flip couch to see if there was webs/spiders underneath, looked through curtains for spiders as well. Underneath the couch was filthy like no one sweeps under there and spill marks on floor. The single chair and couch had stains and table didn't look wiped and when we wiped it, the clorox wipe was dirty. Housekeeping entered the room early in the morning on the day of check out while we were still sleeping. Usually trust Marriott facilities but not a good experience. Thought because it was in Scottsdale, thought it would be very nice.

I give it two stars because when I booked on exoedia it said X amount for four nights and when I checked out it was Y. This is not a high dollar a night property in quality and it was extremely expensive with about twenty percent hidden costs on Expedia or it cost me that much more than Expedia showed. I got gauged big time so it’s extremely irritating and I won’t stay again or boom with Expedia again

Comfortable accommodation

The bed was horrible. Probably the most uncomfortable we’ve stayed in a long while. We also had some unruly neighbors that weee obnoxiously loud until midnight…I don’t blame the young female workers for not addressing it as the culprits were young adult men that were not a group I would want my daughter approaching either. In all honestly the police should have been brought into the situation as they ended up in a fight in the hallway just before they finally calmed down. Again, not the hotels fault for people that have no common sense but there should be some protocol for that type of behavior. Bottom line, this brand is normally pretty good but the mattresses and pillows have seen better days. We would never suggest anyone stay there until the hotel makes some improvements.

Thursday night with Kelsey was absolutely a blast with many people hanging out talking it up. The hotel parking lot was full all 4 nights I stayed there but a different experience each night.

The hotel is fine, though overpriced.

It felt like an old property. Th bathroom had mold in it and it was just not what I expected. I often stay in Courtyard Marriotts and they are typically much nicer.

Just a basic hotel. Nothing outstanding, just ordinary. The mattress dipped in the middle and the tv selection could be better. If you are looking for the most basic hotel, this is it!

Very pleasant stay. It was comfortable and rather clean. I like the Starbucks shop too. I would recommend not putting towels on the toilet seat though. It's not hygiene. Also, have flat pillows as well.

Place was clean, bed comfortable, staff friendly. Tiny ants in shower and sink not good. I was charged for a Market purchase which I did not make. I called hotel and they removed charge with no issues. I would stay again.

Very spacious room and great location for everything North Scottsdale. No one walks in Arizona, so even there there are restaurants walking distance, you have to drive everywhere.

It was very pleasant stay from the begining to the end - staff was very friendly and helpful, hotel is in good condition inside out and is very clean and rather comfy. Parking is not a problem, location is great also. The only reason I'm not giving full 5* is because soundproofing could be better(my room 357 was facing the main road and it was rather noisy so it may be not suitable for those who can be woken up easily) and the sliding door to the balcony could not be locked(locking mechanism was loose). But I will stay again when next time in Scottsdale because it is a good place with nice people.

We had a rough day and when we checked in Kimberly was the best, she turned a bad day into a good one, she was so sweet I haven't seen good customer service like that in a long time. She is a diamond in the desert I give her 10 stars

Atmosphere was very comfortable and clean. I stay at Courtyard because it is close to Mayo Clinic. If I could get room close to the elevator, it would be very accommodating.

Melissa at check in was friendly everytime I went by the desk. Friends used the pool and were very happy with it. The coffee supplied with in-room coffee potwas smooth tasting. So unusual for hotel coffee

We were not told there was a parking fee until I received a receipt. It’s not a busy area nor is there a shortage of parking in the several attached parking lots. It’s not a downtown or airport location either. We even questioned the front desk when she asked us to put a parking pass in our car. She just said they required it no mention of a fee. We checked in at 10 pm and were gone by 8 am. I am not happy. Might not stay at a Marriott property after this because we just started a night near the Airport Hilton Garden for the 2nd time this year with out having to pay to park.

However, the rooms had a weird musty smell to them. It penetrated the room and it would hit you when you walked in.
