Hilton Vacation Club Scottsdale Links Resort

Great property for families that don’t want to be coupled up in a single hotel room. Our unit was clean and spacious. The pool was also nice and well maintained. The only bummer is that our patio faced the back parking lot (but that’s just what it is). The staff were amazing, and super helpful. They reached out to see if we needed anything several times… and also offered to help my husband when they saw him fixing a minor car issue. I would definitely stay there again.

Big spacious suite and nice fitness center and pool

Pool was nice, location was great. Staff was very communicative and helpful Units were a bit dated and we didn't like being on the 3rd floor with no elevator. Our bags were very heavy and taking them up and down 3 flights of steps was no fun.

Beautiful property and location to TPC golf courses. The only negative is the sell to join Hilton’s Timeshare. Didn’t realize this is what we stepped into until arrived. Not necessary for the basic traveler that books using Expedia.

Wifi was a bit weak on the property, causing delays in streaming, or not streaming at all. However, the property and amenities made up for that. Very much enjoyed & will stay again.

I want to give a big shout out to all of staff at Hilton Resort! We arrived early so we asked if we could check in early which they had no problem with. Our room...OH MY GOSH....our room was not what we expected seriously! It was a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom (full size), kitchen, dining room, living room, 2 closets, full washer & dryer, and outside sitting area. Full size stove, full size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, silverware, coffee maker. The staff messaged us (not in an annoying way) daily just to check on us. If we needed anything they were right there to fix something or answer questions. The property is beautiful. The pools are spotless along with everything else on the property.

Loved having a full kitchen and a washer & dryer in the unit, especially after my husband & 3 kids went ATV'ing in the desert!! Great location, clean & roomy for our family of 5.

Wonderful amenities, kitchen had everything we needed, pool beautiful. Only down side was that most balconies look over parking lot and streaming on the wifi was extremely slow with multiple pauses. However, overall, wonderful stay at a beautiful property.

No elevators

We have been here many times. They never seem able to reserve an apartment as requested, lower floor, golf course side etc. They also do not seem to care, even after coming here 4 years and 4 times per year. We like the location and large size and accept that pool etc is very basic. We may start looking at Sheraton which is close by.

I love the unit we stayed in. It was so spacious and having a washer and dryer is essential. The staff was so kind about extra blankets even offering an additional blanket be brought up to the unit. Thank you.

The place is well maintained.

Property was great for the weekend. Kids loved the pool and the proximity to our events was amazing. Only issue was the dryer would not dry the clothes, but the arizona heat did.

Very nice room; spacious and conducive for my living needs. But I wasn’t made aware that the buildings didn’t have elevators. I was put on the 3rd floor, which was horrible for my knees.

We arrived a little early to check- in and they said the room wasn’t ready. They said maybe about 15 minutes to half an hour for inspection. No problem. However, it took an hour, and the room was not inspected. Countertops in kitchen dirty, even sticky, dusty end tables in all rooms and what we thought were either towels or linens left in the spare bathroom sink, turned out to be the shower curtains for the spare bathroom and the master bathroom. In truth, we have never in all of the 20+ years staying at the Links, ever had a problem with a room not clean or well inspected. Usually it’s always at least well cared for. Staff was kind. I know it will be better the next stay.

This resort was tucked away outside of town in a more industrial area but was close to a freeway that connects to the city and basic shopping. The condo was well kept and plenty spacious for two, with basic items in the kitchen to allow for cooking instead of eating out (paper towels, soap, pans, utensils, etc.). The property was immaculate, well lit, and was next to a golf course. My only negative was the check-in- there were two sets of staff, one for the resort and another for upselling. The process was annoying, after traveling all day, who wants to be bombarded with a salesperson at the place that you expect to find rest?! If I knew ahead of time they would be there, I would have kindly said "no thanks" instead of wasting time listening to a pitch. I can imagine choosing the resort again in the future if circumstances were right, due to the cleanliness, access to freeways, and low cost, but the salespeople definitely left a sour taste in my mouth.

Room was in excellent condition, very clean and very well stocked with kitchen appliances, cookware, service ware and very good washer and dryer.

Very clean, and one quick call to front desk will have fresh towels / sheets / etc requested right to your door within minutes. The pool was clean and perfect size to hold all the spring breakers! This well maintained resort was pure luxury. We used the laundry amenities, cooked meals with a fully stocked kitchen, and were very comfortable (family of 4 with 2 kids ages 10&11). We will be back - it was a hard place to leave. No complaints, as this place does not disappoint.

Spacious apartment good location for us North Scottsdale, 20 minutes from downtown but close to West Kierland which is nice. We are returning customers and always ask for ground floor but seldom seem to get that. The interior of the apartment is ok but outdated.

Very clean and large two bedroom apartments with everything that you could need. The large swimming pool, playground and outside toys were a huge plus. Love the barbecue areas and hammocks.too Close to everything, malls, restaurants, and golfing. Will definitely stay here again.

The room we stayed in had two bedrooms, two baths, living area, kitchen, and dining and was very nice and clean. It had dishes, washer and dryer etc. staff was friendly, check-in and checkout was easy. I would highly recommend staying here.

The resort was very nice and staff is very helpful. Didn't realize the amount of planes that fly right over the resort to land. One right after the other. So it's not a quiet place. Pools are great and lots of bbq's to cook on. Would be nice to have more dishes in the room. But overall it was perfect for our needs. Just couldn't sleep well with the planes.

Our bed was not great. Super squishy. I slept in a hole. And spouse didn't like it either. The water pressure for shower was low. The couch was super itchy and not comfortable. It was clean. But hubby had to tighten the toilet seat.

We loved our 4 day stay. Very clean and comfortable. The in unit laundry was a nice surprise. Great location to golf, restaurants and shopping. Pool areas and other amenities were very well kept. Super friendly staff! Plenty of parking. Highly recommend for a stay in Scottsdale.

This was a beautiful place to stay. The kitchen was fully equipped with items suitable for cooking. The property was clean and the staff was wonderful. The only comment I would like to make is there are no elevators. We were on the 3rd floor. The staff did say we could get a bottom floor room if this was an issue. We chose not to move to the bottom floor. Dragging my luggage up the stairs was it bit much. Also I would like to note there was a staff member that offered to haul my luggage up the stairs but me being stupid said no I got this. The place is wonderful and I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Hot tub was not as warm only the adult pool hottub. Roaches were in the hot tub areas at night. Tv's need to be updated cant even see the screens when tv is on. Coffee pot didnt work. We rented 10 rooms some disnt even have cooking stuff. Also no griilling utensils which you should provide for your people since we pay so much money there.

Such an ideal spot for a small family. Kitchens are basic, but have essentials, pool is awesome, fun amenities like a playground, pingpong table, and grills, and when we complained about noise by the highway, they moved our room to a different building. Also a decent convenient store, and multiple restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay there again!

This was my second year staying here and it won't be my last. This place is one block from where I come to work, the rooms are big with a full kitchen, and the staff is awesome. I'll be back.

How clean the premises and room were. The mattress in our room was quite uncomfortable, and we experienced significant noise on one side of the bed whenever my partner entered or exited it. I brought this to the attention of the staff, but unfortunately, no resolution was provided. Additionally, the bathroom door was sticking and made a considerable amount of noise when closed, prompting me to request maintenance. A technician arrived and attempted to fix it, but it proved unfixable. The worker mentioned that the building is scheduled for renovation soon, which, while informative, did not resolve our immediate issue. I also requested an extra blanket and was informed it would be sent, but it did not arrive until the day before our departure. All three TVs did not work properly the internet would freeze just watching local channels it was impossible, that did not get resolved. All of our communications were conducted via text message. When I inquired about potential compensation from the hotel, the individual I spoke with seemed to perceive my request as an attempt to receive all four nights free. I was hoping for at least one night's compensation, but this was not granted. I believe there should be a clear policy for compensation when guests encounter issues within their rooms. I paid the full price for my stay, yet I feel I did not receive the value I expected, and I am quite dissatisfied with the experience. While I have stayed at this establishment multiple times in the past, I am now uncertain if I will choose to do so again. So many issues and none were resolved. The more I think about it, I will not be staying there.

Floors in room were also dirty, if you were barefoot your feet turned black.

We stayed here for a soccer tournament and I will recommend and return. Perfect location for the 2 fields we were playing at. We had 7 people in our 3 bedroom unit and it had everything we needed. The grounds were very clean, the gym was perfect for our workouts and the pool waw a great place to relax. It was quiet and well-maintained.

Had a 3 bedroom- loved the space and the big balcony. We were suprised there was laundry in suite. The games were good and in good condition. Pool was nice, they had an adults only pool too. One thing I wish they had was a restaurant but did have a tiny convenience store with some food and alcohol. Also wish there were couple more baking sheets for the oven we just had one small one. Clean, friendly, would stay again.

The grounds aren’t lush, but well maintained. This is not a fancy resort property but right off the freeway so convenient to everything. It’s is an office park area, not a residential area.

Place is awesome. It was tied to a time share presentation for us, but the resort itself it very nice. Rooms were huge!

Our room was large and fairly quiet, but we felt that the carpets could use a deep clean (our socks were filthy after walking around on it). We also felt that a “vacation club” should offer an on-site dining/bar option. I guess I had just assumed that the resort had that and was disappointed that it did not. Everything comes with trade-offs. Overall, it was a nice place.

This Hilton property is located in one of the most upscale Scottsdale areas. However the check in process was the reason for the 3 stars. It is staffed by "time-share" high pressure personalities who were efficient enough at checking you in but kept insisting on taking the 90 minute presentation. We wanted to get to our condo and rest as we had flown in that day not be coerced into having to defend our answer of "no" to the presentation offer. It was not pleasant at all and beneath what the Hilton brand stands for. Thank you!

Very large pool with plenty of room for all ages to enjoy. Hot tubs are near pool and quite a walk from our room. There was a nice adult pool and hot tub for a quiet place.

Convenient location

Worst bed I have ever tried to sleep in. Both myself and my wife had aches and pains from the worst mattress ever, Did not get much sleep. Tv was on dish satellite and picture was terrible. Could hardly see what was going on many times during the course of the tv show. Condo was poorly designed with small living room, but large dining room and large laundry room and a very large walk-in closet Why??? Near airport and planes flew over ever few minutes. Sat. nite nearby road sounded like a raceway for local teens. Not quiet area

We stayed a week in a 1 bedroom which was extremely spacious, well maintained and clean. The facilities were very clean as well and the gym and adult only pool was a pleasant surprise. The family friendly pool was awesome as well. A great location to Scottsdale Quarter and the 101.

The accommodations were very comfortable and clean upon arrival. AC worked well, which was a blessing during the 30+ degree heat wave that is not typical in Scottsdale's late February time of year. Access to a full washer and dryer was a very welcome bonus and helped with cleaning up after long bicycle rides around Scottsdale and neighbouring towns. The concierge service was appreciated and special mention goes to Kyle who did a great job providing useful suggestions. All good. Neighbouring property, Marriot, was a good alternative to Hilton's missing food and beverage services and was a useful recommendation from the concierge team.

Could not recommend this resort enough especially one’s traveling with families or are heading to the Phoenix open. It was in a perfect location, had a full size kitchen and so many fun things to do for kids.

The resort was easy to find and the front desk staff were very welcoming and pleasant. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the pools looked great (although I never tried them out). I did experience difficulty with a strange noise that occurred at random times. I was not in the room during the day, but every few hours during the night a loud, high-pitched noise would happen which lasted for 2-3 seconds and then stop. Needless to say I had 3 very interrupted nights of sleep. I told the front desk and they sent someone to investigate, but the noise continued. Even after I told them the noise was coming from the refrigerator, there was nothing done to fix the problem (like move me to another room?). There were areas of the room that were less than stellar in cleanliness (the rugs, refrigerator, floors). Overall I was impressed by the grounds and the room was ok, but the middle of the night noises were unacceptable.

Staff was robotic except for timeshare guy who offered me a map of Scottsdale, which I was grateful for, but then relentless for next fifteen minutes trying to get me to change my plans when I was only there for conference. Carpeting in walk-in closet smelled like vomit, fortunately I could close the door and put a towel under it. Not typical of my stays at Hilton, but this place needs some help, I checked out the next morning.

Beautiful facility with two great swimming pools and huge fire pit. The suites are very nice. They may need a little updating, but are in a fabulous location and very clean.

The room was fine, but there was a huge party that lasted until 1AM or 2AM in the morning below me and it was hosted by the hotel hospitality team. My room was literally vibrating and it was hard to sleep.

This is a great, older resort. The upkeep has been sparse and the rooms are well “used”. Two of the windows in our unit wouldn’t close and appeared damaged. The furniture is also pretty worn out. With that being said, the size of the units, pool and gym amenities are wonderful and you can’t really beat the cost overall.

Overall property and workout facilities are well kept and modern.

This resort overall, is very clean, convenient and suits our needs. I do have issue with the ice makers in the refrigerator. It sounds trite but they are super slow to make ice. The main ice machine is great but “wet”and clumps together when placed in the freezer. Also the couches are very uncomfortable and the units need upgrading. All that said, the facility is what we need for our visit.

The place is not new with old furnitures adequately maintained. Overall experience is good.

Staff was great! Clean room, good parking. My only concern is that we come up for medical treatment at Mayo and never can use the resort facilities but are charged for them. Other than that it’s a great place but it’s really the people that make it that way!

The units are dated, and the decor is mediocre. This is not a particularly high end property, but the price was right and a good value particularly given the size of the units, which were spacious.

When you check in, the staff will attempt to get to sit through timeshare presentation. They are very persistent and made offers of a gift card and free vacation. Other than feeling pressured by staff, it was a decent stay. The grounds were ok, options for putting, playing shuffleboard, pool, ping pong and cornhole.

Wish there were a little more kitchen amenities: pizza pan, broiler pan, containers to store leftover foods when cooking at the room; but I also understand if these were available, there are those who will take things home with them...

Always a comfortable place to stay while in Arizona. Their two bedroom units are large and feel like home.

This resort was perfect! We had plenty of space, the pool was nice, loved the grills and fire pit, etc. the pool was perfectly warm allowing our 3 kids to swim regardless of the temperature. We loved the location as it was quiet and close to some beautiful hiking.

Location has a lot to be desired. There is an airport right next to the resort which was right out our door. You have to listen to jets taking off and landing all day and night. When we inquired about it, we were dismissed by the staff saying, “Oh, it’s only a small private airport that’s not too busy.” Total BS! We were in building 8, third floor. Another down side is that you have to lug all your heavy suitcases and supplies up and down the stairs. Luckily we are in shape and capable. Bottom line, I’d pick another resort.

Everything was great!

There are 2 hot tubs. They are clean and a good temperature. The pools are large and clean. We were in a 1 bedroom that had recently been renovated. Everything was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the new pillows are so much nicer than the old ones. Staff is very friendly and attentive to any concerns. Would absolutely recommend this place. If you’re a light sleeper, beware that it is right next to the Scottsdale airport and there is noise from jets landing and taking off.

Beautiful property with lots of amenities including pools, hot tubs, grills, fire pits, ping pong, corn hole, etc. We had a two bedroom, 2 bath, and was perfect for our family. The balconies to "hang" or play cards was so nice! The only downside is there is not any restaurants on site or within walking distance. Otherwise a great place!

Overall my experience at the Hilton vacation club in Scottsdale was excellent. The maintenance workers are courteous and seem to be everywhere. Great pool and hot tub facilities. Excellent fitness center. And great location and easy parking. The only drawback is they did not have a bar or any real food options. They had a small refrigerator to buy some beverages and small items, but that was it. However, overall, it was an excellent experience and comfortable accommodations.

Employees were well trained in the art of hospitality. Super stay!

The unit was very spacious and allowed us to gather as a family. The extra almost $200 resort fee was a surprise not listed on Booking.com, so I was surprised by that when we checked in. We didn’t really use the resort amenities other than the gym.

Highly recommend. Only negative was is it is part of a time share thing and they really tried to get us to a meeting but unfortunately we were busy the whole weekend. Overall I still recommend and will be back if in the area

Beautiful resort and the customer service was fantastic! Our room was clean and had everything we needed. We brought two babies and they got cribs for them and high chairs and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay!

We had a third floor unit with no elevator. They could use a few more kitchen utensils. There was one sauce pan and one small fry pan.

The front and staff here is totally trained unaware of their surroundings and even though I complain to multiple managers, I receive no follow up Although they promote themselves as a links resort, which is literally on a golf course when I asked the front supervisor how to get to the clubhouse, they had literally no idea Poor greeting staff attitude means poor management training, and when management is made aware of it and doesn’t react that means the I don’t care level is way up

I arrived at the hotel extremely late and tired only to find that the receptionist had cancelled my booking as a no show at around 3am. Which actually I can understand. However, the problem was that she then said she could not now give me my room as it had been cancelled. Even when I explained about the flight delays. She initially offered to let me in another room early if I booked for the next night, but there was no availability. This left me with no choice but to try and find another hotel at 4am. The receptionist did call a nearby Marriot hotel on my behalf, which was good, and they had space. I then had to walk over to there at around 4am. The Marriott by contrast were extremely helpful and gave me a free room for the rest of the night after they heard what had happened at the Hilton. I do hope I was not charged for this. It was quite extraordinary, and not in a good way.

The location is very nice and the staff are extremely helpful. When we first arrived there were ants present in our unit but this problem was resolved quickly and we had no further problems during our stay. We would stay again!

All the staff on the property were extremely friendly. Maintenance, housekeeping, landscapers, whoever at the front desk was texting me - All very welcoming and friendly. Apartment was a bit dated but clean and spacious and had more than everything we needed.

No late check out past 11am or courtesy room to shower later in day. We had a late flight departure. Front desk staff rude we were told to shower by pool. We came down to get cabana which stayed first cone and we were told someone else reserved it.

The staff is amazing as always. Whatever we need they make sure it’s there quickly. I would say our unit could have been cleaner. Dusted and counters in kitchen and bathroom definitely should have been wiped off.

The rooms and the entire unit could have been cleaner. Dusty end tables and main dinning room table. Bathroom counters had a sort of film on them. But overall we always stay at the Scottsdale Links and it is a good place to stay.

Air traffic is directly overhead of this place. No on site restaurant or bar. Like a small apartment building in the middle of a business park.

Clean room. Friendly staff. Master/king bed was hard, and the other room's full bed was "springy"-could feel the springs. However, they were replacing all mattresses in our complex when we left the next morning. A/C in master bedroom was not working right. Fan switch on wall didn't work unless the overhead light remained on. We knew how to operate it, because we were successful with the same switch in the living room; so the master bedroom switch had something wrong with it. It was a warm night. Windows in the master bedroom and living room were open and would not close, so hearing the airplanes at the nearby airport in the morning before getting up was quite loud (plus the construction workers outside). The remodel of the room is quite nice, but a tile fell off the baseboard in the kitchen, and some of the outlet and fire sprinkler cutouts were not done well. We still like the Hilton and will continue coming.

Stocked kitchen was good and the multiple rooms are nice. Beds were ok. Pillows are way overstuffed. No elevator. Earliest checkout I’ve ever experienced, especially with 4 check in. Our air conditioner never got the room below 80 so pretty miserable. Woken up at 6 because you can hear every word anyone is saying between the buildings with the windows closed.

The room was excellent. It was only a short stay but would definitely stay there again.

Great apartment style place to stay. Pool was wonderful good channels. Only had an issue with the 90 minute offer to listen to a sales pitch that instead took 3 hours.

Units are more like apartment homes. Very comfortable and fully equipped with washer/dryer in the units. Full kitchen, dining table and more. Very satisfied with what was provided for the price. Excellent bargain.

My only recommendation is a light breakfast bar like muffins or something. Otherwise, great stay!

From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff was friendly & welcoming. The price per night was as affordable as other hotels. The suite was spacious & gave an ‘at home’ feel. The beds were comfortable & the pillows were of great quality. I honestly can’t say enough positive things about this stay. It was worth it.

Staff was always very accommodating, anytime there was an issue they made sure to take care of it asap, when there was a situation with a person acting very inappropriately they promptly responded and that helped me feel I was in a very safe place. Maintenance crew always went above and beyond and they were always very very kind, a couple of the housekeeping gals also went above and beyond and I appreciated that as well.

The push to go to a Hilton Club Vacation club seminar when your checking in. The 1 bedroom suite was were we were staying. Could see in the kitchen that the floors were not clean, could see actual dirt/ mud prints on the tile. There was a big stain on carpet in living room. With known temps in Scottsdale of high 90's- 100's, why would you have a heavy duvet, no flat sheet om bed? Even with air conditioning, the linens made for an uncomfortable sleeping or lack there of. Also the kitchen countertops were all dusty. Yuck!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hilton property, but probably our only complaint would be that the room has a very damp musky smell to it. Had we known in advance we would’ve brought a candle to burn. We understand it’s an older building with old pipes and things like that And overall it appeared clean, but just the smell was a little hard to get past. Other than that, we enjoyed the amenities and the pool and hot tubs were great! We would definitely stay again, but we will be bringing a candle next time.

Love staying at the Scottsdale Links. This time was friendly and easy and we were able to choose which unit to stay in. The only problem this time, the unit was not fresh and clean. And it smelled like an old locker room or unclean pets. Please open up some of these rooms and freshen them even if they aren’t always being used. If the front check in desk offers a choice on which unit to stay in, Customers like us, will choose because we know the property and what units we like. Otherwise do not offer.

The front desk representative literally, and dramatically ripped up my key folder when I shared that the “property accommodations are below my standards.”They did not ask me why or make any BASIC attempt at ANY customer service. Clearly, poor management and or she was potentially embarrassed for working there lol. Hey, this place is fine for people that want to save a buck and feel comfortable bringing their own cooler of drinks to the pool ( IYKYK) :)

This was suppose to be a relaxing staycation. We're never been to a hotel that did things this way and we've been to a lot of upscale hotels. I recommend Hilton give packages out to have their guests look over it instead of having to sign up at the time of check in on whether or not they would like to attend a presentation. Other than that, our was wonderful.

There is nothing I would not recommend about this resort. The staff was amazing, the room was perfect, and the amenities were great. Reed and Reuben went out of their way to help us get settled and answered every question we had about the area. I cannot recommend this place enough.

When we arrived to check in and kick off our staycation, we were immediately approached by someone at front desk, trying to get us to schedule a meeting. Their pushy and hesitant attitude made the situation uncomfortable, especially since we had just gotten there and wanted to relax. We politely declined several times, and by the fifth refusal, it became clear from their expression and demeanor that they were no longer interested in being welcoming. That kind of energy at the start of our stay really set a negative tone and was disappointing.

The location was great and the grounds were nicely kept.

We had a renovated unit which was well laid out and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen and clean. Location was good. Only suggestion is provide some space for groceries in the kitchen.

Staff are really sweet!, Easy parking, not crowded, quiet. The only thing I didn’t like that there was not any room service the whole time we were there to change our sheets and give us new towels we were suprised honestly. Because we never experienced something like that. We had to change our own sheets and towels. They should work on that. Other than that it is a nice peaceful place!

Not so good. We reserved an additional 3 days at this resort and requested the room be restocked and cleaned after being in the room for 7 days. They said they would send housekeeping but never came to fulfill our request. We asked twice. Nothing. Now we’re into our last night here, just disappointed the service wasn’t great! We were also called no less than 4 times in a day regarding going to a timeshare presentation even after I told them we wouldn’t have time. I was interested in additional info, but the only way to get it was to go to the presentation for 90 mins. I’m annoyed by that. Just give me the info and let me make a decision. It seems like they need to try to manipulate me which turns me off to the whole prospect. This hotel is also 3 stories with no elevator. This is okay when it’s not summer and when you are not on the 3rd floor! Pool was nice, rooms were spacious, kitchen set up was a bit strange.

I know they are in the mist of a remodel but there was an excess of dust in our suite. The airport next door made the noise a little much if you are looking for quiet place.

Our 2 bedroom unit was spacious and convenient. Nice patio with table and chairs. Pool area was very nice and we enjoyed. Staff checked in every day to see if we needed anything. Units a little dated but enjoyed overall and would stay there again.
