The hotel was dirty and run down, we arrived at 2am expecting a decent place to stay and it was horrible, but we had no choice, I tried to change hotels and they didn't want to cancel my other 2 night reservation. I tried with hotels.com they didn't want to do anything neither. We had no choice but to sleep in this place for 3 nights

The first room I was in was horrible. It had mold, mildew, and all whatever complained about it and no one done anything. unfortunately, I had to rebook the room that’s when they put me in a different room. TV no telephone or air-conditioning work in either rooms.. on top of all that someone stole my tennis shoes, white Reebok

The price was too high for the water in the shower not to get hot. It had a coffee maker microwave in a refrigerator, but you only can plug up one at a time. Once I took my food out of the refrigerator I had to turn it off just to use the microwave.

Snow and ice not cleared from walkways, especially from parking lot and walkways. Non-smoking room smells like smoke. Bathroom shower/floor very slick, toilet seat, moves sideways, trash in and around outside trash cans not removed daily

I paid 80 dollars for a room with no hot water after working 16 hours. And on top of that your agent was not much help in solving this situation. I will not be using your app anymore.

Garbage taken out of room every other day. Tv channels so,so. Had to pay more for room downstairs. Lots of stailrs, not good for a handicap. Toilet moves, shower doesnt work. Bugs running on floor. Lack of communication from staff about the facility and breakfast

Staff top notch. Loved the room amenities. EVERYTHING in walking distance. Loved it. Would stay there again. Nothing I didn’t like. The staff hooked me up with A TON of fresh clean towels when I asked for a shower towel and pointed to the dirty laundry basket in the hall for when I’m done. Of course out of respect for their efforts, I dropped all my dirty towels in the basket when I left. Clean lobby. Bible in the drawer and coffee in the room. Perfect.

If all you need is a bed and bathroom, with slow draining plumbing, this is the place. Young Indian man at check in was very unfriendly. The man at check out was very nice and appreciative. Shower didn't drain well, and toilet didn't flush good. TV remote was broken and air conditioner unit was trashed. We slept and showered, that's about it. For less than $100 it was an ok room.

I felt unsafe for me and my family .there was alot of people hanging out around drinking and beimg noisy and loud. I had to ask for toilet paper because we didmt have any and bath towels .the toilet woldnt flush down good had to use plumger 3 or 4 times before it would go down .the shower aas awful .i asked for a non smoking room and as soon as soon as you walked in it smelled like smoke.and they gave me the wrong room at the beginning i paid for a king size bed and they put me in a 2 qwueen size beds until i said something. The pictures on the website is not what it really looks like inside .i dont recommend going to this hotel.you get what you pay for.

You pay what you ask for. Our room was on the back side and you had people that i guess lives there at the hotel and they was up all night outside yelling banging on doors and was drunk i felt unsafe there with my son and husband .my son had a karate tournament so i looked at the pictures online what the hotel looked like and the pictures lied . I also saw a big roach and i felt grossed out after that. And the beds when we came into our room was not made up at all. We had to ask for covers and pillows and towels. But the staff was very nice tho. But i wouldnt recommend going to that hotel.

AC didn’t work

It was horrendous. The room was to be non smoking and it knocked you down when you opened the door. Smelled like a stale ashtray from a bar. Windows and mirrors were cover in nicotine. Cleaner was in room but not used. Furniture was nasty. Clothing was in our room from previous people. Bed linins were dirty and were burnt. Tv would not work. Would never recommend.

Asked to keep room an extra night and was charged $99.99 for one extra night. First room had light bulb hanging from lamp by wire. Second room not much better. Desk person not friendly or personable. Do not recommend.

Literally dozens of cigarette holes in the sheets. TV did not work. Repair work and maintenance of trim, flooring was terrible.

The room was not clean and dirty towels. When I told them at reception, they told me it was due to the amount I had paid for the room. That doesn't make sense. No matter how much you pay, the service is the most important thing.

There were cigarette burns and stains on the sheets. There were food stains on the dust skirt. The toilet was loose so when you sat down at rock back-and-forth. The vent in the bathroom had never ever been cleaned since it was installed. It was Nasty. The water pressure was very low, so shower was challenging. The faucet in the shower didn’t actually turn off. You had to move it back-and-forth until it stopped somewhere.

The tv wasn’t working and they had roaches ? the tub was infested the bathroom ? period room 229 specifically

Make sure you bring lysol and bug spray if you are going to stay here. Spray the bed and couch with the lysol spray. And spray around the room with the bug spray. I did that once i arrived and i felt better about my stay. Not a place for kids. But it was the closest hotel i could find to Nashville Superspeedway

Cockroaches everywhere in room and the shower didn't work, as in wasn't even connected. Should be charging $10 a night instead of what they are charging.

The room was poorly maintained and dirty. It had roaches!!! The other guests was loud and fighting around 2-3am in the morning. The sheets had burn holes in them from cigarettes although it was a nonsmoking room.

Our room was wrong to begin with. We booked queen beds and got full beds. The tolite didnt work and the room was dirty.. they moved us to a second room and it was worse.. it had little worms crawling on the bed.. so we left and went somewhere else..

Had to plug several items in so that they would work. Refrigerator didn’t keep waters and leftover pizza cold and didn’t refreeze my ice packs, they actually became totally unfrozen in the fridge, plus had to throw pizza away. While I was eating my pizza on my bed. A cockroach climb on the bedding, going towards my pizza, killed it, a few minutes later, a cockroach was high on the wall above the tv, killed it. Also not enough bedding. By far the worst hotel stay that I have ever had. A few other minor things, but I’m tired of writing now.

The bathroom smelled like urine! i asked for nonsmoking and the room smelled like cigarettes the sheets had a strong smell as well. I was very shocked that the rooms were infested with roaches! location is great, customer service is good... They need to invest in cleaning the rooms better and get rid of the roaches!

The room is not clean. The heating was non existent. The bathroom was shabby. If it hidden been so late in the day and we were very tired, we would have found another motel.

When I initially checked in, they took almost 20 minutes trying to figure out how to check me in. And they gave me an OCCUPIED ROOM at first. Backpacks, messed up bed, etc. How do you mess that up? The second room I got was not good. Urine stains in the bath tub, whoever was in there last didn't flush the toilet and neither did cleaning staff. Floors were sticky. God knows what was in the bed. Some kind of dust all over the floor. TV didn't even work. I just left and booked a different hotel. Also they have a strict no refund policy and hotels.com did not help me out despite being a longtime customer. So I had to eat the cost. If you must stay here, leave your valuables at home. They'll probably give a key to your room to someone else.

Would never stay again. Staff not around , towels filthy and one room only had one hand towel. Showers had mold, floors and furniture dirty /stained . Loud and lots of people hanging out drinking at night during the week. Feel I should get a refund but staff not around to even talk with about anything

There was nobody at the front desk when I got there, and I waited about 30 minutes, but no one showed up. I just left and found another hotel.

This isn’t a safe place to stay. If I had my family with me, there is no way I’d stay there. This is the type of hotel you go to cheat on your spouse or to overdose. The room was extremely dirty. Do t stay here unless this is the place you were instructed to drop ransom money.

The power went out on one side of the room. We had to change rooms and the TV didn’t work in the second room. People outside screaming and fighting and calling the cops in the middle night till about 4am. After walking barefoot in the room my feet were black. The staff wasn’t available for me to check out and when I tried to call them I’ve gotten no answer.

There was a dog constantly baking every time somebody went past the dog owner's room. Needless to say me and my family got no sleep because there was always someone walking past the room. Everybody paid to stay there and everybody should be able to be given respect after paying their hard earned money to stay there.

This place was horrible, only 2 lights in the room and they were on the wall, I killed 2 roaches running across the floor, no hot water in shower, did u get that, NO HOT WATER, plus the tub leaked, and we heard it all night, and don't 4get the king sz bed was HORRIBLE, ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE, TERRIBLY LUMPY, as could be, would not recommend it, nor will we ever stay there again

Notified manager but he was too busy admiring the new paint job and exterior upgrades. Over all just a place to sleep and that's about it

I would Not recommend stay at this place. Don’t waste your money. The room smelled like cigarettes, roaches. To be honest I’m not sure how that place is still open. I had Electrical wires exposed, every time i turned on a light a popping sound could be heard. The only reason i stay the whole trip was because i purchased everything in a bundle and Expedia would not refund the hotel cost. Rodeway inn and suites in Smyrna should have a inspection done immediately.

People at office nice enough. They even lent us an ironing board. Would never come here again though.

Everything was old. The room smelled very bad. The blankets were not very clean. The water was off on the toilet and the tank would not fill after turning on. Float would stick and not fill. Did have hot water for shower. Way over priced for quality of room. Should avoid if you have other options.

When checking in was told no room available even with the guaranteed reservation. Clerk finally got mgr on the phone and said he could give us a single king vs 2 queens but it was really still under renovation. Tired from driving all day i agreed. If it was anyone other than me and my adult son i would have turned around and slept in my car. First off I pulled the curtain shut and it looked like blood all over it, like the result from a suicide. Gross but I needed sleep. Couldn't figure out the tv. Slept on top of the covers for fear of what might be under. Furnishing were dilapidated and worn to the point of no finish. The shower, while having the pressure of a fire hose, appeared stained from previous mold. Sorry, but $120 for a few hours of crappy experience was really highway robbery.

This place is an absolute dump! We had been in the car all day and were tired and hungry, so we reserved the room on-line and it was non-refundable. When we entered the room, we saw that the bed had cigarette burns in the sheets and bed spread. It made me wonder if the sheets had even been washed as the burns went all the way through the sheets into the mattress. The bathtub was so beat up, looked like it had bullet holes. The wall sconce was falling off the wall. The unit was filthy. This was hands down the worst place I have ever stayed. I will NEVER stay at a Rodeway Inn in the future. I cannot believe Expedia is listing this as an option of a place to stay! Very disappointed!

The rooms smelled, they were not very clean. The sheets had a rip in them and the blanket had stains on it. When we arrived the clerk was not there and then man filling in did not speak or understand English. The carpets were filthy.

Non-existent maintenance. Several problems, and only one was fixed. They only try to fix something after you complain, and even then there's no guarantee they will. They didn't clean my room on Sunday. Never during my stay did they vacuum the carpet nor change the sheets. Completely unacceptable.

Dirty room blood stain on one of them was really disgusting couldn’t take a picture because they smell really bad local authorities should go inspect this hotel never had an experience like that and I stay in hotel 3-5 times a week but nothing compare to this room 229 and 121 were the worst was worse than being inside a garbage can I can’t get over it that it was disgusting and then the front desk guy was super rude just throwing the cards to me this was bad and I’m also making a report on local authorities to go inspect this hotel because that was disgusting no human being should stay or even go inside a room like those

Our room hadn't been completely cleaned. There was some water on one of the night stands and the room smelled like skunk.

Bed bugs and roaches

I reserved a non-smoking room with 2 beds through Hotels.com, when I arrived they said I reserved I smoking room. Not sure if this was an issue on Hotels.com’s website, or if the hotel itself messed up. There were no other rooms for me except a room with 1 bed, I had 4 children with me, so I was stuck with the smoking room and 2 beds. The door to our room didn’t even close correctly. You could see light coming in from the sides of the door. There was large gaps between the door and the frame. The lighting in the room was horrible, the room felt very dark once the door and windows were closed.

my son started having asthma attacks after 20 minutes in the room. there were bugs crawling around and dirty towels left in the bathtub. the place was sketchy and it appeared yo be drug activity around the facility.

They only had a smoking room and it smelled terrible the carpet was dirty the bed linens were holy and stained. We paid for 2 nights but we only stayed 1 and we couldn’t get a refund. The room in general was filthy. The corners were caked with crud. The door had a gap when it was closed. Some of the lights had no bulbs. The towel racks were missing, torn off the wall. The remote to the TV didn’t work… it had a different room number on the back. Pretty much nothing more than a flop house.

Smelled like cat urine. Tv and all the plugs didn’t work on one wall. Walls were patched up and stained.. ceiling in bathroom was caving in. Couldn’t even breathe walking in! This place needs to be shut down! Definitely not worth the 80 some dollars!! Beware!! We left as fast as we could

The room was ok. There was no breakfast like the motel said.

This property has had better days. We stayed there three years ago. The first bad reaction was the smell in the room from the deodorant use to cover up. The room did have a working refrigerator and we did not try the microwave. Bare feet seemed to pick up dirt from the carpet. The TV did not get a dish signal. Called front desk who said they would call back with a solution. They never called. WiFi worked in the evening, but not in the morning.

Non smoking isn’t a thing. Couldn’t figure out what the smell was… in both rooms. Cleaned the filters in the AC. Can’t walk around barefoot because feet become black. The shower curtain didn’t come to the top of the tub. Blood stains on the box spring. Blood stains on the sheets and blankets. Staff is rude. When I told them the first room had a horrible smell, he told me it was non smoking. I assured him it wasn’t. Second room was worse. Staff was rude and ghetto.

When we turned in the card the guy didnt even get up to take the cards. This hotel stated it served breakfast, there was no breakfast, not even coffee.

I’ve never had to fix a toilet seat or clean the bathtub bathroom counters. I only stayed because they wouldn’t give me a refund. TV didn’t work but I think the two girls in the next room did if you know what I mean

Had problems with the WiFi. Guy at front desk kept insisting it was my computer. Had pictures I needed to send to my paper. Was not able to do this. Really an inconvience.

This place is a dump. The sink was busted. The floor was dirty. There were hairs on the counter and mold in the AC. The rooms are disgusting and stink. It smelled of wet dog and body odor. The management doesn’t care. We checked out so fast and the manager didn’t care at all that we were disappointed or that we were leaving and I told him about the issues with the room. We didn’t stay long enough to take photos

The room smelled like the previous occupant had multiple cats. It smelled really bad. Also the first thing I did was look under the beds and I found wrappers under. So I know the cleaning person did not vacuum under the bed. Didn’t make me feel comfortable especially COVID still being a problem. Only reason I stood there was due to memorial weekend and the front desk guy said no more rooms were available. This place is terrible. Especially for the price. No good

This hotel is very old, the furnishings are old dirty and stained. Dirty safe in the room who would want to store anything in there? Towels were old and hard, bed coverings were old and smelled old. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The man that checked me in was rude when I got there. This is not the first time either about 4 months ago we used the same hotel but this time my husband checked us in and the man was rude to him also. The room smelled. Holes patched half a** on the walls and ceiling. When we got to our room at 12:30pm after driving 14hrs we had no towels.

This motel was in horrible condition. Very old run down and dirty.Not the nicest of areas. There was a bullet in the toilet, so that about sums it up! Unfortunately the only place around with a vacancy.

Don’t stay here, room was not clean , toilet move when you try to seat, microwave has rust inside , a baby roach inside the fridge , they have good hot water and heat .

What I liked was having a place to rest after a 10 hour drive. The card reader on the door was faulty so the card would not work. Instead of moving me over to a room where it did, the front desk had me tell them the time and duration of anytime I had to leave so they could let me back in. Several burned out light bulbs, towels that were still dirty, peeling trim off walls and TV did not work. Not very happy.

Second time there great place to stay

Roadkill inn. No attempt to clean the room. Interior would be best described as bombed out Beirut modern. My favorite: black mold about 24” in diameter on ceiling below what I assume is the bathroom above. The bullet proof glass reception and no access to the lobby should of been my first clue. It did have a refrigerator which is a plus. Imagine the smell of an ashtray and dirty wet socks. That’s what greets you at the Roadway Inn of Smyrna TN. Enjoy!!

They should have paid me to sleep there. Comforter was torn. Two beds, three pillows. Bathroom door would not close. Ceiling looked as if it was going to fall on me.

It was filthy. Burn holes literally every 6 sq inches. on the floor. The comforter had burn holes all over it. One outlet that worked. Crappy WiFi and the cable didn’t work. Someone went in my room, while I was gone to work and turned off the AC Unit. Although I had the DND sign on the door and my things had been gone through.

They charged more than what it was showing on Expedia. Not sure why, not worth a penny.

First room I checked into Room #210 had human feces on the bathroom floor. Toilet had dry urine around the toilet seat. Dirty underwear was found in the room. I was transferred to another room. Room #115. This room appeared somewhat decent. When my daughter and I got ready to go to sleep we couldnt help but notice bed bugs crawling all over the sheets. If I could upload a video I would. I spoke to the lady at the front office and she told me she was not authorized to refund my money and that management does not come in till Monday. I called the Police. I explained I had a long drive the next day and that it was not sanitary for us to stay here. I want my money back so that I can go elsewhere.
