The hotel received mixed reviews with guests appreciating the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, as well as the friendly staff. Some guests also reported issues with unprofessional staff behavior and poor management.
- Clean and comfortable rooms
- Friendly staff
- Thin walls causing noise disturbances
- Lack of kitchen utensils and broken elevator

The bed was terrible. The towels were paper thin. There wasn't even a toaster or a skillet to make breakfast.
- 5/5
Very clean rooms. Super nice staff. Great parking. Convenient shopping.
- 5/5
Thanks to staff for accommodating me late check-in
- 1/5
Motel is horrible with very little amenities. The smell of weed still lingers in my nostrils. I believe one gentleman runs a service repair shop out of the parking lot. I do not recommend staying with this company just spend the extra money and stay at a namebrand hotel.
- 3/5
The room smelled stale and would not go away. The hotel is not too old but there is a lot of wear and tear in the rooms. The drink machine had no drinks but still took your money. Yes I contacted the vendor on this.
- 5/5
We booked here out of desperation when our last hotel was a mess. But it was everything we needed and more. The staff was friendly and generous, the property was easy to use and VERY clean.
- 1/5
My reservation was cancelled when i checked in late at 11:45pm.
- 1/5
I MADE RESERVATIONS IN ADVANCE FOR 03/09/26 THRU 03/11/26; A STAY THAT WAS BUSINESS RELATED. WE WERE TOLD WHEN WE ARRIVED THAT WE DIDN'T HAVE RESERVATIONS, THAT THE HOTEL WAS FULL (OVERBOOKED??) AND WE'D HAVE TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF GROSS MISMANAGEMENT.
- 5/5
Nice for the price
- 5/5
Clean and cozy
- 4/5
No but the staff corrected the problem quickly.
- 5/5
The property, parking lot and outdoor spaces are tastefully decorated, safe, well-lit, clean and well-maintained. There are loads of restaurants and stores, within walking distance or a very short drive. The price for my week-long stay was very competitive and it was perfect for my needs.
- 3/5
Shower water did not drain out.
- 3/5
Front desk was great. Very polite and sweet ladies. But they told us cleaning would be Tuesdays. We left since morning and when we came back we realized they didn’t even go into our room to clean at all.
- 4/5
Clean and in walking distance from restaurants
- 1/5
On our first night we were woke up at 4:00 am but our neighbour yelling and cursing at his other neighbour. The walls are so thin that he might as well been in our room. On a couple of occasions I had to kill cockroaches in our room. The carpets in the hall way are stained all over the place and are in desperate need of replacing. The staff were nice to us even allowing us to check in early. Had I had experience with extended stay hotels, I never would have stayed there. I thought they were simply called that for people who were looking to stay somewhere for a week or two while on vacation.
- 1/5
Awful. Smelled bad, and was dirty. The turn down service never came, even the one day a week they said they would come. Not going to stay here again.
- 1/5
This place was nasty and smelled bad. The front desk people were not friendly or helpful. I wouldn't stay here again.
- 1/5
Hotel is a honeless shelter
- 1/5
The hotel wasn’t bad, however the walls were so thin, you could hear everyone’s conversation, when they vacuumed, when they argued etc. unfortunately the neighbors were very young and played video games very late into the night. Even when we asked the front desk to address the noise, they wouldn’t. It made the stay miserable and ended up having to change hotels
- 1/5
Very rude and unresponsive front desk lady Ended up leaving just to sleep Price not worth the hassle or disrespect
- 4/5
Everything at this property was in walking and driving distance. From shopping to food to even entertainment heading downtown.
- 2/5
The place was relatively well run however, housekeeping should have come on the Tuesday of my two-week stay. They did not come. Although there was a refrigerator and a cooktop, there were no pots and pans to use for cooking. There were also no cooking utensils. The microwave worked well. The laundry facilities were good and clean. Difficulty with the Keurig coffeemaker. Not a bad stay but not a great one either.
- 4/5
Great customer service and overall my stay has been good.
- 2/5
The plug in socket came out of the wall and the usb ports were pushed in so you couldn't use them
- 5/5
Felt like being at home.
- 4/5
It was clean. The room had more than we needed. The staff were friendly.
- 5/5
Tiene todo al rededor restaurantes gasolineras shoping senters
- 1/5
I modified my stay to have the room only for Saturday since we wouldn’t make it on time Friday. However when my husband went in to get his room after a long day of racing he was told it was a “no show” and the room was gone.
- 3/5
Easy to get to
- 1/5
I made reservations on line and they did not have a room available to me when I arrived slept in my car
- 5/5
Very comfortable bed. The room was nicely decorated and clean. Staff was friendly.
- 3/5
The front desk person is not gentle and the beds are kind of cheap
- 5/5
For a “long” stay this place is perfect since it has a kitchen and fridge and restaurants in the same parking lot AKA walking distance.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay and the rooms were nice and spacious.
- 5/5
We had a peaceful stay in a wonderful area. We really enjoyed the cleanliness and privacy that we had.
- 5/5
For the price, this place was extremely nice and clean!!
- 5/5
Thank you i had a great stay
- 5/5
I had a great stay, will come again
- 4/5
The trash was full when I checked into the room. Not a big deal as I was only there one night, but it made me feel as if the room had not been thoroughly cleaned.
- 5/5
I was very happy with the condition of the hotel and the quality of the staff. I would definitely stay again.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Awesome place to stay, great staff, very clean. Love the non smoking facility since my husband is a LVAD, patient. Check in and out very quick, would definitely stay again and reccomend to others.

We booked this hotel for guests who had been hit by a tornado earlier in the day. We gave our credit card information via expedia and booked it on the spot. This hotel refused to accept payment online and made our guests pay for it themselves. I have used expedia to book hotels for many people over the years. This is the first time I have ever had any hotel refuse to accept payment from us and instead demand it from the guests, particularly when those guests were victims of a natural disaster. Had the hotel even called us and asked us to fax over a form to authorize payment it would have been fine. They didn't do that and I am appalled at how badly this was handled. To do that to people who had suffered enough that day was absolutely not OK. The hotel itself is fine. Their policies are not. Find some place else to stay.
- 4/5
I had a short stay but the room was clean and spacious. Service was also courteous.
- 4/5
Everything was great except for two things. The smokers stand right outside the front door and back door to smoke. We nonsmokers don’t like to walk through that. Secondly, there were roaches in our room. We stayed two nights, and I killed 3 roaches.
- 5/5
Window AC system too noisy.
- 4/5
Overall clean, modern style, new hotel. The staff were pleasant. My only criticism is that it's the first time I stayed in any type of extended stay where absolutely no kitchenware was provided. Not a single spoon, plate, pan, or glass cup. I thought it was very weird. There is a cook top but nothing to use on it unless you bring your own.
- 4/5
liked the staff. The property was great. Parking was great
- 5/5
everything was very clean and staff was kind and courteous.
- 3/5
Very modern and clean. Close to restaurants and other stores. Nice work out room and laundry room. But a large high overhang entryway would be nice. Especially when it rains like it did when I arrived. Also the walls are paper thin. The next door guest snored louder than a foghorn all night for two nights. The hotel clerk balked when I asked to be relocated. The large intersection could use a pedestrian light signal. Dangerous to cross. A shuttle van would be nice for short trips for guests to stores. Also a computer center with printer and desk would also help
- 5/5
Friendly staff and nice rooms. The wife and I will stay again soon.
- 1/5
This hotel said it was pet friendly-shame on me for not reading the fine print of weight limits. My 40 pound dog(which is right at the limit) was turned away by a very rude lady who would not show me the policy stating this.
- 5/5
Very clean. Seems fairly new. Not very soundproof room to room, but turned fan on constant and slept very well.
- 3/5
some of the guests, who again were rather rude, needy, and demanding. Good location, but overall not a great place for a woman traveling alone.
- 5/5
Very clean, the only problem we had was the bed was hard and the wifi was slow.
- 5/5
It was very welcoming. I had a relaxed time. Loved the gym.
- 4/5
The room was beautiful! Set up nicely and very clean which was very nice. The hotel site and preview boasted on the WiFi but mine wasn’t up to par at all, in fact I had to leave to find better WiFi else where. Wish there were king beds.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and quick to respond to any of my requests. The rooms were spacious, quiet and very clean. I very much enjoyed my stay.
- 1/5
I actually did not end up staying because the front desk person was very rude
- 4/5
The staff was friendly and courteous. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the suite was especially when juxtaposed with the low rates. I will definitely stay again.

- 5/5
Good, clean, safe location. The staff are tops.
- 4/5
Nice room, clean, and close to where my son works. The only issue I had, was at night the door seemed to allow the light in from the hall. Not just a little, but all the way around the door. There wasn't any issues due to this or anything. That just seemed to make me uneasy a little bit. Otherwise, the room was comfortable, nice size and at the end of the hall, so more quiet. Good price for the area.
- 5/5
The building itself was very different, the environment & people were awesome! Very quick when you ask for something.
- 4/5
Pleasant staff and rooms. Newly renovated hotel. Close to Nashville and right off interstate. Modern feel. Room was clean and comfy. Full size fridge and small kitchen area that was really convenient.
- 4/5
This is my first time at the Uptown and i love all the experience so far. Im impressed with everything
- 4/5
Staff very accommodating. Hotel is in middle of nowhere and there is no public transportation. If you have a car there are things to keep busy. Smyrna is a very nice city. Area of hotel is just restaurants, banks and medical offices with a hospital. The hotel is very nice place.
- 4/5
Great service. Could have been cleaned a lil better in the rooms. Carpet needs shampooing in rooms n halls badly
- 1/5
Did not get to stay. was told if we are checking in after 8pm to call a number for after hours. We called no less than 30 times and nobody ever bothered to answer the phone. we had been traveling all day. went to the UGA / Vandy game and just wanted to crash. but had to spend an extra two hours searching for another hotel in labor day weekend. ended up having to drive almost two hours outside of nashville back towards atlanta. Would never recommend this place to anyone. if you dont want customers checking in after 8pm make that know before hand.
- 4/5
Everything was pretty good except two things. One thing was the walls are very thin and the neighbors played loud music and smoked weed. The other thing was we stayed 3 nights and the elevator smelled so bad the entire night. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were set up very nice.
- 5/5
Clean, quick, and comfortable ......................................................................
- 3/5
Too small a bed
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
The location was excellent, plenty of restaurants, shopping, services close by. Check in was easy-the staff was friendly and helpful. Nice gym. Plenty of parking. Laundry. The room itself was comfortable and well equipped for an extended stay. Full size fridge, kitchen, desk. The only downside was the noise level-constant banging and noise every time someone slammed a door. Perhaps getting a room on the top floor might help.
- 5/5
The whole property was really nice and well kept. My room was really cute and so functional. The walls are pretty thin so it was a bit noisy at times but I would go back.
- 5/5
The stay was great. The room was clean, spacious, and had everything I needed. The vending machines accept Apple Pay which is great. The customer service was beyond excellent. I would definitely stay here again. Prices are reasonable and the hotel is close to restaurants and stores plus near highway.
- 4/5
The stay was very pleasent and perfectly local near food and activities even though I was there for business, there was alot of variety if I wanted
- 4/5
Very clean and homey. Room and ficilities were extra nice.
- 5/5
I loved this hotel! Very clean, comfy and right across the parking lot from a wonderful Thai restaurant!
- 4/5
Everything was clean and it was affordable. It was just what we needed and allowed dogs. $20 dog fee to have your fur baby stay with you.
- 4/5
i requested a corner room and did not get it. unfortunately i had a neighbor that kept banging on the wall...which was very disturbing.hence, my request for always having a corner room
- 4/5
My stay was for 6 nights. The room was nice enough and very clean, everything looked new. The room smelled like smoke entire stay and the ironic thing is that they have stickers everywhere saying “relax, we are smoke free”. The fire alarm was pulled 2 nights but both were false alarms. It took a while each time for them to turn the alarm off, which is really loud.
- 5/5
Excellent, clean, lots of storage. No breakfast, but there’s a Dunkin‘ Donuts a block away with breakfast sandwiches, and an authentic Italian pizzeria across from it.
- 4/5
The facility was brand new construction. The room was excellently designed and laid out. Freeway close as well as walking distance to many restaurants. I did not like, however, some of the other clientele that were using the place a temporary residency.
- 5/5
One word- AMAZING
- 5/5
It was modern and cute. Spacious bathroom and good lightening. Cleaniness was extravagant.
- 5/5
The property was very clean ! Security was present in the sense of being in a safe environment ! My room was one the cleanest rooms that I have ever stayed in !
- 4/5
No issues with the rooms. Wish they had king size beds in there hotel.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay here. Sheila was very nice and courteous the entire stay!
- 3/5
The room was basic but adequate. The first room they gave us had not even been cleaned, the second smelled badly of smoke. The third was fine.
- 5/5
Loved the room it had a kitchen and big TV. I look forward to coming back.
- 1/5
The room was dirty, the walls were paper thin, and our room smelled like cigarettes and weed.
- 4/5
Clean, nice surrounding areas with plenty of food options, friendly service
- 1/5
When myself and my wife arrived at the hotel, we were informed that the manager dumped all the reservation data that morning and that not just ours, but a lot, of reservations were lost due to that incident. Will not be using or recommending this hotel to anyone.
- 5/5
Cleanliness, very friendly environment and the staffs are awesome.
- 2/5
The first room I checked into had someone's underwear on the floor in the bathroom. So that room obviously hadn't been cleaned. The second room I checked into had a fair share of bugs and the tub didn't drain well at all. By the end of my stay I was essentially showering in my own filth. It was pretty gross. My stay left much to be desired. I likely will not rebook at this location.
- 5/5
The room was impressively clean. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and will be stopping here again.
- 5/5
The mattress was horrible
- 2/5
Nobody ever seems to be at the front desk. Walls are paper thin so I got to hear the guy in the next room snoring all through the night. The floors are wood so it sounded like a stampede running through the room up above me. I would never stay here again.
- 4/5
Nice room, everything clean and new. Very nice. Bed is too soft. Too far from Nashville, shouldn’t even have Nashville in the name of the hotel. Nice area.
- 5/5
Pleasantly surprised!
- 2/5
The bed was terrible couldn't sleep on it would not recommend this place
- 1/5
Floors and walls are paper thin. If you're planning a stay, get 4th floor otherwise you hear everything from upstairs guests.
- 1/5
It took 30 minutes to get a room. Next day I called front desk asking about how I to log in to the hotel's WI-FI. The information I was given was wrong. So, I called back and this time another person picked up and started yelling at me because I asked again. When he went to get the information he thought that he put me on hold but he did not. I clearly heard him calling me a stupid idiot. When I confronted him about it he hung up. (a tall black gentleman with blond curly hair) Walls in this “hotel” are paper thin and you can hear everything happening in this hellhole.
- 4/5
overall pleased with stay ... hotel was clean inside and out. check in and out smooth. stayed for a week and the 2 days that I needed the towels swapped out, house keeping never came in the room. I had to go to the front deck to get them my self. The duo not disturb was not on the door either. would def stay again
- 2/5
1st room... no receptacle power and then smoke coming out of fuse box when flipped on. 2nd room... queen bed very uncomfortable, leaky sink drain, and loud group in back parking lot. The elevator is way out of balance... took stairs 4 flights to avoid it. Day time front desk were veru friendly... night time female was not helpful at all. We don't drink and there was an open bottle of peach vodka left on the top self behind our door... not kool. I will NEVER stay here again!
- 2/5
Room smell bad, a lot of people drunk all around the parking lot, people in the parking lot drinking and loud music, when you get to a place like that you don’t feel safe especially with kids
- 4/5
Fresh and clean. But no housekeeping in my room at all the days I was there.
- 3/5
Friendly staff, Room missing a few things, food left in refrigerator, toilet was full of urine on arrival, which means room was not cleaned properly if at all
