The room was more than I expected. It’s was nice to have the bedroom separate and we had 2 bathrooms. Very clean. Front desk were very friendly. I love that they had a pool table which we used after visiting the San Diego fair. The pool area and lounge chairs were very clean.

Room was really big! Appreciated the free parking, tons of amenities and very convenient location!

Went to front desk just to ask just only 2 hand towels but give a huge plastic bag to place the moist ones in and put outside the room to exchange for the fresh ones. The housekeeping came by and picked it up and waited for 20mins and still didn’t get the fresh towels. Got up and walk back to front desk again and they told will ask the housekeeper to come by again and dropped off at the room. What a hassle??? It’s just too cumbersome, inconvenient and time consuming for simply just asking for two extra hands towels…. Studio is not roomy and pretty tight. Feel like rushing on morning of checking out. We aware and knew the time and getting busy of packing and loading up…

Great place! Friendly people and coffee ready in the lobby is always welcome. The room was huge, clean, and so comfortable. I am now obsessed with getting pillows like theirs - incredible after a long day at the Fair. The Fairgrounds are a quick safe walk away - maybe took me 10 minutes? 100% will stay again.

We love the location and how close it is to so many things. We love to walk to the beach. We love the pool and hot tub. The free laundry is a bonus as well. This was our 5th time and it won't be our last.

The size of the room was great with a kitchen, two bathrooms and a upstairs patio. Our room was above the ajoining restaurant which could get loud on a Friday or Saturday night, but only lasted until 11 pm which did not negatively impact us. Good general lodgings with some nice amenities (e.g., pool, hot tub, fitness center, pool table, etc.).

I would not be staying at this place again! There are other hotels in the area for same price and better service.

I thought my suite would only have a microwave and fridge but it had dishes and a stove, and 2 restrooms which is awesome, I was able to enjoy the pool,jacuzzi, play pool and enjoy the fireplace they had it it's one of my favorite hotels so far. The staff was really friendly, and free coffee in the morning

First time staying in 2 bedroom condo. Master bedroom is downstairs with its own tub / shower. Big vanity with 2 sink. Really enjoyed the pool area with hot tub Game room was so fun to play pool with kids.

The room we stayed in was in need of deep cleaning. There was an unpleasant smell and the floors looked dingy and in need of replacement. The bathroom sink made a terrible sound and there were no wash clothes. I called and asked for some, but no one ever brought them.

Ants in bed and carpet. Otherwise….a nice place to stay. Has everything you could want.

Perfect for families, reunions. Close to beach and La Jolla. Great place for kids and family to hang by pool Jacuzzi. Great pool and ping pong tables. We were on the first floor and our patio went out to the pool. Fabulous. Private outdoor space with easy access to play time. Also has outdoor grills and tables. Would definitely stay again. King suite had two bathrooms. 👍

Well maintained motel with a friendly staff!

Beautiful quiet hotel, well situated. Nice rooms but the two women who worked the front desk had majorly bad attitudes and shouldn't work in hospitality. They were both unpleasant and seemed annoyed that a customer showed up to check in. They were very abrupt and borderline rude. Such a shame, because I can't say enough good things about the property itself! Great pool, game room and rooms. Very clean.

Stay was very enjoyable minus the last day. Right before check out house keeping kept coming into the room without knocking while we were showering to get ready to leave. It didn’t happen once but twice at 9 am. I was a little confused because check out was at 11 and it made us feel uncomfortable and rushed to leave.

All was good. The only thing was a bit of some cleaning product in the room that gave us some respiratory problems. Other than that the place is really nice.

This was one of the best stays I’ve had in a really long time! Winners Circle Resort truly feels like a hidden gem. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating, which made the experience even better. There’s so much fun to enjoy nearby, and the whole area has such a relaxed, chill vibe. I absolutely loved my stay and would definitely come back!

Great location and value! There were no blankets in the room so we had to ask for those. Also, the living room phone didn’t work. Only there overnight but would love to stay longer some time.

My stay was great one once I got in the room I booked. I don't know what happened when I booked with Expedia as first room I was given was a studio room (1 bed) for the 5 of us. I had booked a 2 bedroom suite and was told I would need to call Expedia CS to have them call the hotel to figure out the issue but was grateful the staff at Winners Circle were able to fix the issue without me calling Expedia and give me the room I had originally wanted. Staff was great help and luckily caught me before I left after check out to give me a bag of drinks I had left in the fridge. Room was big enough for the 5 of us and for me and my mother to have our makeup and hair done for my son's wedding. Would definitely stay again!

First time staying here. We were very surprised at how stocked the hotel room was stocked in the kitchen with anything you would need. Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was more spacious that we thought it would be. We can't wait to return!

Large heated Pool and hot tub 5. Price was reasonable Negatives: 1. Front desk person at check-in was super rude and acted like it was a hassle to help us. 2. Ants in room 3. Plumbing backed up on last day (maintenance team was super nice though) 4. Highway noise heard in rooms 5. Dated furniture Overall, a mixed experience. The property has a lot of potential given the size of the rooms and location. However, it is clear that it is a timeshare first and hotel second. Therefore, you don't feel the same level of customer service that you would get at a hotel. There wasn't always someone at the front desk and when there was, it was hit or miss if they were going to be friendly/helpful. With a family, I enjoyed the kitchen (albeit smaller appliances and sink) and the two rooms/two bathrooms. We also enjoyed the large, heated pool. If the negatives were addressed, this would be a great place to stay.

Love this hotel/resort! The location is amazing, the room/unit is large and very nice. The amenities are fantastic. And the staff are all very warm and helpful. It is very well maintained and had everything we could want.

We found our one bedroom unit comfortable and convenient, providing everything we needed for our five nights. We did not have time to take advantage of the resort amenities, but the location of the resort was perfect for our holiday outings.

Noah was very helpful. Amenities were very nice and clean. A few restaurants within walking distance. Room furniture needs updating. Housekeeping only came once on 11 night stay.

The room was very nicely appointed and kept, and the staff was very helpful in accommodating me even though I arrived before the check-in time. There was some traffic noise, but it was minor and only an issue during the day. I found the bed to be comfortable, and everything worked as it should. Winner's circle is definitely at the top of my list for my next visit to the area.

We were surprised at how spacious the room was. We booked a suite and it had 2 bathrooms and a fully stocked kitchen which included dishes, a toaster, a blender, a coffee maker, a compost bin, a recycling bin, dish soap...I could go on and on. Close to so many shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

I paid through Hotels.com, but when I checked in, they tried to double charge me but other than that, I love staying at Winners Circle. The hot tub is always hot and clean. The barbecue grills are great to have inconvenient.

Nice, we loved it. The only reason why I didn’t do 5 star was because I didn’t like that we need to check in at 4pm. I had all me stuff in my truck all day and that was uncomfortable. I was hoping to check it in early

Poolside is attractive, has firepits and high quality outdoor BBQ area. A great location offering rare 2 bathrooms. Staff is great. Units are roomy, but smell musty and have dated 90s furniture.

Suite was well equiped, clean and comfortable. Pool area was great, comfortable chairs and lounges. About a 20 min walk to shops and coffee shops.

Front desk staff isn’t all that friendly but they are very responsive. Housekeeping staff was wonderful. Fyi: You will get a snobbish note on your door if you hang towels outside. Pros: you can really relax here. It’s clean, safe, and fairly quiet. Wonderful pool and hot tub area with free laundry facilities. Super close to excellent restaurants and the beach. Will definitely stay again.

Winner’s Circle was a very pleasant surprise! We walked into our “room” and found ourselves in a complete apartment! Full kitchen, living room, bedroom, 2 bathrooms, 2 sliding glass doors onto a balcony big enough to enjoy with a table and chairs. The staff was very pleasant. We had an issue with the mattress, which they resolved while we were out for the day. The biggest surprise was the pool, with hot tub, a wading pool, lots of tables, chairs, lounges, BBQ area. Very clean and very well maintained. Definitely going back!

Absolutely no security in long hallways with doors with out locks to dark parking lots. Doors propped open all night.

The gym is a plus. Also, they have an arrangement with the next door tennis club which allows guests to play pickleball there.

What i appreciated the most, was the ability to check in early due to our flight arrival.

This is a great hotel for couples and families. Nice to have the kitchenette with Whole Foods right down the block. We found it quiet, nice pool and close to the Belly Up if you are seeing a show there. Also some hiking close by.

i was only there overnight so i didn’t get to use all the amenities. but the rooms are set up for a nice longer stay.

Terrible customer service. Poor attitude from couple of the persons at front desk. Like we were bothering them. …. And you tried charging a credit card 4 times days before I checked in.

The studio was very spacious. The kitchen is well stocked! Everything you could possibly need for cooking in when you did not want to go out.

Could not get the room I requested/ put me in a handicap room facing the parking lot/ bathroom door would not close/ shower dispenser for shampoo did not work/ could never find a housekeeper to help

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay here. For the price, it was an excellent value! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and having a kitchenette made it feel like home. I really appreciated the shuttle service to the races—it made getting there so much easier. Overall, a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay at a great price.

This was a great property, it far exceeded our expectations for the 2 star rating. The apartment was well equipped, two bathrooms was a bonus for our family. Used the BBQ facilities which were great. Staff friendly and happy to help. Will definitively come back.

Room was great. We had pull out couch with its own bathroom and separate room & bathroom for the bedroom. Great having fridge & microwave. Outdoor deck had table & chairs. Did not like the noise of the upstairs guests making noise at 6:00 in the morning. Also, did not like that maid entered room at 10:30 before check out and didn’t even KNOCK!!!!! Outdoor great pool and fun things to do for family, movie night, ping pong, fire pit. Perfect for walking to the horse races.

The room is ok but appliances are outdated and the floor always feels sticky for at least the past 4 years we have been coming here. It may be cleaning solution they use. Utensil holders need better cleaning.

Don't stay here if you want any sleep. We were given a first floor unit. Limited sound proofing between floors. Listened to stomping footsteps, conversations, dog barking until 1 AM, When I complained I was told "this isn't a hotel it's a resort" and they can't do anything about owned units. At 5 AM the Fish Market refills its gas from a tanker truck that vibrated the room, extremely loud. Front desk said he couldn't do anything about that.

The apartment was very dark, the furnishings were very tired (think 1970s), and the place smelled musty and unpleasant. The patio was right next to the parking lot. It looked to me like I got a terrible room, and I should have asked to move to a different room. The bed was comfortable and the bedding high quality. I appreciate having a kitchen. There was no housekeeping service. I probably would not stay here again.

Nice and spacious room.

This property is listed as 2 stars, but does not look or feel like that. We were pleasantly surprised with the size of our suite, nice decor, we had two bathrooms, beds were very comfortable, kit check well equipped. The pool is great and bbq facilities came in handy when we did not want to dine out. Shops nearby were handy and is in good location to access the city and the airport. We will be coming back!

My wife and I stayed there during our visit to San Diego County fair. It was quite across the street and took a few minutes to.

Stayed for 3 nights and checked out on July 3rd. Our stay was so wonderful, not only are we determined to come back, we're pretty sure if we're visiting the San Diego area, we'll never stay anywhere else (if we can help it)! The location is perfect for the beaches we enjoy and about a 25-minute drive to San Diego. The value is unbeatable for a suite with a fully functional kitchen. We loved the complimentary Starbucks served every morning in the lobby. The pool and jacuzzi area were lovely, quiet, and so relaxing. You can lounge on the teak furniture and enjoy the fire pits that are lit in the evenings. The amenities are numerous. We couldn't believe the number of grills provided that are also cleaned for you. The suites are pristine and spacious, with toiletries, dish liquid, and dishwasher tabs provided. Yeah, there's a dishwasher! The staff we encountered were quite friendly and helpful. There are some rules to follow, but their purpose is to keep the property enjoyable for all. This is also a timeshare property, which adds some particular bonuses. It is very well maintained, and a sense of community has been established among the vacationers, who are there regularly throughout the year. We never passed by anyone without being greeted with "hello" and "good morning". Nicely done Winner's Circle. Thanks for the hospitality!

This place was such a great surprise!! The rooms are really spacious and cozy. I love the patio!! I had a pool view room on the first floor and it was perfect!! Coffee on the patio in the morning was relaxing. Two bathrooms too! We will definitely hear again. And again.

This hotel had all the amenities my husband and I needed. It was very conveniently located to downtown Solana Beach and right across the street from the race track and fair grounds. We stayed in a suite that had one bedroom, a separate living room, and a nice kitchenette. But, the really big bonus was having TWO bathrooms! The hotel is a little older and could use some upgrades, but it was clean, efficient, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very accommodating. Overall, it was a positive experience, and we would definitely stay there again.

We loved the location, even though the nearby roads were extremely crowded during the DelMar Fair and ECNL soccer tournament. 2 of the 4 front desk employees were friendly. Freshly brewed, free Starbucks in the morning was appreciated! The kitchens were VERY well equipped with small ovens, blenders, toasters, and all of the plates, bowls, cups, pots, pans, and utensils you’d need. The grill area and clubhouse kitchen looked nice, but we didn’t use them. The pool and hot tub were well-enjoyed by large groups of friends and family- most with little kids 8 and under. My teenaged kids enjoyed the pool table! We were never able to borrow the ping pong equipment and we didn’t see the sauna. The gym was small but nice. It had a small water cooler, but a better water bottle filler in the lobby would be a nice addition!

Could have been a nice stay

Over all this is a wonderful place to stay with family!!!! The only poor experience we had was with our check in- the woman was actually very rude and super unhelpful. However, the gentleman who was at the front desk the majority of the time was very helpful, attentive and awesome. Loved the amenities, location and ease of stay

This was actually a two room apartment. Looked to be recently redone everything in working order.

Laundry room easily accessible, well ventilated and eco friendly machines.

Seems a bit dated with the furnishings and had a musty smell, but otherwise great stay!

Couldn't check in until 5pm.

Our room Was comfortably appointed, and for the most part very clean, such as the bathroom’s kitchen and floors, however, there was a massive layer of dust on every single piece of furniture. The TV stands the top of the armoire the lamps had not been dusted on any level. Odd since everything else was really clean. As far as staff was concerned, other than a rude check in woman (on Saturday, May 10 at 10 PM) everyone else at the resort was outstanding with customer service, and care. I would especially like to call out Pilar, at the front desk. She was kind considerate and helped on more than one occasion!! We would definitely return to this resort for short or long-term stays in the future!!

The rooms are spacious suites with two bathrooms. We were generally pretty comfortable. We used the clubhouse to visit with family and found that to be just right.

We stayed one night. I was so pleased with everything. The front staff and housekeeping were so kind and helpful. Our unit was immaculate. They really made sure we were fully stocked with everything we needed. Lastly the beds were so comfortable. I slept like a baby. Definitely would return again.

The rooms are huge and the deluxe room we had had a living space with its own bathroom and a separate bedroom with another bathroom. It had a nice sized kitchen with everything you might need.

Property in the midst of a multi-section/year upgrade. Property is centrally located, quiet, and well-maintained. Pool and hot tub could use a little more deep cleaning but the general cleanliness is very good. Bed and pillows could stand to be more firm but I'm sure everyone has different preferences on that. Overall a very good value.

I highly recommend this hotel! It was very clean, and the suites are like being at home. The kitchen had everything you could think of to prepare your own food. The bed was very comfortable, and the staff were all friendly. I will definitely return here if I happen to be in the area and would recommend this place to my friends.

They had a pool and jacuzzi that looked like it was nice but it was too cold outside for me to even think about attempting to go inside. If you’re visiting San Diego or the surrounding area I’d suggest this place.
