Bathroom wasn't working properly till got fixed. Breakfast was awful. Bed was so old.
- 3.5/5
The facility was located next to an interstate entrance/exit, fuel stations, coffee store and a McDonalds. The room and the the lobby were immaculately clean. The showerhead wasn't tall enough for my height, but the facilities were well cared for no specific concerns

Okay room, everything just smelled like chlorine, the beds were not very comfortable and the pillows were thin and tough.
- 5/5
Very clean. The clean the rooms each morning of your stay. The staff is very friendly and are willing to help you with anything.
- 5/5
Great experience, great staff
- 4/5
Good breakfast and plenty of parking.
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful. It's a small hotel so the breakfast was good but without a lot of variety. Parking was very convenient. The room was clean and daily cleaning service was offered.

I had booked a room as my father was having open heart bypass surgery. Plans changed, he passed away, and now I am stuck fighting to get my refund as I did not end up going. And I bought the insurance so don’t waste your time
- 5/5
The space accommodated my family

The wifi kept dropping, if I didn't have my hotspot I would have been lost. The pool had what appeared to be oil spots floating in it. The gym, which is why I choose this location, had only one treadmill and it was broken. The continental breakfast was decent, staff was very nice and friendly.
- 5/5
Quite, nice staff. But we took breakfast outside.
- 5/5
Everything is as expected: nice comfortable clean room, attentive front desk staff, quiet hotel, breakfast buffet had nice variety and provided a decent meal.

not crazy about bathroom and location
- 4.5/5
Breakfast was what I expected ... more than adequate. Location was main reason for stay. A direct route to Capitol and legislative offices. I would have preferred that the breakfast ran later ... like 9:30 or 10:00.

Parking was easy. I felt safe as I arrived alone at night and there was ample lighting. The staff was friendly and accommodating. My room was in an area that felt safe with ample staff around until I was safely in my room. This is important for older females traveling alone and I appreciate it. There were shops nearby but I did not utilize them as I was in the area for a conference.
- 4/5
Right off the highway but far enough away so you couldn’t hear anything.
- 4/5
Very pleasant staff. Clean room
- 5/5
Good breakfast, staff was very helpful
- 4/5
Breakfast isn’t ready until 7am on Sunday, would have been nice if it was earlier because I had to leave before it was available (6:45). Will I stay again?…. Probably

Was told not to come to breakfast until the convention people left. I went at 9:05am and was told it was closed.
- 3/5
Still clean and friendly staff but they could get some updates....
- 1/5
They advertise great breakfast was only cereal and cold bagals and toast cold sausage. coffee wasn't prepared, staff was snotty about it to my husband said my wife prefers decaff and had two decaff pots no regular. Tea water was cold. I've stayed only in best western hotels in lots of states this was the worset
- 2.5/5
We were on the bottom floor and the person above us was very loud until 3 am and we had to get up by 6am.
- 5/5
Room was clean. Staff was very friendly. Nice & quiet stay.
- 4/5
We had to o change our rooms due to the refrigerator being out and staff was very accommodating.
- 4/5
Staff was very tentative and helpful.
- 2/5
Dates and musty
- 5/5
The room was beautiful, and spotless. All the staff were extremely professional, and went out of there way. I loved my stay, and I highly recommend the best western to anyone who wants the best stay around the erea. Thank you for an awesome stay. Theresa Palmer
- 3/5
The lady at the check-in counter didn't smile, engage in any conversation or even look up from her computer. The room was average, no frills, but everything worked. The free breakfast was a joke, only a few eggs, no meat, no bread other than bagel and no cereal or fruit.
- 5/5
Clean room. Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Standard breakfast of sausage meat stuff and egg matter Pattie’s it was fine and filled the bill. Other options. Easy location.
- 3/5
The staff was accommodating and friendly. Unfortunately the hotel has not been updated. The rooms were musty smelling to the point my clothes/bags smelled after I checked out. The carpet had stains and had not been cleaned in a long time. There were people grilling, drinking and playing loud music in the parking lot well into the late night. I have stayed at this location a few times over the years but will not in the future due to the current status of hotel. I did not feel safe as a single person traveling alone.
- 5/5
The staff is friendly and very helpful.
- 5/5
Bed was very comfortable.
- 3/5
I failed to mention to the staff that i killed, what appeared to be, a bedbug on my pillow. I didn't see anymore or notice any bites.
- 4/5
Most things were ok, but the TV channel selecting was abismal. You can't tell what most of the channels were and the few you could, you couldn't tell what program was on.
- 5/5
pool. convenient location
- 4/5
There were a few things: sliding doors would eliminate the struggle with the luggage cart. The breakfast hours could (and should) be extended beyond 8:30(!). The sink in my room drained verrrry slowly. The tub faucet and the toilet both wiggled a lot. Overall, an enjoyable stay, and I will put it at the top of my list next time I visit Springfield.
- 3/5
Air conditioner not working properly
- 5/5
Stayed 1 night for the state fair concert. The location was great, right off the freeway, quick drive to the fairgrounds. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast is only 6:30am-8:30am which is not a lot of time so we didn’t get to partake in that. The staff was friendly and helpful. The building you can tell is on the older side but was just what we needed for a single night stay.
- 3/5
The indoor pool was really cold so that was disappointing. Breakfast could be better. Staff was friendly. The room was ok. I would say it was ok in general but I've been to nicer best westerns
- 2/5
Service was good. Carpet in the room was dirty. Breakfast was okay.
- 2/5
Hallway smells. Bed is like sleeping on a rock. Would never stay at a best western again.
- 4/5
Was a safe area
- 3/5
The room was smelly like smoke & very dirty, the walls are actually dusty.

- 5/5
Everything was great! Service was very friendly. Great location to all of the attractions downtown. Only downside was we found ants in our room, not an infestation at all but we did find an ant in our room on four different occasions. Maybe they were due to have the exterminator come? Overall it was a great stay and we would stay there again.
- 2/5
Breakfast was excellent. But most of the problems with this hotel were due to understaffing.
- 1/5
Won't stay here again.
- 5/5
Beautiful clean rooms and nice indoor pool area. Pancake maker foe breakfast which is a hit with the kids.
- 5/5
Property was clean and well kept
- 5/5
Rooms were clean, public areas were clean and breakfast area was well supplied and clean and tidy.
- 3/5
Generally, an OK facility; it's just showing wear (wallpaper, caulking, etc.) and needs renovations. Relatively clean and despite someone on our floor ignoring the non-smoking rule, we were pleasantly surprised that our room was fine and the vent system quickly resolved the smell in the hall. Breakfast was limited, so plan to go elsewhere if variety or dietary limitations are important. The bed was comfortable enough for a decent night's sleep.
- 5/5
Very restful sleep due to the quiet surroundings.
- 5/5
Excellent stay. We will be staying here next time in town
- 4/5
Isolation
- 5/5
Loved my stay except beds NOT GOOD
- 5/5
Breakfast not what i expected
- 5/5
Good stay!
- 5/5
Room appeared to be very clean. Large mirror on the wall in room 226 was hanging very crooked, not a cleaning issue but difficult for anyone with OCD
- 4/5
Everything was good. The breakfast was disappointing also the sink nozzle was to high a pressure.
- 5/5
Easy to access. Close to shopping, restaurants and gas stations.
- 5/5
The staff are very nice and prompt to address any concerns. The place is clean and the housekeeping staff are excellent. Would recommend.
- 5/5
I was there for one night with a mate before she had major surgery. Everyone at the front desk checking in and out were extremely friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
I was surprised it had a pool. The room was clean and quiet and the staff seemed a little overworked but they were nice
- 5/5
Clean and neat room .Nice bed and comfortable pillows. Enough items for good breakfast.staff were very friendly.
- 4/5
It was very nice, except for a running toilet which I reported. Nice breakfast
- 1/5
It was horrible. They were very dirty and had a musty smell. As soon as we walked in the room we pulled the sheets back to check for bedbugs because we had heard that they had them, and there was Hair all in the bed and well, there was no sign of any bedbugs at first as we were sleeping. I felt something crawl on my arm and I looked over and there were three or four bedbugs crawling right beside me that had just fed on my arm and leg. We jumped up to the front desk and they would not refund our money just told us that they would give us another room. I am completely unsatisfied with the front desk clerk, who was very rude to us from beginning to end. I would recommend this place to no one not even my worst enemy.
- 5/5
Spacious room, plenty of towels, clean pool, easy check in. House keeping and front desk workers were kind and always ask if we needed anything .
- 4/5
Not as nice as it looked in the pictures, but was a good option for a quick stay during a road trip.
- 5/5
Great location
- 1/5
Room smelled musty like mold.
- 5/5
Stay here every year for Fair Week.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and the accomodations were excellent. Very clean
- 5/5
Loved the quiet! It was inconvenient because of the street barriers. No laundry room. Pool is almost as soon as you walk in.
- 4/5
Slept well. The AC worked great and there were real eggs for breakfast. Bathroom wasn’t super clean and breakfast eggs and coffee were not refilled.
- 1/5
The desk clerk needs attitude training! My room 202 shampoo bottle fell 3:00AM in the morning with a big bang sound and woke me up because these bottles with metal fixtures are attached with two phase tape! When in morning I asked the same girl at the desk on checking the bottle tapes needs to check and fix, she replied that why don’t you stay somewhere else! Is this an attitude problem or not? The place is rundown and appears like motel 6 with Bestwestern name on the sign. Please remove this property from your list.
- 3/5
Ok
- 4/5
Good room and sevices
- 4/5
Overall good, except some trash has not been emptied and loose Q-Tips on the bathroom counter
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
The service here was incredible, the staff member went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable.
- 3/5
Property not updated
- 3/5
Outdated. Funny smell
- 1/5
The most impressive thing about this hotel was the pancake maker at breakfast.
- 5/5
We had a very pleasant visit. the people very nice and helpful. It was very central to all we wanted to do. I would stay there again and recommend it to others.
- 4/5
There was no non pork meat for me to eat for breakfast
- 4/5
Nora (House keeping) was a jewel. She was really nice and very accommodating. Had to get our room cards redone just about everyday. Staff was good about it but, system may need updating.
- 5/5
Easy access to the city or the highway. Close to various eating options.
- 3/5
The front desk girl could be friendlier. The rooms are run down and outdated.
- 5/5
It was amazing, the staff were excellent, professional, courteous, and friendly. The only down fall was the pool was closed the first 2 days, do to some lightening issues but was reopened quickly and it was the most clear and clean pool area I have been in for a Hotel in a very long time. This being many but not all the reasons I stay at a Best Western when possible
- 2/5
There was someone elses bra in our bed, and the pool was out of service during its open hours
- 3/5
This hotel had rust all over the bathroom. Maybe at the most 25 channels. Breakfast is just a continental breakfast. Breakfast bars and rolls
- 4/5
The only downside of this stay was the pet charge. Most charge in the $10 dollar range where their charge was $40. Excessive.
- 5/5
Had a good experience need new mattress but other than that everything was good
- 4/5
Just what we needed, good value, great staff.
- 4/5
The property is a bit worn and the back of the building looks a bit sketchy at night, but everything was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was great. Was a fine place to stay while passing through the area.
- 4/5
.
- 5/5
The bed was comfortable and I had a great nights sleep. Excellent place to stay! Thank you!
- 1/5
It smelled musty. The bed was as hard and uncomfortable as sleeping on only a box spring or on the floor. Paint peeling in the bathroom. Not clean. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Way overpriced for what you get!
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 3/5
Traveler nurse..found toothbrush from previous guest in shower..breakfast did start until 7..had to be at work at 7..disappointed
- 4/5
Room was clean, and the clerk friendly. It was a bit noisy.
- 4/5
Very nice location and breakfast was nice but may have to wait to get new food to come out.
- 5/5
The location was ideal for our travel plans.
- 4/5
The staff was very polite and helpful. The room was clean. The only issue I had was my card being double charged for the reservation, which the staff quickly helped to get resolved and provided me with extra receipts to help dispute the charge.
- 5/5
Great place to stay. Nice indoor pool. Plenty of parking and quite location
- 5/5
Nice place. Quiet and clean.
- 3/5
Check-in was difficult because we’d booked on Expedia and clerk had difficulty finding. Key to room didn’t work/ replacement did. Breakfast area inside lobby just not very nice. Clean, food ok, staff was friendly and helpful; maybe a separate room or partition or something (too much like a lunch counter at a “truck stop”. Separate fee for pet was excessive at $40 plus tax. We expect a fee. Pet a small poodle. Check-out annoying in that I asked for receipt and they couldn’t/wouldn’t provide. Said it would be e-mailed. I had to follow-up next day as no e-mail receipt received. Referred to Expedia. Outside sign not lighted upon arrival about 7:00 PM. Told them it was difficult to find. We have/know how to use “maps”. Easy enough to improve, I think. Fairly new property.
- 5/5
The staff was great!
- 4/5
Comfortable stay but nervous in dimly lit parking lot at night
- 3/5
it was fine
- 1/5
This had to be the absolute dirtiest hotel I've stayed in here in the USA. I'd half way expect it in a 3rd world country, but not here. The floor was slick with grime. the tub had hair in it from previous guests. The bed was as hard as a brick. I had to wake up the front clerk when we arrived. I'd have walked out, except I had already paid and reserved the room on Hotels.com. :(
- 4/5
It was hard to see the hotel at night. The parking lot wasn’t lit either. Exterior was very drab. Breakfast area small and tucked into small lobby area. Didn’t use the pool. Room was clean, beds and pillows comfy. Carpet worn and soiled, kept our slippers on. Shower was good and hot. Toilet seat lid was broke and moved around a lot. Coffee was fine. This hotel worked for us while traveling. Wouldn’t want two nights or more.
- 3/5
Nothing special but clean. Breakfast was terrible.
- 2/5
Dirty linens
- 5/5
Stayed at this hotel overnight on our way home from a long weekend. Hotel is small but comfortable. Pool but no hot tub. Decent breakfast. A number of eating options close by but not within walking distance.
- 3/5
Breakfast was not so good. All the hot food was cold.
- 5/5
What a great motel, much better than the others we have stayed in! Great place, great staff, clean and tidy, really nice breakfast to set you for the day too. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or recommend if a motel in this are is what you are looking for then you won’t find better
- 5/5
No complaints, definitely mark this location as a favorite for the future.
- 3/5
The bed was extremely hard.
- 5/5
Over all nice but carpet could be replaced with vinyl or tile.
- 4/5
While it might not be a luxury hotel, it is very clean and the staff is very nice.
- 5/5
The facility wa great room was roomy and clean we will return loved the pool great for pets also
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
Clean smelling lobby. Check in easy. Only one cart for luggage. Room outdated. Carpeted floors needed vacuuming. Breakfast ok. Good coffee!! Nora, house keeping room good care of us. But what I DIDN'T CARE FOR was the "pet friendly" price of $30/night for my 2 cats. For what??? Too have to vacuum the room? We bring our own safety to place in bed cover. That tacked another $100+ to total. Want that nice. Just convenient to races tracks.
- 5/5
Very convenient for the long journey!
- 4/5
Area
- 5/5
Great location for Hospital visits
- 5/5
We wasn't there very much. Prefer the typical waffle maker verses the hard to figure out pancake maker. The desk clerk had to work on it to get 2-3 pancakes made. The next person couldn't get it to work.
- 5/5
Very good for a great price. Not far from the fairgrounds
- 5/5
Pool was clean. Breakfast was decent. Room was clean.
