The AC never got the room temp below 75, no matter how much you adjusted the thermostat. Weird because it was blasting full speed and 66° when we first entered, and turned it down. The pool water was cloudy, and way over chlorinated. In fact, you could smell "chlorine" (pool odor) on the third floor. Staff was great, frielndly. The bed was soft, like a down topper, very comfortable. Mattress contained in a protective bag. The breakfast area in the lobby was very good and very well stocked. The lobby and halls were very clean. In some places the wallpaper poorly adhered along the top and seams. Ice and vending well supplied. No sign of mold or mildew in our ice machine (yes, I checked - bad experience elsewhere). All in, not a bad deal. But pushing the price point. We would stay again.
- 3/5
All was well. Staff seemed a bit overwhelmed.
- 5/5
This hotel was much nicer than I expected it to be. Very clean, and very friendly staff.
- 2/5
Noise level over night was ridiculously loud. People running or stomping around it’s hard to tell. Horrible night
- 4/5
Helpful staff and hotel is maintained nicely
- 3/5
The workout room had cockroaches crawling around. I'm thankful I noticed this after I got up off the yoga mat I was using while doing ab exercises in the floor. It really grossed me out. Thankfully I didn't see any anywhere else.

- 5/5
Everything was clean, staff was helpful, location was easy to find
- 4.5/5
Great location. Comfortable bed. Didn't have the breakfast because of our timing. The bathroom sink was a deep dish like bowl that sat up on the counter.......a little too high. I'd rather have a traditional sink. Lobby had a very strong chlorine smell from the pool.
- 5/5
Great place to stay friendly staff convenient on and off the interstate to get places

Housekeeping was every 3 days. Not acceptable! The desk help was rude and really didn’t want to be bothered with getting me fresh towels. We were not impressed. We will never stay there again. We have stayed at other La Quinta, Inns and have had a much better experience.
- 3/5
Friendly staff. The room was fine, comfortable beds. However, the refrigerator was not cleaned out. There was still food from whomever was in there prior to us. The bathroom had no ventilation. Breakfast basic.

Breakfast was ok. Had minimal choices and some choice are thing you would get to snack on like mini donuts.
- 5/5
The property was clean, modern and up to date.

It’s close to the university It was dirty, felt very unsafe, it was 78 degrees in the room when we checked it (the air was turned off and it had been over 80 degrees that day), outlets were falling apart.
- 5/5
I booked a room last minute for 4 people. There were 4 towels in the bathroom (rare in the hotel industry for some reason, we normally end up with 3), place was clean and comfortable. Stay here!
- 1.5/5
I thought the lobby area was clean but it did have a chemical smell.Breakfast was ok. (1) The nite female desk clerk was very rude. She acted like she didn't want to be there. She spent most of the time out front on bench vaping and texting on her phone. (2) Room a/c unit was extremely loud. Even when you shut it off at the thermostat it continued to make squeal sound. (3) No parking-lot was totally full with alot of trucks with trailers taking up alot of spaces.I had to park across the street in a Walmart parking lot. (4) Elevator was very, very slow and floor was pretty dirty. I ended up taking the stairs but if you are unable to climb stairs then this isn't good. (5) The couch in the room was pretty gross and had pet hair on it. La Quinta seems to value pets more than people.
- 4/5
Breakfast selections were not great.
- 4/5
Breakfast waffles were good. Sausage didnt look cooked enough offerings were slim. Parking was great.
- 5/5
quiet, clean room, staff very nice, awesome wi-fi , breakfast nice and hostess prepared food with cleanliness.
- 5/5
This LaQuinta inn was one of the best I’ve stayed at. Very clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay there again if I’m ever in the area again.
- 4/5
Difficult to understand. Had to ask her three times about her question as to if I had a pet. Very mediocre breakfast! They have a nice kitchen and an attendant. Why not have some scrambled eggs? Don't like trying to make waffles!
- 5/5
The property was pretty clean and the staff was very helpful and the breakfast was great!!
- 4/5
Clean and spacious room. The couch was stained with duct tape on the arm. The AC screeched whenever it turned on. But the rest of the hotel was clean and well maintained. I was surprised that even the stairwells were nice and well maintained. There was a full hotel that night, but there was no noise leak from other areas of the hotel or other rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the young blonde lady who checked us in.

Breakfast choices were mostly all gone. TV malfunctioned. PM manager found a second remote, but it still needs to be fixed/replaced. For $190, everything should be flawless. It wasn't. But the coffee was good.
- 5/5
Need more breakfast items. The hard boiled eggs seem old. My husband had bad reactions to them.
- 5/5
Very clean, beautifully decorated
- 3/5
First impression of the lobby looked great, but our room was a bit of a wreck. The bathroom vessel sink faucet was extremely loose and we had to hold it in place before turning on the water. The carpet next ti the desk water sticky from previously spilled soda or some kind of sugar drink. The couch had duct tape across the couch arm. The ice machine on the 3rd floor didn’t work. The elevator rumbles and groans and makes you wonder if your going to be stranded inside.

- 5/5
Excellent property. Definitely playing above its weight among hotels in the price range. Front office staff was outstanding. Property and rooms very clean. Only possible issue might be for short folks. Bathroom sink was several inches higher than norm, even for typical higher bathroom counters.

The pool The morning we woke up, there were ants anywhere. They were on my 5 year old in bed and on the sofa, the tables, crawling on our luggage in the corner. I called and asked for a different room and they said they would call back. I waited 30 minutes in the ant infested room with 3 kids and decided to call Booking to tell them and state we will going elsewhere. After another 30 minutes, the property offers to spray the room for ants. We said no thank you. At checkout I was told the manager said he could not refund the unused nights, but could only give another room. We just went elsewhere. Also, the very nice lady at check in at night seemed to be very medicated on something.

Overall very nice experience, there was some questionable staining on the chair in our room so we just avoided using it but otherwise nice clean room and good breakfast options.
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 4/5
The breakfast was weak, every day tasteless biscuits and gravy, when they had not run out of biscuits and the customers had not dropped the waffle or sausage gravy everywhere. The rest of the available items were limited to toastable items, yogurt or really bad coffee. After 2 days of this we finally gave up and went out for breakfast. Overall the stay was fine, we will just look for another establishment that more meets our needs for our visit next year.
- 5/5
The breakfast buffet was terrible
- 4.5/5
Comfy beds, good breakfast. Fruit juice at breakfast tasted watered down.

Checking in host was very nasty she had a attitude I simply asked questions and she answered with a shitty response as well as cutting me off. I had complained to the lady at the desk the next day she told me I can address it to the manager I had gave him my number she said he will contact me that day never heard anything. I called the next day talked to another person .except a call from the manager waited all day no call again. I'm in customer service I would never have done that.

I liked the washroom mostly and also liked the breakfast.

When I checked prices recently it's $30 per night cheaper. than the hilton garden in and also not requiring a deposit for each day you're there. They do provide breakfast free of charge and its decent food.

Surly front desk staff refused to work with Booking.com to document her approval of my refund request for a reservation I bungled...we arrived a day earlier than planned. She verbally approved the refund but refused to put it in writing, which Booking.com requires. Boo to both for being in business together...without doing business. Amy at the desk insisted verbal authorizations of refunds suffices, while Booking.com insists they can't refund without written (email or chat) authorization. What's to like?

I like it because it was in a good location right across the street from Walmart. What I did not like because my room was not cleaned thoroughly, someone’s food was left in the refrigerator and was smelling, someone had a dog that barked for a while and their breakfast could have been better.
- 5/5
The beds need to be more comfortable, like a pillow top.
- 4/5
Room was ok, the maid had not emptied the bathroom garbage from precious guest, towel rack was not completely secured to the wall, and bathroom faucet moved. But bed was comfortable and room was generally clean. Staff was friendly on check in but not at desk when we left.
- 3/5
Bathroom sink was missing the stopper. Breakfast was just the minimum. Ice machines on floors four and three weren’t working. There were no carts available for moving luggage.
- 3/5
The lock on our door did not line up, so we could not completely secure the room at night.
- 1/5
I reached out to Wyndham but the fact that this particular location is privately owned, they could do anything.
- 5/5
Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was nice, pool was open, breakfast was ok.
- 4/5
Room and bathroom could be updated a bit more. There was rust stains in the tub and areas around the tub at the floor needed redone. Beds were very firm. Property was quiet, breakfast was decent and the pool was nice.

Comfortable, clean and carpeted room with full bath... sink, stool and shower all in one room. Comfortable bed and nice linens. Adequate breakfast with variety of dining seating options. Most of the staff pleasant, accommodating and helpful. Parking is good, even with a small trailer. Bathroom sink stylish but sits too high on counter for shorter folks to use it. Couches in the suites need new cushions. They have ben recovered but need more filling. Elevator continues to make interesting noises. Have been assured of its safety but always wonder.

The fact that out of 10 rooms, despite a reservation and payment, this hotel was able to provide us with at least 8 We arrived, and the person who introduced herself as the manager told us that of the 10 rooms we had booked, two weren't ready yet. This can happen, and we waited almost an hour for the other eight rooms to be checked in. At the end of this long and arduous process, the manager finally told us that the Booking platform had made a mistake and had only booked eight rooms. Then, for no apparent reason, she became angry. She became aggressive, insulting, and threatening. The group was stunned by this behavior, and we ended up occupying all eight rooms and booking rooms at another hotel. However, we still had to pay for all ten rooms, as the hotel had requested in a message. It was a particularly unpleasant and traumatic experience for our group. My job is to manage trips all over the world, and I have never encountered an accommodation manager with such behavior. Windham is a large group and our main accommodation provider in the USA. We are now forced to reconsider our position regarding its hotels.

They charged me to send a package but never provided any tracking number or shipping information. Even sending the package was unnecessarily difficult. When I later tried to get the tracking number and basic information, they kept putting me on hold and refused to properly speak with me. I called again and was simply told “I don’t know” before the staff member hung up the phone. The manager also refused to explain the situation or provide any help. Extremely rude, unprofessional, and unacceptable customer service.

This is a very average hotel. The sink in the bathroom is so impractical, the pillows on our king size bed were not even standard size. They were almost square. Breakfast was just ok. Also, the thermostat for the HVAC was not functioning correctly. Had it set to 70 degrees but we were sweating. Actually had to turn the AC on when outdoor temps were in the 30s and 40s. Meanwhile the hallways were COLD. The pool was murky and cloudy. After about 30minutes my kids complained that their skin was stinging. Sounds like too much chlorine.

The location was great, breakfast was pretty good. Elevator was so slow waited over 4 minutes to go up one flight, so we ended up using the stairs. It had snowed and the sidewalks were not cleared and I slipped several times. Also staff member was not available at 7 am to checkout, had to look for them for over 5 minutes even after repeatedly ringing their bell. I went and got the kitchen staff to help go back in the administrative offices to locate someone and he didn’t seem to care, no apology, didn’t ask about my stay or anything.

Very modern, up to date hotel. Pet friendly ( up to 2 dogs or cats accepted w/ nightly fee $15 per pet). Clean, comfortable room with closet ( many hotels don't have true closet anymore). Room also has: Basic coffee machine ( not Keurig), small fridge and microwave in room. Continental Breakfast with only a couple hot items. Day I checked out hot breakfast was pork sausage and biscuits w/ gravy and I don't eat pork ☹️) . Hotel right by Walmart and Golden Corral restaurant, otherwise have to drive for places to eat.

- 5/5
I always stay at LaQuinta when I stay in Springfield (3-4 times per year). It’s so convenient to the locations I frequent, it’s clean, and staff are friendly. I would recommend some suggestion to breakfast (sausages should be browned, have peanut butter, out of decaf coffee before 7:30)

We booked for my daughter softball tournament. And we pick the option to pay at the hotel. Not only did they try to run my card, but they tried to charge it twice. Which I then got two separate phone calls in15 min a phone call saying they wanted to confirm my stay. I called back immediately just to find out they canceled my stay because they couldn’t charge My card on file which I have it locked until i get to the property. We check in it was a mess but that’s ok it was late and we were all tired. We got a king suite which had the roll out bed for my two younger daughter only to find it had red stains. Gross. We called the front desk and he said he would be right up. We put the girls in our bed after searching it and when they preceded to try and turn on the tv while we waited that didn’t work either. We told the gentlemen and all he could say was ok nothing else, no other room offer, And he left. Being that at this point it’s 1:00 am we tried to get some sleep because my daughter has early softball not staying another night in that’s room we went to check out. We told the young girl at the front we were checking out and gave her a run down of our experience and we wanted to speak to the GM who was not there btw. We left our contact information. This was on the 20th still have not received any communication from the hotel. We actually had to reach out to hotel.com and they proceeded to help as best as we could. They told us the hotel denied our refund. Worst experience.

- 4/5
Nice clean room. Nice staff. Nice decorations. Some of the bedding had stains on them or I would have given a 5 star. Will probably stay here again.
- 4/5
Nice room pet friendly
- 4/5
The room was exactly what I was hoping for and the staff was very helpful in locating a good local (not a chain) restaurant.
- 5/5
Clean rooms friendly staff
- 4/5
Clean room, OK food. Staff OK.

The first room we got put in, the ceiling was leaking when we went down to tell the front desk the lady was rude and told us it’s probably just the snow melting but we will put you in a diffrent room, puts us in another room it was clean, sheets were dirty, the staff was just rude anytime we asked for something.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean rooms, simple but good breakfast, and overall nice facility. However, the chlorine in the pool was very strong and just sitting poolside it burned my eyes. We would stay here again, though!
- 5/5
Clean, nice staff
- 5/5
The room was very clean, very nice staff, good breakfast.
- 5/5
Room was clean. Check in good. Staff was friendly.
- 1/5
Gave me the wrong room I pre paid for and didn’t tell me at check in
- 4/5
Everyone was courteous, room was clean. Breakfast was adequate.
- 4/5
Room was clean, area was relatively quiet. Mary at the front desk was great.
- 1/5
My room wasn't clean bed had hair and crumbs staff wan't helpful.
- 5/5
Wonderful stay
- 3/5
The staff was nice. However, the room was not updated. The tub had rust stains, and the shower curtain was not clean.
- 5/5
The room was spotless, the bed was firm and excellent . Got the best night sleep in a while.
- 3/5
Poor water pressure

I was charged for staying at the property hut upon going to the atm to get my deposit money the front desk clerk locked the door. So, at three am in the morning after traveling 9 hours in a car I didn’t have a place to stay, but assured me that he would be there and I could get in my room as soon as I got back. My bank was literally 3 miles down the street. So, I was gone maybe 15 minutes. He told me he didn’t think I was coming back and he wasn’t doing my check in. When he also assured me on the phone the 2 times I spoke to him about arriving so late that it would be okay and my room was ready!

Easy check in and internet access. Coffee at all hours - great for early risers like myself. Room was clean. Noise was minimal.
- 3/5
Check in started at 3, we arrived about 3:45 and couldn't get into our room until 4:45. Made for a long wait after traveling.

The poor whites was another disaster mixed in. Rampant alcoholism in the lobby amongst the parents, red solo cups and Jack Daniel’s out in the open. They’ve set up kids hockey nets and we’re having full on 5v5 in tge lobby. The kids reek of cigarettes, they’re running around the entire hotel where you think elephants are stampeding. What’s odd is that there’s so much space outside but no, this is being done deep into the hours of the night. What sucks is that this hotel is pretty nice under all of that. The hotel is well maintained for the most part. The rooms are clean. The location is decent. But the staff having no control over the inhabitants in this was a disaster.
- 5/5
Staff were hospitable. The facility was well kept up. Our room was comfortable and clean.
- 5/5
The staff was friendly, the room decently clean and well maintained. It was a positive stay!
- 3/5
Room was clean, bed was comfortable, and breakfast was alright, but tried to call down to the desk twice and the first time was hung up on after repeatedly trying to be heard, the second time, they again couldn't seem to hear anything I was saying. Half the reason we booked this hotel was because the room was supposed to have a tub/shower combination and it only had a stand up shower.
- 5/5
Very clean and comfortable. Pillows were very good mattresses were extremely comfortable. The only downside was that the body wash in the shower was empty.
- 5/5
Great hotel breakfast was awful
- 5/5
Very nice
- 3/5
The bed was clean there was hair in the tub and on toilet. The cloth chair was real dirty and the room smelled like urine. They do allow pets so maybe that is why. However for the price and the small amount of time in in the room it was doable.

Nice clean room.
- 5/5
Convenient location
- 5/5
Room good it faced Walmart and we watched everyone running in n out!!
- 2/5
The thermostat didn't work and the heater didn't turn on . Staff said they would call maintenance as the room became colder never offered a space heater or to move rooms. Vert disappointed.
- 5/5
It was clean
- 2/5
First room, the toilet wouldn’t flush. Second room had stained sheets. Third room had a mildewy bathroom
- 4/5
The room was clean and front desk was friendly

- 4/5

- 1/5
AC did not work in my room and it took 3 x requests for a person to act and Mo w me to another room. Manages by non-Americans and don’t give a hoot!
- 4/5
The only problem we had with the property is it was below 0 out and the heat wasnt turned on in our room so it was 50 degrees in the room and after 3 hours with heat on 84 it was only up to 60, by the time we went to bed it was up to 65 and by the time we got up it was finally 72 in our room
- 3/5
Dead bolts on doors didn’t work.
- 1/5
The people who run the place are horrible people. They do not care about people going to your rooms. When they are the cleaners to steal things, they lie, they are not cooperating with anything because they think they are always right? And they allow their cleaning crew into rooms whenever it had the do not disturb on the door
- 1/5
The staff was horrible. They allowed the cleaning people in rooms when they had a sign up.Do not disturb money went missing. The front desk was no help.Whatsoever, they were just flat out, horrible people.I would never suggest anybody staying at this hotel because the people who work behind the front counter were pathetic, they were just flat out pathetic
- 4/5
The hotel is nice, the hotel was clean, the accommodations were more than adequate, and the staff was friendly, except that no one seemed concerned or did anything about it when I reported that their back parking lot was treacherous for a 75-year-old woman. The lot was covered in snow and ice that had frozen and refrozen and the mat by the back entry was just a sheet of ice.
- 4/5

Clean environment
- 5/5
Didn’t do breakfast had to leave early. The parking lot was covered with ice should have been salted the snow had packed down and the ice was frozen into ruts very unsafe!!!! Room was great clean and nice . The staff was very nice and helpful . Big issue was Indoor pool in advertising pool room was 50 degrees and very cold pool didn’t say it wasn’t heated who does not heat a pool in the winter especially when you have children What a disappointment for them .The advertising about indoor pool should state not heated so people taking winter trip don’t get their money taken thinking they are taking children on a winter break and get shafted .
- 5/5
My wife and I enjoyed our 2-night stay at La Quinta. We shall certainly plan to return pretty soon. The staff were all professional and polite. The buffet breakfast was great. For the room,it was home away from home.
- 4/5
yes good
- 5/5
Clean room, hot showers and friendly staff.
- 5/5
Both, however a baby was crying all night November 28th and could not sleep that night. Parking lot snow was not removed in a timely manner.
- 4/5
The breakfast was simple, but there was plenty of coffee. But for the price it was at the right price point.
- 5/5
Safe and quiet. Clean rooms.
- 5/5
Wonderful stay. Clean beds and rooms. Minimal noise. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is great. Would definitely recommend
- 4/5
The hotel could use some maintenance but the room was comfortable and clean.
- 1/5
Tried to take my 50 dollars of the 150 due to my hair color staining the sheets as they say until they washed them
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff was friendly, breakfast had options
- 3/5
Food was left in room & when staff waz told I was offered a rag.
- 4/5
Room clean but needed some bathroom repairs.
- 3/5
The security locks on door did not work. The dog in the room next to us barked...and we like dogs.
- 5/5
1st, the staff was so friendly. Very welcoming, definitely great customer service both at check in and check out. 2nd, THE ROOM, AMAZING. My boyfriend is disabled and in a powerchair, this requires us to travel with a travel hoyer lift to be able to get him in and out of bed. For the first time, I think that whoever designed this accessible room either does use the equipment that we do or is very close to someone who is. Or I guess they may have actually consulted simmering with disabilities and asked what their ideal room set up is. The only thing I would change about the room is lose the carpet and make the whole room smooth flooring, that’s only because it’s hard to push the hoyer lift while he’s in it on the carpet no matter how thin. The bathroom, fabulously designed. The bed, not only extremely comfortable but this is only the second room we’ve ever stayed in that is actually very very accessible. we didn’t have to use the hoyer lift in the bathroom but i was curious had we needed to, could we. YES. We were absolutely blown away not only by the size and arrangement of the room but also the cleanliness. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good place to stay. but I feel like there is rarely any review on the level of accommodations they make at hotels.
- 5/5
Wonderful evening host. Excellent room cleanliness. Breakfast cleanliness was very good. Parking was excellent. Disappointed about the breakfast variety but beggars cannot be choosers. As they say, you get what you pay for. I didn’t starve.
- 2/5
Did get know sleep I heard nosey all night all morning coming from hotel
- 5/5
Breakfast in Nashville was very minimal. Was able to eat a waffle, but not able to have other condiments other than syrup. I'm not a fan of maple, so i will put jelly or peanut butter. Only other thing to put on my waffle was butter. Drank coffee and juice. No fresh fruit or yogurt.
- 1/5
Arrived to a room that had dirty towels, hair on the shower and had gone down to see if I could switch rooms or get clean towels I was told she would bring some up shortly, that never happened. I also called the front desk this morning to inform that the heat was not working unless it was set on 80 and that the water would only be warm when turned all the way to the hot position. When I asked what could be done and that i was thinking of getting another night the gentleman working told me to find another hotel since I complained about the room. Two days I asked for towels and also never had my room cleaned yesterday while out.
- 4/5
Kids enjoyed the pool! Room was good - the air conditioning/heater was loud,. Breakfast was decent. We'd stay again!
- 2/5
Not good
- 5/5
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, I visited for the weekend friendly and great associates. I definitely will be back highly recommended
- 3/5
Breakfast was pretty empty. I ate at 9:00, no biscuits or sausage. The lady running breakfast refilled with maybe 6 biscuits and sausage and then sat down to eat too? A big group came down and I was lucky to get the last biscuit but no sausage left again.

FACILITY IS CLEAN, STAFF ARE FRIENDLY. LOCATION IS FINE FOR WHERE I NEEDED TO BE. I HAVE STAYED HERE SEVERAL TIMES OVER THE LAST YEAR OR SO, AND USUALLY EVERYTHING IS GREAT. MY LAST 2 VISITS HAVE BEEN DISAPPOINTING. IN AUGUST THE ELEVATOR WASN'T WORKING FOR THE 1ST OR 2ND FLOOR. YOU HAD TO TAKE THE STAIRS TO FLOOR 2 IF YOU WANTED TO USE THE ELEVATOR TO FLOOR 4. MY VISIT THE WEEKEND OF NOV. 8TH & 9TH, ALL PWAS GOOD UNTIL THE DAY OF CHECKOUT. I WALK OUT TO LOAD MY CAR AND THE MACHINE THAT WAS BEING USED TO PAINT THE BUILDING PARKED RIGHT TO ME AND IT WAS DIFFICULT GETTING IN THE PASSENGER DOOR. I DON'T KNOW THE CORRECT NAME FOR THE MACHINE, BUT IT IS A LIFT THE STRECTHES OUT TO THE BUILDING FOR REPAIRS. I WISH THEY WOULD'VE BLOCKED THOSE SPOTS OFF SO WE DIDN'T HAVE TO NEAR THE MACHINE. IT WAS FRUSTRATING BUT OVERALL IT WAS A FINE EXPERIENCE
- 3/5
Saw some roaches in the room.
- 1/5
And the dead bolt on the door would not latch.
- 5/5
Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and very friendly
- 5/5
Lovely room!
- 3/5
The lobby is gorgeous. That's where it ends. My room had a black smudge across the top of the comforter that was obvious. There was missing trim along the floor and lots of dings in drywall and paint throughout the hotel. The shower had spiderwebs with dead bugs at the ceiling and it wasn't super clean. Breakfast was the least options of any hotel offering breakfast that I've stayed at. The coffee and hot water for tea was luke warm at best. Evening staff outside more than inside. I had to go out and get her to fix my key card. The beds.... they were hard as bricks. Wouldn't stay here again.
- 3/5
Bobby was amazing in helping me book the room for another night. The only downside is we had spiders in our room. When I told the front desk about it and even had videos the woman at the front didn’t seem phased at all. We won’t stay at this one again for sure. There was no conversation to try and right the situation or fix it even for the next guest. So again, won’t be staying but Bobby from the previous day was kind and so helpful! It was a stressful trip and for that I’m grateful!
- 4/5
Chair in room had dirty cover on it. Windows had plastic on outside, couldn't see outside.
- 3/5
Breakfast every table dirty, kitchen not stocked. Employee sitting at table playing on her phone and later watching a child. Room was good except bathroom and think black mold in shower. Have stayed a few times and things have been good. This time not so much. Also doing improvements outside on building and have white paint spots on my car
- 3/5
Our door didn’t lock - drywall dust on the bathroom floor so that means the floor probably doesn’t get washed. Stains on bed. Stains on the ceiling. Zero water pressure in the bathroom sink
- 5/5
The room was very nice and staff was friendly
- 2/5
The bathroom door was broken ..
- 5/5
The room was spotless and the Lobby is clean. Elevator though makes a lot of noise! Staff is freindlt and helpful.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly and professional, but there were two occasions when I stood at the front desk waiting for someone to appear. One of those times, I waited about four minutes and rang the bell about 10 times. Could the hotel be a little understaffed? Breakfast was good for a complimentary amenity. Hot options like breakfast meat, biscuits and gravy, waffle maker, toaster, etc. also fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, etc. Food was fresh. Parking lot was clean and we'll lit and appeared safe. I have stayed in this hotel at least a dozen times, and it is one of the best bangs for the buck in Springfield.
- 5/5
Perfect room!
- 3/5
They are doing some remodeling so that may be why my score is lower as I have stayed here before and the place is showing its age with wear and tear. I hope the next time I’m there, things are finished and back to the level it has been in the past.
- 5/5
Breakfast had good food and was kept stock by a nice lady.Thank you.

everything was good except we stayed there because of the pool and it was soo cold it was miserable. wouldnt even turn in the heat in that room. so it was cold! dont go for the pool
- 5/5
Very night, I love the bright decorations in the hoyer
- 5/5
Cleanliness of hotel rooms and common areas. The decor from a taste and quality perspective was at a much higher caliber than similarly positioned hotels.
- 4/5
Parking area well lit up at night. Traveled with pet room. Room was very clean and bathroom was spotless.very new looking.Carpet inGood shape in common hallways very clean and well Lit. One drawback is if you have a room by a stairwell. The doors are very noisy when they close and you do hear them in your room. Could use a new toilet seat in the common area men's washroom and remove graffiti written on wall. Otherwise very good stay. would stay again
- 3/5
Constant smell of pot throughout the hotel. Front desk clerk did not code our door keys correctly. Had to have them redone twice.
- 4/5
We always stay there.
- 5/5
Everything was EXCELLENT!
- 3/5
Need more fruit variety as I'm vegetarian, which I'm aware most hotels do not service but having various fruit certainly would help.
- 3/5
The location is good and the facility is clean. Rooms are nice, but this is the second time that I have stayed there in less than a year and for the second time, the hair dryer was broken. Maintenance should be a little more proactive in checking room/facility condition.
- 5/5
Great place to stay when visiting my daughter at UIS. Appreciate the free breakfast however there not much of a variety and the food quality is not so good.
- 4/5
Was a nice place to stay. They allow dogs, and during the day heard barking. At night it was pretty quiet though.
- 5/5

WHAT A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I HAD TO WONDER IF I WAS DEALING WITH PEOPLE THAT THOUGHT THEY RUNNING A CRACK HOTEL. I HAVE NEVER HAD HOTEL STAFF ACT SO TRASHY IN MY LIFE. I WILL BE GETTING A HOLD OF HIGHER UPS, MY ATTORNEY AND STATE REPRESENTATIVE AS THEY ARE THE ONES THAT EMPLOYEE ME.
- 5/5
Everything was very good
- 5/5
Second night staying here for the weekend. Really nice and clean.
- 2/5
Breakfast limited, no running water, had to wait 1.5 days for a new room. Phone didnt work in room. Laundry room locked with my clothes inside. Took more than 30 min with me waiting to have someone unlock room. Bathroom dirty in both rooms i was given.
- 5/5
Overall price for this property was a tad bit higher in price than some of the cheaper ones but far better all around, it also included breakfast which was a plus. I have stayed in about 5 different motels during my trips to Springfield IL. We visit family there usually once a year and this property topped the rest. Very clean, safe, quiet and walkable to a few restaurants and has a Walmart beside it. We will be staying here on future visits.
- 1/5
Very dirty, in poor condition, elevator sounds awful and is extremely slow and shaky.
- 5/5
Great breakfast. Clean room and lobby. Polite staff.
- 5/5
I like La Quinta... Not too fancy, not too expensive, DOG FRIENDLY!
- 5/5
Wonderful
- 5/5
Very clean room!
- 5/5
Nice staff. Clean comfortable room. Lots of good parking. I liked that entry doors required card keys. Next to Walmart. Fridge and microwave. Breakfast. Nice hotel!
- 5/5
I was very impressed with this motel. Very nice decor, friendly front desk person, rooms were updated and very clean. We plan on staing here when we return for the car show next year. If we need to travel in the area again we would use this motel again.
- 3/5
Early in morning there was loud pounding from some construction in the stairwell near my room. It was very obnoxious.
- 4/5
Hotel was nice.
- 5/5
clean and bright!
- 5/5
Very quiet and I had a great rest!
- 5/5
I had an ideal experience for my stay.. the room was clean and cool. When I contacted front desk regarding the remote to the tv. Someone came and brought a remote to control our tv. Making the rest of our stay pleasant. We were right beside Walmart make it super convenient to grab snacks
- 2/5
Couch has duct tape, elevator broken, pool super cloudy, breakfast is store bought.
- 5/5
Great stay, easy access for getting around Springfield and very reasonable price. Will definitely stay here next time we are in the area.

Reeked of marijuana and check-in was high on something else. Very bizarre behavior. Not impressed!!
- 5/5
Good
- 2/5
Elevator would only go down so had to walk up stairs to get to my room. Beds are not comfortable. I doubt we will stay here unless it is the only place available
- 1/5
First floor BUTTON and ONLY ELEVATOR ON THE PROPERTY WASNT WORKING you had to go up or down. Only person on staff didnt answer bell at the front desk for about 10 minutes after arrival while line started to form about their room being 80 degrees. Our air conditioning wasnt on either and just as hot. Having one person work the evening shift for the entire hotel at 8pm is ridiculous. We stay at la Quintas all the time since we have a mini goldendoodle and they allow dogs. This is the first time we have had a miserable experience getting checked and getting to our room. This is the only La Quinta we would never dream of staying at again. We will be calling Expedia and Wyndham corporate about this to be compensated/credited considering we are wyndham platinum members.
- 3/5
Elevator stopped working on a Friday. Stairway hall light burnt out. Were not tended to. Biscuits and gravy every single day (to our disappointment). No 24/7 coffee. Three Star hotel.
- 4/5
Everything was amazing, the only issue was the breakfast. The juice tasted extremely watered down, they didnt have any gravy for the biscuits, they had run out an hour before breakfast closed. The sausage was good. So were the waffles. So all in all, it was decen.
- 5/5
Big room. Clean
- 5/5
Quiet, easy access to restaurants and shopping. Very friendly staff.

- 4/5
The place is quiet and clean, and the staff is always attentive.
- 1/5
All i can say is stay somewhere else!!! From check-in to when we left, was completely a mess. Unprofessional, not clean, 2 broken lamps, broken tiles on bathroom floor that was covered up with an outdoor rug. System went down at 225pm and nobody could check-in until almost 4pm. Kids running/screaming up and down the hallways until past 11pm and of course our room phone didn't work so we had to go down to front desk and they told us there was nothing they could do. I'm not a "Karen" but this was just so unreasonable.
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and polite. The room was clean but, the fan in the heating/AC unit was a bit noisy.
- 5/5
Very nice place
- 5/5
This hotel is very close to a softball complex in Springfield. It is ckean, comfortable and quiet. They also serve a great breakfast. I will use this hotel.again.
- 1/5
When I reported it to the front desk, I was shocked to be told they could give me spray so I could handle the ants myself. That’s completely unacceptable. Guests should never be expected to perform their own pest control. I contacted Wyndham Hotels expecting help, but instead I was told to wait a week for the property to respond. After all of that, I was offered just 15,000 points. Meanwhile, I had to leave and get another hotel. I am out nearly $400.00 from this experience. This was more than an inconvenience—it was a health and safety issue. The lack of cleanliness, accountability, and customer care was beyond disappointing. I would never recommend this property, and I will not be staying with Wyndham again.
- 1/5
I found ants in my room. When I reported it, the front desk told me they could give me spray so I could handle it myself. This is completely unacceptable. Guests should never be asked to perform pest control. It’s a health and safety issue and far below the standards expected from your brand.
- 5/5
Seemed very clean and cozy
- 3/5
Staff was helpful and courteous. However, general hotel condition was average - swimming pool was cloudy, breakfast was average (primarily starch items like waffles, donuts and cereal). Room cleanliness was ok, but floorboard in bathroom was loose and cabinet door for refrigerator wouldn't close.
- 1/5
Upon arrival I was told that the deposit would be automatically refunded to my card after checkout. I called a day after check out and was told 2-3 business days. After that I called and was told 5-6 business days. My refund still has not been refunded.
- 1/5
When I noticed a bunch of ants in the room I called the front desk to ask for a change of room. The staff told me I could not move because they have no rooms and that. Should have told them sbout ants when I moved in. This tells me she knew it was an ant problem when I moved in.she was rude and very disrespectful.
- 5/5
The hotel had a beautiful design to it with Alice in Wonderland look. Loved the different artwork prints and the lighting fixtures the clock in the hall so many beautiful accent and pieces.L
- 5/5
Staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel was nice and clean
- 5/5
The continental breakfast is very good, clean kitchen and enough food for everyone.
- 3/5
It’s a decent option for a short stay, especially since it's the closest hotel to my destination. It was good enough for a two-night visit. However, the strong chlorine smell from the pool fills the lobby and check-in area, making it feel humid and damp. The breakfast was underwhelming, with limited options and below-average quality.
- 5/5
Nice hotel overall
- 2/5
Most of the staff did not speak english, so made it impossible to get help. THe lobby and public area was decorated with incredibly tacky kitch that was not the image of lA Quinta. I chose this property because of the consistency of the brand, but this exploded that idea. Really disliked this stay.

BED BUGS and MOLDY ODOR - Stay Away. When I informed them I had several bed bug bites the day after, they downplayed it and I am still waiting for a manager to call me back.
- 1/5
Mattress was wet and had boogers stuck to the side.
- 2/5
The only 2 things saving this hotel from zero stars, is the late night staff at the front desk was very friendly and the breakfast was good. Otherwise, we will never stay here again. We arrived late after a long day of driving. We had all of our stuff barely balanced in our arms. The room smelled terrible when we entered. We quickly realized the carpet in the room was soaking wet. Not just a little damp from humidity. It smelled like rotten fruit and wet dog. Clearly a staff member had been in the room recently, because the AC was blasting, probably trying to dry the wet carpet. We were exhausted and just kept shoes on and fell asleep. So gross. When we checked in, we were told it was really full and we were lucky to get a room, otherwise we might have dragged all our stuff back downstairs to ask for a new room. At least our car was safe on the very crowded parking lot.
- 1/5
I booked a room with a king bed and a “living area” with a pull out sofa bed. The king bed had a stained comforter, there was an absolutely horrific mattress on the pull out couch, so much so that my son couldn’t even sleep on it, trash and goldfish crackers in the air conditioner slats, broken tile on the floor of the bathroom that is raised and jagged and I cut my toe on, the shower floor was covered in some kind of soapy film that made it dangerously slippery. We were given only two threadbare towels that smelled of mildew. In fact, the whole room reeked of mold. And to top all of that off, one tv would not turn on at all and the other had “no service” to the cable box. I attempted to speak to the front desk but was told that I had to wait until after I checked out to speak to a manager. I showed them the photos of the mattress and the broken tile and filthy air conditioner and all they said was “ok.” Didn’t even ask my name or what room number. So there’s probably not much of a chance that any of these items will be addressed. Good luck if you stay there.
- 5/5
Good place to stay
- 4/5
It was nice breakfast waa great. Pool was awesome as well. Told me there was no more extra towels only had 3 for 5 people though. Other than that pretty awesome definately best deal in town.
- 1/5
I had a 2 night stay and wanted to go to another hotel for the second night. I was told that I missed that by 1 minute and would be charged for the second night. Mind you it was 7:01 pm on the first night. Very frustrating to say the least. I also came down on the second night looking for fresh towels. She looked at her watch and told me I would have to wait 2 and half hours. The room was $204 per night you would think you would have better service.
- 4/5
Very good
- 2/5
I won’t make this mistake again. One elevator that was slow and popped and cracked. I didn’t feel safe in it. No air in the common areas so the hallways were unbelievably hot. The beds were like sleeping on rocks, the floor would have been softer. The air conditioning in our room was a super loud roar that would wake you up every time it came on. The fake tile in the shower was separating from the wall. I was very disappointed. One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in was this brand so that’s what I was expecting. Definitely not worth what I paid.
- 3/5
The breakfast could have had more options. Maybe some scrambled eggs. Other than that, it was clean. Normal wear for a hotel.
- 5/5
The staff was great, overall I was comfortable and it was clean.
- 2/5
Seems modern and clean in photos but in reality it is very outdated and poorly maintained. The elevator felt hazardous, our room smelled musty and the bedding felt wet, the store was mostly empty, no clean towels available the next morning. Every guest I encountered had their own complaints. The staff was pleasant and you can tell they’re trying but the photos of the hotel are very deceiving
- 1/5
Had a prepaid room. When we showed up they said they couldn’t find record of the booking. Front desk person then tried to sell us a room for $250 a night in cash. We offered to pay with a card and work with the manager in the morning to work out the situation as it was a late night check in, but they would only take cash. Working with Expedia to resolve this issue, but hotel has been unwilling to work. We are Expedia Platinum member and have never had an issue. This hotel may be nice inside, but extremely shady business practices. For the record, the Comfort Inn and Suites right down the road helped us get a room during this mess and their staff were amazing

We stayed for the State fair. Very nice hotel. Plenty of room. Location was great. The pool had a lot of chlorine in it so we could'nt swim for very long but it was still fine for a quick dip after a hot day at the fair.

Suffice to say I wouldn’t stay here again.

Nice room, decent amenities, great value.

Everything was great except the carpet was dirty. Its needs shampooed and vacuumed more often.

I was satisfied with the property, location, and room EXCEPT the interior dead bolt in room 405 would not lock against the door jam and there was no interior door knob lock- this made me feel very uncomfortable that the only lock I had at night was the door jam.

Fairly new, staff leaved a bit to be desired. Maids were on their phones, and on breakfast staff person was wearing pajama bottoms.

Very clean and new

La Quinta at the intersection of 55 and 72 is a great stopover. The receptionist was OUTSTANDING and she even pretended to be a Disney character to make the little kids with us laugh. We pass through the area frequently and wouldn't hesitate to stay there. A suggestion would be to have water fountains with water bottle refill capabilities to make it more convenient and ecofriendly. We also had some difficultly finding an ice maker that worked.

Easy access to Walmart

This property was clean, quiet, and well priced and very close to the UIS Softball Complex which is perfect when you have an early morning game.

Check was great. Breakfast average. Room had sugar ants and everytime I took a shower it would grow mold on ceiling. They need to use a paint that is mold resistant. Need to use a primer and high sheen paint.

Rooms have mold, had to change rooms 3 times . Ants on the tables and in the air conditioner unit. Every room was not very clean. Extremely disappointed!!

Okay for a LaQuinta, very convenient, staff was acceptable. I don't know if we would stay here again, but its possible.

Bed was super hard but rest of stay was nice

Everything and everyone to did a great job! My only complaint is the poor lighting in the room, but that’s in 95% of hotels I stay at. So there’s probably not much that could be done other than another lamp. But overall, we would definitely stay here again, so thank you for the genuinely wonderful hospitality!

The room was clean, beds were comfortable, the corridor was very hot and the air conditioning did not work, the breakfast did not replenish the dishes that had run out

Nice, modern building.

A lot of families in town with children and I appreciate Mary putting on a floor that was quiet and away from kids. Bathroom smelled a bit like sewage in the sink may need to pour bleach or drainino.. carpet a bit musty n a few stains on the duvet that I took pictures of but overall it was pretty good. I appreciate the breakfast.

Just what we needed after a long car ride.

The beds were exceptionally comfortable, including the pillows. It made for a good night's rest for weary travelers.

Clean, inviting lobby with friendly staff that even recommended a very good Mexican food restaurant to us. Room was clean and spacious and everything in it worked! Would definitely stay again if we’re ever back in the area.

It would have been a nice place to stay except the dead bolt on the room door was broken and staff said there was nothing they could do about it.

It was a moth in the room !!

nice friendly

I enjoyed the decor, it was inviting. The elevator was slow and made extra noise, but rather uneventful. Our room smelled pleasant, room was nice. The TV didn't turn on, the front desk tried to be helpful over the phone. We ended up figuring out a plug wasn't in.. my only other issue was the generic wobbly plastic toilet seat that moved when you say on it.

Stayed for one night, paid online. When I checked in I had $150 deposit that I was fine with and I was told I would get it back at checkout the next morning. It has now been almost a month and I still do not have my $150 back. I do not think the room itself with its problems and how long I was actually in the room was worth $270. I have called multiple times and get a different person/ an answer every single time.

We asked for clean towels and we had to come to the front desk to pick them up. We were told our room couldn’t be cleaned and straightened up because we weren’t staying more than two days.

Great breakfast Friendly staff

The lobby was nice and clean. I understand this a dog friendly hotel, but the “dog smell” in the elevator was horrible. The room was okay, bathroom looked clean but didn’t smell so clean and no exhaust fan either to help smell go away.

Seemed understaffed and several things in the common areas and rooms felt as if general maintenance was an issue.

Bedspread and sheets were filthy Sink did not drain TV did not work Couch and floor were absolutely disgusting Rust in the bathtub

Upon entering the room, we noticed a pillowcase that was dirty. Makes you wonder about the cleanliness of rest of the bed... and the rest of the room? I took the pillow to the front desk and showed it to the person on duty. Her first question was, "How clean is the rest of the bed?" That is on believable question; wouldn't anyone expect that it would be clean? I requested that the room be comped or we get a discount on the price. She said she couldn't do that. She never even apologized for the dirty linen. This is not good customer service, in my opinion.

Bedspread and sheets were filthy Sink didn’t drain TV doesn’t work Mold and rust in the bathtub I went down to tell the front desk about all the problems. The first thing they said will refund your money. I should’ve known then this was a disaster. Then they told me they can’t change the sheets or fix anything. I have to change my own sheets and they don’t have anybody to fix anything. And this was actually the manager I spoke with. What a joke

We found this to be a most convenient motel for exploring Springfield. It is well run with good staff and facilities.
