    There was a party on one of the floors and an awful fight outside the lobby. There was a group of people partying on the parking lot terrace. The carrying on started around 11PM and ended close to 3 in the morning. The front desk staff, to my knowledge, didn’t do anything to stop the party or call the police for the fighting. This was not a good stay. I’ll be calling for thr manager this week.

    Breakfast was decent but you should mix up the meat choices. No bacon offered the three days I was there. Only sausage and maybe a turkey something that wasn’t appealing. Also, had plates and regular silverware on Monday but quickly switched to paper/plastic rest of days I was there.

    In addition, the TV was not working, and I had to call maintenance to repair it. This issue should have been identified and resolved before the room was assigned to a guest. After I reported these concerns, the front desk called my room at approximately 10:00 PM to ask if I wanted to switch rooms. While I appreciate the offer, I found the timing inappropriate. After a long day of traveling, I was exhausted and already settled in for the night, so moving rooms was not a practical solution. I was also frustrated by the poor communication regarding late checkout. I called the day before departure and was approved for a 1:00 PM checkout, but I was never informed of a $25 fee. The next morning, when I called to confirm, another employee could not find any record of my request and then informed me of the fee. Because of this, I declined the late checkout. This miscommunication significantly affected my plans for the day. As a Hilton Honors member, I expected a much higher standard of service. The cleanliness issues, maintenance problems, and inconsistent communication made this stay fall well below the level of hospitality I expect from Hilton.

    I got bit my bed bugs in two rooms. They said they had the terminator inspect the rooms, but the results were “negative for bed bugs”. I saw two doctors and they said they were definitely bug bites. The hotel repeatedly refused to refund me until after I told them I had gone to two doctors and had given them my doctor’s note. They never did give me a refund and overcharged me on parking. I’m left with bed bug scars on my feet, thighs, hands, upper arms, and neck. I never got an apology and they never admitted to anything.

    This is like a hidden gem. Very clean and staff was very nice. The breakfast was ok but durable. Overall my stay was nice, no worries. I would stay again. Close to restaurants and stores within walking distance distance.

    I went to check in and was told by the young girl that I already checked in. Impossible since I drove 7 hours and just not got there. Then she said she has a card on file already and again I say that’s not mine. I even asked if someone else is going to be in my room and she says No. I go to my room and guess what. There are 3 bags in there. I call the girl who says I will have to come back down and talk to the supervisor then hangs up on me. I try calling back and she won’t answer. I had two kids with me and one autistic so I didn’t want to be doing all this back and forth. I went down there and straight to the girl and said is this your customer service? You hang up on people? She says “you can talk to her”. So she was still rude and no apology and there was no explanation as to why this happened. They assure me they checked the other persons ID but not sure how since they don’t have my name.

    There were several things in my room that were not right.I got there.The toilet paper holder was Loose and seem to be about to fall off the wall. The shower had random hair in it , so it wasn't clean very well. The light above the stove in the kitchen was burned out. Well, wanting to use the ceiling fan because it was 91°.     My family and I stayed from Saturday - Monday. We requested extra towels and a crib for our baby, but neither were in the room upon arrival. We called down for both and they brought the towels right away, but the staff didn’t know if they even had cribs to offer. On their website, it says they offer cribs. They eventually brought up a pack and play, but it was dated and looked dirty so we didn’t use it. There was a bug in the room that my partner had to kill. There’s no usb c plugs in the room so it felt very dated. There was only one regular usb on the clock that we utilized but again, the room just felt dated overall. Most hotels I stay at offer a bunch of usb and usb c plugs to the point where I don’t even need to bring the box with me anymore.

    Brd was terrible. Silverware in drawer were dirty. Didn't know the we were required to unload dishwasher before we used any utensils. Thought that was housekeeping job. We have stayed here before 2020 and things were great. That's why we choose this hotel again but not anymore

    I booked a room with a walk in shower. I was given a room with bath tub. I fell in a bath tub before when i was younger and it was a painful experience. I called front desk right away to ask why am getting something else than what booked. His response was let me see what i can do and call you back. He never did. I consider this poor customer service. Also yesterday Friday Housekeeping got into my room mid day after knocking once and not waiting to be allowed in. I was in there. I asked for towels and said she should not do the room. When she brought the towels she didnt knock in. She walked in to put the towels and even started picking up trash. I feel my privacy was invaded. Overall not a positive experience.

    Overall clean and very nice facilities with very friendly staff, however there were some minor irritations throughout our stay: the air conditioning never seems to fully cool the room even at the lowest setting, the sheets/comforters come apart from each other very easily resulting in a tangled mess which affected our sleep, the conditioner bottle was empty for our entire 3 night stay, and several things were not restocked even when the room was cleaned. Parking is located in a garage with very tight spaces. Overall a great place for driving into D.C.

    Staff. On Monday morning during breakfast. I was gathering breakfast fo me and my husband to take back to the room since he’s not mobile. I spill a bowl of sauce on the floor near the receptionist desk and i noticed her walking by when said incident happened. I began to pickup the bowl after placing my food down and I mention to the young woman “Hey, sorry i made a spill right here but i’m gathering the bowls to toss away” she looked me dead in my face and said “you can clean it up” and went back to stocking the convent area. As a loyal Hilton Honors member, a paying customer and a human being that was unacceptable.

    Lot of stuff is inop. Ice machineson floors, 3,4,5 were broken. Hot water in th kitchen was only Luke warm. Stayed there for 3 nights and no maid service the whole time. Parking is not free and is handled by a third party. Staff is friendly, but stuff still stays broken.

    This property is a hidden gem in Springfield. Inside is well managed, clean, and an excellent value. I would give high praise for the management team.     I am normally a Marriott lady, I gave Hilton a try and they exceeded my expectations. Aaron the night manager and Tameka front desk were very friendly and informative.     The parking situation was not the best. The elevator was broken and almost got hit by a car. My room AC was already set to 65 and it was extremely hot and woke up drenched in sweat. The breakfast was not the best. Pork and ham isn’t a breakfast I am accustomed to. The eggs were sitting in yellow water. The coffee dispensed cold coffee. It was an upsetting experience.

    Had an unexpected business change of plans. With several WEEKS notice, the property would not let me cancel nor would they let me re-book at a later date? I could understand if it was the day of, or close to the arrival date, but they literally had weeks to rebook the room, yet woudl not make any accommodation. There is no reason, even if it is "policy", why they could not let me either cancel or rebook at a later date because surely they had ample time to fill the room. Simply put - terrible customer service. I stay in Springfield all the time, and this guarantees I will NEVER stay at this hotel. So, because they did not want to budge on a 2 night stay, they will lose dozens of nights over the next few years. Great customer service choice folks...

    The overall building seems like it is older. Despite not permitting smoking, the room smelled like smoke. The stairwell down to the garden/patio (an area where people could enjoy sitting outside, grilling, and walk pets) smelled of smoke. One of the elevators didn't work. The smoke-smelling room was the main reason for leaving early as smoke inhalation is a major asthma trigger.

    Our room was exceptional, so clean, spacious, comfortable beds, amazing shower. My ONLY complaint was there wasn’t a good area to take my dogs outside to go potty. The only grassy areas were next to restaurants and they were very littered and my dogs (labs) on several occasions tried to eat some chicken bones from the restaurant next door. It would have been the perfect stay had there been more areas from them directly outside. I realize that isn’t the hotels fault that surrounding areas were littered but I do wish they had a better pet relief area. Fortunately we were able to drive to parks! Would definitely stay again. Staff was super kind and responsive to anything we needed.

    My only issue was the safe in our room did not work. When we returned from dinner, I asked about the status and was told that it was broken. It was replaced after requesting it to be replaced. The handyman was wonderful.

    My initial impression was that the facility and staff were delightful. However, I quickly changed my opinion. While I was turning down my bed, a roach ran off of it. When I went down to the front desk to tell them that I wanted to change rooms because of the roach. They informed me that they did not have a pest problem and wanted to see a picture of the insect. I had a picture of the roach in the room and I showed it to them They told me that they were booked and that there’s no possible way I could switch rooms Eventually, a manager came and a new room magically appeared.

    When we checked in we were informed the water would be turned off for likely 8 hours from 10AM-6PM the next day, which we were staying that day. We thought that was outrageous not to have been told when making the reservation and left the next morning. The property would not offer a refund for the day we left and seemed completely indifferent to our surprise at having no shower or bathroom available for most of a day. Also, to park in the lot, you had to register on a site and give credit card info out too who???? it was ridiculous. Hilton has lost our business if this is how they now manage their properties.

    We checked in the night receptionist was polite and friendly. But he informed us that there was a problem with the water heater but it’s now fix and will be able to shower but wait an hr. Waited an 1 hour and the water still freezing cold. A little disappointed because after traveling across the country I was looking for a hot shower. So decided to just shower in the am. We over slept, and got to the breakfast area at 0905 (yes, I’m aware breakfast is until 0900) but considering they had no water for 8 hours be a little gracious but the a lady said we can grab food of whatever that’s left so that was nice, then this guy and a lady wearing a hijab came out and the lady told us the kitchen is closed and I told her the lady just said we can get food. Then she rudely asked which lady and I told her and she literally just stared at me rolled her eyes turned around and said nothing. Rude. Lost whatever appetite my daughter and I had. And left. The water still not warmed up. I called the receptionist and a mechanic came and fix it. He was very nice and professional.

    Really enjoyed the free breakfast buffet and evening happy hour. Lots of dining options available nearby. Rooms were large and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is about parking. The parking structure gets full over the weekends plus there is an extra charge that's not exactly cheap. If you end up getting back to the hotel late enough you will be forced to park on the top floor of the structure and the elevator is located on the opposite side of where the entrance to the hotel is - very odd placement. Other than that everything else very comfortable! Would probably stay again.

    Great base for sightseeing. Only a couple of miles from the Franconia Springfield Metro which took us to the National Mall and memorials avoiding the DC traffic. Shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Hotel clean and rooms comfortable and spacious. Efficient friendly staff.

    After checking in and given a key to 328 we entered the room unmaid beds trash and garbage stillbin the kitchen. We were moved to 300. Went to ice machinebon 3rd floor, didn't work. Went to second floor didn't work. Finally 4th floor machine worked. Carpet in lobby area in serious need of cleaning.

    The breakfast staff is attentive and keep the area clean and stocked. The front desk attendants have all be pleasant and friendly. They used to not charge for parking and had a pool. We do miss the pool but understand in VA it's not common for hotels to have indoor pools.

    However, when I returned that night, I found the old sheets still in a pile on the floor and no towels provided. Surprised, I called the front desk and learned an engineer would come to make the bed, but I was also concerned about the towel situation. I decided to visit the front desk for a room change. The young lady there was very accommodating and quickly helped me move to a different room, which I appreciated. Despite this minor hiccup, the overall experience ended well.

    Very loud refrigerator kept me up throughout the stay. Ironing board fell apart when I tried to open it. The tub drained very slowly so there was ponding for every shower. Very nice people!

    The customer service was great. The room was moderately clean. There were crumbs on the counter in the kitchenette area as well as on the floor under the desk. I did not like that the water would not get hot in the bathroom sink. The temp of the water in the shower was ok. Overall it was a decent stay. Very convenient location.

    Unfortunately, there had been a leak in the hot water tank so there were fans blowing in the lobby and the hallways by the room. When I shut the door to the room, it was quiet. The breakfast was good with multiple options. The room was clean and spacious.

    I absolutely loved staying here from the time of check-in. The young lady at the front desk was very helpful. Very kind and courteous this location is very close to the interstate. It is right in the middle of a ton of shopping and grocery stores even sub within walking distance making it very easy to get what you need. Only downside was one elevator was working, which caused some patrons to be frustrated. I will definitely be staying here again.

    I arrived at Homewood Suites in Springfield, VA around 2:00 AM on Saturday, March 3rd. No one was working the front desk. I understood that it was after midnight, and most scheduled guests were probably checked in already. The entrance to the lobby office was roped off. There was no sign that said a front desk worker was returning to the desk in a certain time frame. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, so I waited for almost an hour for somebody to check me in. It did'nt happen. I called the Homewood Suites hotline for help. Nothing but pre-recorded messages, including a pre-recorded apology for no one being available. So I slept in my bus that night (I'm a bus driver). That morning, I returned to the front desk. The fellow at the desk seemed surprised that nobody was there to check me in. He assured me that Hilton would'nt charge me anything. In 32 years of tour bus driving, this never happened to me, regardless of how late I checked in.

    Very nice property. The floor was extremely quiet. I felt very safe. The room was very clean and all equipment was functional. I was unaware that I would have to pay for parking upon arrival. I feel that guests should be notified prior and those fees be added on along with the booking fees. Also $100 incidental fee was not mentioned at time of booking, so be prepared for that also when you arrive. Parking garage was convenient, but spaces are extremely tight. Not a bad experience overall. I will mist likely stay here again now that I’m aware of what is actually required.

    We had just stayed 3 days and felt that was uncalled for given the circumstances. We were dependent on a tow truck, a tire shop and an uber to all fall into place just right on a holiday Monday (tire was flat on a Sunday and we could not get a new one until Monday but Monday was Presidents’ Day). We were looking for 2 pm. Obviously all unusual circumstances resulting in us scrambling to make it all work so we sought the hotels help and got the hard line from the person at the desk. We weren’t out of our room right at 1 pm (we left at 1:30) and were charged $75 by way of withholding a portion of our security deposit. We were shocked. Unacceptable and hardly a customer oriented business. We will never return and would not recommend this specific hotel.

    The initial receptionist was very kind and informative however, the other staff members that I engaged with was far from friendly and was very dismissive. When requesting a late check out as a Hilton member, I did not feel accommodated. The receptionist was very stern with an additional $100 fee just to extend to 1pm. I was able to stay until 12 and exactly at 12, house keeping did not knock or even announce they were walking in. The lady just opened the door which was quite uncomfortable.

    I would stay again, although the staff at the front desk aren't the friendliest, probably because it was Inauguration time for President Trump. But I do want to give a shout out to the tall Asian Man who I think works in the kitchen, he was super friendly and really catered to us. He was great 😃

    They started to charge for parking in their garage- 15.00 a day. The room was clean and I think we got a refurbished room with glass shower door which was nice. No insects were seen. There are no smoking signs but strong smell of marijuana- that is hard to control. Overall nice stay.

    I went to buy the website and also went on the hotels actual website to ensure that there was a tub in the room and when I got there, there was no tub and they would not accommodate me with a tub unless I pay the additional $37.

    The room and the hotel in general needs a lot of care. The sofa in the room was old and sinks when you sit on it. I would rate this place as a step above what I would expect from a Motel 6. It needs a lot of upgrades. You can see the plaster on the walls in the room and there are several other aesthetic things need to be taken care of. For the price. There are some good points. It's in the PERFECT location to food, shopping, freeways, etc. Customer Service is Excellent.

    Stayed in a room with two queen beds and a sleeper sofa bed. We need the sleeper sofa bed for a family of 5 and it was very uncomfortable. Need to bring your own bedding to use. Next time will bring my blow up mattress instead. Room was clean and of a good size. The staff at the main desk and those who prepared the coffee/food were very friendly.

    The night worker did not want to switch rooms and said he would try to fix it even though he was not the engineer. Will that end engineer will come the next day? No one ever came and we will never offered another room. The deck guy barely wanted to give me a key to get into the gym when I misplaced my key. family member was having heart surgery. So we had to stay there was no where else to go. They knew that.
