Convenient location. Friendly staff. No iron or ironing board in room. No continental breakfast. Toilet too low

The rooms were absolutely disgusting, I felt like bugs were crawling on me anytime I was in the room. The doors and and ceiling are coming apart from the walls. The AC units haven't been cleaned in YEARS. I had to clean my AC filters to get the unit to work. It was caked with dirt and dust. The Parking lot had alot of nails, screws and broken glass all over, you

The room and hotel needs a very good upgrade. The tub is in need of replacing. It looked like they tried to paint it instead of replacing it. The toilet wobbled when you sat down.
- 2/5
Rooms need to be updated badly. Bathroom has mold in the shower and floor was uneven.

staff was very friendly. the room was ok but very dirty. couldn’t walk on floor bear foot too dirty. lamp shade here very dirty. bed was clean.

Filthy disgusting rooms terrible condition walls dirty ceiling falling apart bathtub not cleaned sink stuffed up toilet sitting it rocks. When complained to staff all they said what do you expect. I took pictures of the room I have never had to stay in a discusting room like this. Said no refunds.
- 1/5
The phones in the rooms didn’t work, the key card for the door kept having to get programmed. I tried to check out early and was completely unable to get ahold of anyone at the hotel and the person at the counter said to try calling. I tried and could never get through to the hotel. Won’t ever stay there again
- 1.5/5
Staff was rude. Check in was long. Their ADA compliance latter for my service dog had illegal requirements. The coffee in the morning was disappointing. no plug beside the bed for my CPAP. Parking lot was not in good repair, but you can drive back on the road to get from the office to the rooms.

I was not able to take my trip due to illness, I contacted hotels.com and they were not able to get anybody to answered from the hotel until after the time I should take the room. As a consequence the hotel charged me without using the room. I have tried to contact the hotel to see if I can get at least another day in exchange for the money, and I still don’t get anybody to answer. Not trying this place again and of course not recommending it due to the poor customer service and poor interest on customer needs or emergencies in this case.

Price The room was fine , exactly what you would expect from a $50-$60 room , however the bathroom tub was disgusting. My wife wouldn't even stand in it to take a shower.

The staff was very nice the place can use a lot of work I would consider one step up from a tent The convenience of where it was at
- 0.5/5
Nothing. Cigarette butts in stairways and all over the floor. No real comforters. Rooms were not as specified. The rooms were actually on different floors and different sides of the building, making it very hard for my pet. Nowhere to walk my animal as the property was going through some type of renovation where there was rocks and dirt everywhere the key system was horrible. I had to go back to the office a minimum of four times because they did not work I got to the office at 8 AM. There wasn’t any coffee And the property owners were walking around like police on the grounds. Flooded toilet and the shower had to be covered with a towel it was that disgusting!

This was the worst stay i ever experienced in my life. And im still have received my deposit back 7 days later. And you cant contact the hotel itself. Dont stay here

Days Inn hotel was horrible. I made the reservation based on the pictures that are shown on expedia and when I got to the hotel, it was destroid, nothing compared with the photos shown, this can be seen as false advertisement. The smell on the reception was horrible, like moldy, in general the place was a disaster. I didn’t even checked- in because I didnt liked the place. I canceled the reservation and got another hotel. I requested a refund and didn’t received because according to expedia the manager didn’t approved it. This was very dissapointing, I have never had an issue like this with any hotel that I have reserved nor with Expedia, and I have been using the platform for many years.
- 0.5/5
Not a thing….it was a dump When I got there, they did not have the room available I booked, and offered a smoking room. Ummm, no thanks! When I refused that room, the front desk then told me to get a room like I booked would be another $100. The place was a dump, tons of construction equipment, so assuming it was under renovation. But, that isn’t an excuse to try to charge me $100 more for a room I had already booked at a different price. We didn’t stay, found another hotel. Terrible experience. And for that reason alone, I will likely not use booking.com again.
- 2/5
The room was old and dirty, nothing like the picture. The bathroom van did not work. Some lights did not work. Registering a pet required a $100 deposit + $15. No mention of the deposit on line. I will not return.

Bad
- 1/5
Nasty, walls cracked, some sticky stuff on walls. Very run down. Could see outside around the doors. Staff was friendly and helpful only reason not a 1 star review. Did look like they were remolding parts of another building and they may get better but right now I wouldn’t board a stray dog here.
- 1.5/5
I wish that it had been cleaner, though the bed was good - and sheets and towels were very clean
- 1/5
Seen some one checking lock cars don't want to risk my family safety.
- 1/5
Tons of construction. Pictures are DECEIVING. This was the nastiest hotel I’ve stayed at. Just filthy.
- 2/5
Not once in 9 nights was my room cleaned, nor was the offer to clean given to me.
- 1/5
Full of primos and hookers
- 2/5
Parking lot terrible condition Bathroom door in disrepair in room Insufficient locks on door
- 1/5
Staff had nasty attitude, hotel under construction. Had to rent rooms at a different hotel.
- 0.5/5
The roof is about to collapse the bathroom is super dirty they need to do something with this hotel
- 1/5
Ancient furniture, cracked/caving walls and ceilings, uneven floors, unprofessional “remodeling” on floors, worn out shower and tiny toilet. Pool “ permanently closed,” not disclosed on property listing. I immediately changed my three day stay to one night. It was gross!
- 2/5
The property is currently under construction. The bathrooms were in need of work. The toilet in one room didn't flush, and one of the tubs was missing a plug. Both tubs were full of construction debris. We were awakened by the sound of power tools promptly at 6 am. Although breakfast was listed as free, there was none. Coffee was available from 6 -9.
- 3/5
The room, bedding and towels were clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only bad thing was the actual building and room are in desperate need of refurbishment.
- 5/5
“If you want to stretch your dollar without sacrificing comfort, this place is a gem. The beds are genuinely cozy, and the rooms, linens, and towels are not just clean but soft and inviting. It feels like 3-star quality offered at a 2-star price, all in a location that outshines most others nearby.”
- 3/5
Check out the weird building and interior repairs - fashioned out of scrap building materials perhaps? I have traveled in India and so recognize 'the style'. You get what you pay for. It was a cheap rate for a fairly beat up facility. Coffee in the lobby was cold, and you can use some white powder to put in it. It is right next to Rte 40, so try to choose any room further around the back perhaps? Bedding was clean and comfortable.
- 2/5
Bleh
- 3/5
Found a roach in the room. The sink wasn’t attached fully to the countertop. Loose floor tiles. Walls had paint chipped and chipping every where.
- 1/5
I didn't like anything about this hotel that I even though I lost my money it was worth going somewhere else
- 3/5
The property seemed to be undergoing some renovations, so we overlooked the stacks of materials around the property. But it sits off by itself in what almost seems like a nearly desolate industrial park along the interstate. You have to wind around to get to it, then to find food, you have to go back out thru a poorly lit industrial area which honestly seemed a bit creepy.
- 3/5
The staff was amazing. Nathan was friendly and kind.
- 1/5
There were 15+ roaches crawling the entire room and outside premises
- 1/5
Bed was comfortable, thats it! Non smoking room smelled like smoke, floors were so dirty, my feet got black, sink backed up, toilet bowl filthy, accumulated old soap scumb on tub walls and cobwebs in a couple corners. Oh yes and the big roach crawling on the was the icing on the cake. And the gree breakfast means coffee...and we did not try that! Stay Away
- 1/5
The only thing clean in the room was the bed. There was stuff all over the walls, cobwebs everywhere, the bathroom was filthy. I won’t stay at Days Inn anymore. I didn’t have high expectations, but at least expected to have a somewhat clean room.
- 4/5
Friendly staff, clean convenient , good value
- 1/5
Absolutely nothing please avoid this property. The are very unreasonable, very unfriendly avoid it PLEASE
- 1/5
Though the service guest staff are nice and helpful, I would not recommend anyone to stay there unless there planning on renovations. Overall the property need a lot of upgrades. It seems to be a quiet area, I believe however I didn't stay I immediately took the key back.
- 2.5/5
No breakfast, only coffee. The room was Very Old and Run Down, the doors did not close at the bottom. Very big gap
- 0.5/5
No reservation, no help at all

- 0.5/5
The bathroom was awful. I could not shower in that tub. I chcked out after the first night. It was dark and not clean.
- 4/5
Not a lot of traffic Our weed eater was stolen out of work truck
- 0.5/5
I had a dog with me, so it was very convenient to have a first floor room that had instant access to the grassy areas. Bed was newer and sheets were clean. Person at desk (young girl) was very nice and helpful! Smelled . Bathtub was gross and had spiders in it. Room was very dingy, but functional. Online pictures looked nothing like the actual hotel.
- 1/5
No coffee, shower moldy, walls dirty, no signage, couldn't even tell if hotel was operating. Looked like a deserted truck stop. Pictures online very deceiving. No breakfast.
- 4/5
Parking lot is rough
- 5/5
It was quite and and the staff was nice
- 1/5
There was nothing to like except clean bed. Shower went from cold to hot. Room was hot. Vents and lights in bathroom were grose. Curtain barely hung on.
- 1/5
We got there and could not get another room. Yet ad said they had rooms. I demand my money back and desk clerk just laugh. Never again.
- 1/5
Leftover food in the fridge, broken tiles, bath tub covered in soap scum and dark staining
- 1/5
It was never mentioned to me I needed a security deposit on a card. I was out of town and didn’t bring my cards. I had only cash and was unable to check in. Had to drive all the way back home . I want my money back
- 1/5
I didnt stay because this junky hotel requires a $200 deposit that oer there website may take 7-14 days to refund.
- 1/5
This property is absolutely garbage, wanting a really outrageous deposit for this POS of a place 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
- 1/5
Evening receptionist plesant. Management would not refund a booking mistake & i was charged two nights which included my hotel.com points. NON REFUNDABLE POINTS!!
- 4/5
Good value for the cost
- 2/5
Did not feel safe, pictures look nice but it wasn’t
- 5/5
WE stayed a few years ago and this stay was so much better.
- 3/5
I booked thru Hotels. Com this motel last weekend and last Thanksgiving(2024) weekend. Both times I booked a Non-Smoking Accessible room for my wife. Both times upon arrival I was told they did not have an accessible room available. They were able to give us a bottom floor non-smoking room however. I am a long time platinum Choice Hotels member and never have this issue. Always get what I booked. The price for this Days Inn is unbeatable in the area of Statesville NC but I do not feel I will be booking this hotel again thru Hotels.com simply because I have been denied the room I booked on line in advance thru Hotels.com now twice in a row.
- 2/5
Bugs, spiderwebs inside, cigarette burns on floor and sheets in a “non-smoking room”. floor was dirty. Trash behind furniture. overall bad experience.
- 4/5
Bon service mais la salle de bain devrait être rénovée
- 3/5
You get what you pay for, dirty, hadn't been really deep cleaned in some time.
- 5/5
Desk clerk was friendly. Room was huge and clean. Bed was comfortable

- 1/5
Condition on the place horrible. They do offer for breakfast like it says online. The bathroom door getting close. The main door didn’t close all the way. The heater very loud. I would not recommend it.
- 3/5
A good complementary hot breakfast would be a great addition.
- 5/5
Close to road
- 1/5
The bathroom toilet was stained, the shower was dirty and rusty, the sheets were dirty and there was not hot water, the toilet overflowed 3 times flooding the bathroom and they had not body to fix it. This place needs to be shut down.
- 2/5
The carpets were dirty and the tub was uncleanable. The paint they tried using it was chipping off. I would have never stayed there if I knew what it was like but I had already paid for it through Expedia.
- 3/5
I did pre check in 2 days before our stay and they charged me $109 then and then checked in and they charged me another $100 then. The room was dingy at best and smelled horribly of cigarette smoke even though they told us it was a nonsmoking room. The tub and toilets were chipping bad and there was people smoking weed in half the rooms.
- 1/5
Cockroach in the bathroom. Guess I got what I paid for. Explains why it was such a cheap stay.
- 5/5
We love this motel--the staff are so helpful and friendly. It is clean, quiet, close to our favorite restaurant, and easy to get to. We come here all the times we go North each year.
- 2/5
Happy with the price!
- 1/5
Was disappointed roaches room not clean
- 5/5
Good.
- 1/5
Front desk staff were awful and took their bad day out on us. Wouldn’t let us check in and refused to refund us.
- 1/5
The building is old. The bathroom floor and wall tiles were cracked. The tub was cracked and black filled the lines. People right outside of my room drank beers, played music loudly from a truck and talked loudly throughout the night! When I asked the front desk if I could have a late check out because I was up so late, sleeping on and off and missed the breakfast, he said I could have 30 extra minutes because they had a cleaning schedule. What a horrible experience with no compassion whatsoever and no mention of what I explained to him regarding the previous night's experience. Wow!
- 1/5
This place should be condemned!!! We were so uncomfortable just checking in that we knew it wasnt our kinda of place to stay. Blinds were damaged…. The bathroom was disgusting, the room stunk badly of smoke and there is NO WAY we could have stayed. Even the people outside were scary. I would have gone to a shelter before staying here. We ended up going up the street and paid only $40 for a beautiful newly decorated room… How is this? I want my money back! Please have one of your staff stay there and let me know how they feel? Word of advise… get this offer off your listing. I heard there was a soccer team suppose to stay there and they had to leave as well… very frightening. Please have someon contact me.
- 1/5
Horrible condition, much repair needed, half of the property is closed/inoperable but the whole property should be. I did not check in. I need a refund by have not been able to get anyone from expedia on the phone. Take this and all Days Inn by Wyndham off your list.
- 1/5
Book somewhere else!!
- 1/5
What a dump! Trash in parking lot. Looks like a place a homeless person would stay and they were there as well. Half the rooms were not available due to “Construction “ if at all possible stay elsewhere. Breakfast was a joke. Tiny bathroom disposable cups for juice like 2 oz, granola bars was breakfast. Oh boy!
- 3/5
I had multiple issues with my room keys not working. I went through 3 keys and 2 trips (3 if you count checking in) to the front desk before getting a key that worked.
- 1/5
My wife and I booked a room there and when we arrived there we could never find the office. There were people just hanging out in the parking lots watching every vehicle as it went by as if looking for the next customer. It looked very unsafe, looked like nothing but a drug dealers location. Never go back to this place again. We left and went to another place and got a room.
- 1/5
This hotel was not worth the cost. Very run down and not what you should expect a Days Inn to be. It should be torn down. Could not stay, asked for a refund and was denied. Will be contacting corporate.
- 1/5
Very dirty. Cobwebs, dust, stains on furniture carpet walls door and even stains on lampshade. Non smoking room that smelled strongly of smoke. Do not book this hotel.
- 1/5
We attempted to book a non-smoking room but when we arrived it smelled of smoke. I was told by days inn front desk staff we had to seek refund with Expedia. Which I attempted to no avail. We did not stay there as we were not satisfied with the smell of smoke in our non-smoking room. We were still charged and have not been refunded. We were evacuating the aftermath of Helene and just wanted a shower and clean bed and safe air to breath. I do not recommmend Expedia or Days Inn for charging us for a room that was not as advertised.
- 2/5
The room was clean, but very old. The TV was way too small. It looked like they are in the process of remodeling parts of the hotel. The free breakfast was very little to choose from.
- 1/5
The staff was absolutely rude and down right mean. Loud people all night.
- 4/5
It was ok
- 2/5
This motel advertised a pool a gym and other amenities that it most certainly did not have . The only view was looking straight across a small parking lot to the only other building with rooms . We was so disappointed we left that afternoon as we had traveled and hour and a half to meet here to find it was nothing like the advertisement.
- 1/5
The office is located in a building that appears it needs to be torn down. One building with rooms appeared the same. Our building was only mildly better. A clean white bedspread greeted us in our room giving a glimmer of hope. It was quickly dashed - the shower curtain was molded and the carpet was sticky. At checkout, I inquired about the "to go breakfast" of coffee and a granola bar. She said breakfast ended at 9:00am. It was 9:20am. I was denied a 50 cent granola bar that was probably within a couple of feet of the desk clerk. That was the final straw. I've been in inexpensive motels plenty of times, but have never seen one this bad.
- 3/5
I like that there’s not a lot of crack heads here and I didn’t appreciate the front desk giving out my personal info over the phone
- 1/5
I would never stay here again . I only have four hours of sleep till I hit the road again otherwise I would go to a different place . I will be calling the health department in the morning
- 5/5
Good
- 1/5
- 1/5
Two millipedes were crawling on the floor around the sink outside the bathroom. It was gross!!!
- 1/5
The first noticeable situation was none of the pictures matched the exterior of the property and not one single vehicle in the parking parking lot. Exterior of the building was seriously deteriorated and disgusting. Ventured in through the front door and went to the front desk where you see roaches clearly present. This was absolutely a disastrous partnership for Expedia to be having connections with. 10 minutes prior to going into the hotel my wife brings up reviews of roaches and bedbugs as we're pulling up to the door. I suggested to let me just walk into the lobby which was totally disgusting. Light fixtures hanging paint chips and unpainted walls obviously no maintenance personnel has touched the property. I am a maintenance engineer with a time sharing resort and I've never saw anything that bad in my entire travels as an AC contractor now. I never went further than the front desk and back out the front door.
- 1/5
It was very loud at night, to much human traffic. The advertisement did not match what the hotel was. I never got my deposit back after checking out. The door only had a chain lock i felt very unsafe in my room.
- 1/5
No coffee very basic Clean!!!!
- 5/5
Ever thing was close
- 5/5
We have stayed here several times when in town on business.
- 3/5
You get what you pay for. The room was cheap. Pros, I will say the bed was clean and pretty comfortable, the place was quiet and centrally located, front desk staff was friendly. Cons; everything else was pretty run down, carpet was gross, stains on the walls, stains on the bathroom walls, shower was painted over for some reason, the shower rod was bent so water leaked everywhere when you showered. It looks like they are remodeling so hopefully this place will be on the mend.
- 1/5
Room was dirty, worn and super smokey
- 2/5
The staff was friendly and helpful. $200.00 deposit was required for this POS motel. The condition of this motel was absolutely horrible. The room was gross and in serious disrepair, hair in the tub, tub looked filthy, sink was filthy. Nasty funk on the walls, sink didn't drain. holes in the walls. My socks were black from the carpet/floor. Burn holes in the sheets and linens. This place is seriously one step away from being closed down permanently cause clearly no repairs have been done to this property in a long, long time. If I hadn't already paid online, I would have gone somewhere else, anywhere else. Still think I should have just taken the loss and gone to a Marriott.
- 1/5
it is really a rundown place
- 3/5
Soft and collapsing all over the room. Could use a new shower curtain as it is stained and molding. The caulking around the shower tub is stained black (needs replacing) Bedding clean and comfortable A/C in good order and cools room well
- 1/5
Staff is rude.
- 4/5
Nothing
- 2/5
When we arrived it was slightly confusing on where the main office was for check-in. while checking in they would not recognize the emotional support animal certification as a service dog and charged us $15 extra, I have never had this happen before. When we got to the room, we found it to be in poor condition and not very clean. When we went to have breakfast, we found that all they had was coffee, juice, and breakfast bars, not much of a breakfast.
- 5/5
Quite
- 2/5
The person at the check in was very nice, but that was the only good thing about our stay. The light in the bathroom wasn’t working, the toilet was stained, could hear traffic & car alarms going off all night, curtains didn’t block the extremely bright outside lights, and the orange juice that was put out with the meager breakfast (just beverages and one type of granola bar) was rancid.
- 4/5
Amables
- 3/5
Not up to the standards of Days Inn I usually stay at.
- 1/5
It took 25 minutes for the guy to check me in and didn’t have the room I paid for. Worst check in I’ve ever experienced
- 3/5
Very old hotel, not well maintained. Inexpensive on short notice, but definitely noy a destination
- 5/5
Bathroom needs a serious Reno tub looks dirty but it is just old
- 1/5
It had a disgusting small that slapped u in the face as soon as u opened the door. The bathtub is filthy and the building is old and falling apart. Mold in the bathroom and toilet wasn't anchored to the floor. I started itching when I laid in the bed. The staff was rude, no breakfast as advertised. Will not stay here again.
- 1/5
It was horrible and I stay in hotels all the time first they wanted a 200 deposit only got a 150 back on my card said they had breakfast wasn't nothing but a granola bar and juice I will never stay at a days inn again
- 4/5
It served the purpose for a night.
- 5/5
Great
- 1/5
too dirty & out of order of light in bathroom.
- 3/5
The bathtub was dirty.... couldn't be used
- 3/5
Check in clerk was unfriendly. Room was fine, but could use upgrading, especially the carpet and bathroom.
- 2/5
Given a room that someone was using already. The second room was upstairs all the way at the end. The steps had cigarette butts that had been there for awhile. Turned the sink on and rusty water came out. Otherwise, the mattress was good, sheets and towels were clean. Heat worked well and TV was new.
- 4/5
The furniture was shabby!!
- 1/5
The door doesn’t close on the room. The carpet is blood stained. Drug users outside on the property
- 2/5
Physical buildings were not what was pictured on the website. Hard to find, google directions called place Sleep Inn. could have been cleaner, advertised breakfast, granola bar and coffee not breakfast
- 3/5
I was in the area and needed a one night stay close to my destination. I chose Days Inn because of the price. As with any low cost hotel, the smell was of a stale basement. The carpet was ripped and torn, and the bathroom door did not fit the door frame. There was a huge gap. Most hotels I stay in offer shampoo, conditioner, soap, and coffee with a coffee pot. This had soap, but none of the other things.I did have a mini fridge, but the legs were broken, so it sat on the floor making the door of it almost impossible to open. The TV was really small. That didn't bother me, as I did not watch it anyway. The receptionist was super friendly and the room was on the end in the back of the building so it was quiet. I would not stay there again due to the fact it was really outdated and the temperature could not be regulated. I also prefer a bathroom with privacy.
- 4/5
property is in a very rundown area of the town. The outside of the building also looks rundown. I guess you get what you pay.
- 1/5
I decided the lady was a bully and decided to cancel the reservation and look around for another hotel. The facility is in a very deteriorated state. Most rooms are empty and without any kind of furniture. I will never return to that place.
