Breakfast was a little weak!

I would have liked to give a better review of this property but the clerk who was working the front desk at checkout was surely and would not speak to you. I asked for receipt which you could tell he did not want to print it out. The front desk clerk who checked me in was very friendly and helpful with restaurant information.

Worst cleanliness ever in a hotel! Someone else’s gym shorts on the chair on the room, trash on room not emptied, dirty top to console on room, horribly stained carpets on halls. Very poor hotel. Would never stay there again

As soon as I opened the room door I could smell a musty smell. It had been a 12 hour ride on an MC, so I was too tired to complain or move. Also, the bathroom door was a slider, not a real door. However, the front desk person was very nice and helpful.

Everything was great. Very clean and nice pool.

We reached the hotel and it was very dirty. Upon entering our room, there were stains on the bed and the door was barely hanging on. The carpets and walls were very dirty. I began to read reviews after noticing the cleanliness of the room and property and it had been reported of roaches! So we wound up switching hotels immediately- avoid the headache!

The location we needed. Friendly staff. Affordable pricing. If you are just laying your head down, it will do. We had to change rooms 3 times and the last time we just surrendered. The first room smelled of stale smoke, it was dirty and the bathroom door would not shut all the way, it was just dirty. The second room floor was dirty, the bathroom and main door would not lock and was very musty. The third room the floor was dirty and tacky, we did not take off our shoes or socks. The toliet had pee on it and the towels were dirty. But the bathroom and main door locked so we settled and got fresh towels and cleaned the toliet. The pictures displayed are not what this hotel looks like. It was definitely a disappointment, but the staff were helpful and kind.

Wonderful staff, area is great to get in and out for food with lots of choices. The building itself could use some renovations and maintenance. Loose tiles in the lobby that grate the sides of other tiles when walking, pools could be cleaned a bit more. Definitely wasn’t daily. Doors were finicky, I had to lift the handle on my door before using my keycard or wouldn’t recognize the handle was in default position.

Location was good, Motel has deteriated since last time I stayed there, employees were not very helpful, or helpful, sat there behind the desk, didnt even say hello or good morning ! I asked for a different jelly for my toast, he would not even look if any wasavailable, poor breakfast, nothing hot, no meat, cold hard boiled eggs, coffee was horrible!

Staff was great made my reservation late in the day due rain, on a motorcycle staff pointed a dry spot to park it, gave a cup of coffee and a great room if in area I would definitely stay again

Called early the day I knew we would arrive to verify the Poole was working was told it was got there and it wasn’t stayed the first night in the room in the morning we found cockroaches while we were getting ready went to breakfast of course couldn’t bring ourselves to eat, but the breakfast would’ve been lackluster basically just cereal, toast and waffles. Not a very good place to stay at all. Could not recommend hideous to find bugs in your room.

Rooms were clean as always and the staff were friendly. We nevwr have any issues when we book here. They have added a new $100 incidentals fee which is fairly high for the area /caliber of hotel/length of our stay. It is not posted anywhere on or near the front desk so it was also a surprise.

Breakfast was good... Staff was really friendly.. Our floor didn't look like it had been vacuumed... The chair in the room was so close to the bed that you could hardly get between them.

Other than hearing the people staying in the next room, everything was good for a layover stay. Close to where we needed to be and just off the highway.

The breakfast menu was not fresh The staff was nice at check in and check out. Our room was clean no coffee pot or alarm clock.we were told coffee was on 24 hours when asked the last time it was made she had no idea

Overall, our experience was terrible. Walking into the building, the customer service was not great. That’s not even the worst part. The room reeked and there was a white and creamy substance on the edge of the bed. The door to the bathroom kept coming off the track, and we came to found out that there was a roach on the wall. A man also got stuck in the elevator. Very disappointed.

Property is old and starting to show its wear. The shower was dirty, the walls were dirty, and the elevator was real dirty. It’s not bad location but it could use some upgrades and attention.

They are trying to keep it up but it is just too old and dirty. We found an empty beer can, pills and orange peels around the beds. It was difficult to relax and sleep because we were constantly thinking that something could crawl at any time. To the point: - Room: Dirty carpet. Mattress is old with no support. Bed sheets old. Plugged sink. Bathroom door didn’t close. Loud vent. AC very loud and took a long time to cool down the room. TV and Fridge worked well. Hallways: Dirty and stained. Gym: Small, but the room smelled. Couldn’t stay. Pool: didn’t use it. Breakfast: Simple, bagel, muffins and waffles. Cereal. Milk and Coffee. We wanted to stay for $100 CAD but it is not worth it. Pay a little more and sleep better. Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here.

Online the hotel looks modern and renovated. Inside is very different. They’ve made some attempts but the hallways, elevator, carpets are all original. Lots of dust, scratches, and chips. The pool was also either not working or closed?!

Clean room. Only complaint is breakfast is weak. No eggs, bacon or sausage. Juice was watered down and not drinkable.

The gym's equipment was mostly broken The keys had to be re set a few times the door was off the hinges for the bathroom. There was a very sweet person at the desk when we had to get the key re set when we arrived from where we went around 7:30-8 p. we appreciate her very much.

If I knew how the room really looked, I wouldn't have stayed here with my 1 year old daughter. The room and inside of the hotel looked nothing like the pictures. The blanket on the bed had an old blood stain and other stains and holes. The bed did not look or feel clean. The carpet and shower door was dirty. The room was gross and I thought multiple times about just leaving. The pictures are very misleading. I will not be back

Room air conditioner motor got to hot and kept shutting off. Also the only “hot” breakfast was self serve waffles.

The room was very spacious with sink that is at a separate area. Which makes it very useful to differentiate between sink activities vs taking a bath. The room was spotless very clean.

The property was fine but when I got to the room had a little smell to humidity. Also, we never received a room cleaning service. The place in my opinion needs remodeling to improve the hotel amenities. It was ok for the price.

The room was clean and comfortable. The towel and washcloths were not replaced, but we took the used ones to the desk and they replaced them. All in all we were happy with the stay.

The room smelled so bad of cigarette smoke. We asked for another room but they didn’t have one. It’s a non smoking hotel, so I’m not sure why it smelled so bad. We were with our two kids and it smelled terrible. The beds were so small and hard to fit two to a bed. Not comfortable at all.

The room was dirty and had bugs on the ceiling-we got assigned 3 different rooms before we found a clean one and even that room was missing the safety lock. However, the staff was very nice and the breakfast was good.

Bugs were in the room, apple juice tasted expired. Sheets had stains all over them as well as the shower and the room smelled like mildew

This is an older property and there was an odor in my room. The sink didn't drain well and it took a very long time to get hot water in the shower.

Front desk clerk was rude upon arrival, the towels and bedding were stained or dirty, there were roaches in the breakfast area, and the continental breakfast upset my stomach and my wifes stomach.

One of the staff was kinda rude but the gentleman that check me in was great . The rooms look good . Only problems i had seem like people was coming in my room and my key had got missing and my we made sure the door was closed but came back my door was open .one of my bathcloth has gotten missing and they didnt offer us new towel and it seems alittle werid but it wasn't too bad . My family had room to but they didnt like it at all

Over all it seemed clean, and the bed was very comfortable, however upon getting up to go to the bathroom around 2 am I encountered a small cockroach in the bathroom, and then, a larger one in bed! I did not feel comfortable continuing to sleep in the bed at that point, and slept in the back seat of my car after removing my luggage so as not to take them home with me. The desk person in the morning was very nice and concerned but I got no credit or refund, so I did get ready in the room and ate breakfast which was decent. I did cancel my second night however, and they were fine with that.

It was far better than some of the negative reviews , and the breakfast options were good and should cover most peoples free expectations it would have cost me at least $10-15in any restaurant.

Unkept hotel filthy floors, alot of water damage still apparent on all floors- including our room on the 4th floor. Our toilet also wouldn't flush one morning before we even got up and needed attention Breakfast with very limited selection and no flavored coffee creamers.

It was dated carpets not clean and bathroom shower was not cleaned looked like someone walked in it with wet shoes on and we could hear the people above us walking

Room was tired. Worn chair, bed was comfortable. Shower well used and needs refreshing. Breakfast was disappointing. We have stayed at other Sleep Inn's and hot food was served such as scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, grits. We did have waffles available to make and toasted bagels. You get what you pay for.

This hotel is very dirty. Very smelly. It hasn't been renovated for a long time. There is mold on the ceiling. The sheets on the bed are dirty and have hair. The food is very poor and tasteless.

For the price it was pretty solid. Not the nicest hotel but far from the worst. I would stay there again.

We stayed for one night at Sleep Inn! Hotel was okay! Shower did not get warm at all! Cleanliness was good. Bed was comfortable! Hotel definitely needs some upgrades!

I've stayed at this Sleep Inn over the past 15 years. I loved the location since if you are heading north on 77, it allows you to get through Charlotte traffic and start the next day relatively stress free. Unfortunately, this property is really showing it's age as it is in need of a remodeling. The price's they charge (inexpensive) compensate for the poor conditions. They had me on the first floor (basement) and I could hear the water rushing down the pipes when everyone would flush from upstairs. If you stay here, make sure you have an upstairs room (floor 3 or 4)

This place was fine, a booked it because it was cheap and it was as advertised. They let me check out late, too, which was nice.

Luckily we were very tired from our long journey because the air conditioner was very noisy but it didn't bother us because of our fatigue. The hotel is dated and needs updating but we felt safe during our one night layover. The king sized bed however was amazing and very comfortable!

Got accused of clogging up the toilet as soon as i got the room then got moved to a room where the bathroom door wouldn't stay closed and had only warm water/cold water

Both upon arrival smelled of heavy smoke. It obviously wasn't discouraged very well as my kids and I witness 2 separate people smoking in the common areas. After we changed rooms it was better but still had mold in the shower and overall not extremely clean. In the morning 7am the lobby bathroom was atrocious. Breakfast was waffles and the typical Continental breakfast. It was ok. More fruit would be appreciated. Overall I would not return as the bathrooms alone were enough to scare us away. A piece of crap with a fresh coat of paint is still a piece of crap.

Was a quick overnight stay. Everything was great room was clean easy check in and check out husband had the breakfast said it was good and we were on our way.

The room was very small. The pillows were hard as rocks and many places in the room had paint breaking off, splitting, etc. The air conditioner in the room was so loud it was hard to sleep. It worked for the one night we needed, but I wouldn’t stay again.

Bed was very comfortable.

Only used a SleepInn one other time and it was great. This property was dirty and run down. It was quiet but I didn't see many other guests, if at all. Breakfast was not mentioned upon check-in. We had to ask the availability and hours. Food was not what we expected. No hot breakfast items like meat or eggs. Coffee was less than desirable. Would definitely not recommend or stay at this location. Interacted with 2 staff and neither acted like they cared at all thzt we were there. One was on their cell phone the whole time.

It was good except the tv didn't work and lamp didn't work.

It was a good value for the price I paid, I will admit that. Bed was comfortable, internet and TV service were fine. But two things I didn't like. First, there was no hot breakfast like the other sleep ends, with the exception of a waffle maker. But my main gripe with sleep in as a chain, even with other moderately priced hotels, is when you have only 15 to 30% occupancy during this off season where I'm at, that means there are tons of empty rooms. Why on Earth would you put two guests side by side by side when you can hear their tvs, or their conversations, or when they cough come Etc. Skip every other room and everybody has peace and quiet which is what we pay for especially when we're traveling along the highway.

The rooms could use some updating overall the hotel is very conveniently located and at a reasonable price.

It started when we walked down the hall to our room and the carpet was worn and filthy. Our room was not clean at all...the room was dusty, sticky mess on top of the dresser. When we went to the front desk to request a refund they didn't even ask why, guess they're used to it. Never again.

Overall stay was okay, there was mold in my room from a leak on to the furniture and was not properly taken care of.

I stayed here during the balloon fest I stayed as a 65 single woman got there at 9:30. There all kind of strange men hanging around the outside of the motel. I went in got my room there were fist hole in the bathroom door. I went to bed with both locked locked and slept in my close. All for approximately 300.00 a night

I paid a good amount for one night and the room was very dated, didn’t smell great, there was no phone charging outlets and the bathroom was very dated. Just overall not a great atmosphere, especially for the price.

Below average in just about every way. The bed was comfortable, however. And the maintenance man was friendly and helped with a couple of problems.

Furniture outdated stained. Big chair by ac unit too big and in the way. There was urine in front of the toilet.

We arrived and i checked us in. The lobby was small but seemed neat. The hallway to the rooms had its own unique "smell" and then the room once we entered smelt like vinegar and onion rings. So, we went to the pool area next and it had a weird smell on the first floor, but pool was clean and water was warm (very small though). The gym was all busted up and I didn't get to use it before my competition. We only had to stay one night so we dealt with it. The breakfast was lacking becuase the juice machine didnt mix right and didnt have much to choose from. Would not be staying there again.

The day I arrived I used the bathroom and the toilet handle was broken. I got there at 1630. I informed them and left for the evening. Came back at 2230 and it flooded the bathroom. Told maintenance and he said there was nothing they could do about it until the morning. Left early the next morning came back later that night and the handle was fixed. Around midnight the toilet ran all night nonstop. Woke up the next day and it wouldn’t flush. Breakfast was limited and the waffle was cold, no butter options. Had stains in the sheets. Seemed like the employees didn’t understand me to help me. Would not stay again.

Needs improvements, I have been in better Slewp inns in other states.

I arrived at site, when front guy found out I was a “local” he said he would have to charge me 100 when I asked why he said “so you don’t mess up my room” I said excuse me? I’m a female that’s alone with paint all over her, I remodeling my bathroom and so that why I’m staying but whatever, when will it be released, he said next morning. He then put me down stairs in 109. This was nothing like what the pic were. I called up and told him this would not work. He moved me to 402 which wasn’t much better, and bug crawling up wall. I immediately contacted Expedia and they did great on their end. I also asked them to ensure that sleep in did cancel without fees. They said he did. They returned my money of $100 yesterday morning and then at 6:57 they charge me $100 I did not even stay in the room nor did I touch the bed or anything that was in the room, the nighttime Front Desk order was not only rude but judgmental in a liar as soon as he found out, I was a local he was attempting to put me in the worst room there was I will never stay there again

Our stay was very good. It was an older building but not bad, especially for the price and we were only there to sleep. Bed and pillows were so comfy. Breakfast was the usual as at most places. Not bad. Did like the Jimmy Dean sausage biscuits alot but no ketchup available. That was my only complaint. Staff had found a ketchup packet in a drawer the first day, but none the 2nd day. Would stay again.

Not convenient to get to from Interstate. Worse ADA room I've ever stayed in!! Bathroom had adequate room to maneuver a wheelchair but had tub/shower combination....a roll-in shower was needed. Bedroom area had very little room to maneuver a wheelchair

I chose the motel considering the fact of it having a pool so that I could enjoy some family time with my family that we had traveled a great distance to meet. The pool water was EXTREMELY HOT!! So hot it would burn to the touch. Hotter than any hot tub. So therefore we didn’t get to enjoy any family activities. The beds where great and they had a really great breakfast.

I liked being on second floor and quietness

the breakfast had just a few choices compared to other motels i have used recently. the staff was friendly the phone showed messages waiting twice when there were no messages.

Past stays have been great. This stay was like it turned into a transient motel. The hallways also sounded like it several rooms occupied by a bunch of adult guys getting drunk and pounding on each others doors and yelling. The carpets were dirty, the coffee machine didnt always work, the toilet kept flooding, they gave us a different room, toilet didnt flush in there either. All of the outlets were so worn out we couldnt even charge our phones because the plugs kept falling out. Staff was great but we spent a whole week and werent happy about the accomodations.

Will not be returning. Booked in a room that was already occupied. Carpet felt gross. Funny smell in room. Pool was so cloudy you could hardly see your feet. Ice machine was broken. No AC in the breakfast/hotel area.

Our room had loose tiles in the bathroom, the walls were filthy and the place smelled of mold. The shower was dirty. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, nor would I want to see Hotels.com recommend it either.

Elevator stinks, had to fight with key card to get it to work, door handle didn't work properly. Finally got in the room, it's freezing air is on full blast. Carpet is filthy, no touching the chair it looks filthy too. Suppose to be non smoking but burn hole in bed cover. Microwave didn't work, never heated at all! When to the front desk they had several customers and didn't seem to care if the microwave didn't work. Bed is hard and very uncomfortable. First time in a Sleep In and definitely last time in Sleep In!!!
