It’s so beautiful and well lit. Desk staff very helpful and friendly for both check in and out. My room was GORGEOUS and clean and had so many useful amenities I would have never thought to ask for. Plenty of towels, great quality shower gel and shampoo that left my whole body so soft. Standard breakfast buffet spread you would see at like a Hilton/hyatt situation-yummy! Great frequent shuttle service. And only $50 incidental fee. WiFi was fast and free.

After I arrived IAD airport, I made a phone call to hotel, waiting for shuttle bus to come, driving me to the hotel in about 12 min, I felt the shuttle bus service is very convenient and safe. Room is big and clean with small kitchen (oven, cooking supplies, microwave,etc). Breakfast was great and sufficient, I ate full. However, no dinner provided. you could buy some dry or cold snacks in hotel. The night I stayed, only one elevator worked, taking a bit more time to up and down the floors, as another door of elevator was under repaired. Overall, I felt this hotel very homey.

My stay was wonderful. The breakfast spread was top notch. The choices, this was more than complementary it was 1st class. The room was clean nice size possible for long stays as well. There is a free Airport shuttle just ask inadvance for the times from airport

We took 5 rooms and stayed for 3 nights. Excellent facility and staff who kept everything well stocked and cleaned. Lobby is welcoming and spacious, good for work and relaxation. Rooms are well laid-out, well kept and well stocked. Would definitely return when visiting family again.

My second year, I was booking Hyatt hotel in Sterling, Virginia, because I really enjoyed the excellent service and location. This 2026 year the staff as the front desk Ms. Karen was extremely rude and unprofessional. I paid for my trip to the hotel in January via an Expedia app. During my checking in April, I found out that the hotel is not garranting the room that you purchased. They giving you left overs. What's a point to spend more money in advance? When I tried understand the situation Ms. Karen said: I can call to their manager or someone else because she doesn't care and doesn't want to help the client. That's all! I will never stay again at Hyatt hotel in Sterling.

There is also a stovetop and a microwave for cooking or reheating. That was a big draw for me to stay here. There is also a convenient shuttle to the airport--great for staying near the airport.

Chose the hotel because they offered FREE shuttle from airport. Called upon landing at midnight and learned there is no shuttle service after 11 pm.

I booked a room for March 6 but cancelled the reservation within about an hour after learning that my international travel plans had changed due to a major disruption overseas. A Hyatt representative even sent a waiver to the front desk confirming the charge should be waived. Despite cancelling immediately and never checking in or using the room, I was still charged. When I contacted the hotel, the manager refused to review the situation and stated that because the hotel was fully booked that night, a refund would not be issued. This was very frustrating, especially given the circumstances and the waiver that had already been sent. I have since escalated the issue to Hyatt corporate and hope they will resolve it fairly. I expected better customer service and understanding from a brand like Hyatt.

Large rooms. Breakfast is good and provides some variety. The 3rd floor hallway carpet needs to be cleaned...mild musty odor. This did not seep into the rooms. I had a good experience and plan to return in a few months.

The gym equipment was nice enough along with the being able to print from their computer. I did go to take a shower and there was hair everywhere in the bathroom like the tub and sinks were not cleaned. I also have never flown into Dulles airport before and the person at the desk was not the most helpful explaining where to go for the hotel shuttle and we ended up missing it and needed to wait until they came back to the airport again.

So they should state that this Hyatt house is more for extended stay customers versus someone who is visiting the area or a tourist, the breakfast was good and everything is clean, no one could make up our bed, the bar was very small, it was very quiet. nothing interesting in the area of this hotel we were visiting family for three days,

Very nice room, and overall OK. The frustrating part and reason for my reading is that when I checked in at 8 PM they informed me that the water would be getting turned off from 10 PM till 5 AM. I understand the work has to be done emergently, the frustrating part is that they didn’t call people checking in to let them know in case they wanted to make other plans in advance. They let me know once I arrived to check in. With the signs that were up all over the hotel, I find it hard to believe this was a last-minute thing. Otherwise, the day was pretty good, but that was frustrating that we didn’t have water after 10 PM for the ability to use the bathroom or the shower.

I will never book another stay at Hyatt House. The property is old and is in desperate need of a renovation. The facility is in poor condition and in a remote location. I misplaced my TV remote and there was no effort on the part of the staff to replace it. The room was drafty and smelled bad. Never again.

The staff, Phillip & Manager Angel, worked to make my stressful circumstances change to wonderful stay. Highest rating for customer satisfaction.They both were Angels. If I could rate 10 stars I certainly would. their very best to ease me under a vercurcsituation

The hotel, the room, and every staff member that we encountered was awesome…except for the GM, Diane. She was extremely rude and nasty when it was totally uncalled for. She truly berated us over a misunderstanding regarding a “late checkout” when we were already paying a late checkout fee. Phillip, Karen, and a young AA with glasses were GREAT employees! If Hyatt knew how comfortable Diane is with being rude to polite customers, she most likely would not have a job there anymore. Overall, the hotel and location are great. The GM is what would make you want to take your business elsewhere!

Karen, at the front desk was helpful, friendly, kind, and nice to talk to. The cleaning team was attentive, and refreshed our towels and trash each day. We appreciate all the team members that made the stay comfortable for us. The only negative was the AC unit in our room was loud when it'd turn on and the room did not keep heat well. We were in room 613, the unit is in the bedroom, which made sleeping hard at first as the noise was obnoxious. Also, it would have been good to have a shower with a shower head that detached because with a child that would have been helpful. Otherwise the room was nice.

Great location. Overall, friendly staff. The rooms are quite large. A very clean hotel. Two things, though: the restaurant is not open for lunch. You can’t watch tv in bed, even if you try to turn it around. Other than that, it’s a great place.

Called the hotel for the shuttle and had to wait a little while because we had missed the previous shuttle by a few minutes but the front desk sent it back out again to get us right away so it wasn't a bad wait. The hotel is only about 5 minutes from the airport without traffic. I think the shuttle is normally scheduled to leave every half hour since the next day we caught it back to the airport on the half hour. The breakfast had a good variety of food but when I first arrived they hadn't replenished it so had to wait a bit for more food to come. They were very prompt at tearing it down at the end which didn't leave us a lot of time to eat so just keep that in mind. The room was good with a king bed and pull out sofa. There was quite a bit of traffic noise in the room, it might have been the side we were on. A sheetz was next door so it was easy to get food and drinks.

Wonderful staff at front desk and bar/restaurant. Big clean room, big clean bathroom. Nice lobby. Great value. Next door to a Sheetz which is convenient. The only thing I’d change is the in-room coffee pot. Kept getting water all over the desk, but, a roll of paper towels is provided so it must be a regular issue LOL. Overall, a recommend.

The hotel is older so some things need to be updated but I found the room layout was good and appreciated the kitchen so I didn't need to eat out as often. Breakfast offering was good and kept stocked during breakfast hours. Hotel is clean, beds are comfortable and staff is very nice.

Driving to the entrance of the hotel was very unpleasant. You have a gas station on the right and a truck parking lot on the left. Once you pass all of that it is not bad. If I were the hotel I would construct a large fence on both sides because you feel like you are in the ghetto. The view from the window was the same, a truck parking lot. The carpet in the elevator is stained and frayed and needs to be replaced. I was not happy that there was no safe in the room. The breakfast area looked sterile, like a public school cafeteria. Most similarly priced hotels have much nicer bars and breakfast areas. I have also never paid for parking at a hotel in Sterling. That should be mentioned up front.

This Hyatt is old and outdated. A/C is ancient and noisy, and every time it came on it woke me up. The bed has seen better days. Just not up to the standard of Hyatt's that we are used to. The staff were very pleasant though.

Not a bad place but I was hoping that since it has a good review rating it would be better. There was a dirty sock under the tv stand so that was a turn off but the rest of the place was clean. Also, the bar was closed the weekend which two things I looked for were pool and bar. Not bad like I said, but probably won’t stay again. Oh and you pay for parking which is random for the location

As soon as we checked in we were told the room we booked wasn’t available and our room had been changed, there was no “we’re sorry” or “can we make it better” it was just that, very lacking hospitality.

After viewing the photo before booking this hotel, it said there was a full kitchen and two queen beds, seeing this I decided to book this room however when arriving at the hotel then to the room I saw that it was just two queen beds and fridge and microwave. Not at all what the pictures of the room I pick out before booking was really disappointed. Furthermore I came with my family so they wanted to go to the pool and it was closed for the whole weekend and the two day I stayed in. After speaking someone in the front desk they have said to be that the pool will be opened on Monday. So my wife and kids went to the pool as the sign was still there that the pool would be open on Monday. Spoke again to the front desk and said that someone will go open it and no one came which was another disappointing event during my stay in this hotel.

I like the amenities and the roominess of the rooms. I, especially, like the kitchenette. Broken or missing items need to be repaired/replaced before the next person arrives to check in. All services, like TV, should be uniform on all of the floors. I spend a lot of time and money there to do water therapy on my battered legs in a safe environment soaking my legs in the bathtub to ease the pains.

Best was the shuttle driver ( didn't get his name) who met us at the airport and was willing to take out backpacks to the hotel which allowed us to take the Metro directly into the city. Room was very clean and spacious. Best was tub mat with suction cups that make shower doable for seniors.

It was our 3rd time stay and become like another home in DC .For family with kids it awesome experience in this hotel.

All was good except if you purchase from snack bar you have to bring a credit card and pay with it - even though the hotel has your card information and has charged you already for incidentals. Only hotel that you don’t just tell them your room number and ask them to charge it to the room.

I had to stay for 4 night. The place is secure and good for family. I think dishwashers and other equipment need to be checked before renting. The breakfast is below expectations and it lacks any gluten free options. The reception supervisor is a great guy and helped fixing some hurdles that I encountered.

HYATT house Sterling/Dulles Airport-North has an excellent stay! My entire family loves HYTT house. Our stay was so excellent that we extended by one week. The staff we encountered were very professional and friendly. Room service at HYATT house is outstanding! We didn't know hotels were doing room service any longer.

I was extremely satisfied with our stay. Room was clean and accommodating and friendly. Unfortunately the location was a bit isolated and we were not near any restaurants. Only a sheets. Other than that we were completely satisfied with our stay.

The only downside was breakfast. It felt like an afterthought.

We paid at this hotel for one night and we paid to park our vehicles for 4 days. We arrived 4 days later and called the hotel since the shuttle service is “on demand’.

Next time we will know to call for the airport shuttle.

Pretty unhappy with my check in and my stay. The front desk staff was super rude and off putting. Zero customer service skills. Was no aware that we would have to pay for parking??? At the hotel I’m staying at? Are you serious? Room smelled gross hallway smelled gross and it was dirty inside.

Bar service was difficult to find, with low interaction; but food & drinks were tasty. I liked the room layout and kitchen accomodations. However, room had a strong mildewy smell, that told me it was under utilized. I did have housekeeping, in fairness, my privacy sign may have been on the door when they came by. Very convenient, friendly, and clean airport transportation.
