SpringHill Suites by Marriott Dulles Airport

Clean. The place had been refurbished recently. The extra room in the suites is definitely worth it.

I was not informed that room service occurred every other day, not daily. I could not access the internet or get the tv remote to work. The room was acceptable, but not noteworthy. The AC was either too cold or too hot with only one degree’s change at the thermostat. Three days of temps in the upperv90’s with high humidity combined to make me just want to go home!

Overall, I would stay here again because the customer service was excellent. However, I would avoid using the hot tub. During our stay, I developed a gastrointestinal illness, another person in my party developed hot tub folliculitis, and a third ended up with a UTI. Two out of the three of us required antibiotics afterward.

My family 6 and we have 10 suitcase. I called them before heading to airport to pick up the car and they confirmed they have it. And I confirm before start to finalize the reservation. And they confirmed they have the car. After finish everything they offer me smaller car and they screw up my entire trip because I had to go rent a cargo van to take care of the luggage’s and rent for the rest of family small car. Very inconvenient

Room was very spacious and comfortable! I could live there if I had to. Bed was great. Everything was clean. Shower was great. Staff was very friendly. The shuttle to and from the airport was quick and efficient.

Clean comfortable rooms Shuttle service at 3:30 am never arrived. Almost missed flight. Two front desk managers (Jennifer and Sam) confirmed 3:30 am. We arrived in lobby at 3:15 am. Shuttle never arrived. Had to find where front desk manager on duty at 3-4 am was to no avail and when he showed up and failed to get shuttle there had to force getting Marriott to pay for uber that had to substitute for the failed shuttle and the ineptitude of the 3 am manager. Rude, incompetent and will never stay there again. How can an “airport hotel” screw up this badly? Property is great , early morning manager is incompetent.

Our hair dryer wasn't working and within minutes they brought us a brand new one straight from the box. Parking was easy-peasy. Location was convenient for our visit. If we're ever back in the area, we will definitely choose to stay at this location again.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It's also not surrounded by a lot of other hotels so there wasn't much traffic. The room was spacious and clean and the complimentary breakfast in the morning was perfect for starting our day.

Good breakfast—the common area is roomy & can accommodate busy breakfast & then handy for use later. Teens enjoyed the fitness area & pool. The shuttle drivers were personable & helpful.

The airport pick up was fantastic. Quick with super concise directions. We did miss having food options in house or within walking distance. Our shuttle back to Dulles was more typical and was timely and professional.

Staff was supportive in getting us a different room after our initial room smelled. When we first arrived at the property the entire lobby and elevators had this very bad sewer gas smell which smelled like a toilet bowl. Our rooms had this strange smell to them that was either from whatever was making that sewer gas smell or possibly from pool water being tracked in on the carpeted room.

Overall, an excellent overnight stay with nearby dining options. Outstanding front desk support, too. King size bed was very comfortable and shower water pressure was really good. Airport shuttle service made this a complete package. Highly recommend and would not hesitate to book again.

Lisa at front desk was exceptionally accommodating. With a midnight flight arrival into Dulles, catching a hotel shuttle at that late hour can sometimes be difficult for these hotels. But Lisa made sure that I had a safe ride from the airport. She was extra communicative and very helpful. Nice to experience good customer service.

Breakfast was good, beds were comfy. There were not really any places in walking distance for coffee or food. It was right of a main road, but had good windows, you couldn't really hear road noise.

I love the spacious rooms with a separate sitting area and kitchenette counter. The suite was extremely clean. The front staff was friendly. The WiFi signal was consistent and strong. Although the property was very close to the airport, it was located away from walkable restaurants and grocery stores. The morning breakfast was average and had no fresh fruit.

The room here was bigger than the room we had at their Herndon location. The oatmeal bar had good toppings and the soufflé minis were nice. No real view but it was close to the airport which made returning a rental car on the way to Dulles easy. If you wait to pay on site they can give you points for your stay. Being a “bon voy” member can get you access to the WiFi.

Nice and relatively up to date. Good breakfast, just wish they would use non Styrofoam products. And patrol the kids (and adults) taking dozens of cookies etc out. Parking great. quiet location. comfortable beds. Housekeeping was inconsistent, only every 2-3 days due to labor shortages.

I enjoy staying at this location anytime I'm working in the area. Staff is professional and very friendly. The rooms are clean. I love the access to pool and hot tub as well. I always have a peaceful and quiet time here and I will continue to use them for future business trips.

Jennifer (Front Desk) was more than helpful and her business acumen was on point! She answered every question that I asked! She also gave me recommendations for dinner around the area. Hose’(Shuttle Driver) was exceptional picking me up from the airport and was a delight to ride with! Hassan(Shuttle Driver) was A delight taking me to the airport, and was a great conversationalist! My stay was impeccable! I will definitely stay again when I’m in the area!

Felt it was unfair and unfortunate

I have always enjoyed coming to this property as it is closer to family when i travel from roanoke. Weekend we went was busy, full with people and the pool was non operated while we were there which we were not happy about but they were able to get it back up and running they day we left and my little ones were able to enjoy it for a bit.

I received friendly and quality services during my stay.

Visiting family members then taking a flight to Portland ME. The hotel was very close to our niece's house and Dulles airport. The area was busy, but the room was just off the elevators, and we didn't hear anything out in the hallway. We would stay there again.

My family stayed here at the Springhill Suites for an overnight layover. The staff are very professional and the shuttle service driver is very kind. The morning breakfast is also wonderful!

I don't drink coffee or tea, it would be nice to have bottled water or a filling station for refillable bottles. Staff has been extremely friendly and helpful.

The staff upon checking in was great...There isn't anything walkable in the area...The cleaning staff in the morning were very friendly...

The property is well keep. We liked the breakfast the most out of any of our other stays. The combination of breakfast seemed different everyday! We really loved that Springfield Hill Suites served turkey sausage over pork products. We were always greeted coming and going, very nice. We suspect that our HVAC unit in our room may have mold or mildew as the temperatures rose. After a few days, all three of us noticed that we began to cough and or sneeze when the air condition was on. We noticed that we coughed or sneezed less when the machine was not running or when we left the hotel at periods of time. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

We didn’t stay bc we had to change plans due to circumstances beyond our control and they flat out refused refund. We are Marriott Bonvoy members

The water only was able to be set to ice cold or extreme hot. This was not just in showers but in sinks too. Also they did not tell me the room had a pass door to another room. I would have changed this.

Property was great, very clean with professional staff. It would be really great if people staying at a hotel would be considerate of others by not letting doors slam and not have loud conversations in the hallways between 11pm and 6am. Nothing the hotel management control just common courtesy.

The property is in a good area for regional accessibility to things like the airport and metro stations and industrial businesses. There is a really good shopping center nearby with Target and Wegmans along with some light eating options. Other than this, there are very few good dining options unless you travel 15-20 minutes

One ply paper. Elevator lock taped on with regular desk tape. Shuttle was not 24/7, we had to find a different way back to the hotel (say the driver had a emergency, and did not have any other plan of action in that situation, like letting us know, or answering their phones). Pillows were flat. AC was was limited to 68 and fan was not permitted to be turned on. Basketball net was hanging by a thread. Breakfast was meh, salty bagged eggs and hard French toast sticks, and microwaved eggs the next. Will not be staying again. Was cheap, but we did not expect CHEAP facilities and service.

Wonderful stay!

My husband and I live about 2 hours away from Dulles so we decided to book a hotel with my husband needing to be at airport at 4am. This hotel was accesible to the airport and if I wasn't already planning to drop my husband off in am and drive back home he would have used the shuttle service offered by the hotel. This is a nice accomesiation the hotel offers. The staff that greeted us and were very kind. Room was clean and a good size. Not much around the hotel it's self, but a few minute drive to amall and restaurants. We opted to eat at Red Robin and then too a drive to an ice cream place called the milkshake yard. Overall this hotel we rate 5 stars!

Hotel was very clean and quiet. We were there for a wedding but their airport shuttle seemed to be always moving. We have stayed in their hotels before and the room was in the small side compared to others. With that being said rooms were clean and beds are comfortable. We would definitely stay there again. Only negative hot tub was down. Water was 104 degrees and nice to soak in but the jets weren’t working. Highly recommend.

Air went out and Ali from front desk never sent someone to fix. When we got back at 11pm Sam was nice enough to come up and fix it. Asked for every other day housekeeping they never came entire trip
