    I liked the room location and the helpful staff. I liked the available breakfast. I was not thrilled with the shower configuration that ended with water all over the floor making it slippery.

    We always always stay at the Hampton inn in clay for many many years. But mid week the cost for 2 nights was 275.00 plus an additional 8 charge for property maintenance ..like what??? Even with the price our room faced the inside of the middle of some wall. ...275 to face a wall.!!@ See above

    The cleanliness of the hotel really stood out as well, which is something I have high expectations for whenever I stay anywhere. This was actually my third stay, and each time has been consistently excellent. One moment that really impressed me was when the staff notified me that my car windows were down during the rain—such a small gesture, but it shows how much they genuinely care about their guests. The lovely breakfast was a nice bonus. We went for seconds! I’m local (only about 15 minutes away), but my kids and I will absolutely continue coming back. Highly recommend!

    Overall and good stay! Room was clean, staff were very friendly, good options for breakfast-fresh too, quiet and comfortable environment. Just a couple small things that didnt impress: bed was very soft (we like a firmer bed-personal opinion), pool area very strong chemical/chlorine smell-burned my eyes as soon as we walked in, and pool towels are very small-takes a couple of them to really dry off- i suggest bringing room towels down. Thank you Hampton amd Syracuse, great weekend!

    Every single person that worked there was friendly and genuine. We were there for 2 days and enjoyed everything about our stay. Matt and Ian wanted to talk to me everytime I saw them. They just wanted to know how our day was going not just how we liked the hotel. The breakfast was pretty good as well. Different waffles and omelets each day made my kids happy. Plenty of choices and the dining area just looked modern and very comfortable to relax in. The pool area was clean and they didn’t run out of towels. Every hotel runs out of towels usually. I was very happy the pool and hot tub was up and running because they entertained my kids in between hours of the day we weren’t going anywhere. I needed a few random tools because the battery in my key fob was dying and I didn’t want to get stranded. I was happy I could get the battery changed with their help. I don’t know everytime I stay here it’s always perfect. I could go on and on. Please let them know how valuable they are.

I’ve stayed at this property many times and every single time I have to beg them to turn up the heat in the pool. They give me absurd excuses about why they can’t (they said it would set off an alarm- ???!). One desk clerk - Ian - was particularly argumentative about my request. I had to talk him down just to get him to stop attacking me verbally. After that altercation, he must have had an attack of conscience and decided to check the temperature in the pool. He found it was much cooler than he had told me it was (I already knew that but he wouldn’t listen) and apologized and raised the temperature. Unfortunately, that was 5 minutes before the grandkids arrived so we still had to get in a cold pool.

    The pool was a tiny bit on the colder side but extremely clean and well taken care of. Everyone in staff was extremely kind. One even gave sprinkles to my son for his birthday waffle which made his morning! Everyone we met was very kind and pleasant from check in to check out.

    It was nice but way over priced. Also didn’t appreciate the surprise parking fee that was charged after it was completely prepaid. Because of that fee, I would not book there again regardless of the amount. 308 dollars is too much for a hotel in Liverpool ny. I been to resorts on the oceanfront for less than that.

    A friend of mine & I brought our girls here to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We had a suite so the girls could have a girls' night, using the pool & hot tub which they loved, & then spent the rest of the time hanging in the room & playing games etc. The pool was the perfect temp - not too cold. The next morning, my friend took her girls down to breakfast at about 9:30, while my daughter & I stayed in the room. About 5-10 minutes later, the door opened & I walked around the corner to see if they needed help. However, it was not our friends entering the room, it was housekeeping. No knock, no announcement, nothing. When the woman saw me, she said she was coming to see if we needed towels or trash taken out. She did not have towels in her hand & this was an hour & 1/2 before checkout. Since when does housekeeping come to doors asking if you need towels? Usually you call them & they come knock on your door, announce themselves & have towels in hand. What if everyone had left while I was in the shower, so the safety bar lock wasn't able to be put on, or I had walked out in a towel thinking I was alone in the room? In this case my child was with me, so she would've been alone if I was showering, while a stranger just walked right in. It was very odd to say the least & I reported it to the front desk at checkout. The room & facilities were nice, just beware & take your personal belongings with you when leaving the room & keep the bar lock on at all times.

    The actual room was old and out dated. The curtains were extra stiff and barely functional. Although the property wasn’t aesthetically pleasing , the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They made my stay comfortable!

    The furniture was old and damaged. Rug looked like it hasn’t been vacuumed nor cleaned in years. Mold in bathroom, bed was ok at best. Pay a little more and go to another hotel!!!

    This property was very nice, but we arrived at 11:15pm after an exhausting trip only to find the reservation desk empty. We searched the first floor looking for an employee to no avail. After 30 minutes, the front desk person entered from the outside and had apparently been walking around the building. Not happy about the 30 minute wait to check in!

    The stay was for My Niece’s sweet 16 I booked 2 rooms and We stayed one night. The Hotel held a $75 deposit for each room for damages that They never returned for that reason alone I will never book there again. And No Damages were done to the rooms.

    We had a wonderful stay at the HI Clay location. Some of the reasons we chose it, was the free breakfast - parking and pool. Our grandchild was a big fan of the waffle maker, hot tea station and swimming pool. He even learned to swim this weekend. The staff was kind and so helpful too. Thanks for a great stay. When in Liverpool/Clay we will be back!

    Nice property and beautiful, clean rooms! Reception was very pleasant and welcoming. We were traveling and have kids, so the pool was exciting for them and a hot tub for our tired traveling bodies. Unfortunately the pool was cool and the hot tub was even colder. We were very disappointed in that, having booked it just for those two things too!

    The front desk personnel and breakfast staff were helpful, courteous, and went out of their way to be friendly. Our double-queen bedroom had one (desk) chair and we needed a 2nd chair to sit in. (Old people some want to sit on the bed to talk / watch TV.) The man at the front desk brought a 2nd chair up to us immediately. The breakfast was ample and hot. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. It was quiet. The bathroom in the room was dated and the tile could have used updating. But it was clean.

    We felt like we have so much room to move around. We just missed that body wash cause now the hotel still provides bar soap. Helpful and kind staff. They welcomed us so nicely and pleasantly. Pool was kept clean and jet tub. If we might suggest to change some of your pillows, some are too flat.

    Very nice stay. I had one problem, that was extremely minor, and the person at the front desk (Ian) could not have been more helpful. He personally went to the room to address it. I actually just went down and had intended to take a spray bottle back and address it myself, it was very minor. Very impressed with the service and care. No other blips or issues. It was a nice, clean and quiet hotel even though it appeared to be nearly full (based on the cars).

    Ian at the front desk was very relatable and friendly. One of the best front desk we have had in our travels. And also Suzanne at the breakfast area was always going above and beyond to make sure everything was cleaned and stocked. Awesome staff=an awesome stay!

    Everything was great! John at the front desk for check in was quick and friendly. The lady at breakfast was beyond amazing. She made sure everything was safe for my granddght with allergies, even brought me the package to read ingredients! Pool was warm and very clean. Hot tub was warm, not hot, but perfect for the younger kids.

    The hot tub seemed to be under filled as the jets shot water onto the deck even when adjusted. Otherwise, the hotel is very clean, the staff very helpful and the rooms comfortable. The breakfast had a good variety of options.

    Everyone was very nice and the property looked well kept. It's very convient for shopping and getting around. Honestly the only issue i had was in our room. It was not cleaned well. Our floor was dirty and there was a stain on our sheets on one of the beds. The rest of the property looked clean so i know it was a slip up with house keeping. I will say they need to keep up better at breakfast. We were there a couple days and stuff would be empty and no one to ask to refill, same with cofffee, during prime breakfast hours.

    The cookies that were out for the customers made my son sick. The pool end up being closed which was the whole reason why I booked with this hotel. The manager said he would give me points to make up for everything and never got them.

    Loved the location, breakfast, and the staff there as well I mentioned on check out that this was not a compliant but for attention in the room only, Freezer jammed with one huge piece of ice and fan ran even when off and continually I was very comfortable here

    Got 2 calls at 8:30am about a pet fee that i already paid (57.50) the night before. I was charged 32.50 at check in for some reason instead of the 57.50, hence the 8:30 am call. The guy making the call was a tad bit rude about it. For a 310 dollars stay for one night was disappointing.
