Dangerous area dirty rooms, canceled and left within an hour

The facilities were not hygienic at all; they were extremely dirty, and the room had stained walls and floor.And although it's cheap, it's not worth the price because of how unhygienic it is.I went with a 3-year-old baby and I couldn't get him to walk, not even on the floor because I was disgusted by how dirty it was.

Booked a hotel room for two nights and the first thing I see is mold on top of the ceiling. Once I left the room I was coughing really bad. There was also a cricket that somehow got into the room.

Very old, some renovations have been done (new floors) parking lot near our room had very large pot hole that we hit (full of water, as it had been raining). Very convenient location, right off I 10. Near a Cracker Barrel and coffee shop. Seemed to be in a fairly safe area.

This place was AWFUL!!!!

I called to change my arrival date from 5/12 to 5/13 through 5/18. Upon arrival I found my reservation had somehow been changed to 5/12 -5/13 only. After a long day of driving I arrived with no where to sleep and nothing available to accommodate me. Gave clerk my confirmation number and still was unable to obtain lodging. Very disappointed!! Reservations had been made over two weeks prior so as to avoid something like this happening.

Manage your expectations. Positives - Ice maker was operational, bed linens appeared to be clean and free from bed bugs, and breakfast was adequate ( assuming you like prepackaged muffins and coffee). Otherwise, this place is the option you take if you need a last min bed at 2 am while traveling ( one night only)... Such a disappointment to book ahead and show up and be presented with this type of lackluster accommodation, particularly when the proprietors take full advantage of the short supply over grad weekend to extort and price gouge travelers. Local Health department and code enforcement should pay a visit... deferred maintenance all around property. Pot holes that will swallow your car. Outlets did not work in bathroom.Dog feces on walking path, days old. Which means either no one is walking property daily, or housekeeping is blind. Simple items being overlooked or unmaintained. Entry door weather seal was non existent. Allowing all noise, weather and the constant barrage of smokers second hand smoke to enter our room at all hours.. Bed was the creekest and nosiest I have ever slept on. Room felt and was generally, unclean. Floor, filthy. Suffice it to say, never again..

I stayed at so many different Laquibtas Hotels but this one was the worst. One of the worst hotel I stayed in a long time. Front desk staff was very nice but the room are horrible. Sheets were clean, I think, but the room and the bathroom beyond anything you would like to touch. We were stapling into the bath tub in our flip flops to take a shower. On top of everything they charged us $350 a night because of the graduation at FSU. I get the upcharge, Every hotel did that but $350 a night for those rooms are discrase. To Lanquita hotels.

First night there my room had many roaches and the staff acted like it was no big deal. Yes its a big deal. They moved me to another room the next day, but before I put my things in that room, I went to Walmart and brought a can of RAID ROACH SPRAY and sprayed that room down We would have left there but there were no other hotels available due to the many college graduations going on. If you stay there bring some INSECT SPRAY. Horrible experience 😪

Don’t go expecting this to be an extravagant stay it’s just somewhere to lay your head down for a night or two. Anything over that your on your own. Rooms get cold as I’ve had one incident where the tv wasn’t properly functioning, but we got that situation handled right away.

Nastiest place I’ve stayed in a while. Tv didn’t work, air conditioning was squealing loudly, shower head kept having air pockets and then super cold water, front desk said they’d send maintenance up in 15 minutes but They never came. Sent emails and messages through their message center text and no answers back other than sorry for inconvenience.

The room was not in good condition. Holes in the wall, extremely small bathroom, look like it needs to be rehabilitated.

The room definitely needed some upkeep. It had peeling paint, a broken tub drain and roaches. It also did not look like the room in the listing photos. It had vinyl flooring, not carpet, and no table. It had a locking door, working AC, a mini fridge and a microwave, so considering how cheap it was, not the worst, but I wouldn't recommend.

It's was okay it's just that took they took some of my deposit all because my grandson was something on the blanket and they could have put that in the washer and watch that but yet and still they claim I damaged it and I didn't because I know they washed it in then all of it come out

Which there is no way to spend money on the property, but I asked the guy and he said it’s in case the microwave for the refrigerator or the TV goes missing. I was very surprised by that. I guess this place must have a lot of theft. Not really sure.

Had to cancel because we couldn’t drive that far as we thought. Expedia said no refunds. I won’t use them again. I tried to cancel and I was on the phone while the representative couldn’t find the reservation. The whole thing was not easy

This motel is great if you’re on a tight budget. Despite some shortcomings, it gets the job done, especially the bed as it is quite comfortable. Wyndham can and should invest a little more into sprucing up the infrastructure.

The hotel is very old. The first room I was given I had nearly everything removed from it. There was a bed. It was a hard wooden chair, pushed up to a desk with a TV on it. If you sat there, you would have no desk to use because the TV takes up the space. The curtains were replaced by some very cheap tiny blinds that did not cover the window. It was a first floor room about 6 feet away from cars with the sidewalk in front of your door. I refused to stay in that room because it made me uncomfortable that people could literally see in the window. I was able to get another room with curtains upstairs, not the easiest thing for me to navigate. This room had an actual table and chair. There appeared to be blood on the inside of the door and some nasty stuff on the floor along with moldy looking peeling baseboards. I took a lot of pictures just in case the hotel decided to keep my extra hundred dollar deposit.There is busy roads on two sides and I did not go to sleep until well after two in the morning from all the noise. I slept less than four hours and had to keep a commitment on Saturday, for which I could barely stay awake, followed by 3 hour drive. I had to stop at a rest area and get some sleep in my car. The staff was very friendly, the bed appeared clean but you couldn’t pay me to stay there again.

They should provide actual continental breakfast not finger saturated in sugar food, old fruits, expired yogurt!

Checked in around midnight, made it up to the room 121 with luggage and kids. The room was difficult to find, 400s were the ground floor and 100s were second floor. The only positive thing about the room was the beds were clean. That's all that I cared about at that time. The room had a very strong musty/moldy smell upon entering. Strong enough that I developed a headache from just being in there after an hour. The room was nothing like the pictures posted online. The door's deadbolt had been ripped off, the window to the outside was partially open. I did not feel very comfortable or safe with those to start off with. There was no screen on the window and it could be opened and closed from the outside. The bathroom floors had staining along the floor and tile baseboard. Towels had visible hair on it. The shower was in working order but there was paint and caulking dripped into the tub. There was an attempt at painting but it was very poorly done and there was painters tape still on parts of the baseboard. Parts of the baseboard rubber was falling off the walls. There was loose electrical from the AC unit that I got my foot caught on when I was getting out of bed. Lampshades were yellowed, cracked and stained. Dirty headboard, holes in the furniture and just an overall dingy and dated room. The next morning my kids and I had the waffles at the breakfast station and we were feeling ill within the hour. The entry, check-in, breakfast area was clean in appearance.

This is an ancient property held together with tape, super glue and a fourteenth layer of grout. Disgusting.

Freezing, no blanket, terrible breakfast, shower did not work, picture on line totally false, it was painted grey and very prison like or boot camp. It was a very uncomfortable stay!

The hotel and the room both did not resemble a typical Wyndham Hotel. The paint was peeling and the floor was not cleaned. There was food left in the refrigerator from the last guest. Also, the toilet took a while to flush. We will not be visiting this location again.

The ceiling of the bathroom was falling apart and covered in mold. Elevator was inconveniently placed. The shower head was broken and was spilling water all over the walls and ceiling. When I asked for clean towels, I was given a dirty towel with makeup all over it. Air conditioner was extremely loud. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The room had mold and reaked of weed and cigarettes. I am asthmatic and it made my chest hurt really bad. The room was also very dirty. I decided i did not need to stay here so i asked for a refund and they would not give me my money back. It was not even booked 24 hours before going in.

The front desk staff was friendly. However, they charged a $1 fee and a $100 deposit that wasn't listed or stated upfront prior to booking. The TV in the room did not work. The drain in the shower did not work. The hotel was booked so we couldn't get another room.

The toilet in the in our room was nonfunctional although the bowl would empty it would not refill and we needed to refill it manually from the back. I did text them, but nobody came to fix it.

The property has no real issues, but it needs a little TLC. The room looked “cleaned, “ but there were stains on the walls and hair on the bathroom floor. The shower floor is stained, making it look dirty and unkempt. Breakfast was okay; diligent staff constantly refilling, making sure we didn’t run out…. A nice, comfortable bed was all I needed for the weekend, so I have no complaints there.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was filthy, the clientele was worse. There was a hole in the bathroom wall that I was waiting for a rat to emerge from. The neighbors were either outside shirtless and barefoot chasing their dog around the parking lot or smoking pot outside our room. The only good point was the front desk clerks, who were both awesome. But this hotel is a disaster. Do not stay here!

Rooms were absolutely nasty. Walls were disgusting-splattered with who knows what. Floors...everything was so gross. We booked this hotel months in advance based on website images and location. Because the city was sold out we didn't have the option to leave upon checkin. I sanitized the touch point surfaces and felt horrified to have to stay. It was a $69/night hotel not $270. Fraudulent rate hike because of the event in town to boot. I would NEVER recommend this hotel.

This hotel is nothing like the description. It looks like a homeless shelter with trash everywhere around the property site. Room smelled terrible, walls were stained with dirt, blood and mold. Bathroom door hinge had mold stains. Door frame had blood stains. Expedia should not promote this place. We couldn’t stay there and had to leave. It makes me wonder what kind of QC and or requirements Expedia has to feature properties on their catalog. Beyond disappointed

I called Expedia explaining the situation from the parking lot and they advised that if I didn't feel safe, not to stay and that they would fight for a refund. I tried to call the front desk from the parking lot in my car and no one answered. Property refused to refund my money despite never even checking in. THIS PLACE IS NOT SAFE. Stay elsewhere!

Not a good place to stay. Not clean and needs lots of work. In our room the light didn’t work, the bathroom door was water damaged and not closing, big crack under the entrance door. Doesn’t look like a very safe area either. We saw quite a few roaches around, thankfully none in our room. Saw some syringe needles and homeless people. The breakfast area had a waffle maker and a few bagels and cereal. The pictures on the booking site(s) are pretty deceiving. Save yourself the headache and find somewhere else to stay.

It was not up to par for Wyndham standards. They had cockroaches and a spider in my bed in the first room 153. I changed rooms to 157 that room had bugs and the baseboard under the air conditioning came off and it had black mold behind it. The room even smelled moldy the tub was not cleaned. The rooms looked liked some men watched HGTV and said I can fix this. The board of health needs to to called. I left early and did not get any refund.

I dont know where to begin. With the good first: the receptionist was great. Super friendly, knowledgeable and kind. The bad: no cleanliness. The room smelled like a smokers room. There were hairs on the sink and tub. And the worst out of all- urine stains and poop stains under the toilet seat! I have never seen something like this. Literally the cleaning person is stealing his/her salary. This is incredible.

The pictures when I booked were acceptable but when I got there not what I was expecting. The lobby and check in service was decent but the room was something else, the cleaning was basic you did not want to put anything on the floor and an electrical plug was falling out if the wall with 6 things plugged into it. Later into the evening I started noticing some bugs crawling on the bathroom counter and noticed it was roaches , I counted 5 at that time. They ran from me going behind the mirror, later more roaches on the walls, front door and floor, at some point we went to the office to complain and was given another room which was better I saw no bugs. I will not stay there again and needs alot of improvement

It's a dirtiest place ever visited. It's completly a disaster for us. We can't sleep whole night. The restroom is usable at all. People are sitting on staircase and smoking all the time. They are homeless I guess. I suggest to demolish this kind of hotel or it can be used as a homeless shelter. OMG OMG!!!!!!!!!

My room was at the bottom of a mudslide - nothing set up to stop the flow. The things in the room were grimy & filthy - the AC unit was disgustingly dirty - the mattress smelled of mold. The ice maker around the corner was vile - rusted & has NEVER been cleaned. After checking in I was told an additional charge of $100 was to be used and refunded in a week if the room was left by their standards - DO NOT STAY HERE

This hotel definitely needs some upgrading and it is in a rough area of town. The $60 rate was attractive but my wife did not feel safe there.

The bed was comfy but the pillows were too small and misshapen. The air conditioner leaked and we had to put a towel on the floor. We didnt want to take showers because the tub was dirty. The floors were dirty. The Dish tv kept going out. There were 4 channels that came in decent but often therr was nothing on. The info wasnt available so most of the time you dont know what youre even watching. Netflix wouldn't let me sign in and any other streaming app wasnt allowed to be added.

Our room was not cleaned properly. There was pee on the floor and piece of soap still open in the washtub. We did get another room, but the place does need a good refurbishment. Dont expect luxury. Feels more like a hotel in a poor country! Not like you are in USA Tallahassee!

Our room was very damp -- a film of moisture on everything, like the humidity was condensing on all surfaces. Surprised everything wasn't moldy or mildewed. The floor was dirty -- we had to wash our feet of we walked barefoot in the room. The mattress was old and needs to be replaced. We will never stay here again.

Upon arrival, it looked nothing like the picture. The elevator is out of service, so you have to walk stairs. My sister has a torn meniscus. I explained this to the front desk staff. He said I should have asked for an accessible room(she is not handicapped), refused to move us and said if we canceled our reservation, they would keep the first night's stay....even though they are the ones with the broken elevator. Please note the enjoyment of carrying all of our luggage, cooler, and pets up and down the stairs. All of the fire extinguisher boxes have had the glass busted out and all fire extinguishers but a couple were missing. There was wiring for the air conditioner hanging down and Jerry rigged around the a/c cord, with connectors exposed. The lighting was horrible. Both beds were tacos. We rolled to the middle. We had to turn the mattress. We needed towels for the pool. We were told the laundry hadn't been done. The pool was the only thing advertised correctly, but we couldn't use it because we couldn't get towels. When I went to exchange towels, housekeeping took the towels from me, then said they didn't have anymore, to go to the front desk. The front desk clerk didn't not believe I had given the towels to housekeeping. He all but accused me of stealing his cheap hotel towels. The gentleman in the morning was professional and courteous, every other member of staff we encountered looked and spoke to us like we were beneath them and were less than friendly.

The room stink had bugs

The room was dirty. Tv don't work. Big dry splash in the walls of coffee or soda. Was a desk chair dirty you can't sit on. The bathroom sink was hanging. And the A/C was dripping the condenser water to inside the room. I have photos and videos to proof. The staff doesn't speak English well. So was a really bad communication. Never staying at that hotel again.

Awesome Stay

There wasnt any breakfast at 10 am the roilet wasnt working well , i book for two days n stayed one day n was suppose to be give bk my money for the second day n they never give it plus i apply for a certain room n didnt get the place there is dangerous n lits of ppl smomung weed n look like thieves all around . Horrible Horrible place . I will put it up on social media

There were some mild annoyances at the beginning of my stay but the staff was very quick to address and remedy the problems. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay for the cost. Would book here again.

Shower had mold Shower seat was stained with??????? Second shower was hanging by bare pipe.

My TV DIDNT work, remote either, Big room and the bathroom needed a bit more cleaning, Hot shower was great and it was a very spacious room . SERVES BREAKFAST BUT U DO NEED TO GET THERE AS SOON AS IT STARTS AT 6AM. (to 9am) I got there by 730am and omg. Most was gone .

Clean room, nice property so the stay is fine. A lack of disclosures prior to submitting payment is unethical. They ask at check in, AFTER paying, if there are any “pets”. They disclose AFTER paying that there’s a security deposit required. They fail to notify after checkout if the security deposit is released. FULL disclosure: my dog is not a “pet”; it’s a service animal and you’re not entitled to charge for a service animal.

Staff was super sweet and attentive and very friendly. The room was nice and clean and when we asked for room service they were fast and friendly about it!! Super nice, would love to go and stay again!!

It’s a great place for the money and I enjoyed their pet friendly policy. The rooms had clean bedding and towels but a bit ran down.

The room had roaches crawling in the floor near the bed and small ones in the fridge, you had to unplug the microwave to open it. The hair dryer in the bathroom did not work, the shower curtain smelled moldy the beds very uncomfortable just overall out dated nothing like shown in the picture of the room before I booked it.

It was in a convenient location near dining options and a major freeway.

There were roaches in my room and at one point my water stopped working but great location to get to so many things

I checked in online, paid deposit at that time. When I arrived, I was told I was marked as a no show, even though I made a note I was going to be arriving in the very early morning. I was charged the deposit again a second time, even though I told the employee I had already paid it. The room had not been cleaned at all. The bathroom toilet was disgusting. The linens clearly never changed. I was entirely too tired to complain or deal with switching rooms. Checked out an hour after checking in.

If I could I would leave a -100 rating. Property was dirty, roach infected, also questionable stains on bedding and sheets. Manager was rude and didn't seem to care that I was not happy with the accommodations. Do NOT believe 5 star ratings, must be family and friends making the entries.

Although staff is very nice and efficient the room was less than clean. There was mold on the walls, there were roaches on the floor and the overall state was not good. I had booked this room for a night stay for my mother and she was not happy. I noticed the pillows were a little dirty so we laid cloth on top when sleeping. The bathroom is absolutely terrible, everything is either stained or looks dirty. Overall I would not recommend anyone staying here.

The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was good and clean for the most part. Only problem that I had was a 6:30 am lawn cutting session. I was on vacation and didn't want to be woke up so early. Not much of a breakfast choice in the morning either, but that is okay I expected that. Recommend at least to have boiled eggs though.

Customer service was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is a little run down but it was clean and comfortable. It was better than expected for the price.

By day 3 of what was supposed to be a 7 day stay, we booked elsewhere and left. I also saw a child doing the housekeeping on property on the morning of my check out which was sort of shocking and very telling. I would not recommend ever staying here. This property is not in a condition that the average traveler would be able to stomach as it stands today. A lot of people are also living in the front two buildings.

My disabled son had an accident while sleeping/soiled towels and mind you all white (bleach is a wonderful thing). The TV stopped working halfway through the stay, the toilet had issues flushing and of course not even a plunger in the room and the sink in the bathroom leaked at the spicket and underneath the sink splattering all over the floor. They kept half the deposit of 100.00 up front. They do NOT have breakfast, they have waffles, prepackaged cereal, grits and oatmeal.. oh and a few bagels and plain bread. Really crappy for the price. Spend a bit more and go somewhere else.

Mixed review. The first night they put us in the second back building in a dank, moldy, and overly humid room. It was SO bad and we had to fight roaches in the middle of the night. We requested a refund and the daytime person was appalled his coworker put us in that room in the first

This place was horrible every trAsh can was filled out side they have a young kid checking the rooms for check out my mother in law who is 72 soiled her pants they didn't want to give me one extra trash bag the place was dirty the pool too I will NEVER STAY AGAIN

It smelled like pee around the pool and people were allowed to hang their clothes on the balcony. It looked like a housing project
