We had booked two nights (3 rooms) but only stayed one night because we were not happy with the rooms. My room was very small and was a king room. The bathroom was DIRTY. The hand soap dispenser was empty and dirty. The shower was difficult for me to turn on and off. In general, the room was dirty. Would not recommend. They did allow pets which was a good thing.

The fire alarm in the room started beeping at 11:50PM, the in room telephone was just a decoration not connected, there was no remote control to watch tv and when housekeeping stopped by in the morning, to make the beds they took the towels and did not leave any towels. I was helping a new guest check in and in the process learned the nightly rate was $130 yet we were paying over $300. When I went to the front desk to inquire about a refund I was given the run-a-round and he just talked and talked about nothing and offered nothing. Will not be returning nor suggesting a stay here for any of my FSU fellow parents.

Nothing! The dirty stained linen, the dirty blood stained comforter. The brown and yellow sheets. The filthy bathtub. The dinge towels. The nasty flat pillows. The oder in the room. And air floor unit that didn't work properly!!! I wish I could get a refund! I feel like I flushed almost $800 down the toilet!!!

Room had no hot water the whole stay. Mold all over ac unit. Floors sticky. They gave me half used toilet paper rolls. Stains on sheet. Bathroom wall has a bunch of stains. No refrigerator . No microwave. Stained sheets. Cigarette whole burns in blanket Hotel knew the hot water was down and of course didn’t mention it to me while checking in. Room 153.I know this is a “budget” hotel but I’m an Otr truck driver and never had a room without a refrigerator even for budget hotels. No hot water is my biggest issue due to being on road and needing to shower. Do not recommend

Green space around the motel makes this Inn a step above other competitors. Some oak trees and other trees included in the original design of this Inn property are a welcome change from stark concrete buildings provided a welcome buffer between the road ways.

The smoke detector had a low battery and kept beeping. I called the front desk the gentleman told me to disconnect it. I told him that would be unsafe for me. So he came to my room and attempted to fix it to no avail. He then switched me to another room only to find two dead roaches and dead spider in the bathtub. I was in town for my son's track meet at FSU. This was a last ditch effort, however, I will never stay at this Red Roof Inn again. It will take an act of congress and a co-signature of Jesus himself before I stay here again. I will sleep in my car.

Workable. Room was clean but a lot of the hardware was old, the bathroom super cramped, and the towels were thin and threadbare. The front office was friendly, but never did bring the promised clean towels. We were there two nights and I don't think a maid visited. I wouldn't go if you are sensitive to noise or picky about room details. But it was acceptable for an older motel.

The room did not look like it had been cleaned. The window shade was dirty amd not attachet to the wall on one end. The bathroom was dirth and there was hair in the sink. There was a room key from a previous persons stay on our counter when we arrived. The bed looked clean but you could see the spit stains through the pillowcases. They came and made the bad while we were gone but did not give us more washcloths a bathmat or handtowels. And nothing was cleaned. The AC worked fine but there was a panel underneath that looked like it was going to fall off. Parking was great. But for being a non smoking room you could smell the smoke from people outside.

I walked to the store around like 6:30ish (I enjoy taking walks it’s good for your health, mind, etc rather than driving all the time) and when I was walking back I was walking through the parking lot to the other side to my room and a guy cut through the parking lot to follow me then came to my room door and knocked for about 5 minutes straight then lingered around.. it made me uncomfortable and a little unsafe being that I am a young female. But other than that everything else was great.

The tub area was clean. Beds were not comfortable very bumpy. Air condition unit was almost disassembled. Location was good. But condition s wee almost undoable.. With game in town prices were high. This more affordable so we stayed. Over the years Red Roof has been very on scale this one did not achieve expectations. Would not return.to this location.

My sister and I were there for three nights. Our trash was never emptied, beds never made, towels never replaced. We had to either call for towels each night or go and pick them up. The person assigned said the room was cleaned and I told them to go look at the used towels stacked in the corner of the bathroom and to look at the over flowing trash can and the bags of trash next to it. I will never stay there again.

This was the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced. The cleanliness was also the worst. There were stains on the sheet, a terrible odor/stench in the room, black spots on the sheets (indicating bedbugs), rips and holes in the sheets and a dampness in the entire room that left it very uncomfortable. I experienced insect bites all over my legs and I was forced to check out early due to the condition of the room. I have requested a refund. The manager was not helpful. Instead of offering to assist in improving the room, the manager indicated there would be an investigation. An investigation? Wow - that is the worst customer service I have ever received. This was a completely horrendous experience and I am certain that I will never stay at a Red Roof, recommend a Red Roof, etc. I have stayed at many hotels over the years, both inexpensive and not, and this was the worst on every criteria. Cleanliness and customer service are definitely not a priority for Red Roof Inn. I hope hotels.com will take them off of their list.

This is the most disgusting place! We came to FSU Parents Weekend and could not believe the problems at this hotel. There was mold everywhere! No soap, disgusting fridge with old drink in it and something spilled in the inside. Dead roach in the floor and huge spider in a web on the wall. Worst thing was waking up to water all over the floor from the air conditioner. My husband stepped out of bed in the morning into water everywhere. And there were electrical cords laying in the water too. We’re so lucky he didn’t get electrocuted! The hotel had gouged us for the two nights we were there - $388 per night! - because of parents weekend. They took 20% off one night but refused to do anything else. Stay away from this place! It’s not safe or clean. The smell from the mold was overwhelming.

The bed sheets had yellow stains, the A/C was extremely noisy, and the entire room smelled like mold. The floors were filthy, and we even found spiders in the room. The door hinge was broken, adding to the overall unsafe and neglected condition. We have never stayed in a hotel this terrible. We were supposed to stay for two nights but checked out after the first and went to a much better hotel. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this location!

Prostitution seems to still be going on They advertise coffee 24 hours a day. I had to be at work at 6:00 AM and when I went for coffee at 5:15, I was told they had not made it yet. They did make it right away. Second day was the same and then they had it every morning. 1:30 AM the smoke detector went off. I took it to the office for fresh battery, two days later they still had no battery and I gave up at that point. I thought it was cat litter. It was in the drawers of the dresser all over the floor everywhere. I can’t imagine that they didn’t see it. There wasn’t a remote control for the TV and then when I got one, it didn’t turn the TV on. The bed had some kind of a cover on it that caused it to feel very clammy. I didn’t get to sleep until after 2:30 and someone that worked there maybe on the landscaping crew was yelling outside of my door at 7 AM not the way I wanted to wake up after a short night Overall it was not a good experience

I had a terrible experience staying at Red Roof Inn. My room keys were not working, so I had to visit the front desk several times. The room wasn't very clean, and it smelled bad. I would definitely not recommend this hotel.

Surprised Red Roof franchise allows their name on this facility. Room seems to have been renovated maybe maybe 10 years ago with wood flooring and solid surface counter and shower walls. However, there was mold/mildew in shower caulking and a sadly sagging mattress. I wouldn’t stay here again not recommend it to other travelers.

Absolutely disgusting property. Regardless of the price people should not be paying to sleep with roaches in rooms that were clearly not cleaned. The first room was so infested they had to move us. Shower had no shower curtain, the floors were filthy with trash all over from previous guest. I’m hopping my family doesn’t get sick after our stay. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

The kind of place where other guests can stand outside their room having a shouting match at 6am and management does nothing about it. Where there's a phone in the room to call the front desk, but it doesn't work. And where, when it's the morning of the clocks springing ahead an hour, and there's a torrential downpour happening outside, and you didn't get enough sleep due to above-mentioned shouting match, when you do reach the front desk and request a late checkout, they don't allow it. And you damn well better be out on time because they charge a $50 deposit (which should have told me everything I needed to know about the other clientele from the getgo). So yeah, will probably just pay a little more and stay somewhere else next time.

Just needed a place to sleep to break up our trip. Only thing that would have been nice is that there is only an overhead/ceiling light in the room. A smaller nightstand lamp would have been nice.

First of all we checked in and was given a key to a room someone was already sleeping in and ended up getting the door slammed on me! The man at the counter said oh and gave me another key to another room. The room had broken and missing knobs on the furniture. The bathroom door had been replaced and dirty handprints were all over the door. The bathtub had chips out of it. The toilet lid wad broken off the toilet. Do not stay here!!!

Grant it we checked in online and arrived at the hotel at 1 AM. On the fourth room we ended up having to stay because it was so early in the morning and we were exhausted . I had stayed before about nine years ago. This place is really run down and filthy. The front desk clerk even said that it was disgusting or I'm sorry agreed with me that it was disgusting. I showed him pictures and asked would he stay there bathed in that tub and he said no, I asked him for management. He said that she wasn't there but that she wasn't going to give me my money back because I stayed. This was the fourth room red roof says that they were back up what they say as far as if you're not satisfied, the room is free that wasn't the case not only was it filthy, but it also had roaches running all over the rooms the last. This hotel really needs attention and not just one room. I also spoke to a lady in housekeeping and asked her if she was in charge and if she was she certainly did not know how to clean well or supervise. I have no idea why they would even bother charging a $50 deposit because it clearly shows that they do not inspect the rooms each room that we were shown the outlets didn't work or the phones. How are you gonna tell me to call the front desk if I need anything when they don't even work!!! There were holes in the comforters from cigarette burns stains on the sheets and it appeared. Someone just pulled the sheets up for the next guest.

By far the filthiest most disgusting room I have ever been in ...there were roaches everywhere. There was hair everywhere. The tub handle was broken. The floor looked like someone took a nasty mop and just moved dirt around. When I walked up they were half naked women standing outside smoking pot. Asking me if I wanted to party.... I let the desk know about it. They did nothing about it. I just don't even want to relive it it. It's the most disgusting night at a hotel I had ever had and it was the only open hotel room in the city because of a convention and Expedia overbooked me in a different hotel and this was the only option they could give me and there were homeless people in the parking lot and along the road going to the hotel. It was just disgusting. There was a nasty stain on the bedspread. I'm not going to even go any further

Upon check in we went to the first room that was absolutely digusting. Staff was nice and understanding and gave us a different room, when we went in it someone’s things were in there. Basically they hadnt checked out yet. A third room was given but again was quite dirty. Within the hour of switching 3 rooms we asked if we could just have our money back and we would find another hotel. The front desk person was kind enough to give us our security deposit but the hotel manager wanted to charge us for that 1hr as a full night. We are still waiting on our full refund.

The room was old and rundown. My husband and I sat on the end of the bed and it flipped up. Every time we sat on the bed, it moaned groaned and creaked. It was extremely uncomfortable! The door didn’t shut all the way, but at leastit locked. Husband went to get ice and the ice bucket had a crack in the bottom of it and even though there was a plastic bag in the bucket it leaked through.
