Staff was amazing and very helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. Hotel was very clean. It was also very noisy. Your could hear people walking and their entire conversations. Super nice hotel, they just forgot the insulation between the walls and floor when building it.

Having family in the area, we didn't spend much time in the hotel. We did not eat breakfast. The coffee was delicious. Rooms and hallways were very clean. I love the walk in shower and spacious bathroom.

New hotel. Clean with friendly staff. Breakfast is good. No complaints really. The rooms themselves are very small but the bathrooms a decent size. I think this is a tru thing. I would prefer a larger room. Just my preference.

When we checked in they said they double booked and placed us in a king room with an air mattress to make up for them giving away our 2 queen bed reservation. The air mattress was comfortable according to our daughter and they compensated us for that night, then moved us to a double queen room the next morning. Staff was wonderful! We would stay there again!!!

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and check-in was quick and easy. The breakfast was fresh and had a nice variety, and the common areas were inviting and well kept. The location was also convenient, with shops and dining options nearby, which made things easy. The only thing I noticed was the absence of a pool, which would have been a nice addition to the overall experience. Other than that, everything was smooth and enjoyable. Overall, a solid and reliable stay, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

This property is extremely clean and well maintained. The staff were accommodating and friendly. The only suggestion is to improve the breakfast offerings.

The room was not much bigger than the size of the bed. Clean but way overpriced. Did not have the outdoor amenities that other Tru hotels have.

First time staying in a Tru location. Seasoned road warrior now retired. Hotel was very nice, check in easy and quick, staff was friendly and helpful. Room clean with all soaps, and lotions in bulk. Only disappointment was no microwave or refrigerator in room. Ice and microwave available in lobby but not as convenient.

Staff and room was nice

Very clean, dog friendly room. Appreciated the side doors were locked at all times and required the key card to access (especially since we were staying on the ground floor). Also loved the breakfast and the cool conveyor style pancake maker.

Excellent breakfast. Comfortable bed and bedding. AC worked great. Room pretty and modern. Teens loved the multiple games to play in lobby. Did not use the gym but it was nice. Front desk lady at check in was super nice and helpful. I will return.

The staff at check-in was amazing! Deanna provided excellent service and follow up to ensure my stay was going well. Unfortunately, Jacob didn’t follow up about having housekeeping empty my full trash while I was off property.

Ok stay . Staff was nice , gave me late check out n i got in super late so that was nice. Mildew smell was noticeable in my room n upper halls.

Welcomed by front desk when we arrived. Hotel was very clean and smelled good. The only negative thing was there is no pool. But all around it was a beautiful place.

One of the worst Hiltons we stayed at. No closer area, no drawers very small room. Extremely noisy with being on road side.

Weekday vs weekend breakfast was disappointing for someone who just booked 5 nights

First of all the aroma in the hallways and elevators was very relaxing. The whole property was extremely clean and well kept.The room was beautiful with modern furnishings and decor.The lobby amenities are the highlight. Free real breakfast every morning (not just danish and coffee.) Relaxation booths,24/7 coffee /tea bar, pool table, snack bar. And a beautiful outdoor patio. Staff overall was smiling and friendly at all times. I enjoyed a 3 day 5 star stay!

This was my first stay at Tru and i thoroughly enjoyed it. It was quiet and even had quiet times posted which was vitally important since I was traveling w an elderly person. They also had games like the giant Connect 4 game in the lobby for just in case moments. Will stay at another one.

It was new and clean. I would stay there again. But understand it’s basic. The rooms are small. And the breakfast, well it included eggs and cereals was OK but not great.

I live staying at tru but this was by far the worst experience. After driving for approximately 14 hours all we wanted to do was take a shower and go to bed. I was only given one key and not even offered another when we went to take a shower there was no shower soap and we were to tired to call for it as it would probably take a long time so we showered with the little shampoo that was available. Very disappointed. The door on the elevator was making so much noise we actually thought the elevator itself was broken.

Breakfast was great, room was clean, and hotel was very environmentally friendly.

Overall, the stay was fine. Bed was comfortable. The room was nice. However, the shower made a creaking noise all night as if like you were spinning the wheel of Fortune and it was slowing down to stop. That is the best way I can describe the sound and the light in the bathroom kept tripping with nothing plugged in any outlets in there. This was mentioned to the front desk and maintenance staff.

We found peanuts in the side of the bed. Didn’t like that there was no carpet

The TRU hotel in Tallahassee, Florida is Barun one of the most pleasurable experiences I’ve ever had. Incredibly modern great staff they have an entire facility where you can buy your groceries. Drinks pet friendly

The TRU hotel is a wonderful facility. Modern, clean, great breakfast buffet. They have a food market with anything you need. I absolutely love the vibe. pet friendly!!

One of the best options in Tallahassee for a short stay. Only concern this time was “running into” 3 Rottweilers during a 24 hour period. Nothing against dogs but that particular breed does cause concern. Especially when a huge one and his owner join you in an elevator! Please review your pet policies for the safety of your guests and staff.

Old, stinky eggs that smelled like sulfur, water logged swollen sausages and oily corn beef hash. They are better off to do away with the hot breakfast, if that’s the quality they produce.

We have stayed here many times and never an issue until this time and it was horrible! There was a party next door for hours until after 3:00 am and unbelievable loud speakers outside that you could still hear with ear plugs in. Staff was not helpful or accommodating in any way at all! This experience and how staff handled it was extremely poor and most likely will never stay here. Disappointing and exhausted from a sleepless night!!!

The breakfast had hair on the boiled eggs and in the scrambled eggs. Definitely need to use cleaner practices and hairnets. People with arthritis cannot squeeze the hand soap or shampoo bottles. The bedding needs to be upgraded. The comforter is very thin.

This is an updated and new property from Hilton Hotels and I love it. It has trendy and modern furnishings, very comfortable, great amenities in the bath and nice, clean new towels. I can't say enough good things. The staff is relaxed and give you genuine smiles when you check in and return from your day. I will definitely stay at any Tru hotel, but especially this one!

Room cute and appeared to be clean. There is some sort of club next to Tru— at midnight the parking lot party started and went on for hours The front desk staff was rude when we asked if they could do something. I reminded her that as a property next door they could ask local law enforcement to intervene since it was after midnight. Next morning…I encountered a german cockroach in my bathroom. Where there is one bold enough to stroll around in bright lights, there is always an infestation behind the walls. I wasn’t risking it with breakfast buffet.

Went to visit my daughter at FSU. It was super close shopping and only a 15 min drive to campus.

Breakfast was great, lobby was a blast. The customer service was great. Rated it so low because the entire point of this hotel was to sleep while on a work trip and that didn’t happen.

Will definitely stay again for game weekend! Staff were friendly and helpful. Lobby was clean and modern with a game room, TVs, technology area, and drinks, food and snacks to purchase.

While Hilton properties are generally good, it’s the staff that made this stay awesome. Customer service was #1. After booking my stay for two night. I had to extend my stay a couple of times due to unplanned events. The staff not only extended my reservation each time I requested, they also gave me an additional discount.

At the time I booked this hotel, it was rated 5 stars/Exceptional. Staff were super nice, breakfast was good/average hotel breakfast. My biggest complaint is about the beds. They were so hard and uncomfortable! I stay in a lot of hotels and have never had a problem but these beds were horrible. Will not be back.

I’ve stayed here 6 or 7 times. The property is always very clean and the staff are so helpful and friendly.

This is a bare bones place. No closet, just a short piece of pipe and hooks on the wall. No microwave — had to heat my burrito with the iron. Pump shampoo and body wash, which is okay, but no lotion and a lot of us need lotion after driving all day.

We've stayed at a number of Tru by Hilton hotels and this one was solid. Check-in was easy, the room was clean, and they worked with us this morning as we had arrived late (slept in a bit). If we return to Tallahassee, we'll stay here again.

The only issue we experienced was hearing the people on the too floor walking and moving around. Thin floors. Even eating breakfast, we could hear people walking on the 2nd floor.
